She made geography class interesting and enjoyable. I am looking forward to taking more classes with her later on. She is very down to earth and easy to talk with.

Barnaby is an awesome teacher. She knows her info and she is really willing to help you out if you need to. Open minded and realizes everyone is human and can make mistakes. She cares alot about her students, and it shows.

She is very nice and makes class fun. She almost seemed like one of the students because she talks to you about your life and what is going on. She does give credit for going to class so go to class! She definately makes it clear what is on each test.

She is an amazing professor. Not an interesting subject, but she really fleshes out the subject with relevent information. Her tests are NOT hard; almost everyone in my class got an A last semester, plus she gives 10 bonus points per test. She hands out study guides with exactly what will be on the tests and everything's in the notes. Come to class

Very nice professor, would reccomend taking her. Go to class it will help your grade. If you have any problems or questions she is willing to go out of her way to help you. Would take her class again

Loved this class and professor. I know some people who had trouble with tests but you get to drop one and they're all multiple choice. No book needed. Be careful though, there's a good chance you will actually learn something in this class.

Michelle is an awesome teacher!! I had her for World Regional Geography and learned so much from her. I also went on a Spring Break trip to Italy with her. She takes the time to listen when you need help with something and is very understanding. I learned so much!!

Amazing class!! LOVE! She doesn't take attendance. She is such a nice woman. Do not buy the book, unless you don't take notes. All I had to do was study my notes and I was golden. There was no final and you get to drop 1 out of her 6 tests.

This course is designed for education majors and is intended to be more hands on. Having said that it was a lot of fun! INTERESTING information that is relevant to teachers. HIGHLY recommend!

Wonderful teacher, made the class interesting and worth showing up to. Material being covered on exams was crystal clear from lectures. Would highly recommend for geography.

She was a really great teacher! Sometimes it was hard to pick out the important part of her lecture as far as studying for tests go, but I went to the tutor and he tells you basically what every question on the test will be. I got an "A" on every test where I went to the tutor beforehand.

LOVED HER!!!! You have to attend class to ace the tests and they are super easy! Though I had to tutor some people only because they didn't go to class and they still passed with a B! Just go to class and write down all her slides and pay attention to movie dates she always puts those on the tests!

She does not take attendance, but it is crucial to attend class because everything she says will be on the test. It's very interesting and I enjoy going to class to hear her funny comments that accompany class lectures.

Awesome class and even more awesome is the teacher. Watch lots of videos and make sure to pay attention to them because the information from them will be on an exam! Tells jokes now and them and has so much interesting information to share!!!

Easy class. You get to drop your lowest test score, and no work besides tests. I'd really recommend this class. You learn stuff that's actually interesting, not just focusing on types of dirt. It's more about how the people are in each region of the world.

I learned so much about the world in this class. The tests are really easy, but I feel like I actively learned everything she taught us. I am so glad I took this class from her.

GREAT teacher! Makes the subject interesting and relatable. HIGHLY recommend using the lecture outlines she provides on Canvas. Very organized and easy to understand lectures, using Powerpoints as a visual aid. Instructor is laid-back and easy to talk to. Does NOT require the textbook for World Regional Geography - Just go to class and take notes!

Go to class! Attendance isn't required but there's a lot of stuff from lecture that's on the test. Print off the outline for each lecture and fill it out as she talks and study the outlines for the test. No class on Fridays but there's a short video + quiz on Canvas that's due the following Sunday night. Overall, easy if you pay attention.

Interesting course - lots of neat hands on projects, map intense but only expects you to learn from them. Really loves the subject and it shows. 8am class and plan to be there.

She's easy for the most part and she makes the class interesting! Attendance isn't mandatory but her power points don't have the majority of the notes on it so you have to go to class to take notes. She will crack jokes sometimes and the tests are easy if you study. I took it for WL, and the papers are pretty easy and you only have to do 4.

I always enjoyed this class despite me not being a geography person. Professor Barnaby always gave the best lectures and if you take notes and attend class, you will easily pass this class.

Professor Barnaby's lectures are very interesting! (Very knowledgeable in her field!) She is very funny, which helped to keep the class engaged in the material. I am now thinking about majoring in Geography because of this class! She broke the concepts down piece by piece, which made some of the more abstract terms easier to dissect.

Took World Regional Geography with Michele! I would recommend taking this course from her! She is fun, has a sense of humor & tries to make sure that students are understanding the material. Print out outline on Canvas! Tests are a little hard so be sure to pay attention & take GOOD notes! Tests are usually 40 multi choice, 10 map identification

Go to class. Powerpoints are not uploaded online and if you pay attention in class you will understand so much better. She is very clear and helpful and is always open to questions. She doesn't make you go to class on most Fridays, and instead post a video to watch with 5 questions over it. Test are not super easy, so study your lecture notes.

I really enjoyed Barnaby. She was funny in class and was never boring. Definitely go to class though, taking good notes doesn't always help. Just listen and you will do fine on exams.

Michele Barnaby is by far one of my favorite teachers I have had all year. I took her World Regional Geography class, not the easiest subject, but she takes the time to lecture about everything that will be on the test. GO TO CLASS, TAKE NOTES, AND YOU WILL GET AN A. She is an amazing teacher who elaborates and makes what she teaches interesting.

I do not just feel like I was sitting down in class and feel like I was temporarily memorizing something that would be on the test. If you pay attention in class you will actually learn about world geography. I highly recommend taking this course!

Barnaby has been my favorite professor at Pittsburg State so far. She really makes world geography an easy concept to understand and made me anticipate going to class. I would absolutely take this course again. Loved it!

Go to class and use her outlines she puts on canvas. Those become a study guide for the exams, which you will NEED. She's a really cool teacher and knows what she is talking about. Tests are on the more difficult side.

class is not mandatory but i would go to class if i was you. make sure to study the maps given on canvas. If i actually studied for this class it would have been an easy A.

LOVE Professor Barnaby. She is one of the best teachers I have ever met. Extremely nice, makes some pretty corny jokes but they make class better. Not having class Fridays is nice, but do the quizzes. If you don't go to class, have fun on the exams- you won't pass them.

She covers a lot of material but it is so interesting. Don't skip because you will miss a lot in one class. Just study a little. Not a lot at all. You will pass.

Barnaby is a great teacher. If you think you can skip this class and still succeed, you're wrong. She makes her lectures very interesting. A lot of what is on the test isn't from the notes, but from what she says. Hence the reason that it is so important to go to class.

I went into the class hoping that I wouldn't have to memorize too many maps but after the first lecture I realized that she is such a great teacher, she makes it interesting and I don't dread going to her class.

I highly suggest WRG with her! We got most Fridays off to do an online assignments, and she kept the class super interesting! Loved this class!

This class is slightly difficult. It is ESSENTIAL to show up to lectures. You get all your notes from her talking, she doesn't really use slides.

Absolutely loved this class. Her lectures were great and she was always well organized. You could tell that she definitely loves her job, making me inspired to come to class.

Loved Prof. Barnaby. She doesn't use powerpoints so you will get all of your info from her lecture. Grade is based on 6 tests and 10 quizzes over videos you have to watch. She drops the lowest test grade. As long as you show up and study before tests, you should be good.

Loved having Barnaby as a professor! The only downside is nearly all of the grade was coming from test and quiz scores. It is hard to catch up if you miss a lecture.

make sure you show up for class. lectures arent posted online & you wont understand other notes unless you are there. such a nice teacher

Since this was an online only class, there were 2-3 recorded lectures everyweek with a short quiz after each one. the quizzes can get pretty specific on the lecture videos but if you take good notes and go to the extra credit meetings youll gety an A

Hands down the best professor I've had in the past 3 years at PSU. If you listen and take notes in the lectures, you should have no problems. Super empathetic, understanding, and approachable!

She was amazing! I absolutely loved her class and everything she taught was super interesting. Her style of lecture is easy to follow along with and her tests pretty much matched up with the outlines she handed out. I would take her class all over again if I could!
