Lab practicals can be overwhelming with so much material covered, so use HFCC's sciweb page and Dr. Karapetian's youtube vids. Quizzes are take-home. Don't be lazy and you'll get a A.

This class is supposed to be hard but with this professor it is really easy. His tests are so clear cut and they are directly from his notes. I did not open my book and I got an A. He is by far the easiest professor that I have had and I have taken over 50 credits here. Take him, you will not regret it. If I could I would take him for every class.

He's a phenomenal instructor. His exams are relatively easy as his lecture notes are on the exam. You do have to read, as it is a biology course. But overall, he's awesome!!

Best Bio Teacher At Hfcc Wants Everyone To Pass. He Is Very Helpful Whatever He Says Will Be On The Test WILL BE ON THE TEST!!! As Long As You Study You'll Pass.

If you don't attend class you won't do well. Essentially everything in lecture will be on the test and he never tries to trick you. Everything that will be on the test is laid out for you to study and if you do you'll do fine on the test. You can probably get away with not getting the book but it was very helpful for the drawings you'll need to do.

Takes a very complicated subject matter, and makes it easy because he provides notes for you. All you have to do is show up, study exactly what he tells you to study and you'll do well. I took this class during the accelerated summer semester and still got an A! offers lots of extra credit and an easy grader.

I didnt get the book, but he allowed us to use our book, notes, and printed power points on a few tests! Amount of material covered is daunting, accelerated content of Anatomy & Physiology made class difficult. Go to labs, and put in time to learn huge amount of material this class covers. Great teacher and EXTREMELY FAIR! Actually above fair. I took his Bio 134 anatomy and physiology class. He does have an accent but you get used to it and he thoroughly explains WHAT MATTERS on the test. Do the extra credit and participate. He literally tells you as long as you listen to him you will pass. I only purchased the lab manual. Easy A.

Mr. Irowa was great! Yes, the class is hard, its an accelerated course! You do have to read, study and work for it! Mr. Irowa does give extra credit to help you where you need it! In lab, he goes over all the materials that will be tested. I asked if I could record him and used that to study at home. I got an A+

Dr. Michael Irowa was one of the best professors I had. Hes always giving extra credit and on every lecture test he let us use one piece of paper as a cheat sheet back and fourth and he also let us use the assignment for that test. During lab he always goes over whats going to be on the test. At the end of class he will round your grade.

Lets you use a double sided cheat sheet for all exams. Lab exams are the only difficult part, but study and you should do well. Due to COVID, class moved online and we had lab and lecture exams online

Everything is laid out smoothly by the professor. There are weekly quizzes and gave us a couple opportunities for Ec. He like to do zoom meeting which are helpful but not mandatory and is he let me take my last lecture exam early since I was traveling. The guy is down to earth and I would definitely take him again.

Dr Irowa is the best! If you need to take anatomy then professor Irowa is the one! He really cares about his students and wants everyone to pass. Hes accessible outside of class and will answer any questions you have. He also gives students extra credit at the end of the semester. Anatomy is a hard class but he makes it easy to understand.

At first I was worried about this class but now that I realized how hes such a good professor and hes funny also . It kind of felt like a lot of work since we had only 8 weeks to complete it . But trust me its easy and you will be able to pass this class.

Professor Michael is one of the best professors Ive ever known. His zoom classes are amazing and his exams are based on what he mentions on zoom. Highly recommend!

Hes the best professor at HFC and makes everything easy.. everything is organized and there are alot of helpful resources and notes that can help you understand the subject. Just do everything on time and do the extra credit quiz at the end of the semester it should help you!! I would take him again if he had another class

Dr. Irowa was a great teacher, even though this class was tough because it was a 8 week class, he understood and tried to work with you the best he could, i will definitely take him again.

Easy test and quizzes

Hes the best like I dont know what else to say I took him for the summer semester 8 weeks and by far my favourite bio teacher! I wish I can take him for future classes! Hes so respectful and relatable to his students tries to make it fun! Honestly easy A if you read everything is from the book you really cant fail!

This is good professor for biology classes

Professor air OWA was really sweet! His lectures we always to the point, there wasnt much homework but the work he asks assign was really helpful for the tests. He even made study guides for us to use on the test! �� 10/10 Quarantine Teacher

Professor Irowa is an amazing instructor, I will 1000% recommend him, take him you will not regret it, easy A definitely, he makes sure his student pass the class by making the course easy, I sure came in into that class worried cause I heard so much bad things about AP but came out of it, HAPPY. I wish he was teaching all my other classes (LOL) .

I took his 8-week class during the summer semester and he did a great job teaching the content in such a short span of time. He provides a lot of instructional videos, notes, and pre-recorded zoom videos to specify what will be covered on tests/practicals (I didn't really need the book). He responds to emails fairly quickly. Definitely recommend!

He's one of the best teachers I had in my life, he wants you to pass his class with a good grade. You will be lucky if you have him. His tests and quizzes are very clear and easy. At the end of the semester, he will give you a test for extra credit which means your grade will increase.

Prof Irowa is literally the best. He gives you everything you need to be successful in his class. Class with lab included was 10 quizzes, 3 lab exams, 5lecture exams, 5 discussion boards and a ton of extra credit! I wish he taught every bio class, definitely recommend; you will not regret.

Great teacher.

Dr. Irowa is a wonderful, thoughtful and awesome instructor! His PowerPoint and Zoom recordings were very helpful! He put a lot of thought into the material and made it easy to understand. If you watch the Zoom videos, he goes covers all the material for the Lab Practical's and quizzes.

The professor is good and gives open book lecture exams but the material is really hard to learn and that is not on the professors head at all, he tries his best to make sure you pass.

Dr. Irowa, is quite literally the best biology professor I've ever had the pleasure to learn from. He has a unique way of teaching that makes learning biology not only extremely beneficial, but also surprisingly interesting. An A in this class is very attainable if you're just willing to do the work he assigns, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Extremely knowledgeable, encourages student participation and question asking. This professor was seriously able to answer every single question asked concisely. It can be hard to tell when he's joking at times, but once you get to understand his sense of humor he is very funny. Overall an amazing professor.

I took bio 234 with dr irowa over an accelerated summer term. He is a funny, caring, sarcastic man. He cares about his students in a way ive not seen many care, if ur struggling he will work with you.

I took this class in an accelerated summer class. The Professor was amazing and emphasized very clearly what would be on the exam. He gave opportunities for extra credit. He really cares about his students and is willing to help whenever. Overall this Professor was amazing and the class was an easy A if u studied and listened to his lectures.

Anatomy & Physiology is one of my required courses. I really enjoyed Professor Irowa's class. He goes above and beyond to teach his students and help out with learning the material. Too add on he is very funny! I unfortunately did not get the opportunity to take the lab with him, so I highly suggest if you are able to, do so.

Professor rowa was the best option for this course! If you want to pass and actually understand the material, this class is for you! lectures might be long but he is very thorough & gives much examples to help you understand! It's an enjoyment he's hilarious. I would've loved to take him for BIO-234, but he's unfortunately not teaching the course.

I took this professor during the summer semester (7 weeks) so that was pretty accelerated. Felt nervous at first becuase 233 lots of material, but he made it super easy, he allowed cheat sheet during the exam. Funny and very knowledgeable. Sit in front, he has an accent, not too hard to understand but sometimes his voice is a little low.

Best professor at Henry Ford. He helps as much as he can and doesn't make you feel dumb when you ask questions. He doesn't try to trick you when it comes to exams. If he is teaching bio 234 I'm going to take him.

Oh my gosh easiest professor of my lifeeeeee. Everything in his presentations are on the test and I mean everything plus he literally gives you cheat sheets too, I kid you not you could pass this class with your eyes closed. If you don't take him you'll regret it for the rest if he life. Chill guy also.

If you participate he will LOVE you genuinely even if you are wrong just atleast show him you are trying and he will have your back TRUST.
