Dr.G is freakin awesome! He is a genious and if you make an effort, he will pass you. He's very thorough in his lectures and is good at explaining things. if he happens to like your class then he will tell some awesome stories too. Im for real, no trickery or chicanery involved. Take his class!

He is a very good physics teacher. He makes this difficult subject approachable and managable. He breaks down the problems in a very basic way, and makes his exams based on his notes. Attendance is important to his classes, because his tests come right from his lecture. I felt that I learned a great deal from him, and accually enjoyed physics.

Study hard and you'll be ok. Everything is taken from the notes, so write down everything he says and memorize all the diffent types of classifications. He loves to ask you to list say, all the layers of the skin or all kinds of joints, then have you give an example and a characteristic. He's very odd but he means well, it's always interesting.

he has a not so typical style of teaching but he gets across! It's an easy A if you don't miss a lecture and study your notes. A very smart teacher.

What an awsome instructor!! He is funny, and entertaining. I learned soo much just from listening to his lectures. He is very smart and deffinitly knows what he is talking about. We didnt use the text book at all. He is more concerned with how much you learned than your actual grade. I highly recomend him if you have a good sence of humor!!

His test are very easy 50 question multiple choice. Make sure you show up for all lectures and study your notes and its a easy A. You really dont even need the book. VERY short labs. usually about 20 min. Hes a pretty funny guy as long as you dont get offended easily. Hes a good prof.

You have to take good notes. I didn't even buy the text book, not necessary. Review your notes on a regular basis and you should be good to take any test. Very sarcastic, a little insane, great professor.

Dr. G Rocks. Great teacher who likes to have fun with his students. You will learn a ton of info from him. Take good notes, go to class and study your notes till your brain hurts, then study some more. All test are on the notes he covers in class. If you need help, ask him. He will take the time to make sure you understand.

This is a very easy professor. I took the class lightly in the beginning and messed over the first 2 exams, but I finally buckled down and did what I was suppose to do and got A's on my last 3 exams. He grade on a curve and he's funny. I would recommend this class to anyone.

Great professor! He is very interesting and knowledgeable. His exams are strictly from lecture notes. There is never a boring moment in his presentation. He will hold your attention. He's quite an animated character! Labs are ususally about an hour long. He is very fair in grading. If you can get into his class-consider yourself lucky!

Not good, he has a good personality but thats not going to help your grade, honestly he should retire, he forgets so much, and his lab tests were labeled wront half the time. 75 PAGES of notes for 2 sections, the test only have 50 questions, no idea what to study!!!

What are you talking about? Really people maybe you should study. You took a 8 week summer class. He is a great teacher very helpful if you ask. Best advice for any A&P make friends with classmates. I loved him didn't do so hot on the first 2 exams but figured it out and shloud get an A. I wish people would grow up and learn this is college.

he isn't that bad. yes lots of notes but study you'll be fine. it was an 8 week class that meet for 7 to 1 what wld you expect. he is a little strange but he is a smart man. just know after you get to know him you'll love him. IF you don't have a sense of humor take someone else this class is not for you. he will help if you ask.

Love him. Great guy, we drove him crazy with all our questions. If you don't have a sense of humor DON'T take him. If you handle an adult learning environment, DON'T take him. Study hard, take notes and communicate with him.

I had a hard time getting used to him, but he knows a ton of information and he helps explain it in a way that it "sticks". He offers help if you ask. Lots of notes so I was overwhelmed with what to study but I learned a TON! Lab was great! He is different but very smart.

Incredible prof. This guy knows his stuff and will go out of his way to help you learn it, if you come to class and participate. If your not a real student don,t bother, he has no compassion for slackers. If you want to actually learn this is the place for you.

Tons of note taking, but you will finish this class knowing more than you ever thought you would about Biology. Very sarcastic sense of humor, hilarious as long as he hasn't singled you out. A little hard to approach but very helpful.

He singles me out but this is the sec class I've had with him. I think he is great at first if you dont know his personailty you might be thrown off. But he is very smart and means no harm by it. You shld take it has a comp. because he knows you and that say's a lot. i wish he taught more classes.

Funny guy, has a big mouth but a great instructor. A&P1. He had a scheduling conflict (total misunderstanding, student was out to get him!) 1/2 way through the semester. Gave students that were TRYING a A or B, regardless of grades in the class for the trouble he had caused us. Stand up guy.

Great Professor! Has a great sense of humor if you're not emotionally unstable. Tests are purely from the notes, textbook is almost unnecessary. Makes class a lot of fun and very interesting. I would definetly recommend him if you can take a joke.

I have completed 3 of Dr G's BIO courses, all with straight A's. This is not saying I'm a genius - but Dr. G. makes the intangible very 'real'. He is a genius! really - not joking. Some are put off by his humor, but If you can't take the heat - stay out of the kitchen!! I would take any course he offers, just because he is such a great Prof.

He is a great and extremely intelligent person! Those of you whom complain about your grades need to step up and STUDY YOUR NOTES!! All exams are based on his lectures. This is not mommy's tutoring session - You are adults now! Dr.G has his own flavor of comedy - be prepared to be tested. I am a singled out student, it keeps me on my toes, funny!!

Dr.G knows and shares his vast real world knowlege with a flair of humor I've not experienced. At first I was thinking WHAT? this guys out there! NO -Listen to him, open your mind and be a sponge! Dr. G is very crazy. He admitted this on the first day of class. But he is a great teacher and explains everything well. I highly recommend taking him but not if you don't have a sense of humor. Thank you Dr. G!

He is very laid back. Jumps around a little. I wouldn't even buy the book, he pretty much goes directly off the notes. Very relaxed, easy going guy. He is very helpful if you need it.

I know this sounds so lame but reading all the great things about Dr. G made me tear up!!! He is one of the best people I have ever met. I'm so glad I took a and p 1 and 2 with him. He's very blunt with a crazy humor. He just wants everyone to do great and he will help you out! His tests were all based off his lectures. You will learn a lot.AMAZING

I Honestly cannot believe that Dr G doesn't have higher scores. He is HANDS DOWN the best professor I have ever had. If you study your notes and attend SI session, I don't know how you could not get at least a B, if not an A. I had him for A&P 1&2, wish I had had him for micro and will try to take Algebra from him in the fall if he is back.

Excellent prof. He will sometimes go into greater detail than needed and you may feel like there is too much to study, but tests are very straight forward and hit mostly the big topics. Attend class, study notes, pay attention, and you'll learn a lot while getting an easy A.

This class is the easiest biology class I have taken, and I'm a Biology major, so I've taken quite a few. He likes to joke around in class too, so it's not bad.I didn't buy the book, just go to class, take good notes, and study your notes for the exams. SI sessions with Gloria right before the exams were VERY helpful too! Got an A with no problem!

Dr. G. is a very knowledgeable, awesome instructor! He's very clear and concise in his style of teaching. Be prepared to take notes because he doesn't use powerpoint or give out handouts and you really don't need a book for this class. Exams are 100% from the notes. Study the notes, attend the SI sessions before the exam and you will get an A.

Very fair grading.If he did not cover it he will remove it from the tests. Get a tape recorder so you can listen later to correct any mistakes in your notes.I like his class because he has an SI. You get better grades when instructors have SI's. I highly recommend his classes. He is very up to date in his field. He will keep you interested.

I took Dr. G for A and P 1 and 2 in the same semester. He is amazing at his job and does everything he can to pass everyone with an A. Don't buy the book unless you want to reference it because he doesn't use it. An easy easy A if you put forth a small amount of effort!

If you go to the SI sessions and study the study guides, there should be no way you could fail the test. The tests are directly from the notes the teacher gives. He does go fast and you have to write everything down so its not a bad idea to bring a recorder. But there's no surprises with him which is really nice. I didn't even crack the book.

He is an amazing teacher! He makes everything fun and simple. He's forgetful sometimes and a little disorganized, but that's not a big deal to me. He's one of the best teachers I've ever had.

Easy A. Come to class, be prepared to write a lot, and definitely go to the SI sessions. If you do nothing else, you should still do well.

Dr. G is a fabulous instructor, however, he is only an easy A depending on who your SI is. Most of the SI's are great. One of them is not, and you will soon find out who that is if you have her. She rarely shows up and honestly likes to make the class harder than it needs to be. Go to the review sessions before the tests.

DON’T take Dr G’s class if you don’t have any sense of humor! I found him Hilarious and I loved coming to his lectures! Yes you have to take your own notes but you are a college student! I made flash cards for each exam from his SI assistant’s study guides and it paid off! If you WANT an A, you’ll have no problem getting one with Dr. G! Love Him!

Great teacher who actually teaches! He doesn't use Power Point, which is fabulous! He makes it interesting, give you a lot of information and almost all of it is on the test. The SI sessions are very helpful! Take him if you need to take micro!!

This is my 2nd classes I have taken with Dr. G and have gotten a 4.0 in both classes!! He is such a great teacher. The way he sets up Lectures makes the material all flow PERFECTLY together! He is funny, nice, and very understanding and willing to help if you have any problems.

Exams are easy. His notes are all handwritten so you must show up to lectures. There are 2 labs exams. He sometimes gets confused when his SI corrects him. He sometimes forgets what he is teaching. I would recommend him for this class.

He is really an awesome teacher! He is funny during lecture and makes the class easy to understand. His lectures do go into a lot of detail that isn't needed for exams.

Great instructor, but I'm glad he has such a great SI to clear things up for me that I didn't understand. Make sure you go to every class and every lab and pay attention and you will do just fine.

Dr.G is an amazing professor. You do not need a book for this class although it helps in supplementing his material. His exams are straight from the notes and are often easy if actually studied. His SI however is not that good. If she isn't on vacation she is often late and provides a rushed review of course material. I love Dr.G without current SI

Very easy A if you put in some effort. Do not buy any of the books you will never need them. If you copy down his notes verbatim that is all you need to study. a voice recorded is recommended if you write slow. He jokes around and makes fun of students but he's cool about it. If you are really sensitive you may be offended. He's a good guy.

Consider learning style. If you like structure and organization, most likely frustration will come with this class. Dr G. has lot of knowledge, goes deep in some areas, but not giving sense of basics as a whole. Lab: a list is read and your on your own. Most say don't buy book, but you might want it, to fill in the blanks? 2630.. Not taking 2640

Dr. G is probably one of the smartest guys I know. He lectures the whole time and his tests are based off of his notes. He has the best sense of humor and jokes with everyone in the class which is why I love him. I wish every science teacher was like him.

Dr. Giangrande is the best professor I have ever had! His lectures are very clear and easy to follow. The tests are based right off of the notes, so if you study you'll be in great shape! Awesome professor!

All I have to say is Dr. G is the best professor at any of the OCC campuses. He says just enough about everything doesn't go into huge detail that makes things confusing. I love how he teaches it is alot of notes so be prepared. He doesn't teach off of powerpoint which is what I like. He's hilarious also, some get offended by his humor get over it.

Super sarcastic, hilarious professor. By far my favorite class yet. He called me the wrong name all semester and is fond of staring, but you just have to stare right back and he'll respect you. Gets a little confused sometimes but gives correct information 99% of the time. Fast note taking keeps things interesting. Great professor.
