Online Course. One of the best teachers at BC! So helpful and responded to emails quickly whenever I had questions and never left me hanging asking, "now what?" Doing the tax forms at the end was a little hard, but the payroll part was easy, especially if you're familiar with the software. Highly recommended! :)

If you fail any of Mr.Ivey's classes you are a bonehead. Listen, do your homework, ask questions and you pass. That easy. He is very helpful and there are no dumb questions. As hard as Assounting maybe, Ivey makes it seem as easy as addition and subtraction. If you fail this class its cause you never had no desire for college courses. No other teacher knows more about a subject,and makes it understandable for tthe rest of us.

Mr. Ivey is a wonderful professor. i have taken many of his classes and have enjoyed them. I am not a math star by any means and I got an A in a math class with him as my instructor. He is funny, sarcastic, good sense of humor. He is very clear and concise. I will keep taking his classes till I cant anymore.

Great professor! Would definitely take again. Tests are take home and he will go out of his way to help you with his extremely understanding attitude and helping teaching style. He will go over it until he knows you have learned the material. He always has super funny jokes and is very outgoing.

I took Mr. Ivey and if I had an option to take him for every business class, I would!.Mr. Ivey gives really clear lectures and if you don't understand, then he will explain. I took his class during the summer for BSAD B20 Introduction to Business. This professor is very helpful, straight forward. He gives you the option of finishing your work ahead of time if you want so you can stay ahead. Your grade reflects on the effort you put in. I would definitely take this professor again.

Even though this class won't transfer to Cal State, it will better prepare me for the class I was supposed to take for it to transfer. A lot of my peers are in this class due to having taken Professor Ivey for other classes. Easy going yet serious with doing the work correctly and will take time to go over the material until it is understood.

Professor Ivey is awesome. I learned a lot in his class for principles of organization class. He gives great feed back and there to help you as well. Do his assignments and attend class and you will be fine.

Payroll Accounting is a tricky subject, but this class is an easy A. It's kind of a joke because he basically does all the work for you during class. As long as you pay attention during class, you won't have trouble passing the class with at least a B.

I have never had a professor who made me want to attend class. And here I am in my 3rd semester and he's the only professor I've taken for all my courses so far !!

Very nice and helpful professor!

GREAT professor! Easy to follow instructions, step by step videos, helps you understand the material. Gives good feedback, homework is easy and not overwhelming. This was an online course and I needed a textbook for this class but he said you can use any version so it saved me some bucks! Test are not timed which is helpful for anxious students.

Professor Ivey is a great professor in my opinion. chapter homework and quiz due every week. No exams. Responds to emails fairly quick. Will be taking him until I receive my Bookkeepers cert.

Mike Ivey is the best teacher at BC hands down! I've had him for 4 classes and I just can't give him enough praise. He works with everyone and makes sure you understand the material. He uses Cengage, so you can buy a membership and all the books you need for the class will be included. There's just not enough space to say all the great things.
