He is a poor teacher, he is amusing but when it comes to teaching the class, he is terrible, goes a mile a minute and keeps saying hurry, hurry you have 5 seconds to try to keep up with him or is three steps ahead and he doesn't stop to try to help

If you've taken CISN 140 and 141, this will seem much easier. A ton of reading in a short period of time. The packet tracer exams are tough. Make sure you do the labs. A great class for those who want to learn Cisco Networking. Geeked-out on the lectures. Loved the class.

Professor L'Estrange used NetAcad for the linux course content, which is pretty good; it's also free for the course students. He lectures 2x/week and has the recordings posted on the course site for later viewing. Bash scripting takes up the 1st half of the course, then you get into other administrative-type monitoring tasks. no installs/config.
