This teacher is supper excellent. He is sooooooooooooo patient. He is soooooooooooo easy. He is soooooooooooooooo helpful. He is sooooooooooooooooo nice. He is like your friend when you are talking to him. He is sooooooooooooooo reasonable. I wish all teachers were like him.

Really helpful and frienly professor. He might look old, but he sometimes acts and think like an 18-year-old. He understands perfectly what his students want and need. He grades easily, as long as you show effort and do the work. Sometimes he likes to rattling on about his own experience, but it's not too irritating. He's super cool. Take him!

Mr. Falcon is a super cool guy. His class is a breeze as long as you have the grammar skills of a preschooler, you should be alright. He spends the time with students to ensure great essays. The only problem I had with him is that he tends to ramble off topic during classes. Besides that, he is a great guy and his class is easy.

You read a fair amount, and the amount of journal work is a lot. My cousin had him for another class last year and our class had a lot more reading and journal writing. So I think he has made his classes harder. Fun class tho.

Mike Falcon is a *GREAT* teacher. He is straight forward, but this semester, we had a lot of journals to do. However, that wasn't that hard. He is very picky for attendance, but he's right because if you don't go to class of course, you will miss the assignment; thus, it is for your benefit. I'm going to take him one more time for my other class.

Excellent teacher. I took his class during winter and I really enjoyed. Compared to other teachers he cares about his students. First few week scares the students that he's a hard teacher. But go to class, do the HW, do the essays and you'll be fine.

He indeed values your hard work, so make sure to put your effort on it. he fairly accepts all kinds of arguments whether he likes it as long as you have supports.

Also, my mom had him for English 104 and she doesn't speak english very well but she learned exactly how to form good arguments for essays and he valued her hard work over a short semester. He does everything to make it easy for you and you learn and overall, he's just an amazing man.

He makes the subject more interesting by choosing different short stories. You need to use your analytical thinking skills a lot. He is very strict but cooperative. Do your homework. Be on time.

The BEST English prof at GCC! He motivates each person individually and actually makes his assignments enjoyable to write! Interesting reading material too. He made me become a much better writer! A lot of work is included in this course but it's a critical thinking class so you have to work hard. I got an A so it can be done :)

Although his instructions for all essays were quite unorganized sometimes, I still did a better job in his class last Winter Session 2015. And his film lectures were actually related to the world of Work not just for fun reasons, and he is also a master of pop quiz which was easier to do that.

His class was a JOKE. the easiest english class i've ever had. his lectures are not lectures. They were amazingly captivating stories that swayed you to listen and LEARN. All the essays were extremely easy.

Down to earth & humorous but does not mess around. Attendance is important! Exams are idiot-proof. No tricky questions here. Expect LOTS of reading though you'll LEARN so much. Easy A but do your work. Has no phone or slacking off tolerance whatsoever! Is reasonable to your personal problems but make sure to notify him in advance. Patient.

Don't chew gum, don't text, don't check your phone & you'll be good to go. His lectures sometimes go off topic but he's a blast to have. Deserves respect that many students unfortunately lack to provide. Lots of videos & articles to go over yet very enjoyable.

Signing 5 essays per semester, He gives students chances to revise, so the students can get high grade. He is always glad to help his students during the office hours or after class. Only thing Students need to do is do the homework on time. Then they will get high grade in his class. I recommend his class. No too hard!

He recently changed his class material. I had him for Winter 2016 and his class was all about monsters. I found it very interesting, however, he does give a lot of work since there is homework every night. That may have been because our class was only 5 weeks, but he grades easy nonetheless and he does not expect much. Definitely recommend him.

The man's kind of losing his mind and tends to go off on tangents, but I didn't care. A lot of his class involved watching movies and tedious homework assignments. However, it's easy to get on his good side and do well. His prompts aren't too hard, and the topics are the most interesting you'll ever write about in an English class. Rather chill.

Honestly Mike Falcon was the greatest professor I've ever had. By the end of the semester he was more of a friend to me than a professor. His assignments do require effort but he is always there to help you and has a clear grading criteria. Had him during summer and even though it was a lot of work, I had absolutely an amazing time in his class.

I loved this class. Mr. Falcon is funny and encouraging. You learn & you try out some really fun creative activities. Fair grading. The usual readings & essays, but the creative exercises are graded on completeness instead of some idea of talent. I'm not the most creative person in the world & that did NOT affect my grade. I took the class English 1C for monster culture. It's the best decision I made this year. His class is interesting and relaxing. Though lots of reading and homework were needed, you can get enough knowledge and materials about the essays. Make sure you fulfill all his requirements about the essay, and you can get A.

Professor Falcon was friendly and yes the class wasn't easy, but it was interesting. There is couple of homework, research paper, extra credits, in class essays and final essay. This is critical thinking class and you should work for it. Just don't use cell phone otherwise you will be dropped from the class immediately. Just be respectful.

He is a little unorganized, but you can tell he is a professor that cares about his students. He gives several opportunities for you to fix your papers, with good feedback, and then gives you credit for it. There are a lot of writing assignments related to the readings, but overall it is fair work for a 104 class. Just keep up with the class.

In the welcome email letter he sends he makes himself seem tough, strict, and daunting, but he's really not. Class was super easy, first half of the semester he gave quizzes every week based on the reading but then dropped to none in the second half. Watched a movie pretty much every week. He talked about art, movies, and his life experiences.

Just don't be a jerk in class, my class was a quiet class, we listened patiently, so he was fair with us. He's not like others teachers where you work hard all semester and end up with a C.

One of the very best classes I have ever taken. Funny that you are not graded on your creativity, but on writing about creativity and various essays. Writing about my favorite childhood toy showed me a lot about myself. I was surprised. I was more surprised by the incredible films we watched. My sister took the class in 2017. We both got an A.

Took Hum 117 Friday nights. Hysterical textbook, interesting assignments. Prof brings in some good guests, like a Motown sound engineer, special effects creator, working actor, young film finance wiz. Great films. Grades short essays and quizzes. Little pressure. Prof avoids judging or grading your actual creativity.

You know exactly what he wants with very specific prompts. If you need help with writing you can always go to his office and he'll tell you exactly what hes looking for in your essay. His corrections on rough drafts are very detailed so that you can easily get an A. He took me out of class and bet me $1 Id get an A, i still have a debt to pay.

Forced us to buy the textbook and a comp book..I literally never touched either one. Spent classes watching movies and docs. Had a syllabus that we never followed. Took a couple quizzes, wrote a couple EASY papers. I honestly didn't learn a thing... he's a nice guy but the class was a waste of my time. No phones or sleeping in class, no canvas use.

It seems that M. Falcon lives with GCC's life. He is so passionate about his class, and it transfers to his most of the students. This class is different from other classes because it tries to reveal creativity in every one. So, it includes reading, watching video materials, listening to the music, and writing critically. I will miss this class.

Professor Falcon was one of the best professors that I've had so far at GCC. You can tell that he cares a lot about his students and is passionate in what he teaches. Just show up to class, study for the quizzes(none of them are hard), do the essay assignments(he's not strict about it when grading, just answer the prompt), and you'll get an A.

Professor Falcon is an amazing teacher, one of the best and easiest classes I've taken. He's a real gem. TAKE HIM!!!!

I took professor falcon's class last fall on a FRIDAY night, I thought I would regret picking up a Friday night class but his lectures are amazing and his class was great!

Awesome professor, polite, reserved, and genuine about what he teaches! Easy class. He'll say you'll need the textbook but we never really used it other than one time to see who had their textbooks. Amazing individual, caring and tries his best to connect with all students.

One of the best Professor Ive had at Glendale, not only because of his teaching but because of his warming heart. He is such a caring professor beyond the education work and I really appreciated that.

He is AMAZING. If you go to GCC, try to take one of his classes. I took a night class and I thought it was going to be horrible because I didn't want to sacrifice my evening but WOW he is such a nice, intelligent, and caring man. I had such a fun time in his class. He always engages with students and makes jokes throughout the class. HIGHLY REC

I took Professor Falcon's Creativity and Culture class this semester. The class meets Wednesday evenings from 6:40 to 9:50 PM. At first, I assumed this class would ruin my week, seeing as it is in the middle of the week at night. However, Professor Falcon always finds a way to make it enjoyable. He is such a sweet, caring teacher. Loved his class!

Wow, just wow. Mr. Falcon is THE BEST! He's passionate about the subject he teaches and actually makes an effort to get to know the students. His essays are easy to understand & complete and his class won't give you any complications There aren't enough words in the dictionary to describe how much of a gem he is! PLEASE TAKE HIM!!!

He does give out a lot of work but it is manageable and kinda of easy. If you know how to Wright papers already his class will be an easy A. You Will need to take time of your day to Wright your assignments other than that everything is easy

Professor Falcon's ENG104 is manageable if you stay engaged. The essays have clear guidelines, and quizzes are doable. Unstuckstudy was a lifesaver for prep. Attend class, use the textbook, and you'll likely earn a solid grade.
