Gives us all the test questions and answers the class before the test. He gives a lot of notes but is really chill and laid back. I wish he was teaching other classes because I would love to take him again.

Curran is literally just a phenomenal human being. He's so passionate about what he teaches and because of that you will learn SO much. There's an 8 page research paper but with some coaxing you can make it go away or shorten it significantly (our class got it down to 4 pages then made it disappear). Just GOING to class gets you bonus. TAKE HIM.

Here's my favorite Curran story. I'm in Romo's for lunch and he comes over and starts talking to me about post-modernism and all I want to do is finish my sandwich. Afterwards, I start thining about what he said and it really changed my perspective. He taught me when I wasn't even ready, lol. Who doesn't love this guy

By far the best professor I have had and will ever have. He has the ability to make the class so enjoyable and hilarious. As odd as it may sound, the one class I look forward to every week is a class that lasts nearly three hours, and it is all because of Dr. Curran.

This professor is what all college professors should be like. He is extremely intelligent and a well rounded person/professor. His lectures are hilarious and he is wild, but in the best way. His tests are really easy. The study guides match the tests almost exactly. You do have to write quite a few papers for this class, but they aren't difficult.

I had Curran as my professor my first semester of my freshman year. I always looked forward to going to class. You end up memorizing the information with no difficulty because of the amazing way he delivers his lectures. He is a great professor to have and you will look forward to going to class.

Best teacher/professor I have ever had in either high school or college. Funny. Has a great teaching method where he almost reenacts historical events. Often assigns students titles of historical figures and asks what they would do in a specific situation. I felt this way of engaged learning was a really good way to keep the attention of everyone.

Probably the best online class I have ever take. Dr. Curran is funny, engaging, and loves to interact with everyone one-on-one with video. He made Arts and Humanities interesting to learn about and I enjoyed the class thoroughly. This is the first Arts professor that made the information easy to understand and didn't get you lost in the weeds.

Most interesting professor I had in all 4 years at RMU, if you get an opportunity take him, it's a great educational experience

The best prof on campus, it is a blessing to get this guy in class. He is extremely intelligent and absolutely hilarious. His grading is basically, you put in a good effort you shall receive a good grade. He gives amazing feedback. The official holiday of the class is sloppy joe day at wheatley cafe. If you never have curran I feel bad for you.

While humanities is a required class for all majors and Curran knows no one wants to be there, he makes the material interesting. Attendance is required, he takes it every class and you'll lose however many points he feels like dropping that day - but he makes you want to go to class. He clearly cares about his students, and wants you to pass.

Actually made me excited about class. Instead of just teaching from excel he actually had you research technological things that you were interested in. Towards the end of the semester there was a group project/presentation which is easy as long as you stay on top of it. One of the best professors I ever had.
