What a great instructor. He engaged in discussion boards, responded promptly to emails, and approached even the most controversial topics so that everyone felt comfortable expressing their opinion. I would highly recommend him.

Loved his logic class. It wasn't what I expected, but it was taught well and no matter how many times we needed, Mike reviewed and clarified extremely well. LOVED it!!

Great instructor, I would recommend him to anyone. He was very clear on all assignments and extremely prompt at grading. He engaged in the discussion boards and would give very detailed comments back on your essays in a very timely manner.

So friendly and very nice. Philosophy can be very monotonous, but he made it fun and engaging. Even at 7 in the morning! Highly recommend.

I had the privilege of taking Professor Robinson for a handful of classes. Not only is he very knowledgable about his discipline, but just has a way of running his classroom that is not seen enough in today's academic settings. I can't tell you how much I learned from Professor Robinson and how much I recommend him.

I loved this class, Michael was an awesome online instructor. Not a ton of work but what you needed to do was given with enough time to get it done. I would recommend him for any class at CWI.

His online class was great. His test were a little difficult but he gve you plenty of time to work on them and then provided quick and good feedback. He was easy to work with and actually made Ethics fun and interesting! I would take a class from him again easily!

Michael was awesome. Took this class online and he responded to every post. Very interesting even though it was online. I wished I would have taken his class in person.

I can't say enough about this teacher. His class is wonderful! He makes you want to come to class. He is funny, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. Going to take more classes with him.

I'm taking this class now and I'm very happy with my grades so far. Mr. Robinson is very clear on his lectures, he will not test you on something he hasn't talked about. Go to class and take notes and study the notes, and you will do just fine.I promise!!! He has a great sense of humor, this is favorite class. Participate in class discussion!

Loved Michael! He is funny and really loves philosophy. He takes attendance in every class and you need to be there to take notes. The notes are VERY important. just one or two readings in the book really. He does four tests in the semester no cumulative tests unless you do the make-up at the end of the semester. I aced it with little effort.

Mr. Robinson was a highly amusing teacher. I didn't buy the book and I did not need to. I just showed up to class, took notes, participated in class discussion and I passed easily. He tests on what he talks about in class. He has funny anecdotes to make it easier to remember. Over all it was one of my favorite classes

Great teacher, really nice guy. He lectures perfectly on what you need to know and will throw out any test questions he thinks are too misleading or any that cover something he didn't mention in class.

Michael makes learning logic fun. He says it is like learning a board game. He is extremely nice and helpful. He gives five exams throughout the semester. He takes attendance each class and as long as you attend you will do fine on the exam (attendance does not count for points though). He is hilarious too!

After 3 1/2 years of college, Professor Robinson is among the top professors I have had. He is a gifted teacher, fair and honest in every way; and he shows genuine concern for each of his students. I fully recommend his classes--hands down one of the best professors ever!

if you think about taking philosophy you have to take it with mike. he is so funny and makes philosophy a lot of fun. He respects your opinions and is not biased. his papers are super easy to write because it's based off of opinions. They are only up to 2-3 pages and his tests are super easy and he makes sure he covers it during class.

Michael is a fantastic professor, Great lectures makes class enjoyable. I will be taking more classes from him. Don't be afraid to get involved in class room discussions, he really appreciates your opinion. Study the class chapters and you will do just fine.

I took an online class for Ethics and it was an easy course to take. 3 exams throughout, weekly discussion board posts, 2 short essays and a bunch of reading. However, Mike provides guided notes for his exams and is reachable by email for anything you need. I didn't need much because he was clear and specific on each assignment and in the syllabus.

The lectures are great! Basically if you show up to class and take notes you will do fine. Very little to no homework, and study guides with each exam. Again as long as you take notes and pay attention you will be able to get through this class. Makes philosophy interesting!

AMAZING! By far one of my favorite teachers ever! He was so easy going and as long as you showed up to class you would definitely get a good grade in the exams. He made class exciting and I was always looking forward to his lectures. He was very lenient in his grading as long as you made an effort in the assignment. Definite recommend! :)

Mike Robinson is an amazing professor! I can tell he loves what he does. He lets everyone express their opinion and is always open and accepting to what you have to say. His lectures are well put together and I would take him again. Get the textbook, it will help for review. The course had 5 exams and 2 personal opinion essays.

Robinson is one of the greatest lecturers I have had. I took his Ethics course and it was an easy A. Take notes, and participate in lectures. He loves hearing everyone's different opinions.

Professor Robinson is awesome. The text book reading is optional, he only tests on what he covers in class - offers an exam review sheet and power powerpoints for every test and chapter so you know what to expect. His lectures move quick. If you show up and pay attention, I don't think its possible to fail.

Mike was a fantastic teacher! He quickly responded to emails and was a really easy grader. We had to write short essay answers for test and he let me use my discussion board answers as a base. It made the class so much easier and less stressful. Homework usually only took me a few hours. I very highly recommend him.

Michael is an amazing instructor. I love his class! He knows the material and is always prepared and on task. He is a flexible person and works with students to help them to do well in his class. He goes above and beyond what most instructors would do to help students succeed in his class. Take his class! You'll love it!

Lectures and discussions are the highlight of Mike's classes. Gets everybody involved for constructive debates. Initially thought he was a long haired hippy but turned out to be an exceptional instructor- probably the best CWI has to offer. Learned a lot about ethics in his class.

LOVED this class! Professor Robinson is AMAZING. He cares about his students and is respectful to everyone as the class discusses personal beliefs and ask hard questions. I would take every class he offers if I could! Take one of his classes and it will probably be the highlight of your semester.

Robinson is amazing. Well rounded, down to earth, considerate, helpful, fair, hilarious, intellectual, gives immediate feedback, very respectful to his students, patient, and very organized. AMAZING professor! Best class I've ever taken. If you want to learn, laugh and have your mind twisted around, this is the class to take. I even enrolled in his Ethics 202 class (30 minutes from my house) just to have him as my teacher again!

Great teacher, easy to pass if you come to class and take notes. Studying for tests is a must there is too much info to remember.

Mr. Robinson was a great professor! His passion for teaching and his subject matter really shows from the moment he walks through the door until the very end of class. He's a very positive, upbeat person that enjoys what he does. I would highly recommend his classes, and would definitely take his course again!

Took 101&202 with Mr. Robinson. I loved the 101 lectures so much that I decided to drive from east boise to Nampa at 8am just to take his 202 class even though I didn't need it. Between his attitude and ability to connect you to the material, it makes me wish I had teachers like him growing up.

Mr. Robinson is hands down the best teacher I have encountered at CWI. His lectures are very entertaining, he is hilarious and your opinions matter to him. As long as you show up and take notes, you will pass his class. He gives very little homework and is very quick to respond when you have questions. This man is passionate about what he teaches.

Professor Robinson's class was amazing!! I would say he has been the best instructor I've had at CWI. Discussions were always interesting. I'm taking his ethics class in the summer just because he's teaching it! Amazing guy, indeed.

I took it online. You will need your book, but only for a few things. Basically there is 2-4 posts you will need to comment on and need to be at least a paragraph, but most of it is your opinion (so shouldn't be that hard ;) ) He gives great feedback on what you write, not just on what he graded, but also responded to your papers which is cool.

Simply AMAZING! Professor Robinson's lectures are clear, concise, and absolutely hilarious. He gives study guides for all his test and all writing assignments are 1-2 paragraphs and are all opinion based. One of the best classes I have ever taken!

I took three classes from Mr Robinson and he is hands down my favorite teacher at CWI, he is really organized, he knows all of his students, he replies to emails quickly. I would always look forward to his class and wish he taught even more! If you are new to CWI i would definitely take some classes from him if you want to learn about Philosophy!

I love Prof. Robinson! I took every one of his classes before I graduated. He is a really easy teacher - not because his expectations are low - they are not. He's easy because he's very clear, he prepares students well for exams and he doesn't throw in surprises. He is funny and relatable. He is easy to reach and a good communicator. He's great!

Mike was a very enthusiastic and engaging professor. Show up, be apart of the discussion because you will get a lot out of it, he will tell you what to study and how his tests are set up. No quizzes and a few minor essays (all self reflected). He is extremely funny, passionate, all around cool.

Michael is an old school laid back dude. He doesn't use power points in his lectures yet kept the class tuned in at all times. He was really enthusiastic about what he was teaching us and it seemed like more of a discussion than a lecture. He rocks a sick man bun and has a solid "this is really GOOD STUFF" catchphrase. 10/10 would recommend!

I took his online ethics class and it wasn't super difficult. Be prepared to read. You do weekly discussion boards, 3 exams and your final, and 2 essays which are fairly easy.

He is my favorite professor ever. I was taking his Phil 101 class starting at the beginning of the semester and I needed 3 more credits to get full time so I took his World Religions class just because I enjoyed his teaching style so much! I plan on taking more too! He really knows how to get EVERYONE to understand. I wish we had more like him.

He is a great professor. He made philosophy interesting and exciting. You have to go to class. I barely read the textbook though because it didn't really help me. The lectures matter. He is super approachable and encourages his students to reach out to him. Amazing guy.

I absolutely loved taking Professor Robinsons courses. I took Phil Ethics and Phil101, 10/10 in each class and he knows what he is talking about.

I loved Mike's Phil 101 class. Very funny and engaging professor. All five exam dates are given at the beginning of the course so there are no surprises. Tests are easy as long as you show up and pay attention during lectures. He is very approachable if any questions come up. I recommend taking his class. I would definitely take his class again.

This guy is one of those rare teachers who can make any subject interesting. If any of his courses fall under your degree selection, you will be doing yourself and him a huge favor for him to share his wide range of knowledge and for you to be entertained while learning meaningful aspects of the real world. His engagement is through the roof!

Mike was an awesome teacher, it definitely wasn't one of those lectures where you're stuck looking at the clock the entire time. He was engaging, funny and helpful with any questions. I didn't use the textbook once, the lectures were always enough to pass all the tests with A's.

Mike is the best professor Ive had so far, hes very caring of his students as well as the subject hes teaching. You can tell he knows what hes talking about as his lectures are not only detailed but incredibly fun. I never used the book, and we only had one final 2 page essay. Very well-executed lectures from a true professional and expert in his field. Mike understands his audience and student population, nothing too crazy difficult off the bat, but still enough challenge and intrguie to keep you motivated. Solid professor, solid dude.

This class was easy in many ways-- his lectures were to the point, and the quizzes were basically open book. Very kind professor!

I absolutely loved this class, it was one of my favorites of all time! The lectures are super enjoyable and everything on the exams is written on the board in class time. In other words, take good notes and you are set! There are 5 exams and 1 short paper, he's very easygoing and I would take another class of his just for fun. :D

You touch on some great topics! As long as you do your reading in participation and discussions every week you'll get an A. Those Professor was great at responding quickly to all of my emails outside of class and was very respectful. I highly suggest this professor!

Great Professor, I took this class in the summer so we had twice as much to read and it was a lot to read. There were 3 exams and 2 big papers. Quizzes were not timed so don't worry. Do your discussion posts as well as re posts and you will be fine.

He makes lectures super interesting and so much fun! I had him for both Intro to Philosophy and World Religions in the same day and I looked forward to both classes.

All around, good professor. Was very understanding, gave good feed back, and didn't try to trick us with word play on tests.

Professor Robinson is one of the best professors I have ever had. Not just that his class is easy and enjoyable, but he makes even the exams fun. What's more, the class adapts to your schedule. There are few strict deadlines, and he lets you submit the papers and exams through email. The were available two weeks before the due date.

Professor Robinson is great! I think he truly enjoys his job. He provides excellent videos on each topic. Turn in your work on time, participate in the discussion boards, and you will pass. This was a fun and educational class. Highly recommend.

I took an online course which had a lot of discussion boards. He was very interested in the topics we were learning about. On tests, he provided great feedback on which questions you missed and even went into depth explaining more about your short answer questions. Lots of powerpoints, but if you understand the basic topics, you should do great!

Mike is amazing. He is very friendly, encouraging, and open. He cares about you specifically and he only wants for you to learn and enjoy your time in class. I took him online as well as in person and he is the same. I would highly recommend him. His laugh is contagious and he is all together such a fun person to be around and learn from.

Professor Robinson made our class really neat to take. He encouraged out of the box thinking and how you were graded was outlined easily. There was a lot of reading but I honestly didn't do much of it and still did well in the class. But for me ethics is pretty self-explanatory

Michael is a great professor. PHIL-101 is purely discussion board and exam based, so make sure you don't skip the former. I easily could have had an A if had I consistently done the DBs. He gives insightful feedback and grades fairly. Video lectures are long but very useful. Exams are easy. I'm looking forward to having him for PHIL-103 in Fall!

Mike was great! There really wasn't a huge/heavy workload. Usually, a discussion board post/replies and reading followed up with an exam every few weeks and the final paper at the end. Mike was excellent in his responses to the essay questions on the exams. He is also really quick to respond to emails and communicate with the class regularly.

Professor Robinson was very responsive to emails and willing to work with me when I had an unexpected emergency. His PowerPoint lectures were good and his tests open-book. One essay was required as a signature assignment.

Easy A. Amazing teacher, and very kind and supportive! Always ask question and talk and make yourself known, and you will be good to go! Use Anki or flash cards to study for exams, and study guides, and you will be golden! The only thing you need to keep an eye, is exams, but they are easy, just make sure you review the study guide!

My experience in his class has been both fun and informative. Easily accessible and great to talk with. Encourages out of the box thinking and stands on neutral teaching ground as far as his personal beliefs go, 5/5

He teaches mainly by lecture. His exams are huge, but as long as you take notes, you can easily pass them. What stood out to me about Professor Robinson was how kind, attentive and respectful he was towards his students. He's an incredible, rare gem of a human being. I'd highly recommend his classes. The discussions in there were the best.

What an amazing semester - all because of him! I had so much fun... even though it was online. I was very lucky to have this professor. Super awesome with reasonable workload. The exams were surprisingly fun to take too! I highly recommend this course with this professor. Last but not least, incredibly fast at emails! 10/10.

This man has been sent from the heavens. I don't like philosophy. It is very confusing, and I hated trying to understand the concepts. But it would have been a nightmare if it wasn't for this professor. His lectures were never boring, and his PowerPoints were very digestible. The exams are big, but even my slow brain passed with an A. Love that man

I took Phil 101 as a hybrid, hyflex course, and it was incredibly easy. Mike, the professor, is outstanding. He truly cares about the subject and his students. The lectures were engaging, and he was always available for questions. Attending class or watching the virtual lectures was all it took to succeed. Highly recommend!

Professor Robinson is a great professor. He has a sense of humor and his lectures were fun. All exams are open book so it's really hard to do bad in this class. Assignments were fair and easy and he gives great feedback. 10/10 professor!

Fun lectures and light homework. Course load is mainly discussion boards, plus two papers and three open note, non-timed exams. He participates in the first few discussions, responding to every student and making them feel valuable. Follow the rubric closely, post early in discussions for full credit, and the class is an easy A. Highly recommend!

Professor Robinson makes philosophy engaging and accessible. His lectures are insightful, and he provides helpful study materials. With attendance and participation, even philosophy-averse students can succeed. unstuckstudy was a game-changer for exam prep.
