I had urban econ over a (heavily impacted) summer session which makes the difficulty of the class hard to guage. A lot of students take it as a Segment III requirement, and a lot of students are not Econ majors, which keeps Dr. Potepan from going too deep into the material. Econ majors looking for a challenge will be on their own. As a San Francisco resident, however, it's hard NOT to be interested in the material he covers.

Wouldn't take again

This class is easy. I just did barest of the minimum. He has this app or whatever to track if you've watched the full lecture videos he posts which is like minimum 8 videos ranging from 10-15 mins each. He uses another website to do homework on and those are easy. The group projects are easy and he has you rate the members in your group.

Would take again

His class was asynchronous so I got to work at my own speed. You get weekly homework assignments o this website called achieve which you have to buy. They're pretty easy if you look at the videos he posts. You do need to watch the videos fully since he can see if you watch them fully in order to receive credit.
