Was a great teacher though rude at times. He knew what he was talking about, and could answer any question you had. Easy class all you had to do is give a speech, even if the speech was not to good he would give you an a in the class if you tried hard. Great teacher recommend everone take.

he is a brilliant guy! he is one of the funniest guys i have ever met! his storys are great and you dont use your book and all you do is give speeches and listen to the man talk about awesome things such as guns to his face and other awesome stories! he will make fun of you, so have balls going into this class! big balls! you will need them for the blows he will take at you! i proved him wrong today and he admitted it! THIS guy is great. he can teach any subject and make it clear as day. if you have any questions, you just have to tell him with out fear that you don't know. he can should be given a nobel prize in every subject cause he's so damn smart. and no i'm kissing his ass he's just so damn smart!!!

i thought that his class was very easy and fun too. he makes jokes about almost everything. public speaking is a hard thing to do for some people and he makes easier. he has a way of having us feel comfortable with eachother.

This was my favorite teacher at BC. he is SO funny, one of the few teachers that literally made me laugh out loud everytime i went to class. tons of energy and enthusiams, not to mention brilliant. Take a class from him if you get the chance!

Great teacher, one of my favorites. He is very funny and incorperates his humor into his teaching so its easier to understand. He is a very smart person. Be aware though, he WILL make fun of you, so be prepaired. Nothing serious, he just likes to make sure everyone is involved in the class. He will teach you things you will actually use in life.

he's the type of teacher you hope to get every semester. he makes it fun to be in his class. he's a very smart smartass as well. do not try to argue with him about anything, the man is a master debator, i am one as well and he completely destroyed me. great teacher, highly recommended

Korcok is a very cool guy once you get to know him! He actually makes the class fun, but I have to say that he will ridicule you on everything you do wrong in a speech, but the good thing is he does it to everyone! He has a good sense of humor and this class really does help you when it comes to talking in front of others!

Korcok is honestly the MAN. I'm taking my 3rd class from him, and I haven't gotten the book cause I wont need it. He's funny, and is a good 8 oclock class cause he'll wake you up for sure. Take korcok. Oh, yeah, he wants the Chili Pepper rating, give the poor guy a break. (Haha Korcok)

at the beggining i thought that he is weird but once you get to know him you actually will have fun each time in his class. he does make jokes about everyone in the class and sometimes mean once too but just don't take the jokes serious. the thing i like about him is that he is real and dosen't care what other people think.very easy class.

The dude is hilarious. The class is fun and super easy. Debate can be somewhat intimidating, especially when he can easily make you look like a fool. However, he is fair and knows his subject. You will actually be more amazed by how stupid other students are when it comes to debate!

I love and hate him at the same time. Probably the most cynical man I have ever met. Although he is a great professor. He makes it seem like he's tougher than he really is but I think its so that you do your best. Says things for shock value alot. Just come to class, do your work and put a bit of effort into your speeches and you'll be fine.

Professor Korcok is hilarious! He makes jokes often, and makes fun of others, but at the same time he is harmless. If you try your best he will award you with a decent grade. Do a couple of show off speeches you will do fine. Take good notes. His mid term & final are based off his notes. He loves to eat bring him some food to get on his good side.

My best friend and I took this class together. We hated him at first, but ended up liking him because he curved on the midterm, and he dropped the final. If you're lucky like we were, you'll have a bunch of idiots in the class to make you look better. We had a white guy who thought he was black, a girl who didn't eat, a bunch of wanna be gangsters.

Furthermore, Korcok will embarrass you and put you the spot but he doesn't pick favorites. Best teacher I have ever had at BC. He knows his stuff and is only hard on you to bring out the best in you, or maybe just for kicks!

Korcok is one of the funniest and smartest prof I've had. Some of the stuff he says might provoke arguments which leads to him "Pwn"ing students. I highly suggest taking him, he's an easy grader (he tries to act tough) and is very helpful. He even debated with me in the team debates because my team mate was a blockhead who never showed up to class!

Hope I'm not speaking too soon because I haven't got my grade yet..But professor Korcok is an awesome teacher. And he doesn't play favorites. He is very clear in what he wants.

he was somewhat funny, I never used the dumb 80 dollar book or the 12 dollar packet. He explained everything how he wants the speeches so you cant possibly screw up. So if you do good on all four mandatory speeches to pass the class and take down notes you will do GREAT!!!!!

Professor Korcok is the best! His class is overall easy. There are about four speeches, a midterm, and one extra credit opportunity. As long as you pick a topic for each speech and practice he'll give you an a A or B on the speech. The class is very intertaining. We didn't even use the book and there was no Final Exam. A fairly easy A.

He late/hate quotient of Korcok is about 50/50 in class. If you like a quirky professor who goes off topic (on interesting tangents) and teaches by showing rather than lecture, you will like him. Korcok is the nicest, most supportive professor on campus. I pissed my pants while I was giving a speech and he was there for me. I ****ed my pants when he called on me for an answer, and still, he was there me. Most other professors would have shooed me away, but not Korcok. He was there for me and he will be there for you too.

He is funny! Very insulting most of the time, but its funny. He always had an entertaining thing going. The only problem was that when it comes to grades, he isn't very serious, like with everything else. He kind of throws grades around, which is frustrating. Other than that, he has a very good class. Worth taking.

Your grade is based almost entirely off 2 debates and the preps. Many people dropped before the first debate because he IS eccentric and the topics are difficult. HOWEVER, I encourage you to stay! He really grew on me and his grading is lenient. Advice: USE YOUR CLASSMATES. Study groups saved my life (we all got A'and B's.)

At first, you will hate him. He can be annoying & weird but after a few weeks he opens up and he is AMAZING. He is VERY helpful too when you ask him questions, & he WANTS you to pass. He is a pushover when it comes to grades(almost impossible to get a C! Everyone seemed to get As or Bs) & he is reasonable. He is all bark & no bite so dont be afraid

Not your typical professor. Talks a lot about random things but keeps the class intresting. Explais things very well and the entire class is based on Speeches. Do good on those and the class is a breeze.

He is definitely a different type of professor but his class is easy if you do the speeches. He may seem snappy but he's always super nice and makes you look forward to class (if you're prepared to do your speech lol). Also, Korcok is EXTREMELY smart!!! He's a gamer too! This is a great professor and very helpful. He will keep attendance very well. I don't encourage you to miss any class. Your main grades come from the two class debates. You will Fail the class if you don't do the debates.

He is clear in what he wants from his assignments and walks you through them, they are easy to pass if you put some effort into them...obviously. Midterm is easy if you study. Apparently, people expect him to hand you a decent grade without trying hard. Work hard, follow directions.

Korcok is hilarious. Be prepared to get grilled during your debates. Don't be offended though, he does it to everybody. I was lucky enough to not be questioned and made a fool of in front of the entire class. Just make sure you have reliable sources. Loved the class & I'm not a very interactive person. Wouldn't recommend any other Prof for CommB5.

He is great at teaching the subject, he makes things clear and easy to understand. There isn't much homework aside from the speeches you have to prepare. Also he's just a great person in general and he makes the class fun and entertaining. Definitely take this class with him if you can.

I'd ask if he'd explain a specific subject during class but we never got around to it due to all of his ridiculous stories. So when t came time to turn the homework in and I told him he didn't clarify he told me to copy off someone else's homework. Other than that he's helpful and he says how you have to try hard to get an F.

Second class with him and I wish he taught more. Lovingly picks on students and is brash, but still a great teacher. Extra credit takes a day out of your life, but you get fed all day. Some homework for the first half, but the next half is all debates. Do show-offs for better grade and used as guinea pig for other students. Plus he's seriously hot!

Professor Korcock is a very funny professor, but that does not mean you will not do anything. He is very gaol oriented and will buil your confident by sometimes destroying it. His debates are so fun and educational, but they are an extreme amounts of work. I recommend this professor to anyone!

Korcok class is a walk in the park, just do your speeches and you will be fine. He gives extra letter grade for show off days. Don't purchase book, we never used. His lectures are from the book and he covers most of it. YOu will enjoy his class, very chill.

Took accelerated speech & we had to present just 4 speeches within 8 weeks. We all grew as a class & it was loads of fun. Hmwk from the wrkshts isn't required, but if u wanna learn & become better at speech then do read the txtbk & do the wrkshts to help you get that A! He's cool & he maybe sarcastic, but he wants his students to succeed! Get him!!

Homework is the usual, attendance does matter, great lectures, is helpful, taking note is best for you because they will help on test, laid back and isn't rude to students. I have taken TWO different class of his because i knew he was a COOL teacher.

Korcok's class is easy if you put in the effort. In the beginning he may seem intimidating and the class may seem daunting but its worth it to stick around. I got an A, just show up to class, take good notes, and do the assignments to the best of your ability. The debates are easy if you prepare, don't wing it.

10/10 recommend taking this professor! He was by far my most favorite at my time in Bakersfield College. Really a talented and thoughtful guy who not only cares about his students but also provides for a personable experience overall in the class.

Great Professor he is pretty tough to say the least but, he really brings the best out of you in preparing for the debates class is worth it you learn a lot but not an easy A.

Even tho he overly brags about how smart he is, hes a really good prof. He likes student imput. usually will accept late work. uses a bunch of analogies and examples to help students understand. has realistic expectations of students. the online code is not needed so don't use it until HE STATES hes uploaded work to do. Logic games are a must.

Korcok is a really fun teacher! If you're really conservative or get offended easily be aware that he makes some crazy jokes pretty much everyday. The class really isn't hard if you're not an idiot, you can pretty much BS your way through it. Recommend studying for the midterm, but it's not as scary as he makes it out to be. Took him for a hybrid comm course. Nothing was actually required online by him. It was 8 wks and she sure did hammer down and have us present 4 required speeches in that time frame. He was great and clearly knew the topic extremely well. Did not assign much hw other than the speech outlines and worksheets. Did not need to touch the textbook.

Hes kind of a mess, a little unorganized, and doesnt grade homework on time. But he definitely knows what hes talking about and hes a very nice and funny man.

It was a hybrid class but also had to come in twice a week. 4 essays are mandatory w/ outlines. You have to memorize the essays. Its sounds hard but he is a very funny and caring guy, he is blunt, gives detail of what he expects in the essays. If u want an A on the essay papers get the book. My overall grade in the class was a B.

If you do good on debates, you will pass the class. He grades the homework optional if you think you are doing bad in the class. He is an easy grader. He assigns one midterm and its part of the grade.

If youre smart youll get him. But if youre used to the same average typical normal type robotic unenthusiastic lifeless uncaring teachers, hes not for you. Professor Korcok is an AMAZING professor! The beginning half of the semester you do book work and the second you do your debates. A one on one and then a two on two. He is very helpful and shows you exactly what he expects when you are doing research for the debates. He is hilarious and cracks jokes all the time. He was one of my favorites at BC.

Mr. Korcok is a great teacher and really prepares you for whatever he assigns.

He seems strict but he just wants everyone to put in the work required to get good grades. If you make an effort hes willing to help.

Professor Korcok is overall a great professor. He does not have a filter though, so he makes jokes a lot but don't get offended. He is very lenient with assignment due dates but doesn't tell us our grades until finals day. but besides that, I highly recommend taking him.

Oh yeah, this is the professor to take! Do not even think about it. I took him in the summer and I loved this class so much. It's still one of my favorite classes I've taken and I get scared of public speaking. He made it very friendly and has so much good to share. It's fun, energetic, and well paced. He's an easy grader and very fair.

Pretty good Professor. I was expecting a very strict professor, but I was completely wrong. The work he gives might be tedious and his teaching style might be a bit wonky, but a good guy and funny too. I wouldnt mind taking another class just to have him again
