He's has a nice personality and all the English Literature he teaches involves examples from the real world; answers all the questions that any students ask; gives you a lot of chances to do good in his class; tries his best to be clear in lectures and help you as much as possible; lectures make English class interesting; tends to laugh a lot.

He is an incredibly professor. He cares about helping students improve their writing. He has a very theatric personality due to the fact that he has been acting for years. If you give your best effort, no matter how skilled you may or may not be he will give you a good grade. This guy should, definitely, be head of the English department.

Best professor! Easy class if you do the assignments. He gives you a sheet of clearly stated instructions of what he wants from the essays. It's more of a discussion class than traditional lecture. He will pass out everything to you, unlike some professor that makes you walk up to get it. Gives you college experiences. Will take his class again.

I took Professor Dubson''s Learning Community Seminar Haunting Lessons. He is a great teacher and as long as I participated in class and communicated with him when issues came up with attendance or assignments he was always understanding and fair. He is an engaging professor who sparks class discussion and interest for the course material.

I remember taking Mr. Dubson for ENG111, and he is a great professor! he is very funny too and help you a lot with your papers. Professor Dubson is quite possibly the inspiration for the Robin Williams character in Good Will Hunting. He cares about you. He wants you to succeed. He will help you. He's understanding and reasonable about the kinds of lives community college students have. There is no higher praise I can give him. He's the best.

Haunting Lessons was the best class I think I will ever take at Bunker Hill, and Professor Dubson is a huge reason for that. He's so funny and keeps the class engaged, which made coming into the 8:30 AM class worth the trouble. His class had presentations, essays, short answer responses, as well as exams, making you leave the class well-prepared.

Taken him twice and I enjoy his classes. He does lecture so at times it can be boring but he makes you laugh. His passion for Lit is what draws me to his classes. He is EXTREMELY understanding if there is an issue and he doesn't hold it against you. He grades fairly and cares about his students well being.

Dubson is an amazing professor. I took him for Intro to Lit and Horror in Literature. Loved both classes and wish I had the ability to learn more from him. He is so engaging and inclusive, really keeps your attention in class and funny! You have to do his reading assignments and pass in papers in order to do well but he is not difficult.

He lets things slide in my personal experience. if you talk to him if you missed a few things he may help and see what can work. Just don't take advantage of his kindness. i would recommend him.

Horror literature was one of the best courses I have taken, genuinely enjoyed this class compared to my other classes. A lot of reading but if you participate and do the hw (which there barely is) you'll pass. Has a lot of interesting insights, class is just yapping about current readings.

Horror Lit is a great class and we get to read so many great books in this class. The only thing is that the class is LONG (mostly conversation), but he gives breaks (sometimes). That being said, the only thing that I would suggest is giving trigger warnings for some books. I was shaken up by some content. Otherwise, the class was great.

The BEST professor I have ever had. Never have seen anybody this passionate for anything they do. I love the class so much. I wish I can take it every year! He is a great great person. I just love him so much. I loved the books too. He recommends amazing stuff. Now I am a big fan of dark shadow thanks to him. Protect him at all cost!!
