a bit of a smart mouth so he gets in some funny arguments with students all the time, he is also funny in his own weird way, difficult to understand, low talker w/accent, take home quizes, only 2 tests/kind of hard everything in notes, don't need book, uses all 2 hrs of class, gives plenty of extra credit, do really good or really bad
RUN!!! AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!
I think the instructor was outstanding. He did a great job in really breaking down the material such that everyone would understand. Kudos to him
The instructor's enthusiastic approach to the subject helps energize the student.
Deep accent, somewhat hard to understand, a bit of a smart mouth but decent professor. Pretty much must go to class but still won't learn anything. no homework though
Very good professor. I like his method of teaching. If you don't like reading don't join.
I have him for the Winter Quater this class was an online retake since my last macro prof was not good. I was very surprised how much I ended up liking this class and this Professor was the reason. He saved my GPA... Lots of extra credit. Highly reccomended!
Easy A.. He really helped me a lot. teaching is very helpful and of good skills. Lots of wrk to help you pass the class.. I highly recommend him for anyone
I had him online and his questions were usually not found in the textbook. You had to read and re-read the book and then try to answer the questions based on your understanding of the concepts in the book. I struggled like crazy (and I'm a 4.0 student) but I met with him and he worked with me and I ended up making an A. It was the hardest A I ev
The teacher is pretty nice, but I would not suggest this as an online course. You will spend hours on your homework and reading the book will not help you at all. All the questions are metaphorical. If you cherish your GPA, be careful.
Initially i had a difficult time understanding him, but then i got use to it. This in general is just a REALLY hard class. However, if you study - you'll do fine. He is sooo funny, and we definitely have a good time in class. Plus he gives lots of extra credit that he adds to your test grade. you also get xcredit for attendence! id take him again!
For someone who wrote the book he teaches with he could have done a much better job. The homework didnt go with the text of the book at all. Then when he gave only one extra credit assignment he locked it and didnt give anyone the password. awful teacher i do not recommend ting his class.
Easy A. One of the best teachers I have had. Lots of examples to help student understand. Many free points. I will take him again.
very easy professor. Make sure to attend class! Will be taking him again.
Very poor communication. Would send emails, and not get responses. Poor organization. Often, lessons would not be posted until day before due date. Even for one exam, didn't post review until very late night before exam. There were errors in powerpoint presentations. Extra Credit opportunities were given, but locked so no access.
Ugh. Rough. He was hard to understand so sit up front because he tends to mumble as well. He rushed through until he got comfy in class 5 wks in then he tends to explain better. come to class, try to answer ?'s, read the book. If you do this you will get an a, but it won't be easy. Lots of reading and homework, but he's fair and kind and helps you.
This is the most unorganized, unprofessional teacher I have had. Seriously, forget talking to him or asking a question. You will not get a response in an online class.
If you pay attention in class and take notes you will do well. I struggled but I got an A.
This teacher is extremely hard to understand with his accent. But the material is even harder to understand. You NEED to have an understanding of the material BEFORE you look at the power points he has provided. The power points are too vague to help. Test are online, with 1 sheet of notes, but his tests cover 5+ chapters each
Run! Save yourself!! This is the worst designed online course on the planet. 4.0 student and STRUGGLED for B's due overly complicated tests, a complete absence of instruction(none), and exams that had information from chapters that were not even covered yet. This course is awful. Everyone was relieved for it to be over. Avg class grade was a 70.
The instructor uses real life examples in this class in addition to those in the book. It is awesome!
I learned a lot from this class. Initially I had doubts as I thought it would be boring. The instructor was funny most of the time. It was easy class because I kept up with reading and submitted my homework on time.
This instructor is pretty cool. As long as you read the book and come to class you be fine. Many extra credit opportunities. But if you miss classes you will miss them all. I am taking again in the fall.
I had this professor online and he always answered my emails promptly. It was challenging but it was not the most difficult course. Just submit your homework on time and do the extra credit. Make sure you keep up with reading, the home work questions are tricky so you should read. I made an A and maintained my 4.0.
This was a repeat class. This instructor is so good. Good explanations with diagrams that were hard to understand. If you attend class you be fine, you can take advantage of extra credit which is open book. He helped improve my GPA.
I got an A, but I worked for it. That said, it can be done if you read the material before you come to class, study, and work diligently. I would take him again. This isn't a class where you can wait until the last minute and just memorize the material - you have to understand it - and the professor gives you the opportunity and time to do so.
Microeconomics is not an easy class that you can just coast by on. It requires alot time for studying, reading, and doing homework assignments. Professor was great at explaining graphs and concepts. He provides study guides and extra credit but students must read and study on their own to grasp the material. I would recommend and take him again.
The extra credit helped. Go to class, because you never know when he would give extra credit work, you will understand the topics because he repeats the previous lecture. I am not into economics but this instructor made it interesting with the lectures. I am taken his macro in the spring.
I dropped his class he was hard to understand due to his accent his handwriting is so bad i cant read the notes he writes on the board. he has a powerpoint for notes but he does not use it and when i was writing down the notes he flipped back and forth so fast &often it is IMPOSSIBLE to take notes. conversations in class were ridiculously immature.
I did well in his class. I can't complain. He is funny. He makes the class lively. Just go to class and you will be alright.
You only need to work a little harder than other classes. Econ is not pretty simple, but he explains the questions in class and help you to understand. and the bonus points in class is awesome!
I liked it when he explains the graphs. Lots of graphs, you will be bored if you don't like graphs. he does his best to explain economics. I will take him again.
Online student. I was failing, I spent time with Professor went from a "D" to an "A" He cares and willing to help you.
Just spend some more time to do the homework and grade will improve. also don't miss too many class. this a retake and did good.
He assigns homework in the syllabus but never brings it up in class so READ YOUR SYLLABUS AND CHECK THE LESSON TAB. He gives a lot of extra credit but is constantly forgetting to put them in. He has a VERY thick accent. All of his tests are off the internet too so what he stresses isn't always whats on the tests.
Class was not easy, but if you do your homework you will be fine. Great teacher. Willing to help students.
Honestly, this teacher would point me out in class and deliberately make fun or pick on me. This was the worst class I have ever taken. He goes through the power points so quickly that you barely get to jot anything down. His explanations of things make 0 sense. BUT COME TO CLASS EVERYDAY IF YOU WANT TO PASS!!! Attendance is SOOO important.
If you want to learn economics this teacher is highly recommended. He cares about his students. I was confused the first week, but attending class helped improve my understanding of the course. if you think you gonna pass by just showing up, don't take him because you have to read all the assign chapters . best class, will take him again.
Was the first class I considered withdrawing from. I toughed it out, however, and was glad I did. If you have no interests in economics, reading the textbook is horrible. Tests were done in a computer lab while others were done at home. LET'S JUST SAY THE AT HOME TESTS SAVED MY GRADE. He also has about a 20 point grading criteria so 80-100 is an A.
Very odd assignments with little to do with Economics. I am very interested in a degree in Economics, but this class was so awful and the professor so unhelpful that I don't know if I want to do it anymore. This professor is the reason why. The homework and the textbook were simply incongruous, the two seemed to have nothing to do with each other.
Clear grading requirements, but not reachable outside class. Very hard to understand material, and this professor offers little assistance other than to suck it up and fail. Lots of homework unevenly spaced out, and this professor offers no help to struggling students. I had to withdraw because of it.
Too much work from a professor who could not possibly care less. Outright refuses to respond to email, even when students alert him that he didn't post an assignment. Threatens to fail students for ridiculous things, like leaving to go to the bathroom. Avoid this professor.
Best ever professor I had. He explains the material clearly. His grading scale is clear. I have never been a lazy student so this class is good for. it tough, but you learn a lot If you think just showing up means passing then don't take this class. he is cool professor. I am taking His Microeconomics in the fall.
Interesting class. You learn a lot about the economy and the world. He answers every question, he is very funny and can make you laugh. Do the homework, go to class, you are going to pass.
This class is not bad as long as you're willing to put in the work. It is not an easy A, you must read the book, do all the homeworks and go to class to make the grade you want. He can make you not want to ask questions because he makes you feel dumb but he will still answer the question so don't be afraid to ask.
If you stick around and do the homework without missing many classes, you will be fine. If you are looking for an easy A, then not economics. Do the reading and the homework and take advantage of extra credits
I took this class as a transient student and made an A. I learnt a lot from this class. Some of the topics are challenging but he is very clear on what is on the homework and tests. If you focus, you will get a good grade.
I took Yeboah, and I'd say he's a decent professor. Do NOT let him catch you on your phone/laptop during class or he may kick you out. His accent is a bit hard to understand sometimes, and his writing is just about chicken scratch. But, I passed his class!
Not very good at explaining things in class. Makes things a little difficult to understand, but can be funny and make class bearable. Also you may not be doing well throughout the semester but he gives a lot of extra credit point for attendance at the end of the semester. Also do all of the extra credit that he offers it will definitely help.
This was the worst class I have ever taken. The professor has a history of threatening other students as said in majority of his reviews. I am never taking this guy again because he's the most disrespectful teacher I have ever had. If you miss 1 or 2 classes because you're sick it will be counted against you. AVOID THIS PROFESSOR
Gives extra credit for attendance but his accent makes it hard to understand him. You gotta read the materials thoroughly to get an A. He WILL kick you out of the class if you use any laptops or phones during the class.
no textbook; online only. material was vague and nothing from the tests seemed to come out of the online book. Wants you to watch lots of videos and most are hard to follow. His tests are long. Over 100 questions on all 3 and and 2 hours to complete and I didn't feel that anything I studied helped me pass the test
If you're looking to actually learn something about economics don't take him. He has a thick accent that is difficult to understand. He does try to make up for it with a take home test at the end as well as extra credit
Best professor! Take time and your homework. Homework questions on the test. test is easy. Easy A with bonus points
I had a good time taking this class. I will take him again for the macroeconomics. I did all the home on time and got an A.
He seems very tough and rude at first but he turned it to really care. He let me access the final whenever I wanted bc i had a medical emergency at home. He gave lots of extra credit for not skipping class or telling him why you weren't in class. If you have to miss class get notes from someone and do lots of reading!
There seems to be a serious language barrier in Yeboah's classes. He explains things in the most confusing way possible and frequently contradicts himself. Doesn't post important dates online, which I guess is fine if you tell us about them far in advance, but he doesn't. Save yourself a lot of time and energy, don't take his class.
Best professor I had at Chat Tech. He cares about his students. I am Accounting major, and this was an easy class for me. Those complaining did nor want to do the homework. If you do the homework by yourself you will pass this class easily because similar questions are on the test. This was an easy class!
Economics is hard but He knows his stuff! Gives extra credit, does review before every test. Quizzes are not timed. I made an A, I thought I was going to well.
He helped me after class with homework questions. He is helpful and nice if you are a serious student.
A very thick accent that would make it difficult for any student to understand a already difficult subject. His lectures are difficult to understand and unorganized but you must go to class because if you have perfect attendance he will give you 30 points extra credit which will be your lifesaver for this class.
Macro online. I loved that he was hands off! Post due dates online of 8 homework assignments and what chapters by weekly folders, and about 5 tests, no stupid fluff busy work. Many test questions are exactly the same questions from the assignments so print those out! Assignments very spaced out. Loved the simplicity of his course.
Can't understand a word he says. Can't read his hand writing.
Excellent teacher. He makes economics simple.
He come back to explain homework questions. In class bonus points were great. I did the homework, never skipped a class, and made an easy 'A'.
I Would not recommend. He responds to emails in 5-6 word responses, and it extremely vague when answering questions over email. For someone who runs an online course where email is the main source of communication, you would think he would respond well to his students over email. His tests are all 100+ questions and timed for 2 hours usually.
Class was lively and entertaining. I submitted all the homework assignments, read the book, and passed. Though not an easy course, you can easily pass by doing the homework. I will take him again. He tells you what you need to do to pass the class.
Great teacher. He tells you what you need to do to be successful. Questions on homework somewhat similar to questions on exams. if you do all the assignments you will pass with ease. Plus extra credit!
Easy class to pass. You can work ahead if you want to, and there really aren't many assignments. A "quiz" each week. You get the questions before taking the actual quiz. 3 exams, typically around 100 questions. No need to buy the launchpad or the book if you're okay with learning from the power points/ google.
I can't complain. This was a repeat class. And I passed. Good teacher.
DO NOT TAKE. He takes forever to respond to emails. He doesnt care if you pass nor help you pass. I took him online so it just put me further in muddy water with him.
You have a homework assignment almost every week. 3 exams in total. He's funny but his accent makes it hard to understand him sometimes. With perfect attendance, you'll get 30 bonus points on your final grade, you'll need it. Take this class with a friend, it makes it easier. However, if teaching yourself is easy, take his online class.
He cares about his students. He will take time t help you if you ask for help. I had him for Econ 1101 and Macro. He is a very good teacher, if you do the work you will easily pass. Plus he tells you what will be on the test.
Sets the tone the first day of class but don't be intimidated. He skimms through the powerpoints, so READ THE BOOK it helps! The assignments totaled to 8 homeworks and 3 tests. The tests are very lengthy each test is around 100 questions. For perfect attendance he gives 30 extra credit points. Overall he is a good professor. Tough but fair.
3 exams in total and around 8 homework assignments. His accent makes things a little difficult to understand but he's a funny and fair guy. So many extra credit opportunities, do them if you don't you won't pass. Overall, not bad but take the class with a friend, it makes the work 10 times easier.
I was able to learn because he does pretty well during class discussions but you do have to at least TRY and understand as well as read SOME of the textbook or watch a few of the youtube videos that he puts in the folders. Everything is online. He's really funny once he warms up to the class.
Great teacher. His class is lively. You won't fall asleep in class, even if you want to sleep you can't. It was my second economics class and enjoyed it. If you go to class you will be more than fine. Easy A.
Although economics is difficult, he helped a lot by answering all questions. He encouraged students to ask questions. Lively class
So first day of school rolls around, I walk into class and sit down. He walks in and oh my... I had a mental breakdown. So, i dropped the class.
He cares about his students. He stayed after class to answer all my questions. If you want to learn about Econ take him.
Only three tests and a homework every other week. Plus he allows cheat sheet on the exams. I did the homework with other students in my class.
most unprofessional teacher i've ever had. makes asking any type of question so intimidating and not helpful
All the exam questions from the homework. Best econ teacher. Extra credit to make you pass.
He's on my small list of best teachers I've ever had. He was quiet at first, but opened up relatively quickly, and was very engaging and entertaining. I realized that reading the book after he teaches the chapter is VERY beneficial as it went deeper into concepts and solidified what he introduced in class. Great guy.
He makes his lectures very interesting by joking. Don't use cell phone in his class. He gives lots of extra credit that helps a lot especially if you are not doing well.
you are tested on concepts that are taught in the following week. how am i supposed to pass a test on things i haven't learned yet? i am not a mind reader. this is the hardest class i have ever taken. i would never take another class from this professor again.
He does a good job explaining things to student. Go to class you will be fine.
worst teacher i have ever had. each test is 80-90 questions so if you have a class right after his, be prepared to either fail that class or his class because its impossible to finish the test within the class time. he gets mad and gets an attitude with you if you ask any questions about the homework or if you ask him to explain what he is doing.
Great teacher! If you want to do well in economics, I recommend him. He has time to explain to you anything you don't understand . Some people don't like economics and they don't want to put in extra work. if you attend class you will be fine. It was easy A for me.
Barley speaks English. Can be hilarious to watch him try to explain concepts in English but at the end of the day you don't learn much. Very unprofessional but quality entertainment. Make sure you go to every class so you receive extra credit on tests!
He cares about students and would spent extra time after class explaining to students.
During the whole Covid-19 stuff he did not make an effort at all to try and teach us. He only emailed us when our tests were. He really doesnt care about your grade. I considered myself a smart person until this class and this completely changed it.
I enjoyed taking Professor Yeboah's Microeconomics class. Solid, helpful lectures, interesting examples that helped me learn the material. Overall, a challenging course, so those who didn't pay attention in lecture or try to do well did terrible on the 3, NON-CUMULATIVE, tests. If you don't study for the tests extensively, expect to fail them.
Horrible! He does not teach! He expects you to know everything on the first time. He is very hard to understand and has a no tolerance policy for phones and will kick you out for responding to a text. I swear if you answer a question wrong he makes you feel like the stupidest person in the world. DO NOT TAKE! Avoid if at all possible!
During the covid-19 switch to online, there was barely any communication until the last minute before tests. He barely communicated with my class on a lot of matters, such as the ability to use notes on a test and extra credit opportunities. There is a strict policy against any form of technology in his classroom. I do not recommend!
He is very confusing to listen to. He makes the due dates outrageous, he says he give you an hour and 15 minutes but once you go over the time allotted it says another 45 minutes, I didnt know that so I rushed to finish and heard that it gave another 45 minutes.
This class gave me so much anxiety! He skips 90% of the powerpoints. Spends the most time on irrelevant videos and news. Spends the least time of topics we actually need to cover. He gets mad when you ask questions. I can't understand him most of the time. Our exam 90% of the class failed. 0/10. I thought I was smart until this class. I WAS WRONG!
I got a B- but more than half the students in my class didn't pass, he skips 95% of the powerpoints. Worst teacher I've had so far. If you don't test well, you will fail. Nobody knows what he's talking about. ever.
Worst teacher Ive ever taken. I do NOT recommend him. Does not explain things well. if you have a question he will ignore you or get mad at you for asking. During the COVID-19 situation, he took forever to contact his students. Decided to start teaching online , a week before the semester ended. Did not stick to regular class time.
Excellent instructor. The best I have had at Chattahoochee. Promptly responded to my emails. Extra credit helps. I will take him again.
As an engineering student this was one of my easy "A" classes. The instructor is knowledgeable and he has time after class if you don't understand anything. He is highly recommended if you want to learn some economics.
I took his Principles of Economics course this spring and I would say that he is a good teacher. You only need to be an average student to get an "A" in this class. This teacher helped me understand what is the book. The homeworks are good for the exams. By the way only three exams.
Economics is generally a hard course. But if you go to class and take notes, you will pass. Initially I was worried whether I would do well in this class. But the instructor was very helpful in explaining stuff in class. I recommend him if you are a serious student.
Bit of an unusual professor. He has a deep accent, but I didn't find it too hard to understand. He tends to have preconceptions that most students don't care or that "young peopled don't know anything". BUT, if you prove him wrong by showing actual interest in the class, he will open up and become a lot more interesting. Don't use phone in class.
Great professor! His explanation is very helpful in understanding all the charts. Don't miss a class because the more you go to class the more you understand. He makes economics easy to understand.
I took this class online, and the powerpoints he provides to learn the information off of are difficult to understand. No quizzes the only grades are homework, and 3 tests. He is alright with responding to emails, and is a nice guy. I asked for some extra credit to help with my grade and was told to watch the videos he provides.
DO NOT TAKE THIS GUY. He is uncaring and does not want to help you. Gives out extra credit assignments and doesnt even grade them or put them into the grade book before final grades are due. His accent makes it very hard to understand so, if you take him be prepared to learn on your own and struggle.
I recommend him if you want to take Economics at Chatt Tech. He cares about his student. If you are not lazy and you are willing to learn economics, you will enjoy the class. He is one of the few professors that I will recommend. It was a very good class for me and others in the class. Some students who complain don't want to put in any effort.
I never missed a class. In the end everything worked out just fine. I will take his microeconomics class in the fall. If you go to class regularly, you will be fine with this professor because he tells you exactly what is going to be on the test. Those who are whine are the unmotivated and those who don't want to to do the homework.
It is not difficult passing this class. Test questions are similar to the homework questions. He tells you the topics that will be on the test. He gives solid examples of the application of concepts. Any serious student can easily pass the class. This is a repeat class for me and I made an "A". Those who complain don't want to work for their grades
No matter how badly you think you need this class, find another teacher. He is rude, unresponsive, disrespectful, and generally treats students like he is annoyed or burdened by them. His lectures are unclear at best, & he doesn't explain homework or give you test feedback. I ended up paying for online tutors in order to pass. Worst. Teacher. Ever.
He was very helpful in explaining the homework assignments. The exams questions were similar to the homework. Very good instructor. I wasn't interested in economics before taking this class but now I like economics because he applied what is in the book to what is going on in the world. I logged on and listen to the lecture, and it was exciting.
He's very detached, hard to understand, and ridicules students if they answer questions wrong. He's very hands-off with the online class, but, due to COVID, his in-person lectures went online. He's extremely harsh, expects students to be perfect prodigies of economics, and offers little help to anyone struggling. Avoid him!
He is by far, the best instructor I have had at Chat Tech. He is very caring and takes his time to explain economics. If you do the homework you will be fine on the tests. The lazy ones complain a lot. compared to my math class, this was an easy class. You only have three tests where questions are similar to the homework questions.
He explains things poorly, moves too fast, and doesn't answer questions. If you send him an email he probably won't respond. Tests are weighed very heavily in your overall grade and he doesn't give study guides. Avoid at all costs.
He is among the best professors I ever had. He works so many examples in the classroom and tells you what is going to be on the test. Do the homework and the practice tests . Even even if you don't like economics, you can do very well in his class.
If I could give him a negative rating I would. He will never respond to emails and says you can go back into the quizzes, but reality you cant. Dont take his online class
He cares about his students and went over the questions on the quizzes whenever I asked. He is highly recommended.
I'd rather run myself over with a semi-truck than take this class again. I don't understand how one can take detailed notes every class, and spend multiple hours on each homework, and still fail every single assignment. Yeboah is a good guy who values teaching but I just don't think he knows how to teach a hybrid (online and in-person class) yet.
It's a good choice to take this professor. Easy A if you study, do the assignments, and if you understand the materials well. Nothing special, nothing bad, just an average class.
The quizzes/homeworks are not timed. He gives you weeks to submit homeworks. He gives extra credit to boost your grade. He explained the homework question so when you take the test you are ready to go. It was interesting studying economics, I learnt a lot from this professor.
Don't be Lazy, Go to class, Do the Homework, Get an Extra Credit, Get an easy A. That was my experience.
I think this is a very easy class,; the teacher is very flexible and makes many jokes. This helps considering the subject. I would recommend this teacher.
DONT TAKE HIS CLASS IF YOU DONT LIKE TO READ
Took his online class. Does not reply to emails. Posts HW late. Grades on 3 tests and 8 HW assignments ONLY. Tests are like HW, but you have to know what you're doing on the HW to pass tests. Does give SOME extra credit. Very hands-off type of prof. Read the textbook and watch the basic videos and you might do well. Would recommend another prof.
He is a very good instructor and cares about his students. With homework, he explains everything to you, plus you can find the answers. I will take him again. I will recommend him if you want to study economics.
He is strict about using your phone, bad at communication outside of class, and his tests are difficult compared to the homework. After I took the final my grade was somewhere around an 83-84 and due to his grading scale I was semi-close to an A, I sent an email begging for extra credit and never heard back. Looked in the gradebook and saw an A!!!
HORRIBLE. Avoid him at all costs. Your GPA will suffer. He does Collaborate meetings on Mon & Thu at 5pm to review the homework. If you're busy at that time, good luck. He WILL NOT record the sessions. I asked. He refused. Homework is based FUTURE chapters, not chapters currently assigned. Get ready to be graded on things you havent learned yet.
I was able to do the quizzes at my own pace because you get the questions way ahead of the due date. He has notes on the chapters which are helpful. If you take advantage of extra credit, you will get a good grade.
Read, read, read, read!!! Skipping the reading will not help you out. There weren't a lot of tests and the homework wasn't little, but it wasn't a lot. He does have sessions for people who have questions about the homework, so attend those! Tutoring sessions will help you tremendously, so going to the sessions are highly recommended.
He is the worst teacher at Chatt Tech. DO NOT take him if you want to pass!
Cannot teach at all.
doesn't respond to emails and tests are impossible to pass because he does not teach.
Grades are only based on tests and homework assignments!
If I could rate him a zero I would. If there is a professor to avoid, avoid Yeboah.
If I could rate him a negative rating I definitely would with no hesitation. Such a disorganized teacher. It's so confusing to know what you have to do for the week because he does not communicate with his students. His syllabus also doesn't match according to schedule. Homework assignments are thrown in random week's folders makes things confusing
He does not respond to emails so it is impossible to get help or keep in touch.
He's the only professor that I ever dropped. Really difficult to understand and needlessly snappy and disrespectful to his students. I was completely confused and uncomfortable when taking his class. Ended up getting an A under another professor the following semester. Please avoid taking his classes.
Not a good professor at all. I email him constantly asking questions and he fails to respond. His tests and homework assignments are difficult. I had a 4.0 GPA before taking this professor and plan on dropping his class to take a better professor. Avoid this professor at all costs unless you want to ruin your GPA. P.S grade is based on mostly tests
While not the most easy class, it is easy to get an A in this class. Only 8 homework assignments and 3 exams plus lots of extra credit. I was more than ok because I studied. Not the hardest class at all. Plus the professor was kind. I will take him again for micro.
he give "Practice Test" before Exam 1 so if you are not lazy and you did you will see similar questions on the exam.
Professor was very unorganized with posting the assignments towards the end of the semester and even in the beginning he gave no instructions. His PowerPoints consisted of copied and pasted textbook information as well as screenshots. For the most part I taught myself the class through the internet and little help from the book. Wouldnt take again
He is very fair in his grading and gives you enough materials to pass with good grade. However, if you are the lazy type and does not want to work for your grade, then don't stay away because I don't think it is show-up and get a grade type of class.
If you don't show up for class, you won't pass. His lectures are funny and he wants you to learn. He is a good teacher if you like to participate and attend class.
This professor does not teach whatsoever and does not reply kindly to student emails or general questions. You will have to "learn" from middle school level power points and hope you do well on his tests. I highly recommend taking any other economics professor, he will not help you, he will not care.
If you put in the effort , you will be fine. He gives extra credit and grades on a curve. All the test questions are based on the homework assignments. Spend time to work through the homework problems and you will find that economics is not all that difficult.
Be ready to work on your own. Repetition is non-existent. good luck
If you take your time and work through the homework assignments, you will be fine. Just make sure to remember when each assignment is due. He also gives extra credit. It's not show up and pass class. If you work a little bit, you will get a good grade.
Yeboah provides PPT, textbook, and video resources to complete weekly HW assignments. Be prepared to read A LOT. He offered online sessions to ask questions regarding the HW before it was due. The exams consisted of many questions from the HW, be able to do math questions because there tended to be a good chunk of them on the exams. Decent class.
Professor Yeboah was a good teacher overall. He answered emails almost immediately and gave out help to those who needed it. Although, there are many powerpoints to read and videos to watch. Homework assignments are fairly okay, and tests were similar to homework assignments. Class is easy if you are on top of it.
Took his class last semester. He takes forever to respond to emails and is very rude. If you have never taken an econ class before do not suggest taking this class. You're basically learning on your own and there is a lot of reading. He has homework due every week and his exams were hard. Also exams were allowed to be taken at home
I would not recommend this professor. Although, he is nice, he taught very seriously. This class consists of a lot of math, so be prepared.
While not the most organized professor, he was very clear when giving lectures and his notes were extremely useful. He was always available to answer questions after class and seemed to care about our grades. Extra credit assignments were easy and helped my grade a lot. The tests are pretty hard, so you may want to use the textbook provided.
Do not take a class with this Instructor! He only allows one attempt on homework, which is extremely difficult. The homework may or may not even correlate with the chapters covered. His syllabus, due dates, and chapters do not even match. I have taught myself the entire class due to the fact that I can't understand his HEAVY accent. AVOID YEBOAH.
Very hard class, do the homework assignments and attend his help sessions. He gives extra credit, which is extremely helpful. There are power points, websites, YouTube videos, and an online book. Lots of math, so be prepared for that, and be mindful of your time during tests. I enjoyed taking his class and would recommend this professor.
Worst professor ever. I have no idea how he has a 4.1 rating. Never responds to emails and gives assignments that are not in modules. Terrible PowerPoints and is very rude. Please for the love of Jesus do not take his class.
The guy teaching this class is a joke. He does not return calls or emails, and issues work assignments that are not in the module. How are the students supposed to get their work done when the professor does not do his job? Somebody please wake up Michael Yeboah and ask him to post the assignments that are due!! Avoid this joker at all cost!!!
Let me summarize by saying, do NOT register for his class if you can avoid it. I was too late, so I took his class. Never again. The homework was absolutely insane and on top of that, the grading was confusing. There was an essay due and I had to email him (horrible responding time too) because he never gave us instructions on what to write about.
the literal worst teacher I have ever...ever had Bruh. look, I never leave reviews on anything, never ever look into this type of stuff, some people probably had a better experience. don't get me wrong he gives you A GREAT amount of time to get stuff done or to at least study for, but his due dates and his organizations is the worst, and he is rude
Yeboah's class is no walk in the park - lots of math and tough homework. But with Unstuck ai and the textbook, you can get through it. Attend his help sessions and use the extra credit to boost your grade.
I created an account just to leave a review for how this was actually the worst teacher I've ever had. Insanely disrespectful, difficult, annoying, and just flat out a bad teacher. I'm certainly biased because of the headaches and horrible experience I have had with this class, but be warned this could be you too. Do not take his in person class.
This teacher was fine but he's too lazy to put anything on the calendar causing a lot of people to miss homework or tests with no grace or make ups on tests. I missed exam 2 because like most people i'm wired to check the calendar dropping me 3 whole letter grades. He grades on a point system out of 500 and each of the 3 exams are worth 100 each.
NO PHONES/LAPTOPS IN CLASS. All tests are in person, and homework is LONG. He's an ok teacher but hard to understand. Left class with more questions than answers every time. A slow email responder. Kinda disrespectful to his students and will call you out if he thinks you don't value him or his lessons. For my disabled people, DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS
Absolutely avoid him at all costs. Has a heavy accent and gives not much opportunity to improve your grade, with only giving 8 home works and 3 exams. He is rude and absolutely hates technology. Never recommend.
When I'm telling you sprint, dash, do a whole 180 if you can , DO NOT TAKE THIS MANS CLASS! He doesn't answer emails and to be honest you're teaching yourself. For some reason he removes assignments from the grade book so you cant even have an accurate idea of what your grade is. The due dates aren't t accurate he changes it up last minute.
A pretty tough class in terms of homework and resets. Make sure you attend class and ask for credit
Great professor, very challenging
Great professor, very challenging. The homework assignments and tests are challenging, but, honestly, it is typical college work.I just attended class, kept up with the work, read over class notes, and did fine.
This is a challenging economics course, but the instructor makes it rewarding. Exams and problem sets are tough, so staying on top of homework and reviewing lectures is essential. She explains concepts clearly, provides helpful examples, and is approachable for questions. Hard work pays off, and if you put in the effort, you can do very well.
The class is very manageable if you keep up with the homework and go to class. A comprehensive final. The teacher is very approachable and responsive. So I highly recommend for. Econ!
Honestly, he's one of the better Economics professors. It's a lot of reading but just keep up with the work.
Yes, also be prepared a lot of homework in this class but he is still one of the better Economics professors. Take good notes too
Be prepared for a lot of homework in this class but he is still one of the better Economics professors. Take good notes too
The professor is very knowledgeable about economics. Email response time is not very fast but within reason. He uses plenty of examples to help you understand and . lays out expectations clearly in the syllabus. So make sure you attend class. He also assigns a lot of homework that gives you an idea of what to expect on tests.
I recommend this professor because any bad grades were my own fault. The homework I didn't take seriously. Attendance is required but I rarely went. The class is challenging but just keep up with the work.
