Professor Dowell offers little to no resources for the students in his class, yet has high expectations compared to most other Economics Professors at Sacramento State University. If you are looking for an engaging class with a professor that genuinely looks to support the growth of their students - look elsewhere. This is one of the most lecture heavy classes I've ever taken. His lectures are primarily through words - he doesn't like to rely on presentations or videos, which make his lectures even more difficult. Beware!

He gets a bad rap but honestly hes not that bad. Yeah he gets kind of mad if you ask dumb questions but I would too with some of the stuff people ask. Hes really smart and although his class was hard, I learned a lot from him. No homework, 3 exams and a cumulative final. Tests are based off of lectures and the readings he posts
