He's as helpful as he can be but it's an extremely difficult class. Be careful with this class, it can ruin your GPA.

It is true that he is still figuring out his teaching style. Most of anatomy, he pretty much just read the ppt slides but then changed it up a bit when people were failing. He has review sessions before classes and pretty much gives you answers. Write them down. Pay attention when he says to remember something. Great guy, working on his style.

The Prof. clearly points out the nature of the course at the start which may scare some students. However, his enthusiasm and extraordinary effort in explaining everything makes the subject clear and easier. I found his honesty and method of teaching to be very helpful. He is the type of Prof I recommend for those who want to understand Anatomy!

I took the summer class. The course is very fast paced, so try not to get behind. Dr. Klug tells you exactly what you need to do to be successful in his class. There is no "easy" A in Anatomy because you have to do the work. His assignments force you to do the work necessary. If you listen and follow his advice, then you will enjoy his class.

Mr. Klug is a great professor! He definitely makes you work for it, but is willing to help you along the way. Sometimes I thought he was unclear about small things here and there, but it didn't really make or break my grade. I hate reading and he suggested to read the book front to back, but I didn't and passed just fine.

I literally did the work and nothing came of the book nor from the professor... I mean, Prof. Klug didn't help me learn. I had to teach anatomy myself. What he did is he gave us a print out from past semester finals, 7 we are expected to memorize the answers for those questions. I don;t personally think learning involves that.... but you can get 'A

Professor Klug was a good professor. He is upfront and will tell you exactly what to expect. If you don't stay on top of the assignments and the readings you can fall behind fast. I was amazed at all of the assignments and tests he dropped. This helped out tremendously with my grade. Just stay on top of your assignments and you will pass with an A.

Professor Klug has a teaching approach that is engineered for many different learning methods and abilities. At the outset, the amount of assignments appears endless, but many are optional, and they are truly there in order to help learning. His expectations are clear, and his exams do not aim at "tricking" students.

Michael Klug is an awesome teacher! at first it will seem like a lot of work but most of it is optional and is their for different learning styles. his tests are not to "trick" you they are rather straight forward. He is there to help you if you are trying! I would recommend him for lab AND lecture to anyone!

YES! Take any class available with Klug! He provides great feedback, and fun/interesting examples to help you learn and retain material. For anatomy, you need to put forth the effort to earn a good grade, but that's standard. He provides many opportunities/variety to earn extra points (which is great for someone who may not test well).

Prof. Klug is straight up with you. You do have to work in this class as Anatomy is a tough time consuming class regardless. Read the book, you can hyper focus on the power points but it's not a perfect substitute for the book. Pop quizes happen, but most of the time he'll hint the day before. Good teacher, corny jokes, knowledgable. Recommended

Truly a wonderful teacher. He puts a lot of effort into making this class "fun and easy" for everyone (you'll hear him say those words a lot), and he's great at breaking things down and explaining them in a way that makes sense. Definitely one of the best teachers at MCTC.

I took him online and it is actually easy it's the final that really makes or breaks your grade. He drops a lot and offers a good amount of extra credit. There's a test on every chapter but some questions are from the homework. He responded promptly to e-mails and didn't hesitate to answer questions I had. Take him over the other choices.

I took Michael's Anatomy class for Nursing program. He is such a wonderful professor. He is supper nice, understandable, full of knowledge. Yes, he does makes make you study but in a easy fun way. Klug is seriously the perfect teacher for this difficult of a class. Don't expect anything worth it in life to be easy; he will teach you anatomy in a clinical way which helps a lot when applying it. Overall the class was the hardest I've ever had but equally rewarding.

Anatomy is going to be a hard class regardless of who teaches it. However, Klug makes sure that if you want it bad enough, you can get a good grade and--more importantly--set up to succeed in the medical field. Anyone who had a bad time in this class is unaware that college is not for spoon-feeding. If you have questions, you have to ask. You have to come to class prepared. You have to do the work. Prof. Klug fully embraces the "flipped classroom" model. Be prepared to study outside of class, because his lectures are principally Q&A sessions. A forgiving grader w/ lots of EC opportunities. The material was challenging, but it would have been much more so w/o such an experienced instructor.

Was easily accessible outside of class and enjoyed meeting to answers questions. Was easily approachable and willing to work with you. Very knowledgeable and when asked something he didn't know or unsure of, he was willing to look into it and meet with you after class to explain at another time. Great teacher!

Dr Klug is a challenging but excellent teacher in person, NOT online (no lectures). He has the impression of an autistic genius when he is actually a sweetheart. BUT, when he has a bad day he can get very snippy. However, DONT be intimidated, he genuinely deep down want your success. I'm in med school now and he was the best teacher I ever had.

Look this class online. ALOT OF THINGS! As long as you kept up with the weekly assignments/hwk its all good and you will get the grade you want. Anatomy is hard and even though this class felt like a teach yourself, he was accessible for zoom meeting always kept himself available. USE YOUR RESOURCES AND GO TO HIM FOR HELP you will be fine.

Dr. Klug was quite possibly the best teacher I've had at MCTC. He is super understanding about everything and gives you so many opportunities to catch up. It's a tough class and he knows it so he's very good with helping you out.

Your grade depends on how much time YOU can dedicate to it. He's upfront about the amount of work this takes and he cares about your success (shares studying strategies) & wants to minimize testing anxiety (by sending reassuring emails and dropping a lot of grades). Since there are no lectures, go to WORKSHOPS and TUTORING and OFFICE HOURS instead.

Kluge is highly intelligent and TRUELY cares for his students! He gives many chances by dropping a HUGE amount of grades. He is always available and promptly returns e-mails. He makes learning fun and easy! This IS a difficult class, be prepared to read, study, & memorize ALOT! Utilize the ASC!!

Dr. K is a great professor. His grading criteria may seems a bit confusing in the beginning, but it gets better throughout the semester. I love his quizzes as he breaks down questions in smaller sections. Although his tests and quizzes are extremely fast pace, but they are not hard nor trick questions. I hope everyone will pass with an A!

It was a ton of work for a summer class and he's not kidding when he says at least two hours a day. He does NOT lecture, which makes it difficult to grasp certain concepts. Get familiar with the weekly schedule early so that you don't miss the first assignments like I did. Drops a TON of low scores (almost half), so it's easy to get a good grade!

Professor Michael Klug is very down to earth and flexible. His presentations, knowledge, details oriented for the class is OUTSTANDING and immensely helpful to grasp the content of the subject. Good teacher and class but I would recommend to take it as a regular semester. The summer class has many concepts to learn in too short of time. It is not his fault though, since there is a standard on what needs to be taught. I didn't retain as much information as I could have due to the amount of work thrown at you in a short period of time.

I took Professor Klug's online summer 2022 course and though it was intensive and minimum 7 online exams/quizzes every weekend, I was able to succeed and 28 points short of an A. Overall get ready to teach yourself Anatomy and practicing the materials and participating in online discussions as well as Mastering Biology Homework.

I took this class online, but I thought it was very doable. The test/exam questions come straight from the quizzes. The lab questions also come directly from the slides he gives. There is a lot of homework, but it is manageable. He gives a bunch of extra credit and make-up work as well. As long as you pay attention, you'll do fine.

He gives a metric crap ton of quizzes and homework but it is for your own benefit since he drops so so many scores. He only takes the good grades out of thousands of fails. If you do the work, earnestly, you will no doubt pass.

Professor Klug deserves all the respect in the world. He is a genius in his field. He says "make anatomy fun and easy." This one quote got me through this difficult class. The classwork is heave, as expected. He has great availability. I would recommend anyone looking to take this course to take is with Professor Klug. GOAT!

This incredible professor goes above and beyond to be available to all students and help explain anything you might be struggling with. I was nervous about taking Anatomy online as it is a very tough course. He is one of the best teachers that I have ever had. I learned a ton! He inspired me to go farther into the field than I initially was going to If you do the work you will get a good grade! No extra credit, but there are a lot of grades that get dropped in every category.

Classwork was heavy, but he made everything crystal clear. He guided us till the final test. So so many second chances to better your grade. Many resources to use and tutoring was available.

The teacher picks out what we need to learn from the textbook and presents it through slides with pictures and definitions. I found the mnemonics he used and how he referred back to past chapters helped me recall information. He offered many office hour opportunities and gave videos/readings to help.

I was scared coming into this class but professor Michael provides a lot of extra credit to boost your grade up! Just do the work and you'll be fine! Time management is key and start early!
