This is such a great teacher. You'll never ever regret if you take this class. The lectures are very interesting, the tests are very straight forward, and the professor is very helpful. Just study the handouts from the teacher and u'll be fine.

pretty good easy teacher..has a lot of interesting stories to tell..esp abt sex and his early dayz. Papers were is easy as heck..if u jus have a pulse u should so fine..hes a students teacher..tests r sooo easy...u jus need to recog 1 word and he make up bogus choices for the other answers..i had only 6 mistakes out of 120 questions from allthe tes

Simply one of the most amazing professors at Oakton. hardvard grad who knows what he is talking about. 3 easy tests, and three very easy papers. No need to buy the book. Makes class interesting. Highly recommended.

In all honesty, he is the BEST teacher i had at Oakton. Very funny and engaging, and tells interesting stories to make the subject matter fun. After taking two of his classes (intro to psy, hum development) i would take another because of how good i felt after class.

He is fun, entertaining, loves his job, and very fair teacher. He teaches like all teachers should. TAKE HIS CLASS and you will never regret it.

its true you dont have to buy the book, its true hes very clear and tests and assignments are very easy. its also true, hes a lot of fun and he obviously enjoys the subject and teaching. you will learn despite yourself ... you would have to work very hard to do poorly in his class.

meyerhoff is a wonderful teacher and reallys know a lot about this subject. attendance is key and the tests are very straight forward. lectures are interesting and he really has a way of captivating an audience with jokes and stories. he wants you to do well!

Amazing teacher, learned a lot. 4 hours everyday, felt much much shorter. Easiest A I've ever gotten, too. Just read the notes, and don't be an idiot, and you'll get an A.

discussions are very clear, relates almost everything to real life experiences so learning is simple and interesting. he'll inspire u to really THINK and do well. there's no reason 4 u to get a bad grade, not because this is an easy subj but for the motivation u'll get to earn good grades.

THE BEST! 3 Tests 3 Essays. Not a hard class because you have the notes pre written for you and stars next to what will be on the test. Nice guy and corny funny. Take him for a sure good grade and a smile out the door!

He is the BEST professor I have come across in my oakton experience. He makes humor out of serious life issues. His class would be easy to blow off and get an A but almost everyone participates because of his infectous personality. He is truely a diamond in the ruff when it comes to oakton professors. Harvard education on an Oakton budget.

Excellent professor. He extremely clear about everything, and the notes he hands out are spectacular. He likes what he teaches, and teaches with great enthusiasm. He's very funny, and has (funny)comparisons of any topic at hand to the real-world. As many have said, do not buy the book.

AMAZING teacher. straight to the point. 95% of the test is from the stufy guide that he gives you. Really funny guy with great anecdotes. Laid back guy. It's easy but at the same time, very informational. only like 3 VERY easy papers to write.

THE MOST AMAZING TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD. This is one of classes where you learn and you like it. i learned SO MUCH & im not the best student. When he explains the theories & terms he gives CLEAR examples of all of them so its easy to understand. Everything on the test is in the notes he gives you. Study the ones with the * and you'll get an A. EASY.

Seriously one of the best teachers ever. Gives you everything you need to know on the first day. You dont have to buy the book but i used it for more complete definitions of some terms in my papers but what he gives you is sufficient. Very funny too. Seems to care about attendance but doesnt as long as you get an A hes happy.

Best teacher ever! I wish all professors were like Meyerhoff. He's very straightforward on what you need to do to get an A. Gives you no busywork and the papers are fairly easy. just read the directions! no book needed. lectures were pretty interesting. just get to class on time though.

This teacher was great. He was one of my favorite teachers at Oakton. He teaches and goes through everything on the notes he gives you. Asks if there are any questions on topics, and makes class entertaining. He's a great funny guy and has all the knowledge on his subject. Easy A, he doesn't accept anything lower ;)

hes not as easy as you think. The tests are easy, but he grades the papers togher than an english teacher!!...he doesn't give 50% atleast for trying but a straight 0!!

I fell inlove with his class, if you have a choice, take him. He is wonderful, he gives you a different out look on our society, which I never even thought about. "Psychologists are idiots," as he says. But he is sure not one of them... I wish i took all teh classes with him:)

You don't need the book, he gives you a packet with everything you need to know and makes a note of exactly what is on the test. You have 3 papers and he tells you exactly how to do them. If you can't get an A in this class you are a moron. Show up on time and don't leave early and he'll like you.

He is very intelligent in this subject. often times he makes it funny too. he makes this class and informative. i got an A by studying his notes. He is very willing to look over papers before the due dates! He is very helpful. Attendance is required. he accepts only two absents!

very good profesor. only three test and papers. very caring and funny. makes learning fun for everybody. looks over rough drafts of papers if you need help or in doubt of what to write. Old school professor,so do not be late. Have respect. Other than that, very funny lectures(believe me you'll laugh hard) but brings material down to you in a way that sticks to your memory.So definately a must professor for all psychology classes.

Wonderful teacher. Willing to help if you ask. Asks for only three papers and three exams. No homework. Has notes prepared and you are tested based on it. As for papers he gives you the instructions on the first day and explains how to do well on it.

excellent teacher,very knowledgeable and funny. Had 3 papers and 3 tests the whole semester and no busy work. You can pass this class as long as you work hard on those and show up. If you are taking psychology take it with this teacher.

A must professor for PSY. He is very clear on what he wants and also very helpful. 3 papers and 3 exams. Exams are easy because he gives you notes and that is all that you study. The way he explains sticks to memory. Papers are easy too, if you understand the topic which is not a problem. Don't be late to class! Excellent professor!

Be on time, or he will make fun of you if you arrive to class late. exams are based off the notes he will give you on the first day of class. honestly, this is an essay class but it does require EFFORT. Best teacher ever taking his classm along with PSych 101 is one of teh reason why i decided to major in Psychology in the first place. I highly recommend taking his class.

This probably was the best class I ever took at Harper. He is one of the best teachers ever. Attendance is mandatory and DONT be late, he will call you out. He gives you the information you need to know straight up and he gives real life examples to help you learn the concepts. You don't use the book. I highly recommend Professor Meyerhoff!

Crude sense of humor. Everything that you will be tested on is handed to you on a silver platter. You will easily ACE the class if you memorize the handful of notes he assigns for each test. He clearly wants you to succeed.

He was very interesting to learn from, considering he is a major psychology professor. He gives VERY clear outlines and it is very easy to pass his class if you attend class and listen to his lectures. Yes, he does lecture a lot, but if you're into psych you'll really enjoy it.
