He demystifies programs like Excel and PowerPoint and presents them in an easy-to-follow format. Word of advice: come to every class!!

I was really impressed by Prof. Rahni. I struggle with computers and resent that I have to use them, but I found that his enthusiasm and genuine interest in computers made the subject matter more than palatable. He was perfect for someone like me. I would recommend him as a teacher without question. He's great for early morning classes too.

I came into this class thinking I knew just about everything about computers. I learned new information and I applied it to personal projects I was working on. If you ditch, you will miss so much material! Yeah, it is early in the morning, but take this class anyway.

He is very helpful teacher. He does't get on your case if you miss an assignment. He gives you as much time as you need to turn in assignments. Tests are easy multiple choice. A lot of book tutorial assignments but they are easy. Easy A if you do the work.

He's very patient with students. Though lots of assignments at the beginning of semester, he'll reduce the workload in the last month to let you have enough time to study for the final. And the final isn't that hard cuz it accumulates the previous 4 tests just to see if you get the concept. You won't believe how much you'll learn from his class.

Professor Rhani is very patient with students, he will explain everything clearly but you have to attend to his class meetings in order to understand everything. If you begin by using the text book at his pace you should have no problem in the class. It is a very easy class and his tests are easy too!

I took his class last semester and i could say he is the BEST instructor I've ever had at SMC so far. I missed couple sessions moreover I didn't hand in portfolio stuff and I got one C and 2 B's on the exams. As a result I received B but he helped a lot to give me A. Easy A ! He gives a lot of extra credits. I took this class in winter session 2008 and got A. There were four exams, and I got two b and two c on the exams but still got A. I don't even know how i got A. I did every extra credit, which was easy to do.

Its a pretty easy class but I am not so good or advanced with computers, so i get lost every once in a while. Other than its a chill class and i am actually learning a few new things/ tricks about computers. I would recomend taking this class with him.

What can I say this class has been enjoyable and pretty easy. I learned quite a few tricks that i can use on the daily basis and on special projects. If you want to get into computer science and want someone with experience then this professor may be able to help you and maybe give you some connections.

Just try everything and stay in touch with him when you are out of class. Also, read, read, and read. Then use google when the test becomes too hard.

Professor Michael Rahni is a great teacher. His lecture's are interesting and he is very understanding to the non-traditional students. He didn't just teach from a textbook, he taught us real world application for many types of software, tools, coding and many other.

Textbook reading is not required for this class, but you will learn valuable skills or knowledge to not only aid you in this class, but in the future as well.

Its a great class, professor isn't demanding that your punctual just that you care and at least try. Work is moderate and test are 6 or so final wasn't stressful. I will say i do have prior knowledge of computer class but I still learned quite a bit and its a valuable class is you want to learn more in dept on computers.

the professor is very good teacher, What a fascinating and informative professor! You will always be engaged by his lectures and by the time you are finished with her class, you will be able to learn how to appropriately make outlines/ speeches and have good public speaking skills in one class. he is willing to help

Professor Rahni is A great professor to have for all computer classes. I had him for different classes including business communications. He is willing to help when he see the student is working hard for the class and he always offer great help. He encourage the students to attend the class and participate in class, do all the work that is assigned

I loved Professor Rahni, he's very well-informed and made class so interesting. He really cares about his students and wants them to succeed, i regret missing class as much as I did, only because of how cool he was. The only thing i would change is his lectures, i tend to lose focus quickly, i wish there would have been more hands -on in class.

Great Professor. The course is well organized. The professor wants you to learn the skills. He will give you many opportunities to complete and submit your work. Highly recommended
