Amazing professor!!!

Very good teacher. Super easy marker, makes things interesting. He goes over everything on a powerpoint presentation, and only the information he goes over will be on the tests/exams. Overall really nice, and I would definitely take him again!

I think he is one of the best profs Seneca has. I love his teaching style, extremely helpful and extremely easy marker. He encourages his students to the best. I would always recommend him.

Probably the best prof in Seneca. His ability to level down with students and show a genuine interest in their success as well as possessing a very crisp and efficient teaching style makes him the best prof you can ask for. Real Life Economics class with Michael Manbahal was a great learning experience overall. The combination of lectures, current events discussions, newspaper articles related to the topics covered in class, clear explanations, and his knowledge/experience about economics itself was the reason why I passed the course with a 75%. Awesome class!

People, Money, and Markets class with this professor was a great experience. Had him for Real Life Economics earlier in the year. Great professor. So knowledgeable about economics. Teaches it so nicely, wants you to succeed, and helps you after class which is great for tests and exams. Michael Manbahal really prepares you for exams. Take his class!

The course itself is NOT easy but he tries to help you as much as possible. How well a student does in his class is determined by how much heshe studies for quizzes and tests. He will teach from the PowerPoint and it's all upon you to learn that material. He does NOT push you to do well and how well you do is about discipline.

Michael is one of my favourite professors at Seneca. He genuinely wants his students to succeed and does a great job at helping them do that. He is extremely helpful and clear in terms of his teaching style. He always made sure everyone understood the material and was very willing to help. He kept lectures interesting and was very kind.

Great professor. I'm actually looking to major in Economics because of Michael. Looking forward to taking Macro with him. He genuinely wants everyone to do well and will answer all your questions. Economics is tough, so you need to be disciplined and do work on your own as well, to pass his tests. His lectures are the most helpful, so don't skip!

While he does put a lot of effort into teaching, you won't do well in his class if you are a lazy student. This is because he doesn't really motivate you and doesn't "pushes" anyone. Also, most of the course is from tests and the final exam. Therefore, if your lazy you'll get a really poor grade.

This guy is awesome! He explains things so clearly, you can see through the board! He tells you exactly what you need to know and gives you really good practice questions for the tests. He is fair and makes things easy to understand! He does a lot of group work which can be annoying but other than that, he is amazing!

Michael is like Mr. Sweet guy, extremely nice. He's approachable, patient, respectful, understanding, and easy going. You will enjoy his class because he is not threatening. The only thing I notice is he gives higher marks to his favourites. He's review tips are not enough, so study more! Overall, it was always relaxing and fun in his class!

He's great and is willing to organize extra lectures for students before major tests if they don't understand things. He explains clearly and gives you practice questions to help with tests. He really wants his students to do well. Looking forward to taking ECN502 with him.

Michael Manbahal explains the concepts of microeconomics very clearly and, if asked, is willing to review the lesson. His PowerPoint slides are extremely helpful for the tests and exams. Study the slides, take notes in class, and you will get an easy A.

Michael is the most chill prof I've had so far. Class is lecture heavy, but he lightens it up with class discussions and videos. For midterms and final exams, he doesn't tell you what specific topics to focus on, and the format is m/c and short answers(graphs and explanation). Also, ask him about Trump if you want to have a funny discussion.

Michael is probably the only professor that cares so much for his students. He was always so understanding and I've had the great honour to be in his ECN501 and ECN502 class and I don't regret it one bit! You'll definitely learn alot in his class.

He's not THAT great of a professor like some reviews here make it seem, but he is a really, really cool and likable guy which explains why people love him. He cares about his students. THE BEST ECON PROF. He was my prof for half the semester. He always make sure that the students understand the concepts. He provides a lot of examples.

He is one of the best teachers I have ever seen. If you attend the classes, A is almost guaranteed. Even just with his slides, A is in the pocket. He asks what he teaches, not anyhing else.

He's an awesome and understanding teacher. He tries to explain the difficult topics in the easiest way possible for every student. I feel like buying the textbook is a waste of money because he already explains everything in the slides. I did not touch my textbook once to be honest, but I highly suggest you take his class.

Michael is one of the best professors that I have ever met. He gives clearly an instruction and test what he taught in class. The test is focused on basic concepts. He is a pretty good Professor. His class in enroll day is fully packed in 30 seconds. Please remember it and put his class in your cart in advance.

BEST TEACHER YOU CAN TAKE FOR THIS CLASS. He makes Economics such an easy topic because of how he teaches it. Always recaps the last lecture in case you forgot or didn't understand. Don't hesitate to ask him questions, he will explain it to you until you understand it. I did not need the textbook but it is good for when you are studying alone.

ECN230 isn't math-heavy and Michael takes extra care in explaining topics in a way that you won't need any previous knowledge coming in. He marks generously and his quizzes/tests are simple if you attend the lectures. Michael's lectures are well-planned and engaging. He really knows his stuff. The best prof ever by caring and teaching by all his passion ! He understand very well about economy and that was shown in every classes. Also he is understanding and giving easy grades to every students. My first assignment was given in a week by him and we asked for the prolong, he give us 2 week in the following assignment for preparation!!

This class is exactly what an elective class has to be. Throughout the semester, I only had 2 assignments and 4 quizzes. And even that was super easy and took a very little time to do. For those who are looking for an easy class with little course work and wants to get your GPA higher I would say go for it. You won't regret.

Professor Manhahal makes class manageable for students with the work he assigns. It's reasonable and he includes clear grading criteria. Additionally, his lectures are clear, simple, and straightforward.

His lectures were so crystal clear even the uninterested student's attention will get caught. His quizzes and exams are relatively easy compared to what I had in ECN501. He encourages participation naturally and doesn't force it among students. Very approachable and accommodating.
