Great and cool professor
A total hotty and a really nice teacher.
Cryder is the ideal teacher. He puts so much effort into teaching and truly cares about his students.
very nice, very helpful!!!
very knowlegable, excellent fair grader... i really enjoyed his class and hes not bad to look at either
Cryder is an awesome teacher. He is passionate about what he teaches. He truly cares about his students and wants to make sure that they are prepared for the classes following his class. He makes me laugh a lot. Make sure you read the material, and know the stuff, and the class will be fine.
he's totally hot, so it makes you want to do better in class, but always blows off the girls, but is majorly chummy with the guys. He grades fair and he teachers well, prepares you for the tests, but don't think you will ever find him in his office ever!! overall though i highly suggest him for AMY2A
I personally recommend him for AMY 2A. Terrific Instructor.
smart guy, and hes hot!
He's a relatively new teacher, as you can tell because he seems to lose his train of thought when lecturing, however he wants to see people work hard before they come to him. He used to teach high school, and this is maybe his 3rd to 4th year, so he's doing exceedingly well for a new professor, but as time goes by experience helps.
One of the worst classes I have ever endured. His syllabus is a joke as it is never right. He jumps all over in lecture and is never in his office. He expects you to go to all of his open labs as if you have no other classes. He takes off during lab for long periods when you are there so your on your own for any questions. I would not recommend him
you may have to work hard to get his attention, but he wants his students to fully understand the material and wants them to succeed. he may go off track in lab and lecture, but just give him a verbal nudge and you're good. he's handsome, but so what?
Highly recomemded! He's a great instructor and very helpful and explains the material clearly. Listen, read book, and study his lecture notes...a must. He wants you to suceede and challenges you to better yourself. I don't mind him taking off,it gives me time to study the material with other students. thanks cryder.
He makes science fun. Amazing.
The man rocks. He is well affiliated with Loma Linda University.some students complain of him not been in lab are not ready for college(he is not baby sitting) You need to know your stuff if you want to be in the medical field. He offers all the labs, its up to you to take advantage not complain. Don't cry for the grade you got, just work harder.Th
Cryder is a cool teacher. I have him right now. The only problem w/ him is that he explains in his lectures and labs the material too fricken fast and doesnt give you much time to sink it in. He just wants you to get the information. He's a funny teacher a
Cryder's style is what you will find in a University and not a JC. If your a flake you will have a tough time. If you can keep up with the pace and not be intimidated to ask questions he will go back and clarify. Use the tutorials they help alot. His class is a challenge so if you can come out on top you know you are pretty good.
Great teacher and very helpful :D
The class was hard, but I really enjoyed taking it from him. Cryder mad a lot of sense.
He's an excellent teacher: smart, funny and very hot! :)
He is super funny and the other students love him, but I didn't care for his teaching style. He stressed me out and turned me into an insomniac.
Professor Cryder is the best professor I ever had. He truly cares about all of his students and is willing to take the extra time if you ask him. It is not a easy class but he makes it fun. Take advantage of all the extra materials he gives you and read the book.
Cryder is a cool cat. Very helpful, teaches you anything you ask about. You can ask him anything from A-Z and he'll have the answer to it. He is a perfectionist, and wont stop until he gets it right. Helps and encourages all students. He definetely knows his stuff. If you want to learn this subject, then take him. If you want to slide by, then dont
Cryder is an awsome teacher. His class is hard, but if you work you will get through it. He makes sure that you understand the concepts, and will answer any questions you have. I really loved his class!
Awesome teacher, expects the best and nothing less. He explains things very well and you will learn a lot from him, but it won't be easy. He expects you to critically analyze the material and be able to think in detail. He's very funny and his lectures and labs are always fun to attend. And definately easy on the eyes =)
Cryder is one of the best instructors I've ever had. He truly wants you to succeed. This is a tough class & he sets high standards for his students. I would totally recommend his class. He will go out of his way to clarify things. I've never had a prob finding him in his office. Plus, he's seriously HOT!
Cryder is definitely the best teacher I've had at RCC so far. The class is hard because he teaches everything in detail and teaches MORE than any other anatomy teacher. After his class, you'll know your sh*t. He was always there to help me and took time to explain anything I didn't understand. Great teacher to take if you really want to learn.
What more can I ask for in a teacher for he is totally Hot and SMART. I would only recommend to take his class only if you think that he is not cute because it is hard to concentrate when a HOTTIE is trying to explain to you how higher brains function :-)
Few teachers are concerned about their students wellfare and education as much as Micheal Cryder. The man is one of the best instuctors you will ever have. If you are prepared to work hard, participate, and don't whine you will be successful in this class.
Cryder is by far the best professor anybody could take for anatomy. He is Great cryder is very inteligent and expects a lot out of his students but he is always there to help whenever you don't understand what is going one in class. He will prepare you for any science class you need to take. and will help you with all your classes and he is HOTT!!!
Great Guy!!! The best professor I've had yet. He really cares about his students. You will have to do your part and work hard too, but he is more than fair on tests and gives alot of his time to those who give it their all. I wish he taught micro.
If you want to really learn anatomy and physiology, then Cryder is a great choice! He has hard tests but are certainly passable if you know the material. Cryder also likes to help his students, just ask him. He also likes to give out his powerpoints and slide photos to his students which were really helpful for studying. Highly suggested!
Don't take this class with him! I took this and I regret it so much!! I wish I had waited for the following semester, so I would have Professor Rosario. Cryder doesn't know how to teach, and is very rude sometimes. He will sure give you a lot of stress. A lot of people drop from his class because they can't handle the stress. Good Luck.U'll need it
Cryder is an excellent professor who does his best to prepare future healthcare workers in their respective programs. I would absolutely recommend him as a professor only if you are willing to attend lecture/lab and put forth effort. Otherwise, you are wasting both your time and his. He is by far one of the best professor's I have ever had.
Best Teacher i've ever had in my life! Very helpful and interested in the success of each and every one of his students. highly recommended plus he's so HOTT!!!
This is not the man for you, if you value knowing your grade on your last test or assignment, much less if you value knowing which items you missed on the last test, so you'll know better on the ****ulative final. Sometimes, there were exam questions that hadn't been presented in class or the text. He and Rosario teach 2A in alternate semesters.
He genuinely wants his students to do well. There are far too many people that need the class for you to waste space. If a student didn't highly rate Mr.Cryder they are likely to have failed the class. If you are not a hard worker you probably won't like the class. If you are interested in thoroughly learning the subject matter you will do great.HOT!
Cryder is one of the best professors I have EVER had. He believes in his students and truly wants them to succeed. He will work with you on a problem until you get it! If you want to be challenged and REALLY learn AMY 2A, then take his class. Beware! This is not an easy class but Cryder makes you want to do your best. I respect him deeply.
This teacher is amazing!! I have taken him for Bio. and AMY, also I had him for a Chemistry teacher in high school & he still makes sure his students understand the material even if it means spending extra amount of time with them. He also will arrange hours to meet with you if you are unsure of his teachings. Do your work & attend class & you pass
He was not helpful at all. He would not work with me at all with my busy schedule and when I scheduled an appt. for study help, he never showed up. Horrible! If you have other classes, DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!!! HE HAS NO SYMPATHY!
WAY TOO DEMANDED... ALWAYS MADE THINGS UP LIKE LOOKING UP CLASS SCHEDULES. EXPECTS YOU TO STUDY ALL DAY, EVERYDAY! HELLO MANY OF US HAVE JOBS AND BILLS TO PAY TOO. HE IS NOT FUNNY. VERY RUDE AND IS NEVER IN HIS OFFICE LIKE HE SAYS HE WILL BE. VERY UNHELPFUL. NOT RECOMMENDED
He is great, really hot. I took his class for AMY 2A and 2B. He is really generous by giving a lot of extra credits. It is hard...I would not recommend to take his class if you have another class.
If you need a hig grade for AMY 2A & 2B and you may need some extra help- go to another class. You get your tests late, you have to get the powerpoints from him, forgets papers that he has promised. If you can study on your own and do good- then take him!
Cryder overloads his students with WAY MORE INFORMATION than they need. He's all over the place during his lectures and talks about stuff we don't need. He can be funny, but get on his bad side and you'll see the jock/jerk come out. AND he's not even that hot.
Well, Mr. Cryder is hard and so is Mr. Rosario. But Cryder actually like to see his students faces during exam time. He can be really funny and he can be really mean. Don't go to class late or he will make fun of you. If you like to pass this class, you should always attend extra lab, I'm sure he will offer. read the text book first and then study
you basically have to teach yourself the whole class, he won't cover/reveal all subjects you'll need to study for. so if you have no life and you're up for that, go for it. on the upside, cryder is funny and more than willing to help you if you have any questions, plus he'll let you attend any of his other labs for free.
Cryder is the****. Its a hard effin class but just pay attention and study youll be fine. If your cool to cryder hell be cool as hell to you. YOU DO NOT WANT TO TAKE THIS CLASS WITH ROSARIO, although rosario is brilliant hes just hard as****from what ive heard. I got an A in 2A and 2B , trust me take cyder you wont regret it
Very cool guy. Get the lecture notes from Mo Val book store, they are exactly the same as his powerpoint. NEVER trust what he says will be on the test, its all fair game. A very hard class wherever you go but if you try and he sees it, he will help you out. Kind of an abrasive guy, you either like him or not.
i got an A. sarcastic and smart. stay on his good side and he'll get u through the class np. read the book- sacrificing the time will get u that A. he's supposedly a dept head for AMY- so that explains why he's so busy. attend other labs. just use the book and the lab manual... ignore ppts, lect notes. take pics in lab too. funny &awesome.
if he's hard, u need to know this 1 thing- u are in community college. if u plan on going to a univ. work harder... the profs there are way harder than cryder. he's actually one of the easiest bio/amy teachers i had compared to UCR and UCI. be happy you can at least interact with him in a lab. universities.. g'luck talking to the lecturer. got an A
this class is just hard...period. if you need this class take it with cryder not rosario, rosario is a great teacher but cryder is a little more lenient with your grade. DO NOT MISS A CLASS... dont believe what he says when he tells you what will be on the exams. know everything! he notices a hard worker and will pass you.
awesome professor, regular guy not your average nerdy one like expected in a class like this, the girls him and he's cool with the guys. the class is tough though but he will definitely help you get where you want to go.
The best teacher I have ever had.He explains things so well and is so helpfull.he is just wonderful. You HAVE to read the book if you want to pass.If he sees you trying and putting in extra effort then he will do whats possible to help you succeed. He made the class bearable with his making fun of people but dont take it personal and don't be late.
I love Cryderman. He is a very good teacher, who is willing to work with you and genuinely cares about the success of his students. He will explain things to you in different ways, so that you can understand it. The best part is that he has a great sense of humor and makes the really difficult material, fun!
This was harder than 2A... more details to cover, but if you work hard and show him initiative, let him know you are serious about the work, he will bust his butt to help you. It's hard but a lot of fun.
Cryder is hot and very funny; if it wasnt for his humor i woulda wanted to kill myself, but you will work your BUTT OFF if you want a good grade..and you will get it, you must study study study. Even if you think you know the material completely and your ready for the test, i advise you to still study. I got an A but i worked really hard
The most helpful professor I have ever had. His class was hard but he always told you what you needed to know. Also very understanding with the fact that I have 2 small boys when they got sick alot.
I took A&P 2A and 2B with Cryder. I got good grades in his class, but I didn't really use the notes from his lectures. To me, he seems to jump from one topic to another. He likes to text message his buddies during lab exams. I don't think he is that hot.
GREATEST teacher ive ever had. im currently taking him for 2b. you will understand if you participate, listen, read and study. hands down he is the BEST teacher ive ever had. he is not easy, not hard, but fair. take him.
Cryder is super funny and smokin hot (ladies enjoy). He really cares about his students and tries to help you out if your having trouble. This class requires much studying. take him and goodluck....did I mention hes really hot?
Tough, considerate of people's individual needs. Really wants the student to do well and offers every opportunity to succeed.
A lot of studying but it paid off, because when I went to Loma Linda University afterwards. Everything he taught in his class made A&P so easy at Loma Linda.
Best science teacher ever! This teacher is truely there for his students and wants them to acheive the most they can. Talks a lot, but everything is important info, and does not leave anything out which is a big help. If you don't understand he will do what he can to make you. Exams are ok if you study and he will anseer questions if you gave any. Taking him again for a second semester.
Cryder is one of the best teachers at RCC. Always willing to answer questions and clarify details. Show up to class on time (and extra labs when you can), asks lots of questions and study hard and you will pass with a B or A. I've learned so much from his class and am glad I took it with him.
I took Cryder over summer session, & this guy knows his stuff & expects you to know yours as well. I recommend haven took Bio 1 & Chem 2b prior to taking this class, cause those are the building blocks for more than half the material. He's demanding yes, but if you srsly study, as in looking up any word you can't mentally picture, you'll do fine
best prof. ever, need to learn the stuff anyway, make it east on yourself...:)
Great personality, fun, smart, never boring, organized and never late or absent. Definitely knows how to convey the tools needed to be successful in this class. I can understand now why he has such a long waiting list. Watch those trick questions, even though you studied 50 hours that week and knew the trick answer but decide to answer the given qu
Great professor!!! Highly recommended! Very handsome too!
Cryder is a passionate teacher. The material can be hard, but he gives you every tool to learn. He is caring and can draw in the lowliest of students to make them feel and be successful. Be smart with this teacher. Do not ever challenge him publicly, but ask questions, and go to extra labs. He grades on a curve and what efforts he sees from you.
Mr. Cryder is a wonderful teacher! He expects you to be on time or he will ask u to drop. The class is very fast paced and alot of material to cover. Try to go to extra labs as much as possible. This class requires alot of studying.on the upside, he is really funny.can be a jerk sometimes.Class time is fun and interesting.easy on the eyes and charming
Material is difficult-Cryder's not. He will help you as much as you need it. Xtra labs a must; considered in your final grade. Noone has gotten a test score after bones quiz. He decides if you are an A, B, ect. Xtra labs, xtra cards, helping others achieve w/you speaks volumes to him. Don't screw off. You will pay. He hears everything! A great guy.
I've taken both Amy classes with Cryder and the rumors are true. He will wead out the weak and make the strong stronger, If you want to learn and keep asking questions you will succede. If you can't make it in his class you either are too busy, or you didnt have time to really try. He gives advice to how to study pay attention to that.
He is a very hard instructor. He makes you do a lot of studying on your own. He doesn't take the time to actually teach. He just reads notes that he has given us on a flash drive. In lab he is practically useless. You have to fend for yourself and try to learn the models with other students. He baggers us for not knowing material. Teach Us!
Best Instructor I have ever had!!!
best professor i have had, had awesome advice and was always willing to help. made the suject fun to learn and took the time to guride students when needed.
Outstanding instructor. Has his favorite students and will provide them with information to help them study and get better grades while others will not get that information. Not fair! That is the only things I resent. Sometimes rude and can be difficult to get along with. But overall, I would take him again.
Interesting but difficult subject. The effort you put into the class will reflect in your grade. Great instuctor with a passion to help you understand the subject. Study hard and ask questions when you need clarification. Trust him when he offers study skills, they really work. Had him for both Amy 2A and 2B.
best professor ive ever had. made the class very fun and enjoyed going. hard class but if u study right and how he tells you to ull get a good grade.
Great professor! Was always willing to help me until i understood the material.
took him over the summer so i can just get my science out of the way. he said from the start that he would not fail someone if they tried so long story short, I got a C. He is very militant, but will explain something to you until you get it and he cares about you as a person. very smart and knowledgeable.
By far the BEST science teacher ive ever had! Very strict but funny and caring! Doesnt let his students fail, and if you ask him for help he makes time for you until you understand! His class his difficult and his tests are hard but if you get out of the class what you put into it. So if you study and ask questions, you will pass.
Outstanding! If you pay attention and listen he lets you know exactly what he will be asking on tests.
Listening to every word he says. If you listen close he tells you exactly what you need to know. Very helpful and He is the teacher to take for AMY!!
Mr. Cryder is a tough professor but he genially cares about his students. I garentee if you put in the effort he will match it and you will be amazed how much you retain. I am a nurse and if you plan on going into the medical field he is the man to prepare you for it.
Hey is super helpful with everything. He knows how hard you work and if your not working hard he will know and will not give you the benefit of the doubt on essay questions. He is very funny but you must get him for your lab too or it is no use. Do your reading ahead of time and come with questions.
Best teacher ive had at RCC. Lots of info you have to remember, concepts are hard to some, but he makes it up by helping you out every step of the way. hes very funny in and outside of the classroom. super chill. genuinely cares about his students. show ur working hard, talk to him and ask questions before test day! hell give you the answers! 10/10
Phenomenal professor! Cryder is definitely the Bees Knees when it comes to science. PLUS, if you're struggling with a subject he breaks it down Barney style, thus making it 10X more comprehensible. Good luck nerds!
He is very helpful and finds interest in ALL students. He will help you in just about anything. On top of that he's very knowledgeable not only in anatomy but in other subjects too. Hes very nice and funny! Take his class! I recommend it. He made anatomy so much more interesting than I thought it was. It also helps hes good looking too ;)
Super helpful professor. His class can be trying at times but if you pay attention in class and read the textbook, you'll do fine. He cares a great deal for his students and wants you to succeed. Take advanteage of his webpage it provides a great deal of info (videos) needed for learning bones, muscles and disection of the kitty-cat.
Awesome anatomy teacher, knows his stuff. very helpful if you ASK for help, cares about his students, cracks jokes but aways did it with a smile and taste. would highly recommend. Thanks Cryder!!
The class is hard, and he doesn't ask easy quetions but he is definitely a great teacher and very helpful. He seems very intimidating at first but he grows on you. He may give you a hard time, but will ultimately help you more than any other teacher. I strongly recommend him! He grades very fairly.
He makes you work for it, but he's very fair and the more effort you put in the more effort he puts in. You come out of his class knowing the subject matter not just getting a grade.
Wonderful professor! Very handsome and charismatic, and funny. He gives lots of extra help and videos that really help to learn the material if you take advantage of them.
I am a straight A student. But I was getting C and decided to dropped it. He did not teach much and requires student put too much effort. He puts questions on tests that mostly students miss and think hard.
best teacher i ever had. i took him for amy 2A and 2B. I got a B on 2A and a A on 2B. it was very hard i work my butt off to get an A, but i not only passed his class i actually know anatomy. i want to get in the nursing program and after taking his class I feel ready. i become more efficient when it comes to studying, end of story take him
Mr. Cryder is the best teacher I have ever had. He is also hot so that's an added benefit. I would highly recommend you take his class. If you have to wait it will be worth your time because you will learn a lot from him. Thank you, because I'm ready to take my Nclex and I will a BSN nurse. Your a amazing teacher. Jp
Professor Cryder is the best instructor that I have ever had since beginning college four years ago. Anyone who does not like this class was lazy and didn't want to put in the work requires. This guy is brilliant and completely interested in helping his students get ready for the medical/allied health program that his students are headed for.
The most caring professor i've met to date. Will do everything in his power to help his students succeed in life. Cryder teaches his students so many life lessons that, pass or fail, the student will come out with invaluable life lessons. He is definitely a role model for me. RCC's greatest prof.
Attendance is a must. He's tough and teaches some difficult concepts but he's really there to help you. I'm glad I took it with him. Be prepared to study and take the class seriously and you'll do fine. Just work with him and try to stay on top of things.
One of the best professors out there. He genuinely cares for his students, and wants his students to really learn the material. His class is difficult and will require an ample amount of time outside of the classroom to be successful. After taking his class I feel 100% ready for the nursing program, I would definitely recommend.
Cryder is an amazing professor. He taught me how to study efficiently and the importance of work ethic. He has a huge heart! By the time I was done with 2A & 2B, it was like we were family. He makes you work for your grade but provides all the necessary tools you need to succeed. I highly recommend taking his class. You won't regret it!
Cryder is one of the most genuine, caring, and intelligent people i have ever met. He is brilliant and definitely knows his stuff. I actually remember everything I've learned and can verbalize the information while applying it to real life situations. He goes above and beyond for all his students, and you will be truly happy you took his class.
Professor Cryder is the best Anatomy and Physiology teacher ever. Even though there so much infos to process in this class he always make sure the students understand the materials. He posts videos and stuff that are very helpful on his website. Overall he is very understanding and funny.. Once more Cryder is amazing
Great experience. Feel prepared to take on the rigorous courses I'll face in the nursing program. Who wants a nurse that doesn't know anatomy? Very handsome too!
This class is NOT easy. Study! Don't take this class lightly; he provides very good resources to help you. He's intimidating at first, but once you get to know him, he's actually a laid back guy. He knows when to be serious but also knows when to have fun: a very good balance between the two. He cares for his students. TAKE HIM! You'll regret it.
Cryder is a gem amongst a pile of rocks. He very genuinely wants his students to learn, and he shows this by giving you every opportunity to succeed. There's no reason why you couldn't get an A in his class. I would totally take him again!
Cryder is very knowledgeable, but he is all over the place! He jumps from topic to topic and wants you to somehow follow along. He is passionate about what he does, but again, he is hard to follow. He lectures about what you should be doing instead more so than the material covered. Be ready to go all in or get out of his class he wont fail you
Take Professor Cryder if you want to actually learn, not just memorize & forget. You MUST be a hardworker - he knows if you are & will help you because of it. He is funny, smart, demanding, will push you - anatomy was one of the hardest classes ever, he gives you SO MANY resources to study with. He's awesome - if you are serious, take him!! Study!!
All over the place and requires you to purchase his online book. Wouldn't recommend taking him. Not an enjoyable experience...
Professor Cryder is one of the best teachers at RCC. He wants all of his students to be successful and will help you with any questions. If you study and put in the time, you will pass his class. He is a valuable asset to RCC and a genuinely great teacher.
Professor Cryder is the best teacher I have had in college and he genuinely cares for his students in every way. He wrote the online book in order to save students 300$ and he gave the expensive text for 3$ instead of 399$. This class changed me as a student and now I will be ready for my nursing program. Worked so hard, but Cryder is the way!
Professor Cryder changed the way I study and got me ready for the reality of Nursing school. He opened my eyes to what I needed to do and become just in time for the program that I was entering. Before taking his class I had no idea what it took to get through the program that I have now been in for a year. His methods really prepared me! Thanks
Best college professor that I have had yet! Truly wanted us to be successful and he knows what is coming in nursing. This was very hard but I was prepared in the end to be successful in the nursing program that I am about to finish soon. He is the reason for my success and confidence. "I will not forget him when I am famous," as he puts it. Lol
Very intimidating at first but then you realize he's only preparing you to do your best. You really have to work for your grade, he believes only the strong ones make it through the entire semester!
I wasn't a fan of Cryder's while taking his classes. He expected SO MUCH out of us and the material was overwhelming BUT after finishing and making it through the coarse he has become my all time fav professor. The material is hard. It just is. He forces you to learn it and really understand it. Not an easy class but he's a great professor
I want to thank Mr. Cryder for always being there for me and directing me to my future, based on my strengths. He is genuine and forthright and truly cares about his students! I am better for being in his class. He's tough because he cares about our future.
Professor Cryder is the most helpful professor I have ever had at RCC. He cares so much about the future of his students and gives you plenty of resources to use for studying. This was a tough class to take over the summer, but it became my favorite class. I plan on taking him for AMY 2B as well. I highly recommend taking his class!
Professor Cryder is an amazing professor that goes way beyond just teaching A&P. He helped me in all of my classes. He is tough, but he cares and he prepared me for the reality of my future in Nursing. These classes with Cryder were the best decision to work at something that I have ever made. Unforgettable experience that I recommend highly!
I've taken some tough classes over the years. Let me tell you this: NOTHING has ever been as taxing, difficult, and gut-wrenching as this course was. That said: NOTHING has ever been more rewarding and fulfilling as this course was. He'll make you work for your grade, then make you work some more. It's because he wants you to succeed. Take him!
Cryder is the best. Period. You want to know anatomy and physiology? Then take his course! He is hilarious when appropriate, and so very knowledgable. There will be no BS in his classroom!
Professor Cryder!! By the far best teacher at Rcc!! Dude has a heart of gold when it comes to the success of a student, he will spend the extra time with you until you understand the concept. He really knows how to make his students work hard! Give respect, go to study hall every week, be on time, communicate, participate, and you will do great!
Professor Cryder provided a learning experience for all learners and he truly cared that each one of us understood the concepts. He was committed and his commitment spilled over to his students. I hoped my children would some day experience such deeper learning experience; WOW I am yet to be to find an educator of high caliber. A true gem. Thanks
He is not an easy professor. He makes you work for your grade. Well knowledgeable like you have no idea he knows what he is lecturing about you can ask him anything and he has an answer for you. Best anatomy professor but class is tough.
He is very tough! Expects you to learn on your own. If you have questions/problems talk to him, he is willing to work with you. All I can say is Study! & Study some more! If you show your work and determination he'll acknowledge you. Don't forget to talk to him so he knows you are trying hard to understand the materials.
Professor Cryder is the best instructor that I have had in four years of college. Currently in year 2 of nursing program. Would never have made it to this point without skills/ experience that he provided. Feel lucky to have had the chance to learn from him because those who did not take him struggled to keep up or did not make it through sadly.
Professor Cryder is the BEST!! I am in the program now and I wouldn't be here if it was not for him. His class is the way and he is the reason.
Very intelligent man. Makes you question yourself, if you really know the material as well as you thought. Read his textbook and notes before class. Be prepared with plenty of questions. He enjoys speaking to those who have prepared. Tip: Read before class. Make a list of questions. Study hard, not long.
Prof. Cryder is one of the best teachers at RCC. Great experience! He is tough and he expects you to work hard every day, but he is preparing us for what is coming in the program. Accept he is trying to help get you ready. I got into my program and I believe it is because of him. You don't want to work, then don't do this, for patient"s sake.
Cryder is tough, but for all the right reasons. Always come PREPARED for his class. He expects you to read the book and given material on your own time before it is discussed in lecture. His lectures will continue as long as questions are asked. By asking questions, he will give you more information of what is on the tests. P.S. STUDY!!!
Very disorganized with no clear grading criteria. Tends to waste time scolding students who come unprepared to class- annoying if you did come prepared. Makes the class much more difficult than it needs to be but tells you he's the best professor on campus- find another instructor and don't bother taking his class.
Prof. Cryder got me to take responsibility for my education. Taught me how to work hard. His way worked because I am about to start 2nd yr of program. Take responsibility for yourselves. Before taking his classes, I was never shown how to study or told what I was in for. Thank you for all of the time and effort you give to your students. U R best
In my opinion, Cryder is the instructor that anyone trying to get into a difficult program should take. Yes, he makes you work hard (and if I was lazy, then I would have dropped out and said that it was his fault), but if you stick with it he will do anything and everything to get you ready. He is awesome and I got in!!! Thanks. Best decision.
This class is required and full of difficult material that you have to learn if you want to get through the Nursing program which I am in the second term of now. I thought that I better come on here and say, THANKS CRYDER!! Everyone that was in your class last year just completed our first semester and is doing the best in the program. U are it!
I had the pleasure of taking Prof. Cryder for 2A during the 2017 winter session. He is a tough professor, but every fair if you are willing to put in the work. You truly get out of the class what you are willing to put in. He constantly has past students coming back every semester to update him on their progress. He'll get you through nursing.
I had the pleasure to take Professor cryer for 2A winter 2017 and 2B spring 2017 and what I can say is that this class will take all your time and you will study your butt off. Though this class is very rewarding in the end. If your serious about getting into an allied health program TAKE HIM if not I wouldn't waste my time.
Cryder is the real deal. He truly cares for each student. My experience from both semesters was exactly what I needed it to be. Got accepted where I applied, changed the way that I study and prepare for my classes and now I'm ready for 5 hard classes daily in my program. He even brought in current nursing students to prepare us more. Thank you Prof
Professor Cryder is an amazing professor that goes way beyond just teaching A&P. He helped me w/ any subject I asked. He is tough, but he cares and he prepared me for the reality of my future in Nursing. In program now. Cryder's class was best decision to work at something that I have ever made. Unforgettable experience that I recommend highly!Thnx
I'm in my second semester of the nursing program because of professor Cryder. He did everything that he could to get me ready for the program that I'm in now. During his classes, I thought that he was being too hard on us, but I'm so glad that I took A&P with him bc all of his students are doing the best in my program. Study correct, not more. Thx
Took him for summer. Very tough at the beginning to weed out the students, but in reality a very kind, caring professor. Participate and study ahead and you will get an A/B. Not a class for slackers. I had no life the whole summer, but I'm glad I stuck it out because he is the real deal and gives you a solid foundation for healthcare. 10/10
SELF learner? this class is for you. He doesn't lecture, most labs are to be completed at home BEFORE you do the actual lab, which makes no sense. You are required to buy an ONLINE ONLY book and lab manual written by him. Gives lots of resources but you also have to check several different sites for info, sometimes it isnt clear where to find things
First exam is review of BIO 1 prerequisite and learning how to learn large amounts of information. You have to put in time. He expects you to come to class having studied and be prepared with questions and assignments done. Didn't finish 2A with Brooks. Worst experience ever. Cryder is so much better. Makes you study and work, but truly cares.
I got into Nursing and Im going into my second semester now. The skills that he taught me made me more prepared than anyone else for my classes. Thanks Cryder. Ill never forget you thank you for making me realize that had better wake up and work in your classes before I got into my program. Many people were not ready for this, but all yours are
Lectures is mainly spent scolding students that they need to study more. Does not teach materials, so you basically teach Yourself. Labs are not always hands on, but you are we required to know all of them. Professor does not communicate his expectations well and then gets upset when you ask questions.
Professor cryder is the best teacher that I had in college. His class was hard and I had to work, but I have never felt the success that he showed me the way to before I decided to work and use his methods. Chunking is awesome. As a nurse , I still remember so much. Thanks Cryder
Thanks Cryder!
I took this class thinking my friends who advised me not to, were just being over dramatic. But seriously, try to take another professor if you can.
I took this class because I was talked into it by someone who I knew doesnt follow through at all. Im so glad I have what it takes and I chose to keep working on my own because now Ive stopped making excuses and I love it. Prof. Cryder was tough on us even though he knows that we might blame him for our laziness. He gives us all we need n more.
Professor Cryder is amazing! He is very helpful, and very clear of his expectations. As long you put in the time and effort, and communicate with him, he will have you back every step of the way. He is such an inspiration, you can really learn a lot from him.
I am currently an RN student at RCC semester 4/5. Prof Cryders A&P classes were essental to my + TEAS score, in my acceptance to the RN program, as well as to my ability to be an succefful RN student. I dont think you will find a more caring professor who invests so much in your learning. These are not easy classes, but well worth the effort.
He is a great professor! I took him during winter 2018 and he really cares about his students and knows the material is a lot so gives so much opportunity for extra credit. 100% recommend him and going to take him for 2B in spring.
I took Mr. Cryder in the Winter 2018 semester for A&P 2A. He TRULY cares for his students, and gives you every chance to succeed. I never realized how terrible my study structure habits were until this class. He does not just teach you the material, but he teaches you different methods on how to study properly. Starting 2B with him in Spring. YAY!
Magnificent experience!!! Cryder showed me new ways to study and got me ready for my program. He never spoke about himself and he paid for my book and all of my copies when I couldnt. He is really in this for the students. Seemed like R Loom was after him bc students preferred him. He was awesome.
Professor Cryder is the best! He really knows his subject and everything that it will take for you to be ready for your program. I thought that I knew what I was doing before I took his class. All that I can say now that I have taken him for a year and completed my first semester of Nursing is, thank goodness I took him! Thanks Cryder!UDAMAN
Cryder has been such a great instructor. You can tell he really loves and enjoys what he does, and that's teaching. He really care about all of his students and does everything he can to help you succeed! I really recommend anyone that is looking into taking A&P2A to take it with him! You won't regret it, you will learn everything you need to know!
Do not take him
Professor Cryder was the best teacher that I have ever had in 5 yrs of college. He's tough, but everyone in the class is now more prepared for the programs that they'll go to. It's like I am now in a special group of unique students who were given something that will make us all better than anyone else in the classes that we will take next. Thanks
Cryder's methods really work. I feel like I can still remember everything that he taught me and now I study a different way. It was tough and it was hard, but I knew that it would be. I have never had a teacher that actually cared about my future success like he did and now I feel like i am part of something. Thanks Cryder!!!
Cryder opened my eyes to the reality of what I had to do to prepare myself for nursing. He always went out of his way to make sure his students had what they needed. He would never admit this, but I told my friend I had no $ for books one time and he got them for me without me asking. I want to thank him for caring. I'm a nurse now bc of him. Thnx
Just finished the first class with him this summer and, except the time that it took him having to weed out those that just couldn't handle how fast and how much we covered in the six hrs/day class, I learned how to study and "chunk" a lot of difficult info quickly and I feel like I still remember it for his next class. Work hard he'll get u ready
glad that Cryder showed me how to be a success in the nursing program. All of my classmates that did not take him are not doing as well as those that learned his way. I am so happy that I chose to work hard in his classes! He genuinely cares.
Cryder is someone who likes more students than others. If he likes you though, youre good.
Cryder is AWESOME!!
Cryder is the best at RCC! Highly recommended.
Cryder was an inspiration to all of his students. He is difficult. However, if you are willing to work, he is willing to work with you. Come prepared for the expected and unexpected in his class. He sets you up for future success. I also had the privilege to be his supplemental instructor and after I finish nursing school, I would like to teach!
Cryder was the best teacher that Ive ever had! He really knew what he was doing. Best instructor at the college in my opinion. I will recommend my kids take him at any college he teaches.
Great feedback. Listens to students, prompts and supports a positive learning environment.
Has great material to learn from which if you can organize yourself is great . He gets into more detail than my last professor because he knows anatomy so well. If you are lazy, he is not your teacher. He does free writing and multiple choice for test. If you read all chapters, do his assignments and follow tests and all directions u will get ur A
Cryder and Rosario were the best Professors at RCC back before 2018 when I had them. No decent A&P after them. It wasn't even close to their level. I'm so lucky that I got to work with them both. No idea why his name is here, he hasn't been there for 5 yrs. Mo Val/ Norco classes were bad. Those two made me the Nurse I am today.
He was the best teacher I ever had in college for science. He was what made the science department. They should have never let him go! Riverside campus A&P was never the same when he left.
Professor Cryder was an amazing professor . He gave us all the resources we needed to succeed , and he truly cared about us . All of our lectures were so interesting and I felt like I learned a lot from him . I would definitely recommend Professor Cryder !!!
