What a dog and pony show! He clearly loves being a performer, though I have my doubts about his teaching. Passer has obviously been teaching forever - he has his formula down pat, and it works perfectly. The information is clear, the tests are not difficult at all if you study a little. However, he has a very monotone voice and little personality - it's really easy to fall asleep in his class. Bewarned! I also had him for Psych 209 - same experience.

Dr. Passer is a good lecturer, but this is a boring class . Lectures are dry, but pay attention because class material is fair game for the midterms and final. There is a lot of reading in this course; check the syllabus for when readings are due. Instructions for the homework assignments were very confusing and wordy.

Uses his own book but claims re receives no profit from it. Dull, boring, tries to joke but normally fails in his delivery. Highly unclear grading expectations, and his TAs are worse (or at least mine was). He may love research, but he fails at infecting students with anything more than severe apathy. One of the least enjoyable classes I've taken.
