just put up with his discussions of conspiracy theories and do the readings and write your papers that have interesting topics that he would like, pass with an A, i thought the first couple weeks of class it was going to be the hardest class i ever took

Mr. P is a little wierd, but he is a teacher in the true sense of the word. His grading on essays is a little tough, but as long as you improve, you will get good grades. Good for english majors.

He's hard,but tolerable.I actually learned ma- terial.As long as you try,he'll give you the benefit of the doubt.He's willing to work work with each individual student and dilemma's con- cerning thier work.A little intimidating.Must work hard!!

He seems like a good teacher. His method of including socialogy and political issues to teach grammar techniques is interesting. Overall I think he is a good teacher. Some of the things he talks about prick your interest and you want to find out more.

He is very interesting and different from any other teacher I've had. He wants his students to think outside of the box which can be a good or bad thing, depending on how you look at it. If he were to ask me out, I'd definitely go!;)

Pegausch is a lot of fun. He brings up topics that I never thought of before and I respect that. Although I do not agree with some of his political views it is interesting how he uses them to to teach english. I think he is a great guy and I like him a lot.

I hated every minute of his mini-mester class. the first day in there we had to explain to him that is was a mini-mester class not a full term class. The work load was too much for a low level class. But i can say i learned more in his class than anyother english class.

Mr. Pegausch is a good teacher, he has given students many chances in handing in papers and he lets you re-do your papers to get a better grade. He doesnt want to see his students fail. I liked him as a teacher.

Don't be afraid of conversations in class. Participate in discusions. Spend some time on writing your essays. If you have some questions, ask Mr. Pegausch. He will help his students. Please, don't think that he wants to fail you; he is a fair teacher, who evaluates his/her work correctly.

Anyone who doesn't like Mr. Pegausch has some insecurity and closed-mindedness issues!!! Mr. Pegausch, although quite opinionated, bases his theories on solid fact. He also encourages students to challenge his views, to participate, and to debate amongst themselves. He's very laid back and goodhearted, and ALWAYS makes you think. He's quite amazing

He's very opinionated and challenges people to think outside the box; I enjoyed his class a lot. he's very interactive,although he's very demanding, if you follow his guidelines you will not go wrong.

This is a tough class, but I learned how to write. Mr. Pegausch's class prepared me for every course I've ever had to write a paper. I recommend him, but only if you intend to learn. Those people looking for an easy grade should look elsewhere.

He is a good teacher...he challenges your ability to think...all you Bush wagging students you need to take this class and trust me you would learn a lot if your not opinionated

Although professor Pegausch talks about politics more than some of his students would like, he somehow manages to incorporate all of the required information into his "conspiracy lectures." Overall, he is very interesting and odd teacher.....lol

This guy is hilarious. He is very easy and lets u re-write all of ur papers. He always talks about politics and hates Bush. His class is fun and interesting, but if ur a hot girl beware cuz he will hit on u.

Pegausch is one of the best professors I had. He does talk about politics and about the government, but he has facts to prove his points. Get used to writing papers, he assigns about 7 papers and he grades fairly hard but he is fair. This is not a class that you can sleep your way through you actually have to do work.

Ok, he is very wierd. His politics are a joke -or are they? Yeah he will appear insensitive and crazy, but under all that he is a major force as far as literature is concerned. ATTN literature majors!

I'm an ESL student, and I took him 2 semesters.I got As in both classes.If I could do it, everybody can do it!Hey, this is COLLEGE, it supposed to be hard work!!But Mr Pegausch is not hard (once you understand what he's asking for, and follow his instructions);he is just a very good teacher with strong ideas and beliefs! What's wrong with that?!

If you are an independent thinker, then you can disregard these "brainwash" comments--just be prepared to substantiate your opinions if you have one. I enjoyed this class, worked hard, and received an A. Sometimes it was a little overwhelming, but I did take it in the summer. I learned a lot in this class and improved my writing skills.

If you are looking for an easy grade do not take him. He is a challenging teacher and tests your knowledge of analyzing literature. If you participate in his class he is willing to help you. I learned a lot throughout the class and it has made me a better writer today. You get what you put in, so do not expect to slack and receive a good grade.

If you are looking to slide by Mr. P is not the teacher for you. If you are interested in actually learning something I highly recommend taking his courses. Mr. P often plays the devils advocate making some previous claims made against him not completely accurate. He will often bring controversial topics up in class to provoke critical thinking.

His class was wonderful!I received so much out of it this semester.From better writing skills to the ability to formulate my own opinions.His class reminds me of the dead poets society. He loves his work and genuinely cares for his students(meaning those who actually put forth effort)Those who dont want to be a student, dont waste your time or his.

just because he brings up topics that challenge the foundations of who the students are, people rate him poorly. yes, he is controversial, yes, he has demands that are higher than other profs, but that is only because he cares that much. he will help you more than any other professor will you just have to utilize your resources

I took Mr. P for English my freshman year! He is one of the best professors that is trying to take out thoughts to the next level. There is a lot of writing, it is a English class! He does keep you interested because his topics are educational. For all the hater, you just can't handle the TRUTH!!!!!

Mr. Pegausch keeps the class interesting and teaches you how to write at the same time. His topics encourage actual ?thinking? and since he makes you passionate about the topic, you eventually may realize your ?writing voice?. I will always remember this class and a great teacher!

Had a hard time in class. He is a great teacher but the papers was hard. The class is over alot of work but easy, and when I say alot of work I mean it.

Class involved a decent amount of work.You will need to stay up to date with the calendar and work. He was a very good teacher. You will earn your grade. You will learn from the class.

Always available to help. Even the hardest assignments are broken down in such a way you are almost guaranteed to do well if you put forth any effort.

online course, involves a lot of writing. Pay attention, ask questions, DO THE WORK. His comments are a bit offputing but he does want to help. Don't take this class if you don't have a lot of time to devote to it. I believe he is tough, I'm pretty sure he will also be fair. No slackers.

Online class. Is very hard class with lots of work. But he's really helpful and wants you to do well! I don't know why all these other comments say he's rude and stuff... but I thought he very helpful and understanding. He responds quickly to emails and gives good feedback. I do agree it's a hard class though with a lot of writing and reading work.

His class is not easy. He is very pesky with MLA, grammar, punctuation and usage. There were three essays and one research paper. Most of his comments dealt with grammar and he would every now and then comment on the actual quality of the content. His comments may seem like a turn off, but he is only trying to help you become a better writer.

I took the online class for summer 2011. You will have a lot of assignments to post throughout the semester. It is a lot. He will give you scores that are usually lower than you thought. You will know what to improve exactly but I don't want to talk about the score. He is helpful if you really want to do study English or major this field.

I took him both in class and online. He is tough but also is somewhat of a kidder. He picks on you but only because he is trying you make you think. Yes, is isn't always clear only because he is only trying to help you think for yourself. I felt very comfortable with him and would have taken him for all my English classes if he taught them all.

If you're not willing to do the work, don't sign up for his class. He is a great professor that expects a lot out of his students...it's a college course, that's his job. I didn't always agree with my essay grades, but overall I give him an A+++. He is very lenient and understanding, always willing to help. He's blunt w/a smile. Thanks Professor :)

Intense semester. Be expected to work, there is no coddling. However, I learned a great deal from the class and am a better writer for it. Tough on grading but provides ample extra credit to keep your grade up. Good course to take if you really want to improve yourself, but if your just wanting the easy route may want to look elsewhere.

Professor Pegausch's class was great. He was very accomodating and responds quickly. As a student you are expected to remember everything you learned in your 1101 and 1102 class. This is a literature course, not composition.

Prof. Pegausch wants his students to succeed, to learn, to think. That being said, this is probably the hardest class I've taken at GPC. Due dates are during the week, expect A LOT of reading and writing - this was my life for the semester. However, the Prof. is honest, helpful - and has pushed me to be a better writer and student.

I thought this course was going to be a bit easier than what it was. Granted it wasn't what I would call extra difficult, but I felt as if the directions of some of the assignments were not clear, which was my only issue. However, I made A's on every assignment. Try it out !

Overall he was a great instructor. His grading was tough but in the end it helped me learn what I needed to work on and my problem areas. He tended to get off topic but no big deal. Come to class, try your best, and be respectful and you will succeed .
