Great professor.

Professor Pagan was one of the best teachers I've ever had721. Most students are intimidated by professors, but he really does make it easy to come to him with questions and any issues you have pertaining to class. Attendance is a big thing, because you miss a lot of important class discussion. Never boring. Would take again.

You'll never find a professor that is more engaged with student success. If your paper isn't an "A" paper, he will let you revise it. His peer review workshops are great, and he will even help revise it for you. He is there for you anytime, through email or class. You can ask him anything and he'll help. He doesn't screw around with plagiarism, if you plagiarize you will be expelled with it on your record. He is big on it because he cares about his students. Theres only 3 papers due throughout the whole class, Do not skip class because you will fail. He is a great instructor and explains very well, i would take another class from him!

By far one of my favorite professors that I have ever had. He makes deadlines very clear, gives you plenty of time to work on everything, provides so many opportunities for paper revisions, and is very understanding if you have to miss a class as long as you let him know the reason.

By far, the BEST professor I've ever had. Only 3 papers the entire semester and he makes it easy to pass. If you actually try in the class, you will pass. He gives you a chance to revise your paper after he grades it to get an even higher grade. Very easy to achieve an A while learning how to write great papers. I recommend him to everyone.

Attendance is very important to him so if you miss classes your grade will suffer. 4 major writing assignments and there are also homework assignments. He has rough draft workshops with peer reviews prior to turning in any major papers. He also allows for revisions for a better grade on papers. Do the work and show up to class on time.

Love him! He doesn't waste time so as soon as he is done teaching he lets you go home, most days we were only in class for 30 mins or so. He's also a super easy grader and so funny! He makes class interesting by showing funny videos and letting you pick the topics (Only 3 papers) Really cares about all his students. Definitely recommend him!

This professor is the coolest guy ever. His really cool does understand student how sometimes they can forget things gives time to turn it in . He also helps you and guides you on the things he expect you to do on your essay. He demands that you show him effort and you will pass his class. Expect pop quizzes and don't be nervous his awesome.

Professor Pagan is hands down the BEST English professor I've ever had. This was my second time taking ENC1101 due to me failing before, but his teaching skills are amazing. You just need to do your work, pay attention, even if you miss class, you'll have the syllabus, don't miss too many classes though. Minimum amount of quizzes, 3 essays (EASY)

Great Professor!! Never liked English but it was an absolute pleasure taking this class. Very clear on what he expects from your papers his essay assignments aren't bad at all, and he made the essays relevant to the students. Trying to take him for Comp 2.

I took his class for 2016 Summer B term. Even though it was 6 week class I managed to get my work done on time since the class only met twice a week. Also, he gives good feedback on essays that you turn in. There are only 3 essays and they are not that hard. If you need help just email or talk to him in class. He responds back like a.s.a.p.

Best professor ever!

Extremely good teacher! I did so well in this class because he literally breaks down all the basic parts of writing an essay. 3 essays for the whole semester and he makes doing poorly almost impossible. For sure recommend taking. he is very approachable and super understanding. best teacher I have had a palm beach state.

Professor P has been the best professor I have had at PBSC. I took him during the summer alfor 1101 and this fall for 1102. He breaks everything down so it is very easy to understand. He is always available to assist you with writing your papers. If you struggle with writing and which to improve, he is by far the best choice.

The class is very simple. All we do is read a couple pages at home and come to class where he lectures the best lectures ever and the quizzes are on the story you read and the quizzes is basically " Who is the main character" etc.. First essay was 2 pages and Second was 3. Just follow the rules and you will be fine...

I took the hybrid course. It is very easy, the workload is very light. He is helpful whenever he can be, but trust me you shouldn't need help, this was defiantly one of the easier courses I've taken. He definitely does his best to make the class fun and relatable.

Professor Pagan is an absolutely phenomenal teacher. In fact, he's one of the only teachers I actually learned from. Well besides the teachers I learned useless info, & sometimes nonsense from. But anyway, you can tell he actually cares about his students. His lectures are so interesting, it's hard not to pay attention. ++ it's an easy class!!

I took Professor Pagan for ENC 1101, and had the chance to have him for ENC1102 and he made the beginning of my College career much easier. He will not let you fail. If you need help, go to him and he will do everything to help you. Gives great handouts for essays and explains them so you can get an A. Also lets you revise for a higher grade.

Professor Pagan is the BEST. I took him for ENC1101 and I am taking him again for LIT1000 and ENC1102. He is really caring and respectful. He is eligible outside the class and he answers email fast. He break things down and go up with you step by step. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Professor P is the most humble and awesome professor there is at the Boca campus! Participation matters, and he will do whatever he can to make sure your papers are "A" worthy. He is always just an email away and gives amazing feedback and direction. His lectures are so relatable and non-traditional. Do yourself a favor and take Professor P!

A simply outstanding instructor. His lectures are both entertaining and educational. This guy was born to teach. Good writing is critical to success in college. Take this professor and not only will you become a better writer but you will also be able to use the skills he teaches to make your other writing classes alot easier.

I once took a LIT 1000 Hybrid course of his two semesters ago. I was intimated at first because online stuff scares me. Not with this professor. I've never felt this comfortable taking a class. He really is a great teacher & will go above & beyond for his students if he needs to. He even looks out for you even after you're done with school.

By far the BEST PROFESSOR on this campus. I took him for ENC 1101, ENC 1102 and LIT 1000, and I'm about to take his Hispanic American Lit class because he's that good of a professor! He's really chill and makes class fun. He is really organized, emails you back right away and makes his expectations clear. TAKE HIM BEFORE HIS CLASS GETS FULL!!!!!!!!

Professor Pagan is very patient and helpful. He cares about his students and make sure all students are on top of their study. In a six-week summer course, we finished 3 major papers and 10 small class writing assignments. He is very clear about grading and the expectation of homework. I strongly recommend professor Pagan to all students.

Great teacher. He is honest, open, and a true intellectual. He doesn't just hand you a good grade but i can honestly say this is the only class I've taken at palm beach where I actually enjoyed doing the work to earn it. Will be taking his classes wherever they fit into my major.

He is hilarious, funny, caring you will not regret taking his class, there is only two papers and quizzes based on the readings but is not hard I promise!

Professor P is the amazing!! He is super chill and his class is actually fun to go to. 3 essays and about 20 homework/class assignments for the whole semester. He gives awesome feedback on assignments and gives you a chance to edit the first 2 essays for a better grade. Honestly he just wants you to do well. I recommend 100%!! TAKE HIM.

Hes a lil too much SJW for me but he's still a good teacher. He does get students to engage in his class. He is a pretty easy grader. Read what he assigns and you should pass the class. Each assignments is like 4 pages so its not hard unless you're lazy.

Theres 6 writing assignments, but Professor Pagan gives great instructions and feedback. Theres a final 6 page paper thats worth 400 points, but he makes it really easy and manageable. Hes hilarious and very motivational, especially if youre unsure of something. He answers emails really fast and is always available to help out! Great professor

He likes to talk about topics and show the literary analysis process in class.. The good thing about his literature picks is that they are actually interesting. Really chill professor in the classroom, and makes you feel comfortable discussing topics. His papers are easy to write, because they are literally just your interpretations of the text.

I took Mr.P for ENC1101,ENC1102, and just finished taking him for Lit1000, I passed all his class with an A. DO exactly what he says and you will pass. He is a great professor and his classes are very interesting. I would def. recommend him for Lit. His readings are very interesting and you will be excited to go to class. I RECOMMEND HIM!!!!!!!!!!!

English is my second language and he was very patient with me. I bother him a lot, meaning I emailed him all the time. I saw him in his office all the time and asked him bunches of questions after class. He was always patient. Always help me. Made sure I was OK. Inspire me to always do better. I'm glad I took him.

Professor Pagan was probably the best professor i've had so far! He cares about you and makes sure that you understand the material. He allowed us to come in to class the week our papers were due to ask questions and add all the finishing touches our assignment needed. I'm not taking 1102 until one of his classes become available. Prof. Pagan was recommended to me by numerous friends and is by far my favorite prof. so far. He makes his lectures fun & has a great sense of humor. When it comes to writing the assigned papers, he uploads templates for everything. You literally just have to plug in your own information over the template given. Overall an easy class, I got a 97%.

Professor P will help you with whatever he can, whenever you need! Follow his guidelines for all assignments and there is no way you will do bad in his class. Just put dedication to your work and he will appreciate you. Would take again in a heartbeat!

Professor P really cares. Like REALLY cares. I went through some serious personal stuff and had to miss alot of days. Without getting to much into detail he was there for me. If you talk to him hell listen and if you need help hes there for you. I cant thank him enough. Ill never forget it.

One of my favorite prof. out there. Very professional guy and all he wants is to motivate his student and give them good feedback. He ran the class with clear expectations and he is very good at communicating with his students which is very important. Will give you feedbacks grading your paper and not just grade it unfairly. Professor Pagan is awesome. He's relatable, approachable and enjoyable. You don't need a textbook, he provides all the readings in weekly folders on Blackboard. There's only 2 papers. You write about the readings in groups every week and that's an A. One of the easiest classes, just do whats asked, which isn't a lot and submit it on time.

He is amazing! 100% recommend you to take him. He does give out homework (which does involve reading), but it is very easy. We only had 3 essays and he does give you time in class to work on it.

This class was Hybrid, mainly online. Had class twice a week for about 1HR /30 mins. You do have to read! Great lectures and group discussions. He is so down to earth. No essays, but you had to turn in 3-5mins videos which were considered your essays. I dislike writing papers and I found this easier for me. I HIGHLY recommend Prof. Pagan!

Amazing professor! I was intimidated to take Lit1000 but Professor P made it seem easy and enjoyable. Do the assignments and participate in class with all of the readings assigned and you will pass. He is extremely straight forward what you see is what you get no SUPRISES with the assignments or quizzes. I would recommend him to anyone who asks.

I took Hispanic lit with him, and even though I am not Hispanic, this was the best course I've taken so far. The professor is amazing and inspirational. However, you do have to read whatever he assigns to you. Highly recommend taking any course with him.

If you dont like reading, dont even bother. The realest professor you will ever meet. All you have to do is read the assignment and come to class prepared to discuss about the readings. Funniest but the realest professor. And there will be VRS discussions.

Professor Pagan is an amazing instructor. This class saved me! The zoom meetings (because of Corona) were so interactive. The conversation flowed, the subject matter was interesting. Every class had an in class assignment and 3 video responses made up the grade. He is awesome! Down to earth, knowledgeable, passionate about the topic. Do it!

Prof Pagan is easily the best professor I've ever had at PBSC. The class was moved online due to COVID-19 but he was so considerate and supportive during the transition. This class will have you getting real deep into your conversation and Prof Pagan truly does expose you to a new way of thinking and empathizing. Theres a reason why hes rated a 5.

I took Professor Pagans American literature course remotely and it was honestly such an interesting and fun class to attend. I would definitely take a class with Professor Pagan again, he genuinely cared about his students and made the class really relatable. This class wasnt hard at all as long as you put effort in.

there's not much i can add to what has already been said. took his 1102 and LIT1000. both times i was amazed at how fun class was. i have taken 22 classes at pbsc and he is hands down the MOST caring professor i have had. take any and all classes you can with him. you will not regret any of them.

He is hilarious when he teaches and not only is he hilarious but you actually learn the literature you are learning. Professor Pagan was my favorite professor out of all my years of studying. In-person was the best! He is hilarious when he teaches, and you learn in a fun way. It was an impactful learning experience. I would always be excited to go to his classes every week, and it was probably my favorite day of the week. I wish more professors were like this.

One of the best professors/teachers I have ever had! He doesn't require textbooks, he ALWAYS give positive feedback (even if your paper is absolute garbage), and he barely gives any homework. There are 3 total papers and he gives a ton of class time to work on them. He is also very enthusiastic and gives amazing lectures.

I had him for 2023 Spring Term. He was great. He was really fun to work with. I will be taking him again in 2024 Spring term.

I love this professor. He is the funniest and most relatable guy ever. Seems scary only bc he takes attendance and effort very seriously. He rarely (if ever) accepts late work and attendance is very mandatory but I promise he is the best guy ever and you'll love him. No essays, he replaces those with three 4-minute long video assignments on canvas.
