Mr. Tinnirello is a wonderful professor. He will take the time to make sure you understand. If you do not understand chemistry, take this class and he will make sure you pass with an understanding of chemistry.

Mr. T is such a great teacher. I have to admit I was kind of scared of how hard I thought Chemsitry was going to be until I took his class. He is very helpful, and wants everyone to pass, so he offers study sessions which help a lot and pretty much tells you exactly what to study. I highly reccomend

He also teaches intro to organic chemistry. I highly recommend this professor.

So far, since i'm taking him right now, he's boringly easy. hes really nice tho and he has these really stupid jokes- all you can do is smile and shake yer head. he goes out of the way to try to help - even comes in on weekends to help you study for the midterm. i reccomend him if you don't have any familiarity with chemistry, or are a slow learner

Mr T is the best chemistry teacher EVER. I was a little sketch about taking chem because I never took it before but Mr T made it so easy and awesome to learn. He's so helpful and entertaining. There is no better teacher for chemistry. You must take this professor. Mr T you rock.

I was dreading Chem but this was by far a great teacher. Mr. Sn-irello made this subject interesting and understandable. I wish there were more classes Mr Sn-innirello was teaching. Mr. T takes a hard subject and simplifies-it making it easy- Though you will spend time daydreaming over his cuteness -Do your optional homework as you will need it. He loves teaching and is a chemist by profession ) works at Edwards Base- will hold study sessions up to 3 times -the weekend before midterm/Finals. Very funny and very good looking.

MR. T Rocks! I took this class last semester with some crazy Russian Lady I couldn't understand. I was very nervous about re taking the class again...but Mr. T teaches it in the simplest terms possible. He is the BEST!

HE IS THE BEST!! especially when you have a heavy load the class was very easy and he only teaches you what you need to know for the test he does not add all the extras. The final consisted of 5 questions!! its way to easy to fail and he is not looking to fail you either. Great easy class!!

Extremely helpful, taking time out of his schedule to put together reviews before quizzes and tests. Makes quirky jokes, but you have to admire the man for trying to make chem less dry.

If you need to take an easy class to pass, this is it. If you want to learn something, don't take this teacher. He is nice, he is helpful, but he is not teaching for you to learn the subject, but only to pass. Sorry, it's the way I see it. When you spend your hard earned money and time for a class, you should expect to learn something.

Great teacher! He wants you to actually learn and he helps you do that. He knows what he is talking about. I recommend going to the SAS (study) class because he goes over the problems that are on the quizes and tests and he will help with your lab quizes as well.

Mr. Tinnirello is such a helpful professor! I took his Chem 101 class this spring. He does use power point for his lectures and is a bit quick so write fast! =O) Oh! And his quizes aren't too hard, if you study the material enough you'll be sure to get an A in this class. Hope this helps!

If Chem is completely new to you, I highly recommend Mr. T. His clarity is great and offers plenty of review sessions if you need extra help. Questions on quizzes, midterms, and finals are from homework(not mandatory), so if you decide to do the hw for practice it will pay off. He will even help you during tests. Take him if you want to pass!

Mr. T is 1 of the sweetest professors! He takes his time to really help his students understand the material. Exams are really easy (especially if you do the hw cause the questions come straight from it). Offers study sessions if you need extra help. His lab was really fun too. Overall GREAT professor! I wish more professors were more like him!

Mr. Tinnirello is the best chemistry teacher on campus! He keeps lecture interesting with his weird voices and dumb jokes. He really cares about his students, and will go out of his way to ensure that his students succeed. He is such a sweet heart, but still a serious teacher, his tests are harder than you might expect, but still totally doable.

Is an excellant teacher. I haven't had a Chemistry class since 1981 and he made it easy to understand. Will set up anytime you need for extra help. Test are from the homework. Do all your Math classes first and this class will be easy. Great teacher.

Mr. T is the perfect kind of professor one can ask for. He is very helpful and even willing to give review classes during his free time. He provides the students with all the info needed for the tests, no surprises. He offers extra credit if needed. If more professors were like Mr. T, then school would be a much happier place. Easy Teacher. He explains well he lets you have a cheat sheet for all tests. Easy A if you attend class regularly.

Lecture is 100% math. Mr T repeatedly goes over the steps and formulas needed for the problems. He gives you only what you need, not what you don't. Attendance is vital to learn the equations. NO CHEM background is needed for this class, only your attention. He does review classes in his free time (not paid). Truely a great teacher.

SUPER FUN AND INTERESTING TEACHER. He is always in a happy mood and will be willing to help you no matter what. He will even hold after school study sessions to help you more. He will let you make up a quiz if you missed it so your grade wont drop. Took his class at 7-10pm and he kept me awake with his teachings,& his funny jokes & voices lol.

Awesome chemistry teacher!! Should be a lecture teacher as well as lab! Shows you how to do chemistry. Explains everything that you don't understand. I really enjoyed his class.

Mr. Tinnerello is not the best at explaining chemistry but he is pretty good. Also he goes far out of his way holding review sessions on practically any day of the week at any time of day to make sure students will understand. I thought he was hilarious. Would recommend especially if you don't need more chemistry than 101 or 110.

Take Mr. T! I was terrified to take Chemistry. Easiness 2 for subject itself. Formulas & math are not my favorite. Mr. T is a dedicated teacher who made learning a tough subject fun & interesting. He goes above & beyond to make sure you understand the concepts by explaining them in ways that will click. He also offers SA & personal sessions.

Mr. T is a great teacher, I wish he taught more sciences. Would make taking more science easier. He is there for his students., current and past. He will give you all the time you need. Mr T is Excellent, he goes out of his way to explain things to people who are confused. He held weekend study sessions and spent extra time reviewing for tests. Don't expect to learn everything in lecture, studying and practicing equations is key for an A grade. I cant stress enough how important practicing equations is.

I really enjoyed his teaching style. He only teaches what's going to be on the test and uses simplicity that everyone can understand. He does quizzes at the end of every class and in each quiz you can receive 10 points of extra credit which adds up to your overall grade. He is funny, approachable, and very caring. I love this guy. Mr. T is hilarious. I'm going to be honest and say that I suck at chemistry, but he made everything so simple and easy to understand. There is a short quiz at the end of every lecture class, plus extra credit questions. This class is impossible to fail. There's a midterm and a final, with extra credit as well. Please take this class.

I struggled with chem back in high school but taking Mr. T Spring 2016 I passed with an A. Each class at the end, you have a quiz on what you learned even including some extra credit questions. There was no hw. He hosts study sessions for those who have question or are struggling. And the best part of his class it was never boring.

Had Mr. T for lecture but not lab (really regret, make sure you have him for lab too!!) He is so funny, I was never bored in class. At the end of every lecture there is a quiz with extra credit, no hw, midterm and final also with extra credit and he offers tons of review classes. He is not an easy A, you have to try but it's not hard to get an A.

It all comes down to a great professor. (Wish i had him for lab too) He makes silly jokes like ATP and kcal9. And I STILL remember them. And that's the point. His lectures aren't boring but memorable. He makes chemistry fun and understandable. Easy A if you just try! Seriously, I'm an English major and he was able to make everything easy to grasp.

He is a good guy. YOU really have to read the chapters before the lecture, otherwise you will get lost. Ask him for help, he is always willing to help you. Tons of extra credit so that is a plus. He does not use powerpoints or handouts, just his own lecture on the board. Do the HW exercises and pay attention and you should be ok. He is funny!!!

Tinnirello is an awesome professor. He really breaks chemistry down so that everyone can understand it. He'll answer any question, and will answer it multiple times happily if people ask the same one over and over. There's a quiz every class, but its very easy and there's always lots of extra credit. You can use a cheat sheet on every test/quiz

Took him for lab. All the work is done in groups, including the midterm, final and all tests and quizzes. Open notes, open book and you can work with a partner. Easily approachable, laid back guy. Hes actually surprisingly very funny if you listen to what he says. Not much else to say, Id take him again.

Really enjoyed his class! Learned a lot and honestly it wasnt even that hard. A quiz every class but he offers extra credit so youll always get a good grade! Test are pretty straight forward if you study youll pass.

I enjoyed chem 101 because of him. Made it super easy to understand. Clear criteria. Extra credit should allow all to pass easily. Sweet man, be ready to study and put in the work and you can easily get an A! Wish he would teach more chem classes.

I never took chem before. There's no reason for you not to pass unless you're seriously not even trying. If you're struggling (I did), then you bought the book, so use it! If you need more clarification ask Mr. T. Do the optional hw to remember how to do the problems. Your lab group has 3-4 ppl you sit with on the 1st day, so sit with smart ppl!

Mr.T is a great professor he has amazing lectures and the quizzes are easy if you remember and study from your notes. Id recommend if you dont like Chemistry.

I was nervous taking Chemistry but Mr. T made it a breeze. He gives extra credit and whatever he teaches in class is whats going to be on the tests. Mr. T is great. He understands this is an intro course and makes sure you understand the fundamentals. He does exactly what he says he is going to. There are quizzes every lecture and he offered extra credit on top of it. If you do not pass this class with a B or better you are just lazy. He was awesome!

Mr. T was one of the best instructors that I have ever had. Very caring and straight forward. Realistic about expectations in his class. Rather than sit in class writing notes for lecture, he worked problems out to give us the practice. He also gave quizzes every class that were used towards extra credit. He's an awesome teacher!!

He was an easy A for such a difficult subject! He really explains everything in a way many students can understand if paying attention. Although he does not require you to show up to every class, you'll want to go so you don't miss any lecture. Gives extra credit during every test so there is no reason not to pass! Great teacher!

Loved Mr. T, very caring and offered extra help if needed. 10 quizzes, a midterm and a final. Thats all he has on the class. No papers, no projects. I also took the lab with him and it was the easiest lab i have ever partaken in. Only complaint is he would give harder questions on the midterm/final.

I would take the class again if I could. I passed anyways though. This was a tough class to take in winter intersession. Im sure I would have gotten an A in a regular semester. He is sweet, hilarious, and answers any questions you have if you dont understand something. Hard course but he helps you through it. Thanks Mr. T!

The test is taken in groups so if chemistry isn't your strong subject you will have help from other classmates in your group to get a high score on a test. Homework isn't graded but should be competed to prepare for test.

10/10 Professor! Has you work in groups of 4, everyone in the the groups gets the same grade. Writing can be messy but if you pay attention its easy to understand. Very caring and nice! Is definitely there to help you learn and succeed! Would definitely take again

Pay attention to his lectures, whatever he is teaching for the night will be on the quiz. Ask questions hes very understanding and witty. Always print out his notes and cheat sheets. Your lecture grade is solely based on quizzes and he doesnt do retakes so you need to pay attention. Homework is recommended but not required, do it if ur struggling

A quiz in every lecture class, take good notes, ask questions. He provides cheat sheets, USE THEM! Lab assignments, quizzes and exams were done in groups. Gives extra credit questions in quizzes and exams. HW assignments were not turned in, only lab. I recommend do HW assignments, quizzes and exams are based off of the HW. Study and you will pass

Mr. T makes chem understandable. He takes the time to review things you don't get. I am glad I took him, I learned a lot from his class. Take him! You won't regret it.

Mr. T is so cool, I had him for lab only and we worked on our tests and lab hw in groups. Good thing his tests are not timed and if you have a question he'll try to help you on the test but show your work!!! He'll answer your questions and emails. He's funny and I totally recommend him.

Great professor! took his Saturday class. He goes over problems many times to help the ones who struggle. Learn how to use the tools he makes available to you, it will make your life easier and the class enjoyable. Sit next to smart people in Lab, they will be your group throughout the semester. Mr. T is an awesome professor! The first 2 quizzes I failed but I didn't give up to understand the material. He gives extra credit for every quiz. Also provides extra credit for the midterm and final. STUDY FOR EVERY EXAM!! If you are struggling make a study group or go to tutoring. This class is a point-based grade. He also provides cheat sheets!

Mr.T was amazing!!! I can literally not stress it enough. His tests were the same as his teaching material and a lot of the questions that were on the tests were questions in the book. Definitely would recommend. Sometimes his way of teaching certain things was difficult but using Melissa and Matt on youtube helped out SOO MUCH!!!

As a OSD student, I took this professor during Spring "2023" he is very respected and caring. He would tutor some of us for 1+ hour on his day off. He gave a lot of examples and more. He showed that he cared for his students, knowing that chemistry is hard but he finds way to make it easy. Very few quiz/test with E/C to help. Great Professor!!!
