Awesome teacher! Sooo glad I had him!

He uses his own personal experiences (which should be a comedy show in itself) to explain what he is teaching. But be prepared, he wants everyone in the class to be involved. I've taken 4 of his classes and I plan on taking the last 2 that he teaches.

I LOVE MR. MALONEY'S CLASS! His class is awesome. I would never consider his tests to be hard because every test comes directly from the notes you take in class. "Here it comes" begins every set of notes. His notes are formatted and quick but very helpful! (Hint Hint: He LOVES home baked bread!!)

Best teacher ever. If you take psy. or soc. with anyone else at CSM you are making a big mistake.

Best teacher on campus. You dont even open your book all semester. All your tests come straight from him and sometimes u can bribe him with brownies to let you use notes on tests. If you can get him for a class, def take it

Maloney was one of the best teachers I have had in college so far. Everything was made interesting, and put in a format I understand. He was patient, and as long as you followed the rules, you did awesome!

Professor Maloney is an awsome teacher!!! As long as you pay attention, participate and follow his rules the class is alot of fun. The tests are easy, but pay attention in class. His test are directly out of his lectures!!!!!, but think critically on them!!! The paper at the end of the semester is alot of fun!!!!!

He is a fun Prof. I took the sociolog class with him, and i think he teaches psychology too, but he definately made sociology pretty interesting....class discussions...always be ready to participate..participate..speak up....and get an easy A.....pay attention in class, take notes, and you will do fine in the exams i.e. an A .

By far the best professor I have ever had, and ever will have! Extraordinarily informed about his topics (he knows about all of them from first-hand experiences!) and makes every topic memorable. He will only test on his notes (sometimes open notes if you ask!), not book material, so dont buy the book. Ask him about bodyguarding for Elvis!

TAKE HIM He is an awesome teacher i had him for both psychology and sociology and i got an A in both. his classes are super easy but u learn so much jus from his lectures. dont buy the book for either class if u have him his test are right from his lecture. my favorite teacher by far and highly recommended

Awesome prof. He lets you know exactly what will be on the tests. As long as you pay attention in class and understand what he is talking about it is an easy A. If you don't understand something ASK, he always has multiple examples at the ready. Since his tests are straight from his notes don't buy the book; you'll never use it.

The best teacher I have ever had. You leave his class feeling ten times smarter than what you were when you walked in. Super EASY tests but you have to LISTEN AND TAKE GOOD NOTES. Take in all his examples and really think about them, and you will pass the class. AWESOME CLASS but as he says "I'm not the professor for everyone". I loved it!

If you want to learn Psych, take Maloney. He will teach you everything you need to know and more. He goes beyond the text and makes sure you know and understand everything he teaches. Make sure to study for his tests. 4-5 hours to receive an A. I love you Michael, thank you for the education. Words I'll never forget. :)

I marked him in the middle on grading ONLY because you have to study the notes you take in class. His tests come directly from the notes, so if you don't study, you won't pass. This man is the best professor I had. I am currently taking his Psych 1010 and Soc 1010 class. They are highly attention grabbing, educational, and comical. I never want to miss a class, even when I am not feeling well. I wish I had not already signed up for spring semester classes. I do not want to think about a semester without dear Mr. Maloney.

Very Easy class. Show up, listen, and take notes. Very few assignments and the tests are very easy. He makes the class very intereseting and you actually enjoy going. Hardly used the book, if at all. You learn so much just by listenting.

Maloney will try to scare you the first day into thinking he is strict as anything, but in reality he's fun loving, passionate about the classes he teaches, and demands thoughtfulness and critical thinking from students. His tests are based 100% off his notes, so write down everything that comes out of his mouth, study it, and you'll do fine.

He answers all questions and is just an awesome person to be around. I've taken SOC1010 and PSY1010 with him and I loved them both so much that I signed up for PSY2350 with him in the fall! When I read all of these rave reviews that said he was "life changing" I didn't really think much of it but he really is. This was my first semester of college and he became one of my favorite teachers ever. His lectures are interesting so you won't be watching the clock. Definitely choose him for psychology or sociology if you can.

Professor Maloney gives amazing lectures. This was by far my favorite class I have taken so far. He will gladly answer any questions you may have, and explain until you understand. Maloney is an amazing professor, his lectures are long, book is not needed, you get to vote whether or not you want a test. do not skip class, you will drop a letter grade.

All the hype is true, Maloney is perfect. Take him at all costs. He's hilarious, helpful, but he does expect full participation. Don't worry about that, because you'll want to participate here. Note taking is critical, since it's basically your textbook. My class opted to take tests online, so pretty much open notes. Easy A and a great experience.

This is a must take class with him. He definitely knew what he was talking about and is very fun to learn by. He definitely took time to help each student out. All of his test were online and did not need the book.

The class challenges you to make decisions based off of logic and reasoning. Critical thinking is essential!

I have had Maloney for two years now. He is the best teacher you will ever have. Yes, participation matters but as long as you participate, you will do well. He will do whatever it takes to help you pass and/or get a good grade.

Maloney is an amazing professor but he is "not for everyone" which I don't see how he isn't. Students vote on how they wanted the class to be. If you choose extra credit, he gives it to for doing just about anything. I got an A without doing any. If you take this class be prepared to have a good time. Lastly, be sure to read your book. ; )

michael f Maloney is an amazing teacher. he lets the students choose how the class process will go and how many tests you'll have. he also will let you take an open note test at home if your class participates in class and everyone actually does the tests. he is straightforward with his grading so there's no room for arguments.

All i can say is Mr Maloney was a wonderfull professor to have. His class votes on if they want to test or not. He always helps his students all the time with any issue they habe with the material or exams as long as you show effort.
