This guy is a piece of work. I didn't like him at first, but by the end of class, I thought he was a pretty cool guy. He seems to know alot, and has been a lot of places. He likes it when students do presentations, so do them. I got an A. He's cool.

Took this course in the summer. He's funny, helpful at answering questions, cares about his students. He's very knowledgeable and he told us some stories about his trips to Europe. Entertaining. Class was easy. As long as you listen, take notes, you're set. He hops around with his lecturing sometimes.

he is really nice because he always lets you get out early. test is hard, but nobody fail the test.trust me!!!.Research papper just do it and you will get the same credit for everybody.don't worry!!!!

All you need to do is a research paper and tests. He lets you bring in a cheat sheet for the test. Overall, he is the most caring teacher and wants to see you succeed. Its a great course if you are taking it for a requirement because you learn the fundamentals with enough information to appreciate it. Highly recommended

I didnt know what to expect but after i took this class i'm glad i took it with this guy. His lectures are good, shows a lot of art, and knows his stuff very well. He CURVES his test a lot, i messed up bad and still got a "B", plus the X-Credit Helps.. He gets funny at times so I Really recommend in taking him, U WILL LIKE IT!!!!

PLEASE TAKE THIS TEACHER!u will get an A no matter what(he even says it!).yes it can be boring cuz he talks a lot,but u dont have to be in class...just do your research paper and you will be fine.

class is very easy. if you want an easy A you should take redfield. he's actually a very nice guy. he gets off subject a lot but they're very fun to hear. he's really cool, ionno why ppl are complaining so much... and rated him so poorly, whether they liked him or not i'm 100% sure they still passed with a good grade

One of the coolest teachers at SAC. If you want to get an A then take him. If you want to learn, then read the textbook and ask him questions. I don't know why people would say such negative things?? Take him, on the first day you'll realize how cool Redfield is.

He is the easiest teacher I token so far. Very nice teacher, slightly weird, but it's okay because after all he is an art teacher. I seriously didn't put that much effect into the class, some, but not a whole lot and got an A. Buy the textbook, don't wait until the last minute to buy it because he lets you have one cheat sheet. How cool is that?

ONLINE COURSE.i took his online course.fairly easy.LOTS of reading..LOTs..test was fairly easy if you took notes..i like the fact that he gives u his personal number in case of an emergency.other than that. lots of reading.

Great class! you did have to show up for attendance pts, and he read out of the book, but fairly easy class. We did have to take a trip to a museum. Easy class and test!

TAKE IT ONLINE! It's so easy! Theres only 3 tests and a paper. I never read the book I just googled everything for the tests! And the research paper was suppose to be 3-5 pages and mine was only 1 1/2 and i got an 85! Hes suppppper easy!

If u r taking 12 units, take this class online to ease up the workload. He is a cool instructor, easily accessible and will help u if needed.

THE MOST AWESOMEST ART TEACHER EVER! I love art, have taken many courses, and this class is BY FAR the best art class I've ever taken. The tests will get you thinking, but he lets you have a cheat sheet for the them. HE TELLS THE MOST AWESOMEST STORIES, and is very easy to talk too. DONT understand? Just ASK! He'll break it down til its understood.

Take this class to eaze up your load. I took the on-line class and it was great! If you do take this class, also take the on-line tutoring sessions with Michael Stone if possilbe. They are extremely helpful.

ok so i took this class, now this was the easiest, i didnt even study , because he lets you use notes on the test, so what i did was just take all notes and then i got an A. take him hes the easiest, 0 studying required

Super Easy not smart and I passed him ok. as long as you listen or take notes he gives 3 simple tests if you take them as a fast track course. And do one collage adn a 2 page paper super easy to pass it he has a good sense of humor.

He is a very nice and helpful professor that I've never havd before.If you can not pass his class, so you shouldn't go to school.Highly recommend.

Super easy class, take the 8/wk. If you let him know your serious about your grades he will-not let you fail, just talk to him he is super cool and easy going. He lets you use a cheat sheet for every test and has you turn all the writing asignments in on the last day of class. Must take if you need a GPA boost.

He genuinely cares about learning more than grades. He is flexible and understanding as long as you approach him and explain to him your circumstance. I took the 5 week course with him and it was a positive learning experience. This class with this professor is a great way to earn credit in the Art section for your GE.

he's the best teacher! he's funny and his an easy grader write the two papers and study for the exams sometimes he goes over some of the questions that will be in the exam before the day of the exam i got an A in his class

the easiest and nicest art professor here at sac, you will not find another professor in the art department as nice as he is, the class is so easy not only because he curves the grades but also because of his really good test reviews, he also goes over everything that will be on the exam, only minimal effort required for an A or B in this class!

Great professor! Easy A, missed a few classes for family emergencies and he was very understanding. I took his 5 week class that was 2 days a week(end). Very do-able class, he lets you out early.

He is so nice, helpful and easy to understand. I would recommend him if you have to take Art 100 he curves his test grades so easy!

I took this class as a high school student to get my high school credits for art it was an easy class as long as you use the cheat sheets wisely and do both papers you should be good. i took it in the summer and class was suppose tuesdays and thrusdays class always ended early so i had the rest of the day to enjoy SUMMER:)

This class is sooooooooo easy, he litterally told the class that he doesnt give out D's or F's So the lowest grade you can get on a test was a C. If you want your GPA to go up and dont mind noy learning about art than TAKE HIS CLASS!

Best class ever!! I got an A in this class and put the less effort than any other class I've taken... Super nice teacher.. Tips for an A write the two papers and bring your cheat sheets to class.. Oh and your allowed to miss like 6 classes. Class was sceduled to be 1HR and a half he always let us out 45 min into class

I am not an art major but I really enjoyed professor redfield's class. He had amazing pictures he took himself of art that coincides with the book. He also was incredibly knowledgeable and interesting. His tests were thought provoking but as long you read and took notes it was fairly easy.

Why are athletes so obnoxious? One of them actually pursued to argue with the professor during the class, which was so disrespectful. Other than that, I think this class is really chill and an easy A, if you need one. You don't have to attend every class, buy the book though.

He a super helpful if you need help with you assignments which aren't very many. His test are hard but if you study you would be just fine. He is very nice teacher once you get to know him.

His tests were okay if you studied. Don't bother of borrowing previous tests from past semesters, he changes the questions. Also, do both writing assignments.

Great class. This is how I imagine an online class. You are basically in charge of your own due dates. you have an entire semester to complete everything. I really enjoyed this class.

I took Art 100 with Professor Redfield for an 8 week course. His class is super easy and he is a great professor. He reads out of the textbook and lectures pretty much, but all of that information was embedded into my brain. There were 2 open book exams and a 3 page research paper. Highly recommended!

I just took Art 100 Online Summer 2018 course with Professor Redfield. I have only had 4 other online courses at Santa Ana College and I have to say he was the best Professor I have had. I gives very good instruction and is very willing to make sure everyone has the time to get all the discussions and Quizzes completed. Excellent!

I enjoyed this class! No deadline pressure. The quizzes have due dates, but the discussions questions and responses could be done anytime. The textbook is on Canvas.. Prof. Redfield is quick to respond to questions. I took in the summer. You can work at your own pace. I finished two weeks early! The modules and videos were very interesting.

One of the best professors in this campus I was always looking forward to go to his class! You relax and have a great class. He transmits good vibes and the class you actually enjoy it the way he teaches is just unique and awesome.

Honestly, one of my favorite classes. You get to work at your pace and everything is due on the last day of class. I took this class summer 2019. I put that we used the textbook but it was included in the cost of the class. The prof sent us the link once the course began. Only 6 discussions, 6 quizzes, and 4 "harder" discussions.

Please TAKE this course to BOOST your GPA. Every written assignment was given a 100% for the entire class just for completion. All of the answers for the quizzes can be found online. Easiest A.

If you're someone that is looking to take an online class, this class is for you. The class isn't really hard as it really comes to the responsibility of the student. The grading is somewhat clear, but you need to make sure you do well on all assignments and quizzes. Messing up on one might drop you down a letter grade.

I enjoyed learning about Art. Do the work and youll pass. There is weekly discussions and 6 quizzes. Open Educational Class so the textbook is integrated with the class. This is a flexible class to add to your schedule. The workload isnt bad.

You do not really need to show up to the zoom meetings. I would recommend going to zoom meetings either way because he is very interesting. Always has a personal story to go along with his lesson. Pretty funny professor. Most of the assignments are already on canvas and are due at the end of the semester so you can always do them whenever you want.
