Would take again

Gabriel is one of my favorite history professors I have taken. Though there is a lot of reading, he tries to get free textbooks from the Internet Archive and others. Your grade consists of Midterm (20%), Research Paper (20%), Final (25%), Participation (20%), and Book Review (15%). Exams are based on books and in-class lectures, so attend class.
