What's not to like. Excellent knowledge of and enthusiasm about his subjects make classes informative and often provocative. Take whatever classes of his that you can.

hmm. Took an internet course with him and wasn't so sure about it. It was his first course though so I'm sure he'll get better at it as time goes on.
Coolest professor on campus!
Great professor, just can be a little confusing sometimes, mostly on test questions, but he makes up for it by recognizing it and being very fair and helpful. One of my favorite profs, for sure. Provocotive, but very cool; a must-take.
he is a really fun professor, even though half the class usually misses his jokes. he's flexible, but never controlled by the class. he is always willing to help, but usually forgets to.
He is a great guy, however he is not the best teacher. His test are very hard, so if you have to take the class study really hard and read the book material, boring as it may be.
The class was difficult and fast paced, but he is a wonderful professor ... Keeps the class light and entertaining ..
One of the best professors on campus!
I love him as a professor and friend. He is such a gifted teacher.

Funny. Love the accent. And definitely learned alot in that class.
I liked Dr. Fuller a lot. He was wacky and made you think about things from a different perspective. He made class fun and was available for help, even though he was writing his dissertation when I had him. Will make you think.
It is hard to grade a teacher when they're not there. He would cancel class all of the time. The bad thing is that he would never tell us in advance. We would find out when we got there and after we waited 20 minutes. We didn't even make it through Romans.
One of the best teachers on campus in my opinion. He is challenging but is a great teacher. Take him!
Fuller is a great proffessor. I really learned a lot in his class, and I recomend anyone to take him.
I love Dr. Fuller, he is very helpful. You can come by his office anytime and he will help you with whatever you need, if quizes do poorly in the class he adds extra points. His teaching method is clear and understandable, hes the man!
Fulla was a wee lil man and a wee lil man was he. He stood upon the Dixon stage for his class he wanted to see.
He is a great teacher, made u question your beliefs and offered a few different perspectives to help you find your own answers.
He's so funny and he is also knowledgeable. I already love the class because he is the man. I've heard great things about his teaching and his personal life. Also, my mom loves him!
really cares for students. Provides knowledge without being elevated to a level of misunderstanding. REAL
I wasn't overly thrilled with this prof. He did add points to the quizzes and exams but it was because most people did badly. I liked the idea of taking NT but now I am dreading OT. I hope it isn't as boring or confusing as this class has been.
I don't understand why everyone likes him so much. He talks to himself on stage and is usually inaudible. He gave free points after tests just to get everyone's grade point average up. Honestly, I liked his grad student Kevin better than his teaching. Overall Dr. Fuller was just not what he should have been for teaching this class.
Dr. Fuller mumbles and talks too fast on stage; making it hard to understand. The notes that he gives are not helpful when it comes time for the tests (which are very difficult!) The grad. students were better teachers than he was! He gave curves though but that is only because everyone did so badly on his tests. DONT TAKE HIM!
Fulla as a person is remarkable. Ridiculously hilarious and so handsome. Unfortunately his teaching methods didn't completely coincide with my learning methods. Read EVERY word in the textbook (which is hell). Somehow I got a B but mainly because of his curves. Texts aren't really like notes, I don't really know where they come from.
The best historical and critically accurate professor on this campus. Extremely helpful after hours, friendly, and loves talking to students over coffee. Very knowledgable professor. If you take notes, you will make an A in his class. Plain and simple.
Dr. Fuller is one of those professors that transcends all sense of excellence. He is by far one of the most knowledgable scholars on campus, and his mannerism make the class enjoyable. I learned a great deal about the NT and I wish I could have him again for another class...he's also a cool guy to hang out with after class...oh the fuller!
Dr. Fuller was easily one of the best and most knowledgable teachers that I have ever had. Yes, sometimes his notes get a little unorganized but you can go and talk to him any time of the day. Just shoot him an email, and he loves to talk with students. The below comments are a result of freshman students taking thier first college class...
Tough but knowlegable. Humorous and concerned with how you do in his class. however if you dont enjoy the large class//lecture setting then consider someone else.
I am going on 8 class with the Doc. His courses are invigorating, his scholarship is stupendous, his character is unique and warm...his coffee is the best! As a friend and erudite scholar, Dr. Fuller has been the impetus for my continuing education in Biblical Studies.
Test aren't really relevant to lecture. He is always late to class. However after 15-30 mins. of waiting for him to actually show up to class, he is a great lecturer.
I personally think he sucks! he does weekly quizzes, and You have to read so much material for these quizzes that have only 10 questions. Sometimes, you may have to read up to 20 pages in the textbook just for a 10 question quiz. Attendance is also mandatory as he says a lot of things(which he will test on during EXAMS) that are not in the textbook
fuller cannt teach. hes test are over the smallest of details and the class average is about a 60 or less on each test. it takes him at least 3 weeks to grade anything and he just puts the grade on angle never showing u the test. stay away from fuller!!
The class was very large and the grad students were given many responsibilities that they seemed unprepared for. The lecture is great, and he gives lots of extra credit. But, if you are organized, the lack of clear guidelines can be frustrating.
Dr. Fuller is a smart man. He knows everything about what he's teaching. His classes are an hour and fifteen minutes but they dont start until 15 or 20 minutes into it. Lectures arent boring for such a big class, and he's funny. Make sure you read for quizzes, and study notes for tests. He doesnt expect perfection, so he adds points.
Professor Fuller's class was one of these best and most informative courses I have taken in my college career. It goes down like Bourbon, it burns at first but then settles into a slight warmth and into a smooth finish that is to be enjoyed connoisseurs alike. He cares for his students and will never leave them hanging with difficult questions...
I like Fuller, I just don't like his teaching. He teaches more of the historical part of the Old/New Testament rather than the actual content. His test are completely random in my opinion. Make sure you read for the quizes he gives every class..but he gives LOTS of extra credit points. I LOVED my GA's They were HYSTERICAL!!!
very good professor, loved his class, made me actually interested in the Old Testament for a change, take his small classes like 30 students and under because he can be a bit monotone be he knows he is and breaks it up every once in a while....really great guy
Class of 200 students, hard to focus with monotone voice. Tests are extremely difficult, but book quizzes help. Good guy, probably better with a smaller class
I loved Dr. Fuller, but if you need a lot of help this is not the class for you. He hardly returns emails and isn't in his office very often. He is unorganized, but makes up for it with extra credit. Lots of quizzes, but drops 2-3. There was never a day where we stayed for the whole class time, even after starting late. I loved Dr. Fuller!
I loved him. My friends and I looked forward to this class ever week. Fuller is so funny and kept the class interested. May times he would be busy and just let the class out early which was wonderful! But his exams were HARD! So be prepared to study.
when reading other comments, remember that message, 110, and 111 students are freshmen in thier first or second semesters. many complaints may be grounded in inexperience. Dr. Fuller is an amazing teacher, though if you like immaculately ordered notes you may get frustrated.
Here is the thing about Fuller: he is a good guy and teacher. His faults may by mumbling, disorganization, and he is confusing at times. But he is so helpful all you need to do is ask. My piece of advice is when taking the power-point notes quickly and then write down what he says; that is what will best help you understand the material.
I had Dr. Fuller for the Message of the New Testament. I learned a lot in his class, and it changed the way I read and understand the bible in a positive way! He seemed somewhat unorganized, but he really knew the material. Tests consisted of multiple choice, true/false, and matching. He has study sessions before each exam.
He was truly one of the worst teachers I've ever had. Crazy disorganized, late to every class, we never went the full time. Sometimes I liked this, but other times it was frustrating because I felt like we didn't learn what we were supposed to learn. He completely forgot about a study session, and the study guide told us absolutely nothing.
In all honesty, for the sake of new students... Do not take Mr. Fuller. I have took other Bible classes and he is the WORST teacher I have ever had in my college experience. Incredibly disorganized, can't understand half of what he says, he rambles in his lectures, tests are 100+ questions, his TA's aren't helpful, never e-mails back, etc...
Dr. Fuller is not a bad professor by any means and he's brilliant. He's a bit disorganized and kinda scatterbrained. It was hard to keep up with him and take notes.
Dr. Fuller is brilliant, but he's incredibly scatter brained and unorganized. However, his extra credit slightly makes up for this.
Is a little soft spoken, which isn't great in a lecture hall of 75-100 students, but an overall good teacher. Gives away points like they're water.
Easy class to do well in. Don't really pay attention to his power points though because they are just outlines. Write down exactly what he says, show up to his study sessions, and actually study and you will definitely do really well. Also, his jokescomments he makes are pretttty funny.
He's the nicest person... However, he can be all over the place and the tests are really hard to study for and take. He'll give you a ton of extra credit. Go to the study sessions, definitely. His classes are never boring.
Hilarious, but a man who knows the Bible inside and out, one of the best professors in the SOR at lee. I enjoyed his class, you do the work and you will pass. It can be confusing and at times, he can gives lectures that are all over the place, but a wonderful man and professor.
Dr. Fuller is a great man outside of class. Unfortunately, his teaching skills lack the quality I've come to expect at Lee. His tests are impossible (with material he never covered), he did not provide a complete syllabus,+ he wouldn't meet with me outside of class. Lectures are scattered and very hard to follow. Gives extra credit if you're there.
The structure of the class goes like this. Read chapter, quiz on chapter, take notes, repeat, exam, repeat. The quizzes are literally the main points of the reading. Very easy. Exams are more difficult, but extra credit helps a lot. Plus he genuinely tries to make class more entertaining (He knows it can be boring). I'd say take him.
A super nice guy, but would never take his class. If you know religion very well, then you'll be okay. But if not, you will not learn or be helped much in this class. Fuller is a genius which also means he doesn't know how to relate/teach to others. Quizzes are easy (based on reading), tests are impossible (based on very scattered lectures).
He is an amazing person, but he can be a bit confusing when he lectures, but he tries to keep the lectures interesting. He gives tons of extra credit just for showing up to class.
Dr fuller is the man. My favorite professor in the sor. Super caring and incorporates humor into the class & his lectures. Take him for new & Old Testament!!! It wasn't unnecessarily hard like a lot of others. I really enjoyed it.
Although Dr. Fuller is not very organized, he truly cares about his students. You will learn and pass with ease.
I found his class to be interesting, and overall I found him to be a commendable guy, but he was the most unorganized professor I've ever had. He waiting until the last minute for study guides, units were not open on time, ect. It was very frustrating to complete the course . We did our part as a class, but he showed little interest in doing his.
Dr. Fuller... what a guy. He's literally a walking meme. But a good one. He genuinely cares about his students, and I am glad I took his class. If you take his class, you will be exposed to a lot of random funny videos and a lot of "VHAT DO YOU MEAN FULLAH."
He is such a good teacher you just have to take good notes.
Lots of lectures. Compared to other bible professors, Dr. Fuller is probably the easiest. Study for the test by going to the study sessions and reading your notes. Make sure you read for the quizzes.
He is great, really cares about his students.
Amazing!
He's a great professor and genuinely cares about his students. The class is easy but I learned more than expected.
I love Dr. Fuller! He's great and cares about his students. You do have to study to pass his tests, but if you go to study sessions with the study guide you will for sure pass. His quizzes are super easy, but you will need the book in order to pass. I would take him again if I was an SOR major.
Fuller is great, easy class but good content.
Professor Fuller is amazing! He gives extra credit out like it's going out of style, he has a study session before EVERY test where he basicaly gives you exactly what you need to know for the test! 10/10 recommend!
Fuller is one of my very favorite professors. So much extra credit. Easy exams. Go to the lectures, but DO NOT MISS THE STUDY SESSIONS. Literally, he tells you everything you need to know at those. He has a rad taste in music and makes lectures interesting. He's the greatest. I took him for Old and New Testament. 10/10 recommend.
If you take someone else having the chance to take fuller, you're not thinking straight
I was extremely disappointed in this class. There is SO MUCH time wasted during class with him trying to entertain the students. It was funny at first, but its just annoying now. He also talks a lot about political things that have nothing to do with the Bible. The notes are unorganized and this was an overall terrible experience.
Class was nice and easy. Tests are based off of his power points, which he doesn't post to moodle, so come to class. The lectures were also pretty interesting, and this ended up being my favorite class of the whole semester.
I adore Dr. Fuller. He's a blessing to this earth.
First half of the semester I didnt really care for him. But as the semester went farther along, he got more personable and didnt try so hard to be our friends. Once he stopped doing that, he was so much funnier.
Dr. Fuller is extremely intelligent. You can tell he loves what he does. I was in a huge class and I did not enjoy it. It was crowded and very hard to pay attention. It made me not enjoy his lectures. I think he is a great person, but sometimes he said things that I couldn't hear.
Hilarious, good speaker, kind, willing to help, adapts to your needs... he makes going to class enjoyable.
Professor Fuller is definitely a character. His class is super easy: Just show up, do the Breakout papers, and go to the review sessions before the exams. His review sessions give you all the exam answers. His sense of humor is kind of weird, and involves a lot of Evanescence. Solid choice if you want an easy theology class.
Good professor.
Dr. Fuller is hilarious. Love the guy. He does go on tangents every now and again, but it makes the material more fun. His TAs grade everything, so get to know them.
I really enjoyed this class. Fuller made it easy to learn the material and did it in a fun way.
Passionate about his field and makes the topic interesting. Very good at explaining questionable topics and making things clear. Legendary stories give good breaks to what can seem like long lectures at times. For these reasons I 100% recommend especially for non religion majors and religion majors alike.
By far the prof you want for Old and New Testament. Awesome guy who tries to make the mandatory class interesting for non bible/religion majors. Also from any other teacher his class by far has the BEST EXAMS.
Fuller is my first and only choice for my bible classes. Hes funny, nice, and will sometimes give out free points. Overall I feel like I learned a lot from him.
I love fuller! I never would want to take a different teacher for Old and New Testament. Seriously wish he taught the other religion classes.
Dr. Fuller is one of my favorite professors. He is SO funny and always keeps you interested in the lectures. Going to his class was always one of the highlights of my day. He teaches very fast so be sure to TAKE NOTES OF ALL THE SLIDES. but if you pay attention and do that you will pass with an A. Get to know him, you won't regret it.
I LOVED Dr. Fuller He is so passionate about what he's teaching. his lectures are very in depth and he makes sure to add a quick joke for nearly every slide. There is a great deal of material that has to be covered, so you'll definitely want to come to class or you will miss a lot! He has a million TA's so you will have help everywhere.
WHATTA MAN. I love Dr. Fuller. I've had him for Hebrew, and his classes have been the bright point of my semesters. He is funny, kind, and loves his students on a personal level. Dr. Fuller allows corrections on exams and wants everyone to do well. He can be a little scattered and falls behind on some things, but he's still a hero to his pupils!
Dr. Fuller is a different type. Starts class late & lets out early a lot, cancels quizzes & gives free 100s. The TAs aren't always the friendliest (SOME of them), so just do your assignments the way they're supposed to be done & you'll be good. The quizzes are directly from the readings, so do the readings, but quizzes & exams are all easy.
He is the best religion professor
Fuller is an interesting professor. He throws a lot of information into his lectures and you really have to sort through what's important to know. Didn't feel like I learned much from his class, but he grades very forgiving. He gives out free 100s and extra points all the time.
Though a little odd at first, Dr Fuller is an amazing prof. He is very gracious and offers a lot of extra credit and tends to end early or cancel class often. He has very interesting lectures and is very openminded. I would highly highly recommend him for New or Old Testament.
Dr. Fuller is a solid professor at Lee. I am taking him for BIBL 111 next semester, and I am looking forward to it. I will note this, however: people on this campus will iterate that he is an easy professor -- while true in relation to homework and quizzes, he provides very challenging exams.
He will lecture every class and you will shop on Amazon, and it is great. Every other bible professor is so much work and he requires none. His tests are hard and almost never align with the study guides. If you actually pay attention and take notes on the lectures you will do great. If you dont, you will skim by. Hes weird, but the best option
Dr. Fuller is a pretty good professor. He makes a lot of strange jokes and his lectures can get a little boring, but he does make the class easy. Just study your notes for the exams which are all multiple choice and read the textbook for the quizzes which are also multiple choice. He is also often willing to extend deadlines and give extra credit.
Dr. Fuller was great. He made the course material interesting and as if it were worth learning about. I was surprised by a lot of things and was looking forward to taking him for OT, but ended up transferring. Textbooks are accessible online, and he is super easy to reach. Be prepared to take lots of notes- super lecture heavy.
I have now had Dr. Fuller for both New and Old Testament. I really enjoyed him. Surprisingly enough, I found his NT course to be more challenging, but they are generally of the same level. I am going to miss Dr. Fuller quite a lot. He is by far the easiest professor for Messages. Take him!
My all time favorite professor here at Lee. He is so funny and his lectures were not boring. He always gives a good study guide and offers a study session to attend as well. Highly recommend him.
Professor Fuller is certainly a character. I did enjoy his class but it was difficult to follow along in his lectures. He gets off topic a lot and is very unorganized. Other than that he is very flexible and understanding.
Prof. Fuller tells a lot of jokes during lecture and interrupts these lectures often with stories. Fuller is scatterbrained. He does not plan ahead and he made Final Exams a mad scramble as we only covered the Gospels and not all of the New Testament as he said before. Listen in lecture and take notes and you'll pass easily. Very little homework.
I LOVE Dr. Fuller! He plays music videos before class, has a heart of gold, lets class out early, gives clear study guides for the exam, LOTS of extra credit, gives out hilarious/random prizes, and made the class easy. Attendance isn't required, but it is graded, and exams are straight from his lectures. Seriously, take Fuller. Best decision ever.
I had Fuller for both New and Old Testament. He is very funny but can be hard to follow because he is so scattered. He is extremely caring of his students and loves to chat with us. I love him as a person, but I feel like I did not learn very much. Not very clear on deadlines. There were two or three exams and a few readings and quizzes.
I took Dr. Fuller for both NT and OT. He is hands down my favorite prof. There are 2-3 exams including the final and usually they are taken online (all multiple choice). He is super kind and understanding and makes sure everyone who wants to do well in his class does. Super big on extra credit too. Take him!
He is an easy A, he gives you a few quizzes but not a lot because he always forgets to upload them. He arrives about 10 minutes late to class and is very laid back. His tests are straight out of the content in his slides and he is super patient. He also calls off class a lot.
I have had Dr. Fuller for multiple Bible courses. Classes are mostly lecture heavy, but he creates a laid back environment. There isn't much homework, usually because he forget to upload it onto Moodle. Very scatterbrained and often late for class, but genuinely one of the kindest professors in the STM!
Really nice and funny teacher
Fuller is an easy professor just show up to class and take notes from his PowerPoints. He gives a lot of extra points for literally anything. There are quizzes from the textbook but as long as you read what was assigned for it, you'll do good. The exams are what was on the PowerPoints, and they are not that hard, just take notes in class.
Dr. Fuller was a good professor, he does a "study session" during class before each exam (You only have 3) which was a little confusing to me but, if you go to class and pay attention, you'll do good. He gave extra points and free grades sometimes.
I just can't agree with him on anything
LOVE dr fuller he is awesome
Professor Fuller is an engaging, though sometimes scattered, instructor. Attend class, read the materials, and you'll do well. I found Unstuck AI helpful for quick review alongside the study sessions. Overall, a rewarding experience.
Did not agree with him at all, does not abide by traditional biblical interpretation.
Dr. Fuller was hilarious, such an awesome and caring guy. I didn't care if I agreed or not, I'm not at this college to agree on religious stance, I'm here to get a degree. He was great, he cares, and he's great if you have questions to ask and always gives extra credit of some sort. Soemtimes free grades, he's an awesome professor
Very chill professor, very little work, but tests were challenging. Would recommend for New Testament.
