Great teacher! Made class very interesting to go to and very helpful! You should do well if you study with notes. Very straight forward. Best thing is that hes a hot Canadian!

Professor Midgley is a wonderful man and enthusiastic professor. He truly cares about his students and is readily available to help outside of class. His tests can be tricky, and grades in this class are all over the place. However, if you study his powerpoints in detail, you should be just fine.

His class was very challenging but manageable. He gives plenty of opportunities to meet outside of class, and he is very willing to explain things multiple times.

His tests are hard, but if you review the notes and powerpoints and take the time to meet with him outside of class, you will be fine. He is not straightforward with what you need to know for the tests, so just make sure you understand all the information.

Without a doubt the best professor I've ever had at Quinnipiac. He made the class interesting and concepts easy to understand. Exams were a little difficult but he always told us what we would need to know and what not to waste our time studying. If you go to class, pay attention, and study, it is easy to do well in this class.

Wonderful teacher!!! I wanted to take him again for 2nd semester anatomy, but his section was closed. 3 hour classes are rough, but Prof Midgley makes them engaging. You have to work hard for your grade, but if you pay attention in class and review his powerpoints, you will do well.

Awesome professor. He's smart, funny and cares about the success of his students. Tests aren't easy, but they're manageable if you put the effort in. Professor Midgley is great. It is hard to stay focused in a three hour class, but he makes his PowerPoints pretty interesting. He also gives breaks during the class! His tests are not easy if you don't study a decent amount for them. But he is always there to meet with you and responds to emails very quickly. I would definitely take him!

Literally amazing. He puts so much effort into the class and you can tell he truly cares about how his students are doing. His exams are not too bad, but as long as you study hard you'll do great. I got all 90's and then one bad grade and still ended up with an A-. Loved his class which I could take him again.

He's one of the easier professors to take for anatomy. You just need to study off the powerpoints he gives and you're golden. Obviously anatomy isn't an easy subject, but he is very straightforward (no surprises on test). Great guy and is pretty funny.

He is a pretty good professor during lab, but it is impossible to get a good grade on his tests or lab reports. Extremely diffuser grader and test questions are very confusing. Do not recommend taking.

He is a very tough grader and nit picky even though he claims he's not. Lab reports are graded very harshly along with lab presentations and he makes his lab test unnecessarily difficult. Good guy but wouldn't take again, like ever.

I had Professor Midgley for BIO211L and to be honest I don't think I would take it again. He is a great guy and I enjoyed going to class in the begging but near the end it was pretty bad because the tests were very tough, and we often had to do self directed learning which is on the test. He makes things more difficult than they have to be, a lot.

Very clear and thorough in lecture. Will go through things multiple times of you dot understand them. Not a huge fan of the way he organizes his power points, but he always gives extra resources and activities for practice. He's also adorable and has a very cute personality.. you will enjoy looking at him during class.

I had Professor Midgley for BIO211 Lecture, and I can honestly say that he was one of the best professors I have ever had in my time at Quinnipiac. Professor Midgley makes a sincere effort to get all 60+ students in the class engaged in every lecture, and he makes it a point to include humor in all of his powerpoints, successfully. Exams are fair!

Professor Midgley does exactly what a teach is supposed to do, make any topic relatable, relevant, and interesting. He starts class with EDM, his test are as straight forward as they come, and he's just a cool dude.

I absolutely loved this class! Professor Midgley made it so interesting and it wasn't like the typical boring monotone lecture at all! I feel like I actually understood what I learned and for someone who doesn't love anatomy, that's huge. I would definitely take his class again!

Midgley is a OUTSTANDING professor. Yes, he is teaching anatomy, it is a hard class. However, Prof. Midgley gives you everything and MORE to pass. He always goes out of his ways for his students. Anyone that says he isn't easy probably didn't do well because A & P is tough. Not because Midgley made it that way. Hands down phenomenal professor.

He is not one of those teachers that you can show up and get an easy A but if you simply attend class and study a little bit, this class will be easy to pass. Tests are all multiple choice and moderate difficulty. I would definetly take him again as he is very clear and makes class interesting.

It's a hard subject so the class is a bit challenging but he tries to make it as fun and painless as possible. He is a very fair teacher and really cares about all his students. Professor Midgley is a great professor. His lectures are never boring because he always puts humor into them and tries to change it up. I had him for lab and lecture and enjoyed both. He even tries to make his assignments fun to do. As long as you study hard and pay attention you will do well (just like any other anatomy class).

I LOVE Professor Midgley. He was the only professor I made sure I had again for my second semester at QU. He is extremely relatable to the students and has excellent powerpoints. Gives many tricks to help remember bones, muscles, and organs. His class was what I looked forward to every week. HIGHLY recommend. Plus he is very easy on the eyes!

WOW Midgley is a gem! Anatomy is tough, and Midgley knows that. He teaches off his powerpoints, but makes it interesting with videos, demonstrations, and stories. He has us watch screen recordings, but they are very clear to understand. He is open and willing to help you and you can tell he cares about his students. He is also hilarious, TAKE!!!

Professor Midgley is amazing! Coming into BIO 211L, I was very nervous about being able to get anything higher then a B. However Professor Midgley has so many acronyms and tricks for us to remember everything. He is very clear about what will or what will not be on each exam. I am very sad that I did not get him again next semester :(

Professor Midgley is a great professor that really cares about the class and the students. His lectures are easy to understand and exams are right from the PowerPoint. His exams aren't hard if you study. He lets class out usually 10 minutes early. He tells funny jokes and loves talking about a Canadian band from his home town.

Midgley made Anatomy one of my favorite classes ever. He makes waking up for an 8 am seem easy and really makes his students feel prepared as well as cared about. If you have the opportunity to take him, do it regardless of the class time

He is caring & constantly checks in with the class to see if they are following along. He tries his best to simplify the material and demonstrate in mini activities which makes it funny. He plays music while he waits for class to starts & always talks about his band to lighten the mood. He occasionally gives treats for rewards. A creative teacher.

I have never met a professor who cares more about his students. I didn't do as well as I hoped to in his class but every time I met with him he would give me advice on how to do better and makes himself available for whoever needs him. His tests are kinda tricky but his lectures are always entertaining & he tries to relay the info in many ways.

I wish I took Prof. Midgley both semesters. His exams are not easy but if you put in the time and the work, he tells you exactly how to study for them so they become manageable. His 8am lecture was not as brutal as I expected it to be and thoroughly explains the tough material in a way that is less painful to understand. TAKE!!

Professor Midgley is my absolute favorite professor. He cares alot about his students and finds ways to explain difficult concepts very easy to understand. Loved going to his lecture even though it was at 8 am but very worth it. His tests can be some what difficult and if you don't study you won't do well. TAKE NOTES and READ BEFORE CLASS!

Professor Midgley is one of the top BIO 211 lab professors. Although labs are long he makes sure to always have engaging activities that will help you learn and memorize the material. He is always there to help explain anything that you need help with and he is very honest with what will be on the exams. Definitely take him!

Absolute king of a professor, he really gets to know his students and ensures proper understanding of the material. Class is really straightforward and out very early. Weekly assignments are very straightforward. Exams you WILL have to study for. While it isnt strictly memorizing like in 211, you still need to know the info. Highly recommend!

All you have to do is put in the effort and make use of your time in lab. Midgley provides you with ALL of the materials you need to succeed in anatomy and will answer all your q's. He gives you the information for the exam on blackboard. He is so nice and caring and really wants everyone to do well! Study and you will be fine!

Every time I met with him at office hours, he was very kind and helpful on how to approach the upcoming exam. When he teaches, he has clinical questions which is good practice because they're on exams.

Midgley is great and is very encouraging in class. He is accessible outside of class as well, and tries to ensure his students succeed. The lecture part of lab is helpful, and the worksheets are too! Not too much work outside of class either. Highly recommend!!!

Take Midgley for anatomy lab if you can!!! Anatomy lab is a lot of material with your exams the majority of your grade but he prepares you so well for each exam. He will let you know all the material covered and even includes pictures of models on the exam. He is so much fun to have as a professor and genuinely cares about his students.

This is my favorite professor for lab! He makes himself available outside of class and actually wants you to do well in this course. He structures his labs very well so you don't feel like you're there for three hours, you have work in groups as well as self paced stations and group review. Midgley is the best such an amazing teacher!

TAKE MIDGLEY!! I had him for BIO 211 and 212, and never got below an 89 on anything. He is constantly avaliable, answers emails, is friendly, funny and excited about anatomy. His exams are challenging but not if you study. Not much else to say besides he will be the best lab professor you take at QU hands down.

Professor Midgley gave me good feedback after exams, and he does care for his students. A&P was not easy for me but he was available outside of class and answered my emails in a timely manner. I loved his lectures as he used many visual examples during class, and this helped me a lot since I am a visual learner.

Midgley was one of the best professors I've ever taken. Attendance isn't mandatory but you miss sm if you skip. Exams were given online take home which made them less stressful. Writing assignments were so annoying but only could for a small percentage. Would take over anyone else

Prof. Midgley is easily one of my favorite professors at QU. I had him for A&P1 lab and 2 lab and he makes what needs to be known extremely easy to figure out. He gives great guidelines and I never got below an A- on any of his exams because he had us so prepared. Please take him if you're nervous for A&P lab!!

Attendance is really important to understand the content. He makes the content engaging. I'd love to take another one of his classes.
