This teacher makes algebra fun and helps you understand the methods used. I recommend him to all students going into Algebra. He breaks it all to down so you understand, takes time before class to assist his students. Thank you for being my teacher.

Great professor! I am currently taking his class and I am finally understanding Algebra! I have taken this class with three other professors that I could not understand and I finally found a great professor I can understand! He is really nice and very helpful when you have questions!

Very patient and kind. Gives extra credit for doing the homework. If you show a strong interest, he'll take an interest in helping you to succeed. I previously took this class with Natian (don't ever take him!!) and did poorly. Great instructor!!

He makes the math understandable, breaks it down to a better level of easiness, but if you are slow with tests, the 12 question test is 45 minutes, you better pickup the pace, he starts to take off points after he calls time, those the neg points will bring the score down on your test.

to be honest this teacher is very i mean very very strict when it comes to attendance... if your late 1min. its considered LATE!!!!!!!!!!!! no make or extra work... he teaches very fast.... so fast sometimes you feel you dont even have time to take notes.. good luck.....

The class is a good algebra class can be. The pace is what is needed to cover the lesson being taught that week. He spends as much time with questions as needed in class. He is there 30 min before class to help you with any problems. Homework grades is applied to the test scores at 5% extra, So an A without doing homework is possible. "AAA Guy"

Great at teaching. I actually am interested in learning the stuff he teaches. I've got stragiht B's on my test so far, with other teachers I would have been failing. This is my 4th time taking this math class and I am really understanding it. Very funny guy.

He is a really good teacher as long as you show up to learn.He is very strict about his attendance policies but he is very fair.Homework is your responsibility and choice to do if you want the extra 5% credit and it all adds up in the end.If math is difficult for you take him,he will clarify it!

Mr. Mori is the best Math teacher I've ever have. He explain all materials so clear, that everybody could understand it. He try to help every student, always answer questions and it's really helpfull for international students. Come to class every lesson, do your home work and then you would be happy to see your grades at the end of semester!

Mr. Mori is an exceptional teacher and I will definitely be taking him as I progress. Take him! He uses a tablet PC and projects everything on his screen onto the overhead board (super clear and easy to see). He provides notes as print-outs available on his website so that you can print them ahead of time for each class. He drops two lowest tests!

I may be overrating Mr. Mori for some, but I was just taken over by his way of teaching. I love it! After the first week of school I came home and told my beau that Mr. Mori is a math angel! When he spoke I understood! He puts everything in layperson's terms. He is really good.

Let me tell you,about how good this professor is. I took this same class 2 semesters ago for 16 weeks. I didn't understand a thing,the teacher was martinez buy the way don't take him end up with a D.Took mori for 5 weeks winter class, got an A and understand math he is good. good for math chalenged individual. He is the man. AAAAA PLUS TEACHER.

Mori is well educated and knows how to teach. If your willing to put in effort, youll get an A and leave with the knowledge of math. and even if you just show up and pay attention youll leave the class with a better understanding. Hes awesome. Love his stories.

Best teacher I've ever had. I had a very rough/emotional semester -he went out of his way to make sure I was still understanding the material & let me know he was there if I needed to talk. He teaches children at another school -he teaches the material in a way that people who struggle with math will understand! Lots of tests, but AMAZING teacher!

If Math isn't your best subject, TAKE THIS TEACHER. I swear, I've despised Math all my life, but Mori's clear & easy-to-understand teaching methods made me understand this subject. I actually like doing math now & I do it well! Just refresh yourself w/ the chapter practice tests in the book before each test & you'll do great!

Mr. Mori is one of the best math professors at Valley College. He is very organized and never skips a step when working out math problems. Unfortunatley he's only part-time and teaches only one class per semester, which is usually 115 or 125.

Nice teacher, cheap jokes but I find myself laughing here and there. Doesnt emphasize what the answer is, instead on how to get the answer, FUNDAMENTALS, FUNDAMENTALS, FUNDAMENTALS! He actually teaches you the terms in algebra instead of teaching you just the math. I agree with the previous comments, "If math isnt your subject, take this professor.

He has the patience of a monk, he will baby you all the way till the last minute before the test. You can tell he enjoys teaching. Be ready to do your homework, he goes through everything in class.

Mori's a very sweet teacher with a good sense of humor. He does a great job of simplifying the math, making it easily understood. Bring the printouts, and attend class. You aren't going to find a better teacher!

If you don't do your homework, he will not accept questions if you need help. He does this as an incentive to HELP you. HW is 5 points of your quiz grade. He explains concepts fully until it's redundant. This is also to HELP you. He also posts his lessons online, so that you can review what was done in class. Cheesy jokes, but a very good teacher.

ive always been HORRIBLE at math. Professor Mori honestly made that change. He clarifies EVERYTHING. His lectures are not boring at all. He posts his lectures online, so you can go over them if you missed one, or for studying. He is honestly the best math professor I've ever had. attendance gives you extra credit, but its very good to go.

I sucked at Math for so long, he was easy to understand is a fair grader. Lucky to find him. Gives you 2 percent bump if you attend the classes and take all the tests. I got a B and I didn't think I'd do well. Only negative thing is there is a test every week and after the test you can't leave and he continues the next lecture

Mr. Mori is the reason I like math. He helped me realized math is not so hard and anyone can do it. He is super organized and clear. He has the notes ready you just have to pring them so you dont waste time copying and can have full attention. The points he gives you for the hw goes toward the exam score. Look no more take him. Its a true blessing.

As long as you go to class and do your homework, you will do just fine. He makes learning Algebra easy and wants you to learn the meaning behind it vs what the "rules" of it are. I really enjoyed his class. He was so nice, helpful and funny.

Professor Mori has a very brilliant approach of teaching. He uploads her lecture on you tube so you can watch it anywhere, andy time. The class has a lot of work because youre going to be tested every single week. Over all, he's a very good teacher. I would recommend him if you are not that good in math.

I've taken Elem Alg. 3 times at SMC. I'm not fond of math at all, but Mori's approach has given me hope that I can make it out of math for good. Tests are easy and he doesn't try to trick you. Best part is he has youtube vids that are IDENTICAL to how he phrased it in class. He creates notes for you to print. You get +2% for attendance. TAKE HIM!!!

A nice & humorous teacher, he will help out if you have any questions, as long as you turned in the homework or you didn't leave class early the class before. His online math videos helped a TON. PLEASE WATCH THEM, you pretty much don't even have to show up technically unless it's a test day. The tests have no real trick questions, which is great!

Very great math professor! :) he goes very in depth to help a student out if they are not understanding something. He even has videos of his lectures if you are sick or if you just need to see the lesson again. He gives a test every chapter and attendance is mandatory because he gives you two percent extra for no more than two absences or tardies.

I've always had a hard time with math, but Mr. Mori had a way of breaking concepts down into a simple and understandable language. I got a better hold of math from him in one month than all of my other years of trying and failing to grasp these concepts. His youtube videos are a godsend. You can literally pound these concepts into your head.

EXCELLENT teacher. I dont know why he has so many students bad mouthing his teaching. Not only does he teach well in class but he also has Youtube videos that help just incase you got behind inside the classroom. I for one HATE math but he just made it so simple. I've always had problems with math & Mori made it very easy. His class lectures might help you with your Hw but he will give you chances to ask questions. Unlike other professors he grades tests very easily. Hw is worth 5 points but trust those 5 points get added to your test & make a huge difference.

Prof. Mori is fantastic ! He's the best math teacher I've ever had. I wish he taught higher math classes! He has videos of the sample problems on his website and practice sheets to print out and fill in as he lectures. Also he is very generous with his grading on tests and absences. I never felt shamed asking questions because he was very kind.

He is super nice, tries to make math fun. I really like him, he makes math super clear to understand. YOU HAVE TO DO THE HOMEWORK but he doesn't give a lot of problems you get to skip a lot. the homework goes toward the test grades which helps a lot. I recommend him, if you're on time and do your homework you will get an A.

Always struggled with math, attempted this course 2 times and dropped but then took Mori's class, his teaching style is amazing. He posts his lectures so you have a chance to go back and watch it again. Wish he taught the next math I need to take.

Great teacher! You must be in class because he grades off attendance, and doing homework is crucial to pass his class. A little weird, but all good teachers are. Does a very good job helping students understand material and homework. He will do his best to answer all question, before and after class.

This professor, in my opinion, is the best math professor. I ended up taking this class because the easier ones were full, but I don't regret it one bit. He helps a lot in ensuring that you understand the material, and is nice with grading. He uses a website for posting grades, so you always know where you stand in the class. I would take him again

Professor Mori was by far the best math teacher I have ever had. Before taking his class in the fall, I hadn't taken a math class in 12 years so I was really nervous. I ended up passing with a 99.7% and was amazed. He's extremely organized and clear about all of the requirements. As long as you put in the effort it's easy to do great in this class.

I have never been good at math, but taking Professor Mori I now have found a new love for Math. Not only do I get how to do math now, I actually enjoy it. If you are one of those people who struggle with Math take him. He'll teach you how to do Math not how to remember all these rules for Math.

Professor is good at grading and helping you understand if you are not clear. I would recommend that if you are a hands on learner meaning you need to talk it through to understand it wont happen here. You'll have to do a lot of that on your own.

Mr. Mori is a very nice Professor. Help yourself and he'll do too. For Summer class we had a quiz every day. It was tough but if you keep up you'll get an A. The final was multiple choice so that was great. Definitely recommend this professor!

Mori is a great teacher. I took him for both math 115 and 125. I was horrible at math, or so I thought... If you come ready to learn he will teach you. Be prepared to come to every class and you will do fine. He is a really great teacher if you are willing to learn.
