Fantastic teacher, very patient and thoughtful! I took class online but never felt lost!

He is an AWESOME teacher. I learned and had a lot of fun in his class. I am taking his Comp & Lit class too!

Mr. Franco was one of the best teachers I've had. Don't listen to what the other people said. Mr. Franco doesn't tolerate ****s in his class. Mr.Franco is without doubt one of the best teachers at OKCCC. If you don't pass the class, you tried damn hard to fail.

Mr. Franco is such an excellent teacher. He is soooo easy and gives so much effort to help everyone out individually! He generously grades our papers and gives you high grades. SUCH A GREAT TEACHER EVERYONE SHOULD ENROLL IN HIS CLASS!

I disagree with comments here. Mr. Franco is only easy because he tells you what he wants and what to fix in the next essay. If you follow his advice, the class is easy. Second, he relates the class to current events to make it interesting. He never forces his views. He belongs at a university.

Mr. Franco is engaging, witty, charming, and articulate. He's the Jon Stewart of OKCCC - willing to ever-so-slightly offend to help you learn. One day after class I asked him if he meant something he said; he replied, "Of course not -- I always argue against what I actually believe." Grade A.

Mr. Franco was marvelous. I do believe you must be aware Mr. Franco has a style preference. It took me many attempts to grasp that style. I must say he is more then willing to work with you to help perfect it.

Franco is the best! I took him for Engl II intersession and it was still easy! he is a great teacher who is really willing to help you out when you need help.

Mr. Franco is a very good Instructor. Very helpful and easy to go with. I took his class for the fall intersection, though too much work to do, he was alway there for everyone. He will profread our papers and everything. I will HIGHLY recommend his to anyone who wants to pass with good grade.

If you take english, I highly rec. Prof. Franco. If you have trouble writing like I do, he is more than happy to help with any problems and clear up any questions you have.

I took professor Franco for Jan. Intersession. The amount of work is insane but he is very helpful. I learned more in 2 weeks than I learned in 16 weeks of english 1. I highly recommend Prof. Franco for any english class

Mr.Franco is a very good proffesor he does his best to help you achieve the grade you want in his class and he helps you at any point that you need help in his class. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM FOR ENGLISH...

I took him for fall intersession. It was a lot of work! He made going to class at 8:30 in the morning not as bad as I would of thought. He's a nice, funny guy and helps you out a lot. He loves his caffeine! Overall an awesome instructor!!! I would take him again.

Very nice. Helps you as much as you need. Gives extra credit by visiting communication lab. I would definately take another one of his classes.

He kept me on edge with my grade. I was always worried about how I would do. He was a good online teacher. Just read the few stories he requests and write the essays. You'll be fine.

I took his summer online Comp II class. He is a great teacher. If you follow his directions, you will do good. There are a lot of assignments, but they are pretty easy. He is also very helpful. I really enjoyed his class and would take his class again if I could.

I took English Comp 2 in a intersession. It wasn't easy but he made it as easy as possible. He worked with us and helped whenever he was asked. He is one of the best teachers on this campus and i highly recommend everyone take him if they can.

Mr. Franco is an amazing teacher. He is very funny and is very easy to get along with. He tries to understand his students and will work with you. I took his intersession class and he kept a 4 hour class interesting. I really enjoyed him and he made english way more fun. He makes you think, but not too much. I would take him again if I could.

I took him for COMP II and he is a great professor. The initial assessment assigment made me believe I was going to do bad in his class. But he taught me how to write better, and it earned me an A. Don't think you can skate through with an A, you will have to earn it, but he will definitely help you to get the A!

Professor Franco is helpful when needed. He's great at responded to e-mails. He grades the way most professor should. His critiques are harsh but make you think.

He's nice and very helpful. Just read the text and his handout for his quizzes. Do what he wrote in the handout for every essay then you will be fine in his class.

This was my first semester of college ever. I don't think I could have asked for a better English teacher. I had Mr.Fanco for Eng.Comp.1 He is very helpful and upbeat.If you ask him , he will help you all that he can. If you just do your essays and read what he assigns then you will have no trouble getting an A!

took him my first semester and he helped me so much! i've never been a good writer but he made it easy to understand and even fun...he is also VERY HOT!! in a cute-nice-guy-but-a-little-quirky sorta way... would recommend him!

He is a very smart guy, very nice, helpful. But, alot of what he said went over my head, he didnt really speak my language when he was explaining things. He grades very fairly, I have no clue how I got out of there with a B, 'cause I had no clue what the hell I was doing. He is cute by the way.

Took online course w/ Franco. He does grade fair but will take out as much points on an essay without mercy if its bad(has to be an amazing essay). Very nice and helpful. Easy to communicate online but doesn't grade the essays in the fastest manner. Class was not easy at all! You have to do a fair amount of reading for the quizzes and discussions.

I took Prof. Franco for an online 8 week English Comp 2 course. The course was very challenging. We wrote 5 essays in 8 weeks. Posting 2-3 discussions a week was annoying but easy. He was extremely fast getting back to me with questions. Great summer course!

My favorite professor! He's funny, and cool as can be. The assignments are not easy by any means, but he does everything he can to be helpful and precise. A good grade is definitely possible if you work at it.

Online Engl 1213. Mr. Franco is an amazing man. This teacher takes the time to respond to every email, he does not make you feel like you are bothering him, and he will give you a good grade if you earn it. He provides everything you need to get a good grade. I would take him for every class if I could.

Not to clear on his quizzes for each section. Writing in argumentative style is a challenge & this professor isn't clear on what he wants. Not enough examples to help you on some of the writing. Prof. does respond to emails.

Mr. Franco was a great teacher for English Comp II online. He wasn't clear on what the quizzes covered. Otherwise, he had the papers graded and returned quickly with great annotations. He was quick to respond to my emails and was approachable during his office hours. If you have solid writing skills don't hesitate to take Comp II online with him.

Professor Franco is the greatest english teacher I have ever had. He is intelligent, fair and diligent. He answers emails quickly and grades papers in just a couple of days. The online class requires regular work, but none of it is too hard.

I had him for two online classes for the Summer of 2013. He was wonderful. I feel like I learned a lot, yet the assignments were not huge. I was able to complete the weekly assignments with time to spare most weeks!

I took Mythology online and actually enjoyed it. Professor Franco was very organized and clear on assignments and quizzes. He gave good feedback on the two major projects due in this course, and wasn't a tough grader. He also seems to have a good sense of humor. I would definitely recommend taking classes from him.

I have taken quite a few online classes, but his are by far my favorites. I am taking mythology with him and he is extremely clear of what he expects of you. Even on an online class, I can tell that he enjoys what he does by how much effort he puts into it. This is my second class with him online and I love every minute of it.

I really enjoyed his class. I've dropped Comp II 3 times out of fear of failing. Prof. Franco gives great feedback and helps you to clarify your paper.. Gives extra points for going to the Comm Lab:) (Use them they're great!) Took the class for intersession and loved it.

Very by the syllabus but not a rigid professor. He is very open to ideas and discussion and new and different viewpoints for topics. Modern and motivational Professor Franco is someone I'd recommend to an advanced writer as well as someone who might not know what a comma splice is.

I had professor Franco for an intersession class. Even though this class has a condensed time frame, all of the work required was achievable if time was managed right. Franco's humorous comments kept everyone's attention throughout the class.

I have taken professor Franco for multiple online classes classes and he teaches well in all of them. He gives great feedback on assignments and responds quickly to emails. He is on your side and wants you to do well. Grading is straightforward. No assignments can be submitted late.

I had mythology online with Prof. Franco. It was an 8 week course, so there was x2 the workload. It was lot of homework, but I had fun reading the myths he assigned. The class is fairly simple if you are able to invest your efforts into the reading quizzes and writing assessments. You will have to work hard for your grade though.

Took the 8 wk online course and it was a lot of work. If you hated English because of the writing, you will hate this class. I felt like I was writing more than I was in English comp 2. As long as you follow all the instructions and answer every question, you will pass with an A. Only take the 8 week class if you really need to. Hes a good teacher.

Took his 8 week online critical thinking class. Only annoying thing is he gives same generic response to each student. Copy and pastes his feed back and just changes the student name. Overall super easy class. Discussions and papers every week.

Very straightforward class. His assigned work is simple you just have to devote the time to it. There is no reason anyone shouldn't get an A in this class. He doesn't accept late work so be diligent. You should expect do spend around 2 hours a week on this class.

Do not get behind in this class by any means. I know life happens, but this professor has zero tolerance for late work.

Professor Franco was by far the most straightforward professor I've had. I hate when professors are not organized with online courses, but Franco was far from unorganized. He has clear due dates and communicates well with the class. One thing I would say is to not get too far behind in this course because it's a little hard to catch up.

Professor Franco was very organized and had set topics for each day. Even went over stuff in class that was not online. His lectures spanned the class time and weren't a waste of time. His phone only went off once in class only because it started playing Harry Styles which I thought was funny. He makes sure you understand assignments for the class.

I got sick with the flu towards the end of the class and he was extremely kind and let me have time to get assignments in. He is very friendly and funny. His lectures make sense and he is approachable with questions. I would definitely take his class again!

Professor Franco keeps the class engaging with his humor, though he can be a tough grader on essays. Attendance is mandatory, but the workload is manageable if you stay on top of it. unstuck ai is a great study aid for this course.
