Very bad teacher. He gives hard tests and very uncooperative. He cannot teach at all. You have to study the whole course on your own, because he does not explain anything

He is extremely hard. Is a waste of time and money. You don't have to go to the classroom even if it isn't an online class. He bores you do death. He is too fast and don't care if you understand or not. His tests are very hard but he lowers the grade scale but don't even count on that. I don't even know how Pace won't get rid of him. He sucks..!!

This professor is sooo AWFUL!!! He seriously should not be teaching because he is ruining people's careers and wasting their money. He is most def. the WORST Professor I have ever encountered. He is also extremely rude to students. Pace's ranking will continue to drop as long as Kazlow is teach there. Avoid at alll cost. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

This is the worst prof i have had in my entire life. Disrespectful not helpful at all and didnt learn a thing in his class. It was online and he just sets up the class in the first week and then just leaves you with nothing but "I found it best if you work with the other students to get the answers not for me to give them to you. I HATE HIM

He is the worst one, I've taken. Online course, do nothing, learn nothing, waste time and money. He even refused to post the answers for the practice final. Bad.

I took him 3 times and failed because I needed the class for my program which I ended up failing out of because of this man. Unhelpful,dosent answer email or questions. Gives take home tests to study from but then the actual test he makes up from foreign text books.Online he is even worse never posts to blackboard,refuses to answer any questions

He doesn't care about students. Always insists we get help from our "peers". If that is so, we could use some student teachers rather than a real professor. Many people failed the course. I was LUCKY to even get a C. Fair grader but he needs to rethink his teaching style.

Poor and unprepared for class

WORST professor I ever took. He single handedly ruined my life. I cant graduate and he doesnt even care.. he has no caring bone in his body. he has a black cold heart. does not care about students and demands too much from students which is fine for professors that are good and teaches well but this professor didnt teach at all, what did he expect?

HE will not care about you, and he loves to fail students. This was basic statistics and he made it so much harder than it had to be. I learned statistics from statistics for dummies! his notes are a joke,he makes it look like rocket science, and his tests are very HARD and nothing like the quizzes. its like hes setting you to fail!

He is absolutely the worst I have ever encountered. Went to the Math lab for help and their advice was Drop and Drop him fast. I did and will take it at another school. He enjoys the fact that he makes it more difficult than it needs to be.

no matter how much i study, review, do the homework.. i still FAIL HIS TESTS.even if you do great on the quizzes they only count like homework and isn't ANYTHING like the test. unless u took math in ASIA or some other country or amazing school where they teach highly advanced math.. then your on the SAME BOAT as all of us "raters"

STAY AWAY. You will not learn a single thing from him. You better be ready to teach yourself everything. The textbook he requires is just as useless as he is. He requires you to buy or rent a program that he prefers to use. The take home quizzes aren't easy either.

If you are not good at math, then this class will be ridiculously hard for you. I study so much, and still fail most of his quizzes and tests. He's not very helpful and he teaches everything as if we are mathematicians. Plus, he doesn't give out extra credit. He marks you wrong on quizzes/tests for the dumbest things.

Do not take a class with this professor. He makes sitting in class unbearable. He does not explain anything clearly and the material is difficult to begin with. You will end up completely teaching yourself the entire semester. I devoted a lot of time for his class and it did not pay off. He ruined my GPA so if you care about your grades stay away!

This is the worst class ever. He uses statlab way too much, then on the exam you're left wondering what to do. Formula sheet is made for himself and completely useless. He also says you don't need to remember the formula because it's on the formula sheet which leaves you confused. His exams are all cumulative so make sure you drop the class.

This guy is an absolute joke. Makes the course 10x more difficult than it needs to be, and does a horrible job of getting his point across. Just puts random, useless problems on the board in no order, and gives no review sheets/prep for exams. Grades are the lowest I've ever received, and this is a course I already took in high school!

Attending class does not help & in fact confuses you more. Must read the book although he tests more than the book teaches. Often wastes class time teaching things he later tells us are useless. Tests are impossible. Started out with a class of 40 students and by the end had only 16 bc most people dropped. Gives 8 hrs of hw a week. Unhelpful &yells

I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET TAKING THIS CLASS! OUR TEST AVERAGES ARE LIKE A 40! No extra credit, nothing, our whole class is failing. Seriously, unless you are a math genius that needs no help, DO NOT TAKE THIS!!!! Worst decision of my academic career was to take this class.

Worst human being in the world. He doesn't care if you are learning he only cares if he is doing a good job at failing the class. If your class average is a 50 should't that show you something about your teaching style? I would recommend taking another Professor who actually cares about teaching you statistics. Kazlow is NOT one of them.

I really don't understand how this man is still teaching? He made my GPA go down tremendously. Also, if you want to learn information that you don't ever need to know during your college career, yes, go and take him. He makes this course harder than it should be. I do not recommend to ever set foot in his class.

Drop out before you take him... Opening line first day of class was "you probably know more about stats than I do." The absolute worst. Does not teach, spends lecture time babbling about nothing and expects you to teach yourself a subject he and I quote "Has never taken or learned before." STAY AWAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!

This is beginners Stats so it is not really a hard course. Most already took this in highschool. The problems is Kazlow love making this class 100x harder than it needs to be. Tutoring center is not much help at all b/c sometimes even the tutors don't know how to approach his problems. Test are drastically different from the textbook.

Don't take this course. Even attending every class, numerous 8AM office hours, tutoring center, extra HW and peer one on one groups, I still failed. Professor does not help students and moves onto new material regardless. Teacher doesn't mind if you are failing. 90% of my class failed this course. BEWARE!

Kazlow seems to think that we need to spend 8 hours a week on his class, regardless of all the other classes we are taking, jobs, e. He has no problem failing his entire class. I've had five friends drop out of the class this semester. He cares more about being a "good teacher"" then about his students actually passing and getting through his class

Avoid if u can. He is a hard grader & poor teacher w a hi fail/drop rate. U MUST do ALL hw probs, NOT just graded ones, on time & dont fall behind. Watch YouTube Calc videos. You still might only get a C. He doesn't give quizzes; only 2 tests & a final on too much material at once & he doesn't prepare you well for tricky Qs he puts on them.

Don't do it to yourself. Doesn't care about failing the whole class. Nothing makes sense. Nice guy, though.

Lectures are based in theory not in what will be on test. Homework isn't graded, first time you are graded on your work is on quizzes and tests. Heavy grader in this area. Four years at this school and I've never felt so cheated by a course. Hard material, unnecessarily hard class. Unstable office hours. If you get in, usually critical of semantics

The worst professor at pace. Don't risk it. Take stats in pleasantville. The commute is worth it in order to avoid this bad professor.

Avoid this man for Statistics and Probability, the course isn't designed for you to pass. He failed the entire class, no one got above a 45 on his exams, even when people spend everyday in his office hours. The only reason I graduated was because the CS dept made an alternate course with a instructor who could teach and grade fairly.

Professor Kazlow isnt here to teach. Hes here to listen to himself speak and then feel superior to the students when he fails as many as possible. You can look back at these reviews and see hes been teaching this way for a decade and the school doesnt care as long as they get their money.

Dont do this to yourself. There are even math majors that withdraw this class. If you decide to take this anyway, bring a sleeping bag and prepare to make the tutoring center your new home.
