You can't have any problems with Eula unless you have a problem with History. He doesn't force you to memorize a single thing, but he gives the most important aspects of history in the most unobjective way that he possibly can. You have open book and take home tests--you cannot do poorly unless you do nothing. He's a nice guy. Take his class.

Phenomenal teacher and person. His narrative is perfect for both avid history buffs and people new to the material. No tests, all the points come from a take home midterm, take home final and research paper, which he grades extremely generously. Easy A, but also engaging to students who may want a challenge. Couldn't recommend any higher.

I just had him for winter session 2010. He is the sweetest man and is very clear with how he teaches. I had no interest in history entering the class and I feel as though I really got a lot out of it. The class was extremely bearable and pretty easy. Just take notes and attend class and you'll do fine!

Eula is a really cool guy. He is a really easy grader and grades the midterm and final on a curve. Attendance is not mandatory, but in the end attendance is 10% of your grade. His lectures are interesting and you learn a lot in his class if you show up.

Eula was a great professor. If you enjoy history or even if your not a huge fan of history, you will find yourself drawn into the historical stories he tells. He doesn't demand attendance and you are graded off 3 papers written based on book information and his lecture. Overall great history teacher (Historian). I'm glad I got to take his class.

DO NOT DO THE READINGS HE ASSIGNED!!! They are useless. Just read what you need for the essays and the only one very hard multiple choices. If you can write a lot of details in your essays thats an easy A. He seldom use the board and never use projector so it is very hard to take notes from him.

Prof. Eula is VERY knowledgeable and makes class interesting and enjoyable. I looked forward to his lectures and was even disappointed that he cut his 3 hour class 40 minutes short each week. Class was fairly easy as he gave you the midterm questions in advance and let you copy your essay into the blue book. Final was take home. Take his class!
