Dr. Mike Miles is probably the best teacher I have ever had! He has a way of teaching that makes you feel as if your just hanging out having a few beers, and learning some improtant stuff. He explains everything from his own experiences. You will have a wonderful time in this class and you will meet an incredible person.

great teacher. teaches by powerpoints. shows alot of videos too, but they help you to grasp a concept if you didnt quite understand it from him. the term paper is quite easy, any topic with human behavior. i would definitely recommend to anybody.

Professor Miles is a very fair professor. Lectures are intresting and he tells you what will be on the tests. Tests are hard but as long as you study you will do fine.

Great Teacher!! I took him for gen. psychology and then again for developmental psych. My favorite professor by far. Keeps interest during class and is great all around. Relates what you are learning to everyday life. If you to learn and get a good grade, take this professor.

Very easy teacher. Tells you whats on the tests so study that and you will be fine. There is an 8 page paper on any subject of human behavior... I wrote it the night before and got an A. Come to class every day and he gives you 10 extra credit points added to your grade but you have to remember to sign in. Nice guy, easy A.

One of the best Prof at PBCC. Tests are not easy, but if you STUDY you will do well. Makes what could be very boring material VERY interesting. Recommend him for anyone taking Psychology.

Dr. Miles is an amazing teacher! He is very organized and usually teaches a chapter a class w/ power point and w/ his own quirky stories that help you remember the material. He gives a mini review before tests and tells you whats on it. Take notes durring the powerpoints he often hints at test questions. I got an A not very hard.

I had an eye opening experience taking him as a professor. I strongly urge you to take him if you want to have a couple of laughs, and learn a lot about how the mind works :) He might be older, but he knows how the younger generations work!!! Inspirational!

Great Prof. Had more fun than I ever have in a classroom. He opens your mind up to the world. He is in touch with todays youth, his lectures are not just entertaining, but are also helpful when trying to understand hard concepts in class. If you want a great experience, take him. His test reviews are also golden, take a tape recorder.

He is really nice, but occasionally goes off on tangents during his lectures. The tests are hard if you don't get his review. The review is given straight from the test and informs you what page to look on and what to look for... do the review and the test is a breeze. One term paper which is open topic, 8-10 pgs.

He is a very nice teacher but talks all the time, I don't know how I didn't fall asleep in his class. He is funny but too much talking makes the class so boring.

Dr. Miles is a great Professor with a love for teaching! He will do what ever it takes to help you out. The thing that makes him a great teacher is that he uses real life events to relate to the lecture topics. Go to class, attend the reviews, and do your paper and you are guaranteed an A.

Had him for human growth and development. Very easy class! He tells you everything you need to do to get a good grade. If you dont get a a or b you diddnt try or diddnt pay attention. I got an a and would recommend him! only one problem, he seems to be a liberal. Teachers should keep politics out of the classroom. Not everyone loves Obama

cool guy, old, kept relating god to everything which made me less interested in his lectures. he cares that every student passes. tells you exactly what will be on exams which are all multiple choice. lectures aren't fun, but he does know what he is talking about. he has the credentials that make him fit to teach this class.

ONLINE. Exam every week (easy), two chapters at a time. Provides lecture notes, PP, and practice quizzes. Discussion every week, takes no more than 15-20 min. 8-10 page term paper on whatever you want, not too difficult. Really easy class, just takes a little time and dedication. Dr. M responds and grades quickly, and is laid back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Dr. Miles Is theeee Best !!! <3 Never got bored in his class, he is hilarious and very smart. I highly recommend him. The only bad thing is that in order to get an A in this class you must Read the Book, take notes and your set :)

I took his class on line and didn't like it. 25 question test every week . He gives PowerPoint every week but didn't find them helpful for the test. To pass his class need to read each chapter thoroughly and know them in and out. In addition, u watch a video every week and then answer questions about it. Take his class ur pretty much teaching yours

Best professor I've taken. Makes the class interesting and as long as you read the book, you can ACE every exam like I did. Final Report 8-10 pages, APA...you pick your OWN topic which is great...I LOVED THIS CLASS with Proffessor MILES!.. HE IS GREAT!

He does have funny stories but honestly you have to teach yourself in this class, no class discussions, tests are not that easy a lot of the people in my class have Cs or Ds... very boring!

This class is easy in the sense that it is made up of only 4 tests and one long paper; however, make sure to read the chapters the chapters that the test is covering because the in class notes and lectures are not very helpful. Professor Miles is very helpful and always encourages his students to come to his office for help.

Dr. Miles is the nicest guy! He is so patient and so helpful. I took his child growth and development course online and really enjoyed it. His directions are very straight forward and he ALWAYS responses to your emails in a timely manner. Definitely take Dr. Miles!

His test reviews are exactly what will be covered on the test. Try to go and see him after class in his office, that is the only time I actually got an A on his test. He is always willing to help you one on one. TAKE HIM, YOU WILL LEARN!

He really is a great professor. He does a test review one class before the test, in which question by question is RIGHT off the test. One 2,000 word paper (any topic you chose) is due 14 weeks into course, so you have plenty of time to write it. Easy grader. Miss one class, one point gets taken off participation. I would recommend him!

Such a sweet man who truly enjoys his profession. Always willings to help students if they truly want help and if they seek assistance from him. Attend all of his lectures in order to pass the exams. Easy going teacher. Very easy going understanding. But the class can be a challenge. You need to be in class because you do get points for being there. Always have a doctors note whenever being absent or at least a note from your parent if you do still live with them. Otherwise make sure you take notes from Powerpoint and write down what he says.

Professor Miles was awesome. I took this class online. Weekly discussions, he gives feedback for. Weekly quizzes (go with the book). One 2,000 word paper on your choice topic. The grading is fair, and I appreciated not having tons of busy work.

He is a a good professor. He gives long lectures that takes you through the whole class. Your final exam is the paper assignment he provides from the beginning of the course and isn't due until the end of the term. His tests are fairly easy if you study his review. You recieve points for show ing up to class; which can help your grade.

Amazing professor, I truly learned so much. Great lectures. No homework. He is a doctor, very intelligent. Helped me tremendously Term paper 1,600 words due last few days of class. His tests are easy yet challenging. All you need to do is study. Record his verbal study guide. You get extra points for being there much brought my grade up!

This is the definition of an amazing man. I was battling cancer during the semester and he was completely understanding, told me his personal story and offered me help if ever needed. He will meet with you in person or over the phone. Mini papers are easy, exams are ok once you learn his style, READ READ READ THE BOOK. Great class, very interesting

Michael Miles was a fantastic professor and I'm glad I decided to sign up for his course. If this is a course requirement for you, but you really don't have any interest in Psych then I suggest you take this. He gives you every chance in the world to succeed. Before test will go every single question and give you the answers.

There are four pre-tests before the final test. The pre-tests cover two chapters. Finding the answers to these pre-tests are time-consuming and confusing.

Class was a breeze. He gives out a fail-proof test review before every exam and it's the best. Even if he doesn't always stay on topic during class, those test reviews are exactly like the test and it's a piece of cake. You need the textbook to look up answers on the test reviews but other than that, reading isn't necessary to pass.

Professor Miles was absolutely the best! He does get off topic MANY of times but his test reviews are the best. Listen carefully on his test reviews and you'll do just fine! Defiantly would recommend!

Dot get me wrong this class was good but to be honest I could have taken it online and saved a lot of time. He's a super sweet old man but he talks really slow and for those who work a lot or stay out late and go to class tired, youll be asleep real quick. The tests are basically skimming the PP and a verbal review he does in class. REVIEW DAY!!
