Fantastic professor. The class is set up to help you succeed. He offers practice tests that include actual questions on the real tests. Go to class, do the assignments, and use the practice tests. You have to be super lazy to fail this class. He makes it so easy to succeed and he clearly loves teaching.

Great class. Dr. Rader is so much fun. He related the class to the real world. I learned things to use in my daily life. He even includes things on how to be a successful college student. A lot of lectures, and skips through the slides faster than you can even write. He expects you to learn shorthand, and refuses to go back to the previous screen. Expects you to read out of the book with no direction to do so. Makes class interesting with personal stories, though. Exams are over 3-4 chapters per exam. Just read your book.

Although Rader's class was lecture heavy it was my most interesting class. He told funny and interesting stories throughout his lectures. You are required to do a smart book and proctored quiz every week. He does not do test or finals. He throws in a few pop quizzes but for my class specifically we played silly games to get out of those quizzes.

God I could go on how much I loved this class but the word count sucks. Get ready for hw, but it's so easy that there shouldn't be any problems. No tests only weekly quizzes that are proctored, he's also points based so get over 900 pts and you'll have an A then you could literally do nothing else except show up at the end of the year.

Dr.Rader is by far the best professor I've ever had! You get out what you put in; if you apply yourself and engage in his class you will learn ton! Dr. Rader cares about his students and welcomes everyone with open arms. Also, he is full of an incredible amount of knowledge, so I highly recommend asking all your little questions :)

Dr. Rader is an amazing professor! His class was one of my favorite classes during my first year. His class is pretty heavy with homework, but it is very manageable especially if you use the entire week to work on it. He shows that he is always willing to help you succeed as long as you are willing to help yourself as well. overall amazing class

Amazing professor, shame he only teaches PSYC130. There are no exams, but the drawback is the Smartbook review can have 100-200 questions, make sure to have time set aside for it (can be done in increments over the week fyi). Class is always engaging w/ a variety of stories that connect to the subject. Great guy to talk to, even outside of class

Dr. Rader is great.I had him for an 8:00am class and I am definitely not a morning person but his class actually made me want to get up in the morning. he assigns a smart book and a quiz almost every week (i struggled a little bit on the quizzes) but as long as you do everything and don't miss class you should at least end the class with a B :D
