Great Teacher! His lectures are all powerpoint. He posts all assignments and lectures on the web so you can print them out and not worry about taking notes. He gives out test reviews and then tells you what is going to be on the test. As long as you do the review sheets it will be an easy A.

The class is very easy( its intro to psy by the way). as long as you show up every day and do the test review youll be fine. the class it self is actually pretty interesting. dont really need the book, but it helps when doing the test reviews. Highly recommend.

Leffingwell is seriously the best teacher ever. He is so easy going and literally tries his best to not make anything SUPER hard for us. He doesnt try to trick you with trick questions, he just wants to make sure you get the material. Also, he doesnt just lecture, he encorporates many different teaching styles like videos or activities. Take him!

Prof Leffingwell is currently my favorite prof. You learn a lot and his tests are very, very simple~ I don't remember anything bad about him at all... I passed with an A+ I would definitely take his class again.

Mr. Leffingwell is an excellent teacher. He makes you work hard, but I learned so much in his class. He gives out reviews for his tests that are very helpful so make sure to use them. As a psychology major, I plan on taking a couple more of his classes. I highly recommend him.

I took his online class this summer. He was very helpful with questions and gave excellent instructions. Read the text and do the assignments and you'll get an A. Highly recommended!

Took online. Easy class, will need book for test reviews (tests are exact same as review), discussion boards, and short answer questions. 3 exams, 11 quizzes,about 9 or so assignments, and offers extra credit. Do the work and you will make an A, not a ton of effort involved either. Putting my book on craigslist you can have it for free.

I took the class online, it was very straight forward. He reponded to emails quickly. He posted previews for the quizes and tests so you can look up the answers in the textbook before taking them. You also have mini writing assignments to keep you busy.

His lectures are awesome, he has a great sense of humor. He does a lot of extra credit that will help you get that A. His tests are easy if you read to book and pay attention in class. I definitely recommend him!

He is the best teacher I've ever had. His lectures are really interesting and he's got a great sense of humor. Lots of quizzes and in class assignments, but they're not worth a lot and he drops the lowest two grades. He gives easy extra credit too. Tests are a breeze if you've kept up. Great teacher! Very helpful. Seems intimidating at first, but once you get to know him, he rocks! If your willing to listen, participate, and attend all sessions, you should get an A if you are attentive and read. He is fair and I would recommend him for any class he teaches.

I took his class online. Everything was clear, he gave plenty of time for assignments to be completed. He was friendly. Tests based off of bookwork. The only thing I disliked was that he only gives 15 minutes for quizzes, sometimes. Other than that, I liked him.

Very Easy class, he is prompt with email and returning calls. I did not purchase a book just used presentations and did great. his assignments are fairly simple and test come straight from powerpoints. Would recommend taking him I made an A+ will little time taken away from kids and work ;-) The research paper is a little different so start early.

The class was pretty easy. He lectures and everyone takes notes, but he posts reviews before each test that you can use to study. I got all As just from doing the reviews and never read a page outside of that. Good teacher.

I took his online summer class and it was a easy A. As long as you do the online discussions and the short answers you will get a 100 for just participation. He offers extra credit as well. I would recommend this class to anyone, if you have a question he is a little delayed with responding back

the tests come straight from his powerpoints, and the majority of the time notes are allowed. tests are super easy though so notes weren't necessary for a lot of it. he tells you during lectures what points are going to be on the test so it's not wise to skip, but not impossible to get an A if you do.

This class is an easy A if you study the book. The quizzes and exams are multiple choice but some of the questions are confusing and do not come from the book. Short answer and discussion board assignments are also easy but the book is needed for research. Professor Leffingwell does give extra credit but you shouldn't need it to pass with an A.

I had Professor Leffingwell for Honors Intro to Psych and honestly the class was a hit or miss. Sometimes the lectures were interesting and kept my intrigued and other times I sat there with my eyes glazed over. The tests aren't hard. Before them he asks if you have any questions and will review for you. Read the textbook because he's sporadic.

He gives 12 quizzes and drops lowest score on one. You'll take 3 tests. He's very clear on what he expects. He covers a chapter a week. You'll get an assignment and a 10 question quiz almost every week. Do not think you can find answers in the book, you will not have time. I would take him again. He gives you more than one try on most quiz's.

Mr. Leffingwell was a great teacher. Any questions you may have had, he was always willing to answer and help. He does go a little fast in his lectures but he also makes them available via BB(blackboard). I finish the class with a B ! This class was a little difficult (for me)but if you pay attention and read you'll do fine !

ONLINE CLASS - Must read assigned chapters weekly to do good. Probably a good 2-4 hours reading weekly. Discussion board and quiz every week. 10 questions with 20 min. 2 quizzes were 25 questions in 30 min. Finals are 50 questions in 60 min and tough if you don't read and study his materials. I enjoyed the class. He is clear on expectations.

You have a week to read a chapter and take a quiz. Exams aren't difficult if you read the material. No papers or term projects.

This is a fairly easy class. The online class has assignments due every Sunday and they are posted every Monday so it allows you a full week to complete the assignments.

I took Leffingwell online for psych 2301 summer semester and I would definitely recommend him. There are clear directions of what you need to do and when you need to do it by. Answers emails promptly, and gives extra credit!

I took Leffingwell Spring 2016 online after being out of school for 8-9yrs. This was a great class to take. Every test and quiz are timed but you have multiple attempts (quizzes only) I found if you actually read the chapters you should pass not needing the 2nd attempt. He offered soooo much extra credit! I would take him again and again!

Really easy online class. a quiz each week, 2 attempts with answers. A couple tests, taken 1 time. A few short answer questions and some discussion board assignments. Really hard to fail when given multiple times to take the quizzes.

Hands down BEST professor ever! You will not regret taking his class! Out of school for 11 years, thankful to have had him for PSYC. Passed with an A. Lots of EC, all tests were 50 questions. Read the chapter OR read from his PowerPoints and you will pass. Very caring and funny! Can't give him enough praise! I think he should have been tipped heavily/gifted by everyone at the end of the semester! Haha After taking his class, I am consider changing my Major from Nursing to Psychology. He's that amazing!

Class was alright, didn't give any feedback on short answer responses or discussion boards. LOTS of extra credit, do ALL of it. I would suggest working with a classmate with very assignments.

This was the first online class I've ever taken and I was really nervous because it was only 5 weeks. Everything was very straight forward. You get two attempts on the quizzes and exams. There were a few discussion boards and short answer questions that were easy. This class was an easy A and I highly recommend taking Professor Leffingwell.

He is really laid back and easy. The test were not that hard just gotta remember the vocab. Had a lot of extra credit opportunities do them !! The makeup test at the end helped the most with my grade. Study you notes and that's all you need in the class to pass.

The professor is super laid back and very easy to approach. It was kind of hard to communicate with him outside of class but i hardly had to. The tests were easy after looking at the study guides and doing the vocabulary.

Leffingwell is an awesome professor, but he's a little unorganized. However, you will learn a lot and should get a good grade if you put in good effort.

I took this class online and it was an easy A!!! Had one quiz a week, a few short answer assignments that took about 10 minutes to finish. All the answers are in the book or online. This was definitely the EASIEST class to take online and his power point presentations were easy to read and interesting!! Great teacher!!!!

He makes taking online classes easier (especially if you have a job). One db or short answer and one quiz a week and they're due on sunday's. It's an easy class and it's pretty fun too

Best prof that I had all Fall2019 semester his class was the only one I wanted to show up to! He has very good lectures and keeps u involved. U dont have to have your textbook he puts everything online for you to look back on but its nice to have for tests. You can use a notecard on tests also.

The online course had quizzes every week. Read the chapters it will help you understand the notes. Overall, it was a bit challenging because you must understand the concept for the quizzes and exams but other assignments are relatively easy. Extra credit offered.

Quizzes were found on quizlet but the 4 exams were proctored. All the exam questions can be found in the book but was hard to look up each chapter in a limited time. The discussion boards and short answers were easy. The class is easy but you need the book to pass i would say!

Hes a goof professor, i really enjoyed taking his class. Everything is relatively easy in this class be sure to get everything done on time. I had a few problems taking exam through proctor and he takes a little while to review and respond to emails so you have to be patient on that and takes time on grading things. I cant complain though! take him

If you want an easy class, take him. My only complaint would be that I didn't really learn anything. He lets you take 3 index cards for the exams but I never really needed them because he would either let us take our tests home or use a computer/phone on it. Only 10 assignments the whole semester but he drops the 2 with the lowest grades at the end

Definitely teaches from the Socratic method, does a great job of asking thought provoking questions. A little scatterbrained at times, but who isn't. PowerPoints have great external links connected to the subject which gives you the opportunity to dive deeper into the topic. Tests are extremely easy as long as you review the PowerPoints.

I really enjoyed this class. If you read the chapters and show up to class, you'll do great! There is a lot of reading but i found it interesting so it wasnt that bad. Tests are easy if you prepare yourself.

Class consisted primarily of four unit tests and occasional quizzes. It takes a mix of attending lectures, going through his PowerPoints, and reading the book to get a stellar grade. As much as I like him as a person, this was one of the most disorganized classes I took. Rarely graded things on time, was often late to class, but overall a good guy!

I took a summer psychology course with Professor Leffingwell and it was very straight to the point. Consistent instructions every week with the same layout for every unit. Consists of small chapter quizzes and unit exams, would definitely take again.

Professor Leffingwell is a great teacher with a legitimate background in psychology. He's very knowledgeable and will help you if you ask for it. It was fun having him in the fall semester of 2021. My only criticism is communication. He would get back to students a week later. Nevertheless, a great professor.

Loved his lectures. Funny guy and great teacher. Offers plenty of extra credit. He posts plenty of resources and slides on Canvas but I would still get the textbook. My class was hybrid so we'd read at home and he'd go over it in class. Quizzes and exams (proctored) were online. He drops the 2 lowest assignments and makeup exam can replace lowest 1

Professor Leffingwell has thorough and entertaining lectures. He also puts the powerpoints and videos on canvas which is really helpful for studying. He gives a few random extra credit assignments during class so definitely try to be there as much as you can! Overall if you're needing a psych class I'd recommend him
