Skelly is AWESOME!!! I had no intrest in Psychology when I entered his class, and now I want to know everything the man has teach about. He's easy going, funny, and willing to talk to you about anything you need to talk to him about. I highly recommend taking his class! Go by the study guide, read your material, and listen closely to everything.

Very down to earth professor, you can succeed if you take notes, test are not complicated at all, as long as you take notes and study them. Funny professor, you will not be bored and the class time flies by.

Shame on anyone who could even say anything bad about Dr. Skelly. He made Psych 101 a blast, he is really fair with his grading, he is the funniest person I think Ive ever met, and he is just a cool guy to go BS with after class. The class wasnt hard at all, just show up and listen to him and you'll do fine. Best professor Ive ever had!

DR.SKELLY IS AWESOME!! I would take him again if i could. His tests are easy if you study for them and go to class. You wont regret going to class, its fun and you wont be bored. If he wasnt a professor he should be a comedian...Definitely recommend him!! =)

This is the best teacher I ever had! His examples in class is hilarious but relevant. I am taking him again for my last semester here. I can not wait because he makes you look forward to class. His tests are kinda hard but if you study then you shoud be find. The quizzes are easy if you pay attention in class. Overall, AWESOME class!!

I got extremely lucky to have Skelly my first semester. He made me realize that I was in the wrong major (education) and helped me so much to switch... into psychology. :] If you have the chance, drop everything and take him. The tests are average difficulty but he gives you a couple free questions. (don't worry, they are not traps.)

Very nice and reasonable. Fast paced class. Tests are hard, but logical - must study! PowerPoint lectures, need to copy everything and will do fine. No complaints about him, will take him again if I can.

Dr. Skelly is honestly a great professor. The class is lecture style with some application to help you understand the topics. (e.g., optical illusions). He does not give you a study guide but if you come to every class and take notes and then actually study your notes you'll be fine. The quizzes are helpful. He's so fun! Study and you'll be fine!

Skelly is my favorite professor so far, and i recomended him to all my friends. Very down to earth and full of personality, he makes understanding general psych very easy. His tests are straight from the notes and you really dont even have to bother buying the book. I never used it.

Amazing professor! Appreciates when a student works hard and rewards them for their creativity. He made a hard class, Experimental, as easy as it could be. Can't blame him for not wanting to put up with students who just can't keep up, otherwise, lazy! Take him and you will be okay, make sure you go to class, why wouldn't you? He's hilarious!

Please TAKE this class. It really isnt that interesting but Skelly makes it funny and interesting. You dont ever stop laughing in this class. I dont use the text book at all. He bases the test off his slides. Best class I have so far! Very good teacher.

BEST PSYCH TEACHER EVER. Hilarious guy, cute too. he makes learning the material fun and entertaining. 2-3 reaction papers as hw throughout the semester, 1 pg, super easy. Study for the tests, all notes are on powerpoint so i suggest bringing a laptop to type them, unless you like writing 8 pages/class. Awesome guy, I recommend him to everyone. :D

He is so helpful if needed. His class consists of every class he has a PowerPoint and all the notes you need are there just make sure you write everything down and study it. Very funny and down to earth, and younger so he relates to us college students well. Go to class, read the book, and take good notes and you shouldn't have a problem. It is challenging but not necessarily that difficult unless you procrastinate and make it difficult for yourself. I would take his class again.

He is seriously one of THE best professors I've had! He inspired me to become a psych major. This class is pretty easy as long as you go to class and study. Class was always so much fun! He is very entertains and very knowledgable. I know that I will be taking him for every class I can in the future!

He never posted the notes on D2L because he said that students "remember it better if they write it down," which might seem annoying, but he's right! It really does help a lot! Skelly has no word filter. He is hilarious and curses often. You need to listen to his lectures but reading isn't essential. If you understand what his lectures are about then the test will be fairly easy. He allows students to do some extra credit and is very easy going and helpful if you ask him. If you miss a class its your loss.

Really upset that I waited my last semester to take him because he is the best professor I have ever had. He is hilarious and has an amazing ability to connect the material to life experiences. If you're taking 101, take Skelly. The lecture was a blast, the tests were fair, but some questions were unclear. Aside from studying there was 0 out of class work. Each exam had maybe 1 question from the text, but I never read the text and received an A.

Professor Skelly was the best teacher I have ever had. He is very knowledgeable and is a pretty easy going guy. Lectures are basically the tests with them being both informative and funny. Text book is not really needed just take good notes. Overall I would take Skelly again in a heart beat.

Dr. Skelly was one of my first professors at Edinboro last semester. He is absolutely hilarious and his examples stick in your head extremely well. You take a lot of notes and he gives thorough examples throughout the course. He is always helpful when you need it. I highly recommend taking psy101 with him. You will NOT be disappointed.

Dr. Skelly is a fantastic professor. Yeah, you have to work hard for your grade, but he makes his lectures entertaining and relatable. Plus, he genuinely care about his students. If you put in the effort, and are willing to talk to him when you find yourself struggling, you'll have no problem passing his courses.

This man should've been a stand up comedian. I laughed every class. His lectures are great and up with the times. He mixes in personal stories that relate to the lecture topics. I absolutely adore Dr. Skelly. His tests are the only grades you receive, and he does offer bonus towards the end of the term. Also-speak up in class. Every once in a while if you answer a question, he offers a bonus point to you on the next test. Hes very easy going and hilarious. Talk to him outside of class and he will answer any questions.

Skelly really is one of the best professors out there. Definitely go to class and take notes, since his tests are pretty much all off of his lectures. amazing professor, i recommend reading the notes the day after you get them if you study you will easily get a good grade, go to class the slides are not posted and he tells you things in class that you won't know unless you go, he does give easy extra credit, you just need do it

Absolute amazing professor. I had him for two courses. He has been my favorite professor by far. He is very funny. He does quizzes. His tests are based off of the lectures and notes you take. If you show up to class and take notes during class then you will pass. If you don't understand something, then he is always very good at explaining it.

I took his asynchronous class due to COVID and it was my favorite class by far. He posts lectures and makes them enjoyable to watch with his witty personality. Tests are straight from his lectures so watch them and take notes. He gives lots of extra credit. Go to his optional zoom meetings, he is so fun to talk to and I got even more extra credit!!

Very generous with extra credit/free test points. Def take if you have trouble with psyche; he makes it feel easier without dulling the material down at all- a great balancing act.

Everybody's favorite professor. Never heard a bad thing about him before. Makes class so exciting and fun. Truly has a great way of teaching. Extra credit opportunities towards the end of the course and no homework. Exam grades matter because there is no homework, but he gives you everything you need ot know for the exams.

I was required to take this class for my major, however, this class was entertaining. The subject is heavy, but he kept the class engaged. He's very funny and I love how he hates on Texas every chance he gets. I'm not really a fan of psychology, but I would definitely take the class again just because of how funny he is.

Amazing professor!! Always look forward to his class which is not very common for me. I actually understand what he is explaining because he uses real world examples to go along with everything that he is saying for you to relate to it. Notes are always up on the screen behind him and he makes sure to leave it up long enough for everyone.

As long as you pay attention and go to class, you'll be fine. The only grades for his class are the 5 exams, and they really aren't that hard and are more based off real life scenarios. But definitely 10/10 would take his class again.
