I love her!! She's an awesome teacher! Willing to work with you. There are a couple of essays but if you try, you shouldn't have ANY problems and pass with an A!

She is great. There should be no reason why you couldn't pass her class. She's willing to help and gives you so many opportunities to up your grade. Beware...know how to use your commas!

She is a magnificent teacher. She is a really cool and nice and very down to earth teacher. She is very easy, and you can easily get an A in that class. If i would of known how she is when I took Eng 101, I would of have had taken her for Eng 101. But overall, I would definitely recomend her to anyone who wants to be in a nice and easy class.

I am in this class currently online, and I find that as long as you follow the directions it's easy to get an A. This class teaches a lot about citing correctly, which was helpful to me.

Having her as a teacher really made the class enjoyable. She is always full of energy. If you do the work then you will end up with a good grade. Overall, she is a great teacher.

I took her online class. It was very easy as long as you do your discussion on time. I have never gotten an A in english before, but i did in college? lol. She answers emails quickly and is very helpful when you have questions. Very nice and the online class was enjoyable and interesting

I took both English 101 and 102 online with Roman and they were both extremely easy. You have to write a lot of papers, but they are spanned out throughout the whole semester and you have plenty of time to work on them. She is a fairly easy grader too! Overall great teacher!

I took her online ENG 101 class and it was super easy! She gave a short assignment every week that you had to post on the discussion board and then respond to others. Her course only had 3 papers and they were spaced out over the semester. I would definitely recommend her! Especially if you do not want to sit in an English class for 90 minutes.

She gave you a sample of each assignment, and made it clear of what you are supposed to write.It is easy to follow her class.

Took eng 101 online. It was pretty easy and had interesting topics. Not too many papers. Class was easy to follow. Teacher is great!

An English teacher who's also a "comma Nazi"? Shocking! I liked Michel very much. She lets you know what she expects from you; if you follow her lead (as you should, being a student and all), you will do well. I took this class in three weeks, and Michel made everything very clear as far as expectations are concerned. Great teacher.

Michele was both helpful and insightful when it came to writing papers. She is crazy about commas and the only real complaint I have is it seems everyone tends to fail her comma final, it should be revised. Her class was easy and fair, my C grade is completely my fault.

Good teacher, took her for both ENG 101 and ENG 102. For ENG 102 we rarely used are text book, but that was because it wasn't necessary. Do wish that we would have spent more practicing the overall research paper. Really fast pace class, but could not imagine taking this class any other way.

She was very fun and engaging. I enjoyed her class a lot. I feel like I learned a bunch as well.

I took her for Online English 102. Decent class and she seemed pretty nice. Class started out boring because of the Textbook assignment, but got better over time. The only problem with the class is that there are not a lot of points so even the little 2 point assignments will hurt your grade. So make sure you do those and you will get a good grade!

Professor Román is the best teacher ever! She is hilarious and makes the class very fun. I took her for the combo course ENG101-102. The papers are clearly laid out for you and she offers rewrites. Only difficult thing was the comma final at the end of 101, but if you study and know the rules, you will be fine! Definitely recommend take her!

This was my first online class and Professor Roman made it a great experience. The syllabus is clearly laid out and she has all information for the assignments open so you can work ahead if you want. Readings aren't horrible but every point counts so make sure you complete discussions posts.

Teacher is easy-going and likeable. However, I would like to point out the fact that if you don't do the H.W. than you are better off dropping the class. For this reason, participation and the willingness to speak up when you have a question is key. Nonetheless, would take the class again: even more so with the same group of people!

I took her for English 101 and English 102. The course is clearly laid out with examples, handouts, and anything else you need for the course. You can work ahead and if you ask for help, she will help you. I met up with her in her office and she was really nice. Those who fail must be doing something wrong and need to confess.

Michel is very fun and full of energy. She's very strict when it comes to commas, but otherwise a very easy professor. There's a lot of reading and busy work, but what do you expect from an English 101 class? Definitely would recommend.

The assignments are very spread out, and there are not a lot of points to the class, so make sure you do well from the start. I got an 100 on nearly everything by just making sure to meet the expectations outlined on the rubrics. Pretty easy even though the research paper is a lot of work. You HAVE to have 10 pages and 3,000 words or you won't pass

Roman is a great instructor. The course is outlined as soon as you begin and you can work ahead. The readings are interesting. Be real with her and she will help you. She responds which is while expected not all prof. do. There is work to do but it is all manageable, just don't wait for the last minute. TAKE HER CLASSES! I wish she taught more.

Online class is forward and direct. It is easy to follow and readings were fun. The online discussions were interesting and I ENJOYED them. If you are looking for a good class then take her.

Just wrapped up the online class and it was manageable in the summer. The class is straight forward and I didn't have any problems. The prof. gives student samples and lets you rewrite if you are way off. I even had a trip in between and just worked ahead. Never missed a beat and would take this course again especially in the summer.

I took this classes over summer as an online. She is a very lenient grader. If you do all that is asked you should have no issue getting an A. Prepared to read a lot of left-wing articles.

Taking this class online currently. She is a very nice lenient teacher. As long as you keep up with your assignments, you should get a decent grade. Lots of political topics discussed. She gives good feedback.

Love this online class. The discussion were so rewarding and eye opening. The readings are current and not boring at all. She is so nice and provides a lot of feedback and someone who is on top of class. Going to take her for 102 online .

If you are taking this class then you should expect there to be a lot of work (papers). Prof Roman was hilarious. She gave plenty of class time to work on papers and assignments. She only requires you be there because it is accelerated. Because of this class, I learned how to write good papers and essays in just 20 minutes to an hour

She is a very good professor. She also funny. Be expected to write a lot of essays in her class. Late work is not accepted. Show up and do the work and you will pass. I recommend her if you want the 101 and 102 credit courses in one semester.

I took English 101 and 102 online with Roman and loved it. She is clear with what she expects, when things are due and is willing to look at your things before you turn them in. I HIGHLY recommend everyone takes it online. It was extremely easy, with only a few papers and discussions to do.

Took the online course and she was quick with her responses and I like how it was structured. It was easy to maneuver the course because it was laid out logically. Although I have never met her, she seemed really nice with her feedback and replies. The readings are insightful too and not boring which is a plus.

Best professor ever! she is so hilarious and makes every learning experience fun! Loved her so much I'm taking her again for my next English class. She gives amazing feedback on all papers and gives you a very reasonable amount of time to turn in all work.

Readings are essential and interesting to learn what is going on in this world. I am usually bored with the reading selection but I really enjoyed them in this class and having discussions gave me insight to what others think. This course is a must!

This may not mean much for others, but it is great to see a Mexican professor. She is funny in class and had great insight to all the topics we covered. She is easy to talk to which makes it easy to go see her in her office for additional help.

Prof. Roman is the best. I like the pace of the course and she has several check points which make the class easier.

Not a tough grader at all. She is hilarious in her responses because some students expect too much. If you need help, she will help you. The two in one course was easy, especially once you get to 102. All the work was already done from 101. I wish she taught more classes.

Prof Roman was by far an amazing and organized instructor. It was clear what was expected from her and she followed up regularly. She was engaged in the class and in the students. I would definitely recommend her and I would take her again. In fact, I am taking her 102 class next.

Although I did not pass the course, I would take her again and again. The reason why I failed was my own fault but she was there to help but she could not make me do the assignments or show up. However, she cared and tried even when I didnt.

Professor Roman is a heckler for commas, and your grade will reflect that if you don't respect it. Overall funny teacher, it is VITAL you show up to class.

How is it possible that English II was better than English I? All thanks to this professor! So long as your viewpoints are abstract and elaborated, you are sure to get an A. Even if you make errors, she'll email you about them AND send you feedback specifically on what the error is and how to fix it. No "Joe, please reread the textbook." CLEAR CUT!

This class was easier than ENG 101. I love online classes & this one was structured so well. There's not too many assignments since the final paper is 10 pages, but she grades very fairly & will help you over email. As long as you do the work on time, you should get an A. I've never met her but she seems very nice. Take this online!

This class is made for adults. I am a returning adult and she was extremely helpful calling me when I was still unsure on things. She was very clear. I have just been out of school for too long.

The class had a nice flow. The final research paper was easy since it was completed in steps. I enjoyed this course. The final project was fun too.

I really love this class. It was easy to manage and you can work ahead. I like how if you turn in papers early she would tell you exactly what to fix to get an A. The assignments were not long at all. I wish she taught Speech too! She is also a great communicator.

I just wrapped up 101 and I liked this class so much that I along with others are also taking her for 102 this summer. She is allowing us to build on the work we already have done so with a shorter semester, it is great!

She did all she could to make sure we succeeded. She made support groups in class so once the pandemic hit, not only did I have her following up with me but I also had my support group of peers supporting me. She made the course so easy even though I have never taken an online class. She made herself available pretty much all day. Great professor.

Professor Roman seems very caring. She will give feedback and let you redo things IF you turn them in early, which is very nice. She seems to care greatly about teaching and her class. She does not give too much homework and if you're taking the online class you can work ahead.

I took her 101 class in the spring and then her 102 in the summer. She was so patient and gave the class motivation. I really needed a caring professor especially since I felt my life was falling apart. She is a great professor and a greater person.

Not a lot of teaching happened in the classroom - it's all in the writing feedback. She has a quick response time. I am a habitual procrastinator when it comes to writing - I stuck to her schedule with due dates for the final paper and she delivered feedback for every section. It was like having my own personal editor.

The class was used to write, so if you do not like to work in the classroom, this class is not for you. As a busy person, class time is all the time I have to work on assignments, so I appreciate it. She gives constant feedback. Her turn around time is fast. Attendance does count, so if you do not want to be in a class, then take an online class.

Professor Roman was an amazing professor! She was so sweet and gave amazing feedback on papers! If you can get a head on the research paper, DO IT!! Best thing I ever did was do that! Highly recommend her! Cares about her students academic and personal lives!

If you do like writing do not take this class. However, when doing the big research paper, she is very clear and helpful. She does a walk through for everything and is very helpful. If you like writing this is the class for you

I could not believe that I was able to produce as many papers as I did and in the amount of time I completed them. This is 101 and 102 in one semester. So there is no time to waste. Writing was completed by the end of class. If you are a writer, then this class will feel fast and easy but if you are not, then this class will feel hard and fast.

A lot of essays, if you like that then is perfect for you.

She is a very easy grader. Just get your work done on time and you'll be good to go.

Prof Roman is the best! She has clear expectations and truly wants all her students to succeed. If you're a good writer, then the 2in1 class will be a breeze. If you struggle to write, reconsider. There are usually templates and/or detailed instructions for all assignments. Most assignments are due by end of class, get ahead and leave class early.

Many writing assignments and discussions. Grading criteria very specific. 1 research paper due at the end of the semester that is drawn out over several weeks with due dates along the way so you cannot wait until the last min. I didn't think I was very good at writing or putting my thoughts on paper but I got an A for everything so easy grader IMO.
