Makes math enjoyable

He is the best math teacher that I have had in all of my schooling from elementary to college. He explains the material very well. I am a non-traditional student and he made it very easy for me. I received an A in his class.

An honest Professor that taught you everything you needed to know in a way everyone could understand. Unlike some.... he KNOWS what he's talking about and doesn't need to teach from a piece of paper.

He make the process of learning math fun! I really enjoy his teaching style and enthusiasm over his topic. His "private conversations" and car/hot-air balloon examples allowed for easy swallowing of concepts and a deeper understanding of Stats.

Don't be afraid of his survey of math class, even if you hate math. It's a straight forward class and when I took this class he didn't expect you to hand in homework. Wish high school was like that.

There was nothing I didn't enjoy about his class. He made math interesting. He explained concepts thoroughly and presented the material in a way that I could understand. I never wanted to miss a class. I recommend him to anyone who is apprehensive about taking a math class.

I took Calc with Zwick a few times (yes a few), and he was a great teacher. Always went the extra mile to help his students.

I took calculus 1 with him. Makes everything very clear and understandable. Homework load was tolerable and applied to all the tests. Great guy, just dont get on his bad side. If you are scared of taking calculus take him.

This is the best teacher I've ever had! He made Calculus easy and I liked class so much I didn't miss one. DO NOT TAKE ANYONE ELSE IF YOU WANT TO LEARN CALCULUS. He is the best.

He was very VERY cool. He didn't check homework, so I never really did it. Thats the only reason I got a D. I know I would've gotten an A if I tried.

He is an amazing teacher, everybody in our class like his and likes to joke around which makes life easier in that class. Very nice guy and a great outgoing attitude

This professor is the best I ever had. He really enjoys his job and will make it fun for the class. His exams are esay...but you must keep up with your work (which is not too hard). I really enjoyed this class and will continue with this professor in calc 2._

Mr. Zwick's great. He may come off as being a mean guy, but he's got a heart of gold. His classes can be a bit exasperating if you are a dedicated student, as he has issues controlling the troublemakers, but he is skilled in what he teaches.

So far he is by the best teacher ive ever had. He makes class fun rather than just coming in and teaching. If you have a chance to get him, definately take advantage of it.

Definitely one of the best professors I've had. Does notes on the board, goes over material enough that the class understands it but not so much that it becomes redundant. Usually nice, though he can be kind of funny about people joking around with him, even though he jokes around a lot himself. Engaging and makes material interesting.

I am now 34 years old returning to college in NC. I attended MCC over ten years ago and the only professor that I remember was Mr. Zwick. Professors just don't get any better than that! He's definately one of the best!

Zwick is the man. He makes the most boring subject in the world actually interesting. Highly recommended professor.

Mr. Zwick is consistent and expectations are met, he will let you know what to expect on exams and helpful in preparing for the final. He teaches in a way that is thorough and easy to understand. He is very funn, you'll have a blast in his class. He's also a good man. It was an honor to have him as a teacher.

awesome teacher, he keeps everyone interested and cares if you understand the material or not, as long as you go to class and pay attention you will be fine, homework isn't a must, but if you are not good in math you should do it. He gives practice take home tests and the test in class is the same but diff numbers!! very funny! you will like him!!

AMAZING TEACHER! Best teacher I've ever had in math. Not only does he know what he's talking about, he's hilarious at the same time! I will definitely be taking Calc II with him next semester. If you pay attention in class, don't fall asleep, take notes, and try to learn, he will show you his knowledge and help you understand as best as you can.

Prof Zwick is the kind of teacher you want for math. Very knowledgeable, helpful, interesting. I loved going to MATH class

I hold a previous bachelor's degree and this is the best professor I have ever had! A man who doesn't take life too seriously. Actually cares about his students and makes learning fun, all the time you are laughing. If you do the practice exams he gives out you will get an A on the exam, I promise! I will be taking calc. with him!

This teacher showed me how fun math can be! Even if you don't like math and never will, he makes it easy to understand the problems. Plus he's so funny! Take this professor!

Professor Zwick's lectures are invigorating! I'm sure he could teach any subject and make it great. He presents a workman's approach to calculus; only a few proofs, and then at every step in solving a problem he gives you insight into the thinking that lead you there, so he makes his years of experience yours! This teacher is the best math teacher that I have ever had. He talks to you as if you are an intellectual adult. His teaching style is flawless. I actually was a failing math student in High School...not anymore. I have aced every test he gave. Watch out for his early dismissal tricks. haha. Ooh! Ooh!...hahaha

GREATEST MATH PROFESSOR EVER! calc 2 is supposed to be the hardest of the calcs but he made is easy and understandable. Jokes around and makes class fun but you learn all at the same time. Always there to help you and if you can take every math class possible with him!

I took calc II over the summer. He made the class interesting and it was a breeze. Nevertheless calc II is hard in general so be prepared to do a LOT of practice questions if you want to do good in class. I think he is the best calc professor out there! if you have a chance get him!!!

I took this class before with other teachers but he is by far the most helpful. He's great I would recommend him to all.he is not hard plus he has a wonderful teaching method

Professor Zwick is a wonderful person! I wish I had him for other classes in the past. It seems he is getting grumpy as he nears retirement, however that does not change my overall impression of him. Very fun! Extremely clear lecture. Wonderful testing strategy. I would and have recommend him to any student.

Sitting in class with him right now on the first day. He was a little long winded on college mandated statements, rightfully so, but an easy to understand and follow professor. I like him.

AMAZING. My mom had his class, and now I have had him for Mth 104 & 165. I HATE algebra and never thought anyone could make that class so interesting I wish I had a prof. like him for all of my classes. Not only is he a great prof. & knows what he is talking about but he is a great person and you should be honored to be able to be in his class!!!!

Was a very interesting professor to listen to and was able to keep student focus. He is one of the best teachers I've ever had in math. He wont make the class easy for you but there's no reason anyone can't do well in his class. I would highly recommend him if you can get him.

Yes Prof Zwick is a funny, but he doesn't give step-by-step processes to help solve hard equations, and the tests look nothing like the examples he gives in class and the final is like a bomb in your face. I'm taking precalc now and reviewing everything from his class and actually understand it now. do not recommend if you really struggle with math

I love zwick's class he is such a sweet person probably one of the nicest person i ever met in my life. he is very funny and i enjoy being in his class. he is truly a very happy person, he loves life as well as his self ms. Bev(his wife) and his students.

BEST TEACHER EVER! Never checks homework and every test we took was either take home or he gave us a sheet to study from and the test was the exact same questions from the study sheet, even for the final! If he ever comes back take him. He's sarcastic but a great guy!!

Amazing teacher! My 2nd fav teacher besides prof striebich. Gave a lot of examples for notes, study guides for tests that had the same problems on the test! Gave example problems that would be on the final. Fair, hilarious, nice, easy. I have no idea how so many people in my class were failing.

Really a great professor! He was exceptional at explaining math and concepts of the course. About 1/2 of 175 is review of 165 but Zwick was actually able to explain a lot of the things that my prior math teacher said "it just because that's how you do it." Would definitely take him again and again!

Lectures are worth going to and he keeps you entertained. Can be very unclear at times.

Zwick is a great teacher and so far my favorite math teacher. he does examples in class to show you how to do problems, but you have to take your own time to practice the material with the suggested problems he gives you otherwise this class will be disastrous. If you are struggling or don't understand he will try his best to clarify. Great Profs!

Great teacher! Got a C last year. Took it at school with Zwick and got an A. The hw is not graded or handed in. I strongly suggest taking serious notes in class. There was a lot of work on the final which we never went over in class. However, I studied the final review packet in depth and aced the final! Zwick and Kilner are the best.

Prof. Zwick was one of my favorite professor's at MCC. I found his lectures to be entertaining and helpful. As long as you take good notes during the lectures you will do well on the tests. I would recommend him to anyone who needs to take MTH 165.

Professor Zwick teaches with such clarity, he could teach calc to a fifth grade student.

This guy! He cares about his students and made me feel respected, something I find lacking in many professors. He has methods of shocking your system randomly with shouts or odd questions about saying things in spanish. Very entertaining and will attempt to take calc 2 with him if possible.

Will go above and beyond to make sure you understand. Genuinely a good person who wants his students to do well.
