Tough, yet fair professor, and a great speaker/storyteller. If you do the work and pay attention in class, you'll do fine. If you slack off, he'll notice and grade you accordingly. Do not take his class unless the topic interests you.

He's a pretty cool teacher, he knows a lot about his subject. His classes are sometimes tedious but his tests are always easy. He asigns you books to read but you don't really have to bother with them if you pay attention in class. One time I slept pass one of his exams and he let me do the exam in his office.

very knowledgable in history, and adorable, clever & funny to boot. he's really nice actually, he helped me get my grade changed from an I to a B. i'm not too crazy about history so i can't say i found him 100% interesting. but i like him!

will look you dead in the eye, laugh, and make a joke at your expense! doesnt give out a syllabus.. if you ask him a question more then once he will hang you in the door way and dance around your body while poking you with a stick. stay far away!! hes boring, and will insist on talking if u see him..he is knowlegable about history, but thats it!

He is an extreme analyzer. The questions asked in class are based more on your view of morals and good versus evil and how you feel about society during certain periods of time based on the texts. Be sure to come prepared knowing about the reading material. Tests are pretty easy as long as you listen in class. He's an odd ball but a nice guy!

Idk why he's so lowly graded. I mean, some people in my class don't like him, but he's one of my fav. professors. I mean, it's kind of boring, but come on guys it's a hist lecture! he gives good lectures that are knowledgeable, gives good examples. Never assigns hw. Just study for tests!! U really dnt get many..overall, the class is pretty easy!

Really funny professor with a great personality! The lectures are pretty long, but he gives you a 10-15 minute break in between. Only gives one midterm and a take home final, and 2-3 mediocre assignments in between. Tries to get everyone engaged in the lecture so be ready to get called on or asked a question. Class was pretty easy overall!

Great person honestly made my semester at pace. I'm a science major and they ended up giving me his class. I thought in the beginning I was going to drop the class, but after meeting this guy I didn't want too. Take notes he likes to see you take notes during Lec and he'll grade you easier if he sees you take notes. Great human, I recommend him.

Anyone who gives Prof Rosenfeld a poor rating simply needs to give up on uni now. He's an excellent professor and incredibly fair. He's humorous, kind and knowledgeable. If you're a non history major and not up for the task of taking a history course, don't take out your frustration on a fine professor.

This is one of the best professor i have at pace. His lectures are amazing, doesn't give a lot of work and if i get chance, will surely take him again in the next semester.

He's a sweet old man who is really passionate about history. He's good at lecturing, but it can be kinda difficult because he goes back and forth a lot. You should go on his museum field trips, he's very knowledgeable. He's a fair grader.

Professor RosenFeld is SUPER nice and always is in a good mood, he is so smart as well, yes he gets off topic but that's not always a bad thing. Minimum homework, but Do well on the Assignments he does give out! Pay attention and class and you'll do fine!

As an international student I found his course very helpful. The readings he suggested have lots of useful academic vocabs. His lectures are very interesting and give you a good understanding of western heritage. Exams contain difficult essays, but he's an easy grader. READ everything he assigns, take notes in class and you'll be fine.

He is a great professor and is very knowledgeable, sometimes he isn't clear on what he wants from his students thus it can be easy to not get the best of grades, however, he likes to make the class easy and even gave us a take home final exam

Professor Rosenfeld is a great professor, and you will figure out the reason.

I cant recommend him enough. His class consists of lectures each class. The textbook reading is left to do on your own. He assigns 2-4 papers and either film or museum projects that are simple and allow you to pick something youre interested in. Hes a prof who is genuinely intelligent not just because he is someone in an academia setting.

He talks A LOT. If you really want to learn about the subject, I don't recommend taking his class. But if you want to get credits and good grades, just take his class. If you show up in his classes and submit your homeworks, you can get A. Although his lecture is not that interesting, he is a nice person.

Really nice old guy. Genuinely a very smart guy and likes to ramble on and engage the class in his conversations. For midterms and finals, he assigns a take home essay. If you show up, participate, and do the HW, youll be set.

Rosenfeld is a real wacky dude but has good lectures and encourages class discussion. Great professor, makes it easy to learn, and makes an effort to get to know his students. Wonderful professor, great feedback, easy grader! Definitely recommend!

I think Prof. Rosenfeld is great, and I've really enjoyed the class. We mostly just talk during class and he's very light on homework. Just be sure to take note of names and read the textbook. He's quite accommodating and pretty easy to reach. We talked about religion and he asked me if I had a soul which is pretty funny OOC. 10/10

Best prof I have ever had!! Never a boring lecture, but a class discussion on the topics. He's funny and makes learning the material entertaining. Exams are super easy mostly because the material is easily remembered from a class discussion. Work load is minimal. Two film reviews, one at the beginning of semester one at the end. Highly Recommend!!

The professor is a wacky but engaging lecturer. His class is mostly discussion-based, with manageable assignments. Definitely do the readings and take notes in class. Unstuck study was a lifesaver for study prep. Overall, a solid course!

Professor Rosenfeld's classes are interesting and lecture-based, with few homework assignments. However, you WILL fail if you don't read the syllabus or study. The midterm and final are definitely manageable but the textbook is a must. Approachable outside of class and responds quickly to email, very kind and funny.

He is so nice. I look foward to his classes every week and he is such a sweet man.
