Real nice guy!
He is very passionate about teaching and is great at it. There are five essays assigned throughout the semester with in-class peer review days for each of them. He is very lenient with due dates as long as you aren't abusive. I would highly recommend this professor. He is an overall nice guy and truly cares about helping all of his students.
Great professor. Just make sure to pay close attention to deadlines. He is very respectful and helpful. I would recommend him specially if you feel you need help on developing writing skills. I took eng 102 with him and by far has been the class I was most involved in and the only professor I would take another class with. long story short, take him
BY FAR THE BEST PROFESSOR EVER, I took this class and I really enjoyed it. very helpful, motivated, organized and he is very lenient for due dates. I would 100% recommend for YOU to take this class. you would love it.
The best professor ever. He really helps. I have Not meet another professor that has really wanted to help their students. Take him and you will appreciate him as a professor
BEST PROFESSOR EVER. He is definitely not one that would like to see you fail or do bad in his class. He is very lenient on due dates. As long as you put effort in and pay attention in class you are golden! I had him for English 232 and I am horrible in English but he made it worthwhile. You will not regret taking him!!!
Lots of work! I took the 4 week class and of course it is a lot of work but even for a reg 16 week course it is a lot. Lots of reading and lots of analysis'. He is very helpful and very prompt to getting back to you. fair grader. Do the work and no problem passing. 35-40 assignments 4 essays last one needs to be 6 pages. Hope this helps!
A lot of assignments, not difficult just respond and reply and he will give you a complete grade, your work will come when essays are required each week. I took summer class and it was a lot of assignments something to complete daily.
Mr. Kimball is very helpful and very clear about what we would like to see in your paper. He will also go through with your paper if you want to and tells you what need to fixed. I took him for Eng 101, Eng 102 and also taking for Eng 223. Great Professor
Great professor, I love Kimball!
He's really nice and willing to help you whenever you need help. He doesn't really give out tests. We don't do much essays. Just do your work and you'll pass.
Professor Kimball was probably the most helpful prof I've ever had. He answers your questions, and does so in an unbelievably timely fashion. He is fair and encouraging. I took the 4 wk online sum class and it was intense. There was a lot of work, but the goal is attainable. Read the modules, they're helpful. I learned so much in that 4 wks.
He's awesome, just do the assignments and you'll pass. He does writing workshops for rough drafts of papers with your peers before you turn them in. His class is also pretty laid back. I'm taking his 102 class next semester
Amazing teacher. Best English teacher I have ever had. Great at analyzing and pulling apart narratives, poems, etc. Easy teacher, easy class.
Professor Kimball is quite possible the best teacher that I've had in my 3 years of college. He is amazing. We actually got to analyze a comic book in class and he explained it perfect. The man is a pure genius and he shows his students respect, fairness, and most importantly, mercy. You will leave with skills that help in life, trust me on that.
We did not use the book a lot in class but that does not mean you wont need it, we did refer to the textbook for clarity and when writing papers. He is a great professor; he has a sort of a nerd humor and it's really funny. He is very passionate about his classes and he offers personal conferences if you need direction when writing papers.
Prof. Kimball is a really cool guy. However expect to have about 2 assignments due each week. Each one is done online & you are usually allowed to do the Read Responses ahead of time (which are due every week). Whole class is structured around your final paper (6-8 pages). Literally only used the book ONE TIME! Save your $$. Lots of papers & essays

This is a good, easy class. He's somewhat of a tough grader, but honestly best English teacher ever.
This teacher is the best! He is really easy going and students respect him. He knows what he is talking about and he likes to hear students opinions. However, you do have to read each week and do reading responds online. Its not a hard class. I recommend it! Great Teacher !
I took this class over summer as a four week course. Expect homework everyday even the weekends. At first it seems like a lot but by the first week you get used to it. He is good at responding to emails. There are four essays due and they all lead up to the final paper. I got a D on one paper and still passed the class with an A.
Good professor that helps students understand the fundamental of writing different types of papers.
One of the best professors I've had at CSN! He is very clear about what he is looking for and is always ready to offer feedback. I would love to take the rest of my english credits with him.
i took Mike for all my English Classes and loved everyone of them. He's clear on what he expects, and gives good feedback. He also has really good class discussions, which keep people interested and engaged.
His class is very interesting because he is active in the English community. He has a lot of opinions about varies things. If you don't pass his class then its probably your fault, he is nice to extend assignments. There are small weekly assignments, and 4 papers. Before each paper is due he takes class periods to explain & teach requirements.
very cute guy. also a giant nerd. took the banned books lit class. very interesting. i would take him again. the class is also really easy if you keep up with the reading.
An amazing teacher to have. It was easy to pay attention to his lectures and to do his homework. Even though he assigned some essays he gave us plenty of time and even did peer review workshops for rough drafts. He requires you to use either him or the writing center at least once but it is best to use both since they are very helpful resources.
Professor Kimball was one of the best professors I've had. He gives great feedback and is always willing to answer any questions you might encounter. I definitely recommend taking his class. He is lenient but do not take advantage of that because it will eventually backfire on you.
I took his 4 week online course, as expected it was a lot of assignments to do every day. If you take his 4 week online course Id make sure you have good time management. He provides great feedback and is clear about what he is looking for. There are four essays due that lead up to the final paper.
4 major papers that lead up to the final paper. He basically gives you all semester for the final paper, and lots of in-class help. If you don't pass, it's your fault. He's an excellent teacher, and doesn't demand much from the textbook. Participate in class and ask questions. Great class!
Amazing teacher. His lectures aren't boring and he doesn't ask for a lot of work. A semester with him will consist of papers, discussions, reading posts, and reviews. He's very lenient with deadlines if you need extensions on papers. He's lowkey cute too. You don't really use the book either. It's honestly just there for "suggested readings."
Mr. Kimball did an excellent job teaching. His lectures were not boring, and the reading material he picked was interesting. As long as you do your discussion questions and reading responses you will be fine.
Hands down one of the best English teacher I've ever had. The class has LOTS of reading, but the work revolves all around the reading, read the book and you'll be able to complete the assignments.
I took this class for the 2016 Fall term... The reading material is wonderful as long as you keep an open mind, and you'll have everyday discussions on the reading material so come prepared. 2 papers, one's a practice and the other's a final. He's an awesome teacher and the lectures were fun as well. Thanks for the class. :)
Professor Kimball is an amazing professor and he really wants you to succeed. There is definitely a lot of work, but none of it is difficult or super time consuming. He is incredibly helpful if you use his office hours and is always willing to help. I would totally recommend him to anyone taking English 101 or 102
Amazing teacher. You have the usual papers, discussions posts, activities, but it's not hard at all. An easy class. He's flexible with deadlines just let him know ahead of time. I wouldn't mind having him as the only English professor I'd always take.
made us read a capt america comicbook n connect it to real world events. interesting but i'm not into superheroes so... ANYWAY LOTS of discussion posts (u have to reply to others) there's group projects, 4 papers. the last one is like 8 pages n u gotta do fieldwork bc its a researchpaper. if u have a busy life or jus need cred, don't take him.
I enjoyed his class. He seemed to be behind a lot of grading, and didn't get much feedback. This may be due to unusual personal circumstances at the beginning of the year that set him back, though. Definitely will take EN 102 from him, is clear on what he wants and allows for revision. Some extra credit provided, but take it when it comes.
I have to say he is such an awesome professor. I took him over the summer... I did feel a little overwhelmed by the 4 papers, but nothing to worry about the 3 previous papers lead up to the last Essay which did have to be 8-13 pages long. He does assign a lot of homework but nothing too difficult. If you do all the hw you will pass.
I took him for Eng 102 and he's good. I didn't like that he doesn't give feedback on your papers. Kimball just says ask your peers to review your paper. I don't like that because my peers and I don't know what to look for, and sometimes we're wrong. He's also pretty vague when asking you to write a paper. He does extend the due date to papers!
I've taken Professor Kimball for ENG 101 and I now have him for 102, and I'm taking him for 223 next semester because I really love his teaching style a lot. He's lenient when it comes to due dates. The re's 4 essays that lead up to one final paper and as long as you keep up on your work you should be fine. Don't expect an easy A, you gotta earn it
Overall great lectures. Very easy going and gives great feedback
I took Professor Kimballs ENG 101 class, and I truly enjoyed being in his class. He gives amazing lectures, and throws humor in them. I definitely feel I have become a better writer just from taking his class. He always sends reminder announcement to Canvas for what we need the next class, and that really helped. You will learn so much from him :)
Lots of extra credit and reading but I learned very little. He's nice but clumsy+unorganized. 3 papers due not hard but theyre time consuming. Read 5 books analyze 2 movies read 3 short stories 1 partner project some other paperwork/classwork. He just had a breakup so its affecting his teaching, he also projects a lot in class. Hes average tbh.
If you're looking for a great teacher that makes you want to earn your grade, take him. He will make you work for the grade you want and he is thorough in the assignments and what he expects from you in each one. Definitely recommend taking him for English 101 and would take him again.
This was my second English course I took from him, and I have learned so much from him. Your critical thinking skills will become so much better because of all the discussion posts and papers he assigns. I wrote 4 papers for this class, no tests, and interesting discussion posts. His theme for ENG 102 is for all the future activists!
Just took his class online this last semester! Super easy class and the directions were super clear. I think I opened the text book maybe once the whole time... Great professor would take again.
Kimball is a good professor. Everything straight forward. Do the work and you will get an easy A. A lot of reading for homework and heavy lecture over the readings during class. One presentation, three big papers due for the semester. Asks you to keep a writing journal for in class, this is graded at the end of the semester and helpful for final.
I took this online and he was very nice. The work was easy and the essays are made all the easier by peer reviews and ample time to do rough drafts, outlines and finals. He is super nice and I grew a lot as a writer because of him.
Professor Kimball is always available and will respond extremely quick! He outlines ALL assignment and makes sure you completely understand. FYI, I've LEARNED leaps and bounds taking his class. Also, I would take his class in a regular semester, not in the summer because there's a lot of homework. But it's very doable. Professor Kimball, thank you!
Professor Kimball will give feedback on papers if you show interest and want to improve your writing. He is very understanding when it comes to you having issues with submitting assignments on time due to personal/work issues and he is willing to work with his students. Don't abuse his kindness, please. You're the best, professor.
Hands down one of my favorite class Ive ever taken in college. If you love reading then I highly recommend this class since you will probably read a couple of books. The semester was filled with really engaging class discussions and Kimball always presented really cool information to us. He is really funny and is genuine about what he teaches.
The assignment I would stress most for this Professor was the peer reviewed papers. As long as you are receptive to his lectures and you participate, I don't see why you wouldn't get an A. He is very understanding and seems to care a lot about his students success.
took him for english 102 spring he is ok a bit of a heavy work load and a final paper worth 40% of your grade he keeps class pretty interesting and makes you think he also takes attendance daily.
He is an amazing professor by far the best, I took his online class for ENG 101, his teaching material is clear and organized. He cares a lot about his students and is very lenient and understanding about late work. Do not hesitate to ask for help , he is very nice and helpful , lots of work but put effort into your work and you will pass.
Get ready to do alot of work in this class. Its not hard work but its time consuming. He is understanding when turned in late though just let him know. All he talks about is politics tbh lol. Essays are interesting
Professor Kimball is an amazing instructor. He is a very passionate speaker. Attendance is mandatory. He gives out a lot of work, which feeds into the lectures for the next class. I would gladly take his class again. It is not an easy A but if you put the work in, you will get an A
You won't pass if you slack off in his class, but if you want to improve your writing skills you have picked the right guy. He is supportive, encouraging and he's a tough but fair grader. I would take another of his classes in a heartbeat.
I cant say enough great things about this Prof. I had to leave a comment so others can take his course. Very easy class and not because the material is easy but because he is able to make you fully understand what youre doing with great feedback on every assignment. I would take this again.
If you enjoy reading then this is the class for you! He gives a lot of homework but all of the assignments are very interesting. You can tell that he is passionate about his work. He's super laid back and cool! He's not your typical English professor. I enjoyed this class. Definitely recommend this class.
Easily one of the best professors in the CSN English department. Gives great feedback on every essay you hand in, and is very clear on what his expectations are for the class. There is a lot of work, but so long as you follow the instructions I don't see how you can fail his class. I cannot recommend the class enough. Easy and well-earned A!
He is very in depth with his feedback and very lenient when you first start the semester. Lots of essays but very interesting topics. Extensions are granted if you let him know in advance. He encourages students to use the writing center and visit him in his office. Extremely caring about actually getting something out of his class. Take his class
I took all of my English courses with Professor Kimball and I feel like I came out of them a better writer. He's very laid back, accessible, & patient. If you need help, just ask. I really enjoyed his subtle sense of humor during the class lectures. I think he once mentioned he had beef with exclamation marks. Kimball, you're the absolute best!!!
Kimball is a really nice guy and goes through everything clearly. He makes lectures interesting too and gives extremely good feedback. There is a lot of work to do in his class but its doable. He is political tho and so are his assignments, but he does respect people's views. He is not a heavy grader if you at least try. Great professor!
I think he is the best professor in the English class. there are lots of assignments, but as long as you turn it in you would receive good credit and great feedbacks. he is super patient to all of your assignments and questions. You will learn a lot in his class! take it!!!
An A depends on YOU! NO quizzes/exams! 4 papers! A LOT of hw! Take it one day at a time & don't get behind! I wanted to give up in the beginning but just get 1 on 1 help if confused! Helpful, encouraging & understanding! Some credit if you do assignments! Fair Grader! Extra Credit! Political based! Don't take him for granted! Thanks Professor Mike
Like the other comment said, in order to get an A in his classes depends on you. As long as you try and do your research on all the papers, hell give you no lower than an a B. Im pretty sure he gave everyone a 90% on the final essay since people I know all said they got 90. Take him if you can, will always help and very caring. Kimball rocks!!
Hes a great professor. He really is passionate about the course and his students. A lot of homework which isnt hard, but a little time consuming. Gives extensions for everything even essays. Its not a hard course, but its a lot of work. It is college though, so its expected. Hes very sweet and caring. Gives good feedback on essays.
I took his online course and surprisingly enjoyed the material. I hate essays, but he made them enjoyable by basically giving us the option to pick our own topics as long as they relate to the lessons. There is a ton of homework/assignments, but they are engaging. Hes extremely lenient, yet motivating. You can tell he cares for his students.
Professor Kimball is amazing. The homework and essays are a little long, but he makes them engaging and they all felt worth my time. He's always there to help and explains the work perfectly. Gives great feedback and boosts your confidence. I would take him for all my ENG classes if I could.
Professor Kimball is the typical teacher that gives 4 essays and a little bit of homework. One thing that shines about him is just how much effort and time he puts to make sure you get a good grade. He gives tons of feedback on papers and is not harsh about them at all. He will never say no to offering help and will make sure you understand.
Take this Professor! He is one of the most inspirational professors Ive ever had. Cares for his students a whole lot and will always understand your struggles, unlike other teachers wholl be rude and tell you no excuses. He makes his lessons really quirky and interesting. If you hate English like me, Mike will make this class enjoyable and fun!
There is a lot of reading and assignments to do. He gives great feedback and allows you to resubmit your work in order to receive a better grade. He was amazing.
I came back a year later just to say how grateful I am for the things Mr. Kimball has taught me. I think what he teaches is more relevant now than ever. He teaches an eye opening class where you need find the honest facts, look for bias, and to be careful of motives in media. Overall he's a great teacher that really cares about his students.
Mr. Kimball is an amazing professor that should be your #1 choice for English 101. I've never learned more technique and gotten feedback this good from an English class. He's very easy to reach and offers extensions if you ask. You have a paper due each week, but it is very manageable. The final is a revision of your major papers with reflections.
Professor Kimball was fantastic. You spend a couple weeks preparing to write a rough draft of an assignment and the final exam was a portfolio of the final drafts of each of those assignments. This class had a lot of coursework, but it is all organized, helpful, and not too difficult. Kimball definitely wants you to learn and have fun.
Great professor! Class consisted of a discussion post & an assignment due every week. Grades easy, meet the criteria & get full points. Teaches important lessons in assignments. Rough drafts are main assignments & he annotates them. Final drafts are turned in at the end of the semester as the final. No tests. Answers emails quick. Highly recommend!
English is my least favorite subject, but I enjoyed Professor Kimball's class. It is alot of writing, but Professor Kimball really cares about his students and their education. You do the work and you will pass! He was by far my favorite professor yet.
He is one of the best professors I've ever had! He is such a kind person and will always help you when you need it. There's 3 things due weekly: a video lecture quiz, discussion post, and reading response to anything in the module and 3 papers. It's very manageable if you pace yourself correctly. He's also very interactive with sending out updates
I HATE English; however, I enjoyed this class. Only thing I disliked was his leftist ideologies and trying to push them on students. However, the class was completely manageable. The papers were a bit difficult; however, he allowed me to turn them in early and then get feedback from him and re-do them before the deadline. Very interesting course!
Professor Kimball is an exceptional professor. His entire course is focused on assignments that students will actually benefit from! Not in only in college, but in their personal lives. There is a lot of homework. It is frustrating but so rewarding. I did not expect to learn so many great skills from this class. I'm grateful for Professor Kimball.
he was a very helpful professor.
You will have to do a lot of reading, however it is for your benefit. Every week there is an assignment due, whether it be a brainstorming portfolio or rough draft. Discussion are every two weeks. The professor is there to help you, one of the nicest I have had so far. He gives great feedback. Please respect his and your time.
He gave us extensions on everything which helped me so so soooo much . Funny guy !
Four papers, a writing notebook for class, and reading responses in between. Professor Kimball has a lot of material to watch/read, but they're useful for when you have to write your papers. He gives good feedback on all of your papers and is lenient with deadlines. You can always ask for an extension which has been super helpful! Would take again
Prof. Kimball really cares about his students and makes sure they are aware of all resources CSN provides. There are quite a few papers to complete in this class but that is expected as an English class. He is always lenient with extensions and gives great feedback. Don't be afraid to reach out to him as he is very available and helpful. Great Guy!
Really good professor! Definitely lots of papers but yes... expected in an English class. I was so so sooooo appreciative of the extensions given! His audio lectures are fantastic and is a funny guy! Definitely cares about his students and I never had an issue reaching out to him!! 10/10
By far the best Professor I have ever had. 100% would take his class again.
Professor Kimball was my first college professor, and I'm so happy to say I had a good experience in his class. The material is fairly simple and the lectures are easy to understand. He's super caring and offers quite a bit of flexibility when it comes to deadlines.
I don't mind reading and writing papers. I'm a bit bias as I find this topic very interesting and am willing to do quite a bit of work so long as its interesting to me. Overall though he was a great teacher and this was a great class. 10/10 would recommend, though I would suggest you be willing to read and write a bit.
Professor Kimball was a good professor. His instructions are clear and he is a fair grader. I just wasn't a fan of how political he got during class. It felt like his political opinions were being shoved down my throat sometimes. Other than that I liked him a lot and he definitely cares a lot for students. I'd take him again if I got the chance.
Kimball was an amazing prof. We did several essays throughout the course, and our final was a project in which we revised them based off of his feedback (which was very thorough and helpful). There were also several assignments that lead up to these essays to allow for practice and to ensure students wouldn't feel lost in the bigger assignments.
Very kind and understanding, even with only meeting through Zoom and email correspondences. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Most assignments are participation based. Gives extensions if necessary and is very understanding. No final exam, just revising previous assignments with his feedback to create a portfolio. Would totally take again!
One of my favorite professors! He was so understanding and taught well. He doesn't mind phone use, but just don't use ur phone because it's disrespectful. He offers extra credit assignments and grants extensions on most assignments, No tests, just writing papers. His grading scale is great; he's not a tough grader at all. He answers emails fast too
A nice guy! he just assigns a lot of homework but he also gives a lot of extra credits and is an easy grader :)
Professor Kimball is definitely one of the best proffesors I've ever had. He really cares about students mental health and will make sure you succeed and aren't stressed. He gives a good amount of work but if its ever too much for you he allows extensions. He also gives many extra credit opportunities which is amazing. He gives great feedback too!!
Honestly, I wish he taught more subjects so that I could take his class again! His assignments are very thought-provoking and his feedback is very thorough as well as respectful. There is rarely a time in your paper that you would feel that the wordcount requirement is too long.
Very good feedback on assignments. Lots of brainstorming assignments but they make it easier for you to write your essays. 4 essays which he gives good feedback on too. Very flexible with due dates if you let him know in advanced. End of semester your portfolio is just all of your essays just revised. Extra credit options as well.
He was an amazing professor. He gave great feedback and had a clear rubric on what he expected out of the assignments. If you emailed him he would respond quickly. He also allowed you to have extensions if needed. There was a lot of homework but it helped with the final. Overall I definitely recommend him.
AMAZING PROFESSOR! (Eng 223: Mental Health). Professor Kimball taught me so much and in such a short time span. Fair warning: Be prepared to put in some work. You will be reading and analyzing a few textbooks, posting weekly discussion posts, and writing a total of three essays. Plenty of extra credit opportunities too (impossible to FAIL). 10/10!!
Overall an easy class. You read book or watch movies/segments of shows to analyze the mental illness displayed. Then you answer Reading Responses and create Discussion Questions. There's a writing notebook where you answer questions for him during lecture. 3 Papers all surrounding mental illness/health. Provides a lot of extra credit options.
I enjoyed his class a lot! He's so nice, caring, & super understanding. The class consisted of reading responses, papers, & discussions, no tests. Grades by completion of rubrics, follow assignment requirements really well & you'll get a good score. He's such a great professor that I wish he would teach all of my other classes. BEST PROFESSOR EVER!
This professor is lecture heavy and makes the class boring. He is a fair grader, but makes assignments confusing. Want a class about news and politics, take this class, otherwise don't. I don't recommend him.
He wants you to learn and to succeed. Plenty of opportunities to get things right. If you communicate with him, he will work with you to help. He understands that life happens. Teaching how to bridge real world events/news/politics into learning. Critical thinking skills required. He's a fair grader and keeps lectures/homework relevant.
This professor was amazing! He is very understanding and offers many extra credit assignments. He does require you to read a lot but the books are fun and interesting. Communication is clear and he keeps the class updated with announcements. Assignments are fairly easy. Assignments are due each week, the day before class. Take this class!
Really cool guy who genuinely cares about his students. Only 4 major papers and he gives you ample time and resources. Is willing to give extensions and extra credit if you genuinely try and don't expect to have everything handed to you. Also allows work to be turned in until the end of the semester. For the love of God DO THE READING RESPONSES!!!
One of the best professors I've ever had, he really cares about his students. He is very understanding and provides extremely good feedback. All of his homework assignments are to help with the final drafts that you submit at the end of the course instead of exams. Easy to access and responds quick. Definitely recommend him. Just pace yourself!
He is political at times but he isn't biased toward any students. You do need to put effort into the papers because he is very concrete about his grading system but as long as you do the work you'll do fine. He gives lots of extra credit options.
Very informative professor who gives daily questions and videos on English, fun activities to participate for learning in English. Reallt well outlined essays and weekly discussions, with good projects as well. Very clear and understanding of certain accommodations and struggles in class.
Professor Kimball's class is challenging but rewarding. Lots of reading and writing, but with helpful study tools like Unstuck ai and generous extra credit. Attend class, engage with the material, and you'll learn a ton.
Professor Kimball has been my favorite English teacher and made me love writing again. He is very understanding and is willing to extend deadlines if needed. I 100% recommend him for anyone taking English 101 he is great with feedback and is a great teacher for transitioning from high school to college.
Professor Kimball was such a good professor. There are some weeks that are a little more work heavy, but in the end it all comes together. He gives extra credit opportunities and he does weekly check ins to make sure you are on track. This class is very doable if you do not fall behind. One thing about him is that he is very kind and understanding.
Class can be a bit confusing at first, but after a little bit, you'll understand it. Very clear grading criteria. There is a lot of reading. You will do several papers and annotated text for your final, you just revise all the papers that you wrote pretty easy class and the teacher answers you immediately if you have any questions or concerns.
Professor Kimball was great; however, there is a lot of homework that seems pointless. He is very helpful, though, and will communicate and walk you through everything. Easy class if you stay on top of your work
Great class lectures if everyone is willing to discuss and participate, easy class with 1 class presentation and 1 major paper. Keep up with readings and weekly task and it's an easy A
I took Professor Kimball, Mental Health class. It is one of my favorite classes this far, and Prof. Kimball is one of my favorite professors. Understanding, very educational. Watching movies / reading books, writing an analysis or discussion question. The class is even better if everyone participates and shares. I would recommend this professor.
Professor Kimball was a very lenient grader. It's obvious where he leans politically and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know his personal (liberal) views. In my final paper I was not allowed to use the term 'illegal immigrant' as it could be found 'offensive' by some people. The point of the paper was to pick a controversial subject.
5 essays total and 1-2 assignments per week which were either brainstorming portfolios (easy work and helpful towards rough/final draft), discussion posts (4 total), or rough drafts. Provides well written instructions and student samples. He has weekly check-ins that are not mandatory and includes information about that week's material.
One of the best teachers at csn, super laid back and willing to help you if needed.
This was the best English course I have ever taken. He always gave the best feedback on rough drafts and outlines. He cares about not only your studies but also your well-being. A lot of writing, but his timeline makes it easier to follow. Write the best you can, turn the assignment in, and you will get the grade you want.
