He's really passionate about this subject. He's young, understanding, "with it" and laid back; also he's a gamer. He's traveled to different countries, so he speaks from experience. I'm really enjoyiing his class and he's a very good professor.

He has little idea of what he is doing. I personally feel that he needs to take more teaching classes because a lot of the time he goes off topic and teaches you useless information. He assigned an assignment over spring break which conflicted with my plans. Also, his exam was hard, he made little attempt to explain what he wanted ont the essay.

He is passionate about the subject, but unfortunately that doesn't translate to better performance. His lectures are interesting, but he doesn't always hit all of his main points, leaving students with not enough information for his exams. If it weren't for my previous classes, I wouldn't have done as well on the exam.

He's a young, smart, and energetic professor. If you show up to class, particapate a little bit, and do the assignments you will get an A, that simple. People who rated him negatively are the kinds of people who show up late and don't participate. I have taken him twice and I can tell you that he really cares and wants you to succeed.

Professor J is a really engaging teacher, and his passion for the subject shines through the lectures and make it a lot easier to remember the information. He does require class participation - so you really need to speak up to get your voice heard. The tests are easy though, since he goes over everything the week beforehand. Great teacher!

Very clear during lectures, very willing to help. If you have a conflict with your schedule, all you have to do is approach him and he's more than willing to find an alternative! Same goes with an exam score, if you're not happy with it, approach him after class, he's very willing to help you out! Fantastic professor.

Very passionate about the subject and willing to help. If you are not a great writer DO NOT take this class because there are some essays due. Professor J is really cool teacher. He's very passionate about what he's teaching. You take a lot of notes, but he'll only make you write down what you have to know. Don't spend money on the book (Gardner's) I didn't open it once so it was a waste of money. I would definitely recommend him as a professor.

Prof. Jahosky was fair and fun. The dialogue for class was interesting and easy to follow. If you do the work and follow the reading requirements and enjoy the learn you'll do great. The class is an easy A with just a little dedication to learning. I would definitely take another class from him (if I wasn't graduating this fall)!

Professor Jahosky is very passionate about the topic he teaches. Even though I got bored during his lectures, it didn't bother me much. There is a good amount of homework compiled into an "adventure map" and easy self-grade quizzes every unit. You can skip up to six classes and be fine (in syllabus)! AND DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK you don't need it!!!

I took east-west synthesis with Prof.J. Easy A since I did the homework and cultural experiences. Don't bother buying the book (it's a small book by Karen Armstrong) because you don't need it. He has a Christian bias and will spend eons talking during the Christian unit, but bear with it. He's a cool guy and time will fly in that class trust me.
