Very good teacher who wants you to learn but at the same time have fun. Class is very laid back but requires a good deal of outside work. However a fairly easy grader.

This is the 2nd semester I've had Mike as a teacher and he is by far the best math teacher I've ever had. He's always there to help students who need it and he really cares about his students. If I have to take math again, I wouldnt take it with anyone but him.

MAT 122/142-By far the best Math Professor I have ever had. Michael is such an inspiration to his students and a very help full professor who truly cares about his students. Michael is interested in watching his students grow and achieve their goals. I have not great at math at all but Little crow makes it easy to learn Math and teaches visually.

This Teacher is amazing! I am a teachers worst nightmare when it comes to math because it takes me forever to comprehend it and he always took the time to help me without hesitation! He is focused on individualized learning and helping all his students succeed. I highly suggest him!

I've taken Michael for all of the math courses that I've taken, and he literally is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He literally will change your perspective on other instructors. He is what being a true "teacher" means. If math isn't your thing, it will be after this class.

Little Crow made math easy to understand by applying math to real life factors. This teacher was always on time and willing to stay late to help students. I took this class before and did not pass with another teacher. So I can say this; I was not good with the subject from the start. However,Little Crow made Math easy to understand.

I failed math on 2 different occasions until I began taking Little Crow, this man has the ability to explain things in a patient manner and genuinely gives you every opportunity to succeed. I have passed both math 92 and math 140 with A's. First the first time I genuinely enjoy math. I would highly recommend him if you struggle with math.

The best math instructor I've ever had. Little Crow has tons of patience and takes the time to explain every new concept in a way that just makes sense. Very easy-going, and possibly a little too easy on grading, but still makes sure you learn the course content. I just wish he taught higher math courses! Highly recommended!

I took his 122 during summer school in 2014, he got me through. Explains things really well. I also took his Math 142 for Fall. I got an A. If you do the work and show up you will get a good grade. Math 142 was a really interesting class and it applied to everyday life. You will use these skill that that this classes offers. A must take class.

He allows you do math the way it makes sense to you, there is more than ONE way to work problems & there is more than ONE way to show him you understand! He is also very accommodating when unexpected things happen that derail your semester. He will work with you to get you through it. Give him tenure!!

In the first week of lecture, Professor Little-Crow presented the concept of Vedic Math. He took the time to explain the significance of mathematics. He is a respectful professor who cares about the success of the student. He will throughly explain how to solve equations, without getting frustrated like most professors.

Best math teacher I've ever had. I took online class and it's work at your own pace, no deadlines, be careful though to not fall behind. there are two mini projects he has you do, as well, but they are not difficult.

The absolute best Math Instructor I have ever had. Makes learning simple and will teach you the simplest learning. I will take him for every math class if I can. This class was a lot of online homework. This was a hybrid class for me.

One of my favorite teachers at SCC. Only teaches what you need to know, he prepares you well for test and final. Doesn't take attendance as part of grade-Lectures were short and to the point. I would take him for every Math course if I could. Good teacher, cares about students-I went into the final with a 100% in his class. Easiest class by far.

BEST MATH PROFESSOR EVER! In the past I would always get below a B in math and taking this class with Little Crow, I got an A for the first time ever. He is ALWAYS there for you when you need help. Most caring professor ever! I love that There are NO due dates so you can do you're work at you're own pace. So many extra credit opportunities and you should do them because they benefited me so much! At first 12 chapters seems like a lot but once you get going its not that bad. Easy class and great!

Even though the class was in person, you don't even need to go to class because attendance isn't mandatory. So you can treat it as an online class. First day he gives extra credit. This summer class he started making youtube videos for the math and each time I didn't come to class, I could watch him explain the problems in his videos and understand the problems easily with his explanations. So if you don't understand math, watch his youtube videos! They helped me so much!

He gives lots of extra credit opportunities and allows you to retake tests to improve your grade. There are also no due dates on the online hw which was helpful because I didnt feel rushed. Little Crow is the head of the math department and loves his students. I highly recommend taking him as an instructor. He put his students needs/wants on the top of his list so that the semester goes smoothly. On a personal level, he is very understanding and accommodates the needs of his students. Mr. LIttle Crow has moved to ASU to complete his Doctorate in Native American Studies. He helped me to overcome my fears of Math , in both the Math classes I took from him. I highly recommend taking Professor Crow's MAT 117 class. He is super nice and easy to communicate with. He also explains the material very well. His number one priority is to help students pass.

Mr. Little Crow is a great math teacher and simply a really nice person. I had his MAT 142 class at ASU and it was honestly a breeze. Some of the topics were tricky, but its math so it happens. He is a huge help, so just ask him, hes always smiling, hes just awesome. I highly recommend him, he also drops low scores (occasionally). Take his class!

Little Crow is the kindest professor I've had, he genuinely wants to make sure you pass. The course material is online which makes it a bit difficult if you get stuck, but do the exam reviews and you should get an A in the class because the exam reviews are exactly like the exams.

This was his first year at ASU, and I think that he's definitely TOO easy. The content is 100% on ALEKS, and he lets you take the last test early, so I didn't have to go to class the last two and a half weeks. He's really nice though, so don't be afraid to ask him about your grades if you submit things late, or get a low grade on your tests.

Highly recommend taking his class, he's very sweet and gives extra credit in order for you to succeed. The class in online so be prepared to learn all the materials by yourself, ask TA's for help and go to tutoring.

He now teaches Brief Calculus at GCU. Sweetest professor ever. Very understanding and caring. He doesn't believe in attendance or late penalties. I honestly attended his Zoom lectures just because I respect him. Choose him!

I was never a strong math student and struggled a lot. However, Professor Little Crow has made math my favorite subject, as well as my best one. I went from getting as low as 40% on high school math tests, to upper 90s on exams in MAT210 with him as my teacher. He makes the class so engaging, and is one of the nicest teachers I have ever had.
