He is an awesome teacher. He tries to make class fun. Sometimes he can be a little freaky!

He is very nice and very helpful. He gets the class involved and makes math interesting and easy. I suggest taking him if you have to take any math classes.

He was my first math teacher at UWO and he was GREAT, went thru examples on board and was very easy going. He really made sure that there was no surprises on the exams and told you what to expect. Very fair grader, fun teacher, gave extra credit points. Take him if you can.

I hate math, but this class wasn't bad. This was the first college math class that I did good in. If you don't normally fair well in math this is the professor for you. yes, he is a little nerdy, but very nice and helpfull. two thumbs up

I really didn't need to take a PBIS class, so things seemed to move really slowly for me. Still, it was intriguing stuff, and he was a nice guy. I enjoyed it.

easy course with an even easier professor. he gives you all the test and quiz qeustions. Hint: argue for points back on test and quizes saying that the qeustion was unclear and you'll win most of the time.

Excellent professor. He teaches very clearly and concisely. Covers all the material required for the test before administering it. Offers lots of extra credit and if you try hard may raise your final grade even if your grades didn't average it.

as long as you go to class, you'll do ok. he doesnt grade on attendance, but he does teach to the tests.

The classroom setting was very relaxing. You could just talk up and add suggestions and what not. It seemed like you were just getting together with a bunch of friends to discuss math. His tests were pretty fair if you fight back for points which he allows you to after every test/quiz..sometimes he forgets what he does and does not teach.

He is a very weird guy. He is nice but strange. Overall he is good at explaining things and organizing notes to help you. He will help you whenever you ask and is happy to have someone come and visit him during office hours. The concepts, since most are problem solving, can be tricky so it is good not to miss class.

He was one of my favorite professors! He was such a funny guy, and very helpful if you ever had questions. Tests aren't too bad, just study your notes. You get to use notecards on two of the exams! I would definatly advise you to take him if you need a PBIS class.

The best math teacher I've ever had. Very helpful, organized, and funny. I would highly recommend anybody to take math 103 with this professor.

He's a big nerd but he likes sports so that's pretty cool. It's nice because 40% is homework attendance and quizzes and 20% for three exams. If you go to class u should get at least 30 of the 40% for homework. He can be tricky and annoying sometimes, but as long as u study u should get at least a c or bc. The final is multiple choice and notecards!

BEST MATH PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD. super easy, super helpful, very nice/laid back guy. my class even convinced him to cancel class on a friday just because it was halloween! he's great. exams are a PIECE OF CAKE. if you can do third grade math you will ace this course with him.

Really nice professor, gives out tons of extra credit and gives out awesome reviews for test. The Quiz are easy if you study and he does not check homework it's optional. Need help he will gladly help, his teaching method is not the best but it's not the worst and it works so it's all good.

Very easy class. Very good teacher. He is very laid back. Trys to make class fun. His exams are pretty much is review packet. He will put some of the same things from the review on the exam. Overall a good professor.

He is probably the best math professor at Oshkosh. He always gives you as much time as you need for exams. He is very understanding and always in his office to help. Math 217 is a breeze!!!

Skowronskin is a very caring and will go out of his way to help you succeed in math. He doesn't mind explaining it over again and he doesn't make you feel dumb. He is one of the true best and if you are a sports nut he is your man.

The BEST math teacher you could hope for! He'll go over anything as many times as you need and will explain it the way that will help you! He goes over EVERYTHING that will be on the test so there's no surprises. Class is comfortable- he doesn't make you feel bad to ask a question. He'll crack some lame jokes to keep that class casual. AMAZING!!

I would recommend mike for any class. He really loves his job and is more than willing to give extra help. He even came in on saturdays to have a math study group. Great teacher and is very laid back.

Mike is an awesome math teacher. First of all, he teaches everything that will prepare you for his tests. He literally tells you every problem that will be on them and takes a whole class day to go over any questions. He is very helpful when it comes to asking for help. If you visit him during office hours, he will even give you points back on. :)

This guy professor is amazing. He was very helpful in class and taught in a way that was easy to understand. Even when I took a different math class the following semester I went to him with questions and he took the time to help me. He is a very nice guy. I would take any class he taught. Very helpful!

Mike is such a great professor! He is easy to understand and you always know what to expect on the tests. He is always willing to help and you can tell that he really likes his job! He was always cracking jokes and talking about sports. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

He really cares and wants you to pass. I completely hate math, with a passion. It is my second time taking this class, but first time with him. He is super helpful, super nice, very laid back and understanding. I was going through some health issues and I never had a problem making anything up. I even missed an exam. He really wants you to pass.

Such a nice guy! Clearly explains how to do each type of problem. Goes over what type of problems will be on the test the lecture before the actual test. Gives credit for attempting the problems, if you have the right idea going. Easy to approach with questions and concerns. He really cares about his students! Points for showing up for class!!

Mike is seriously awesome. This is my second time taking this class and I can say that this time around was way better. Mike gives you clear instructions on what the exams are going to look like and what to expect. He cares so much about his students. This is one professor that I actually believe is truly there for you.

So friendly! If you need help he will definitely help you. He's very flexible with is office hours and if you need him, he will be there. He likes to make jokes and they're actually pretty funny. I'm not the best at math but he made it a lot easier for me to grasp.

He wants you do to well and offers take home exams, extra credit, and you can visit him during office hours. His exams have changed from the past versions so do not rely on those old copies to study from!

He's there for you and wants people to pass, as well as he is a great person. I recommend him to anybody who wants an A in math.

Mike is a wonderful teacher. He understands that you pay to take his class. If you go to his office he will help you through any problem, even on a take home exam. He gives out a lot of easy homework so you can have cushion on your grade. Just do the homework and you should get an A.

Mike is such a good guy and he genuinely cares about helping you succeed. His take home exams are tough, but you can go into his office for help and he'll guide you through it. Mike is a nice guy and really cares about his students, but his grading on tests and take home exams are extremely tough. The concepts of the class are easy, but you need to work hard in order to get the grade you want (especially on tests). Not my favorite but you could get by

This guy will do anything to help you if you are having trouble. He will meet you at anytime even on the weekends to help you out if you have questions. Will openly help you on homework and other things. Great teacher!!!

Best math prof. ever! He was clear, gave numerous examples on how to do problems, connected the dots throughout the course content, and was the most helpful prof. I have ever had. Take him, go to class, take notes, redo his practice tests over and over until you understand them and you will pass.

Amazing guy, very nice. He is great at helping you if you have any questions/problems. He gives detailed study guides. My only issue was that he never assigned homework. It's kind of hard to pass a math course without ever practicing what you learned. I would suggest taking him, but if you learn by doing something over and over beware.

Easy tests and allows you to do corrections. If you go in for help he makes it very easy to understand. I would take his class again.

Had him for an interim and he was awesome! Knows what he's talking about and knows how to teach well. He understood that math is not a common forte so he encouraged you to ask him for help. Was also very accommodating when I had to go to the hospital during his class, made sure I still understood and rescheduled my quiz. Would recommend!!

REALLY liked this professor. Such a nice guy, was always in his office hours getting help and I went from getting a C on an exam to an A- or B+ by showing him that I knew what I was doing but was not a good test taker. As for attendance, he's not to strict but obviously would like students to show up. Would without a doubt take again.

Such a nice guy. Makes sure everyone understands the concept before moving on to new information. Not a lot of homework, just some graded group worksheets. Don't have to go to class, but it definitely helps so you don't fall behind!

Absolutely loved Mike as a professor! One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Tests are not difficult if you do his practice exams, and sometimes he will even let you make corrections if you ask. Easily one of the best professors I've ever had.

Mike is a very approachable guy, and understands that math isn't everyone's strongest subject. His tests aren't hard if u do the practice quizzes. Only homework he assigns are online quizzes, most of which he goes over in class. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK. He only recommends it for extra practice which tbh u dont need if u write down his examples in class

Mike is probably the best professor I've ever had! He has office hours EVERYDAY and is extremely accommodating. I was sick the day of an exam and it was no problem and we set up a different time. He let us make corrections on 2 exams and offers extra credit. Overall such a nice guy, he is really there to help you. I would definitely recommend him!

Super helpful! He basically works on homework in class which helps you easily get your homework done, and if you dont get a homework assignment you just email him and he basically gives you the answer. Hes super super flexible with everything, from the homework to exams!!

Mike is honestly the best teacher Ive had so far. He is always willing to see students during his office hours to help them with anything, even homework and take home exams. His tests are very clear and well structured. He will go over a practice exam similar to the actual one so that students know what to expect. Definitely pick him.

Mike is one of the best professors I have had. He goes out of his way to make sure everyone understands the material and is really passionate about what he teaches! If you have a chance to take him as a teacher, I wouldn't pass that up.

Rarely had homework in this class. Sometimes gives extra credit for showing up on Fridays, so make sure you do. If you miss class though, you typically don't miss too much. Offers test corrections as well! Tests are super easy and he tells you almost everything that's going to be on there.

Mike is one of my TAP professors and he has been nothing but helpful. He teaches with passion and he goes through lessons slow to make sure everyone understand. Awesome teacher.

One of the best professors Ive had here at Uwo! He is so helpful and sweet! He really wants to make sure you will pass his class but you need to make sure you do the work. He is very welcoming and when you need help he is always there!

Math is a difficult subject for me, but Mike makes it more enjoyable and understanding. He is always willing to help you with anything and always available outside of class. He is willing to go out of his way and will always do what it takes to get you to pass and/or get a good grade. Tests aren't made to trick you!

I had him for a stats class, he walked through everything with examples. He has options for extra credit, he's very easy to reach outside of class. Anything you need for homework / questions in general he basically tells you the answer he's looking for. Tries his best to make stats as interesting as possible!

Math has always been a struggle for me but Skowronski made it easier to understand. He really cares about his students and will meet anytime or anywhere if you are struggling and need help. Extra credit was offered towards the end of the semester. I really think anyone who gets a chance should take him.

Class wasnt too difficult he gives plenty of examples and plenty of time to do the homework. He also dropped our lowest grade and the textbook was free online.

This is my second time having Mike. I normally dont like math but he has to be one of the best math professors hands down!!!! Really cares and respects students and wants them to do their best! Offers corrections to homework which saved my grade. He also gives extra credit out once and awhile. I really recommend anyone to take his class.

Mike is a real gem of a professor. Great availability, truly tries and cares about his students. Don't take him for granted like a lot of students do.

Michael is one of my favorite professors. I have always been someone who has struggled with math, but with Michael it seems as everything starts to click. He is such an understand professor and someone who cares about his students. He often tends to give out extra credit. He loves to give examples. I recommend any student to take him!

Skowronski is a great professor! He is very personable and makes class interesting and inclusive. Prof Skowronski is easily my favorite professor I have had so far at UWO. His lectures are easy to follow and he explains material clearly. He prepares you for exams extremely well during the in class reviews as well. He is genuinely a good guy who wants you to succeed.

Amazing professor! Told us exactly what would be on the test and gave us a chance to do test corrections. Only thing that was a little confusing was ALEKS, the due dates seemed unpredictable/random. He was also super non-judgemental about questions!

I absolutely love Michael and would recommend him to anyone! I'm by no means a math person, but I understood his lessons. He is always recommending that you attend his office hours and is willing to answer any questions. He also is a very entertaining professor! 10/10.

He is an amazing math professor for incoming students if you aren't the best at math, he is an easy grader as long as you do the homework and show up to participate. He is very flexible with any missing work. I wish I could take him for every math that is required, he is a very funny guy.

Allows you to make corrections on the things you got wrong. Easy to get an A if you make an effort and make corrections. (I did not make all of the corrections like I could have) He is always willing to help
