She is a very cool teacher that sincerely cares about her students. It is also obvious that she loves her job. The tests are not tricky, but you do need to do your work and keep up with the readings. You slack off you get a bad grade.

She likes the class to get to know one another. She also makes a great effort to get to know each student indivudually, as well. Her lectures are interesting.

I was the "cute" guy that got an A in the class...lol...I really earned it though. She makes a great effort to help everyone succeed. She's a great person outside of the class. I had the opportunity to go bar hopping with her along with other students. She reminds me of Reese Witherspoon

Ms. Mega is a very nice professor who cares for her students personally. She is attractive, for her age, also. Her only problem is that she sometimes lets her idealistic views distort her teaching style. She doesn't even own a TV because she has issues with society's sense of beauty and social roles. But, overall she is a respectable teacher.

I enjoyed being in Mega's class b/c she kept the class awake/alive with her enthusiasm. She teaches clearly & at a good pace. She grades fairly on speeches. BUT do make sure you fulfill all speech requirements. Mega is nice and helpful. 4 speeches, 1 final, some assignment checking & pop quizzes from reading (I only had 2). Got an A- in the class.

Michele is one of the BEST teachers I've ever had. I learned so much from her class & she is so entertaining. I strongly recommend taking this class!

Michelle has been my favortie teacher this semester! She gives great examples on what she is trying to teach you. You have 4 test through out the semester but she tells you what to study. You do need to be in class to get good notes & study. I can't believe others don't like her style. Mega loves her students, her class is interesting!

Mega walks into the room and brings her professionalism with her. She cares about whether her students are getting the material or not and she puts a lot of passion into her teaching. I am still mid-semester but I will miss her when the class ends. She is a brilliant teacher with a beautiful soul and she brings everything she's got to the table.

I have taken Mega for 3 classes so I obviously think she is a great professor. However, she is very strict and a pretty harsh grader so you must really work hard in her class to do well. She does not tolerate slackers or careless students. If you want to learn and are willing to work hard then I recommend her.

Attend class and take notes the tests are basically based on the notes...Is very clear...3 tests, 3 two page papers, 1 group presentation easy and fun class: )

The class seems difficult at first, and yes the projects are hectic and time consuming but its worth it. It is a very good and easy class if you want to put the work in. Keep up with the work, attend class, do the projects the right way and you should be ok. The professor is really nice and helpful

Prof. Mega is an excellent teacher. The class is not hard, do the reading and participate and you'll get a good grade. The exams are from the class lectures and the book. She tells you what's on there. There is one group project and 3-5 personal reflections. She also attempts to break-up the class by having short group discussion.

She is one of the nicest professors at CSUN. She really cares about her students and tries to engage the class instead of having boring lectures. Class is easy if you attend and take good notes. She even tells you what to study for each exam. The only way to fail this class is to never attend and not do anything, period.

2nd class with Mega. She delivers well-organized, engaging lectures. Personable, but provides an academic challenge. Use your lecture notes as your knowledge base and use the text occasionally for clarification. You should know vocabulary, of course, but ultimately, she seeks your thorough conceptual understanding.

Her class was hard, but what do you expect, college to be easy. She made going to class enjoyable, she provides slides for students to follow with her lectures, she provided study guides, and expected students to be on time, pay attention, and learn something. If you think all of these qualities are bad, then you should not be in college.

I think the previous negative comments are from one person who obviously failed the class.Shes a good teacher who actually cares and knows how to teach. Guys if class gets boring, you can just stare at her bcuz she's a hottie.

whoever is writing these comments must not be some angry individuals because Mega has been my favorite teacher at CSUN. Classes aren't supposed to be easy...don't blame Mega because you don't know how to read. Trust me, you will enjoy Mega and her classes!!

ive never enjoyed a class that much before Mega is an AMAZING teacher i could not wait to go to her classes!!! shes smart, funny, and pretty hot! she is very knowledgeable and respect ALL cultures!! ive learned ALOT TAKE HER TAKE HER!!! you wont regret it!!! and the class is not that hard i got an A its all common sense!

Stop making Michele feel like she is the world's best teacher. She's talented and smart, however she has alot of grow to do, before she becomes an amazing professor. I wish that she was more approachable, and care less of an attitude!

I hated Mega pretty much the whole semester. But in the end she was one of my favorite teachers. She really cares about her students and she will make you work and be prepared because she doesnt care if you fail. Good luck and get on her good side!!

Michele is a teacher who challenges her students to work beyond their comfort level in writing, which is actually GOOD. School is for learning and you only learn when you stretch yourself beyond your comfort levels. I learned a lot in this writing class, the writing I learned here has led me into grad school and now I am an instructor in college!!

would take her again for theory. make sure you read the book even if she goes over all the concepts in her lecture. it makes it easier for you on her tests as they are worded in ways meant to trick you. go to class. relates theories to life. 3 tests, one group project, 2 reflection papers, participation. great class, not hard if you put effort in!

go to class. there is a lot of helpful hints/guidelines about how to complete papers well. there are three big papers, a professional packet, and 10 writing assignments. she has an error free rule so adhere to it because one error impacts your grade. be sure to proofread/revise/had people look over it. great class if you put your full effort it!!

Mega is a wonderful professor. Very intelligent & makes students earn grades, which is expected of college students. 3 exams, 2 short reflection papers, & 1 group project. Do the work, study, & GO TO CLASS! Lectures are KEY to this course! Mega is a wonderful person as well; very personal and helpful. Interesting class!!!

She is very clear on what she expects , and gives good constructive criticism, but it was not rare for the students in class to mention the B word when talking about her. It is just hard to get over her sour attitude, passive agressive demeanor, and her lack of compassion. I might as well had a robot teaching this class.

Impossibly hard tests but the material is interesting. She definitely grades hard. If there is any possible type of reasoning to deduct points, guarantee it will happen.. However, she is one of the nicest, charismatic human beings I have ever met and she is someone you should meet in life.

I really enjoyed her class. She wants you to learn the material so that you can understand and use it in your life. Most teachers will just give you an easy A once you memorize information. If you don't attend this class, you won't do well. But, if you go, take good notes, and make sure you understand them you'll not only pass the class, but take something away from it. Mega is a great professor. Tests are based on your knowledge of the theories which are clearly taught.

Took the winter session course which was 16 weeks of work into 2 weeks. It was challenging and hard but I learned a lot. Professor cares about her students and wants them to learn useful information. I really recommend Professor Mega!

Mega is a wonderful professor! At first I sat through her class with all the other ratings on this site in mind and I freaked out thinking I wouldn't pass. In the end, I had an 89.95% and she bumped me up to an A-. She's really nice if you give her a chance, and gives great feedback and really helps you improve your public speaking skills!

Professor Mega is one of the best professors so far on CSUN campus from my experience. She actually teachers the material with good PowerPoint and great examples, recorded lectures when you dont have time to come online. Discussion and quizzes, overall this class is not easy but she guides you through everything you need to know.

Mega was an decent choice for 356. However, in lecture she covers a lot of material, stuff that is not covered in the book. You will have to read and writing a lot. A writing assignment each week. 6 quizzes covering 2 chapters each based on both the book and whatever she says in class. That frustrated me, since the book felt worthless at times.

Shes very nice and straightforwards. Her lectures are simple if you pay good attention. Its just a lot of reading and prepping for the exams. Shes very nice to students.

Mega's lectures were very interactive and made you feel like you were a part of the class rather than a spectator. There were many extra credit opportunities for those struggling. To be honest, I never read the book since most of the exams covered her lectures, but you might need to check the book out sometimes in case something wasn't covered.

I see some students saying that she is being tough but honestly she is one of the most understanding professors out there. The ones who didn't do well in class were people who wanted to get good grades without putting effort, but honestly, the class is pretty easy - COMS 150 at least. Her lectures are also interactive which is refreshing.

Mega is amazing! She is so sharp and has a real gift for teaching communication. So professional. I was a little nervous about taking theory but turns out I was in great hands with her and learned so much. I think people who don't like her class just aren't engaging enough.

Great teacher, learned so much about life and work ethic. She actually wants you to learn and helps you with lessons on life and career outside of school. Lots of assignments but not busy-work meant to waste your time, actually used it to help me and I've found myself using so much of what she taught me useful for other COMMS classes.

I've never written a review, but I had her for COMS 251. She is the most dedicated teacher you will have in your academic success of learning. She's extremely thoroughly and clear. She lays out her powerpoints in her lectures to help clarify all the material that will appear on the quiz. She'll be there for you when you need her as long as speak up

Professor Mega is one of my favorite professors I've ever taken. She's so nice, and her lectures are clear. Everything she goes over is on her quizzes. She sends out reminders whenever assignments are due. She's a pretty easy grader and quizzes were easy as long as you read the lectures and assigned chapters.

Just finished COMS356 with Mega, and even though this class had a lot of work, everything was doable and enjoyable. Mega is such a caring professor and I felt bad for her in the online setting as very few people would participate in the class. Overall, a solid choice for any communications class!

Such a caring professor! fully online course. Lectures were OK. You MUST read AND watch lectures to pass quizzes. Many HW assignments due weekly. Participation activities are worth 1 pt each. Reflective analysis are worth up to 7.5 pts each. 6 quizzes all worth 11 pts each. 5 extra credit opportunities, worth 1 pt each. VERY specific on grading.

My absolute favorite professor I have come across in my 3 years of college!! Extremely considerate and gives incredible, informative lectures that tie into our lives and helps you relate. You end class feeling educated and happy. She's not easy, but not absurdly hard. Take great notes and you'll pass the quizzes and midterm with flying colors!

Ensure that you take detailed notes in class... not just the bullet points on the screen, but examples Professor Mega uses. Overall, good class with lots of collaboration within the class.

This was her zoom class. You have to take notes on the lectures and read the textbook for the quizzes. She does make up points after quizzes. 2 group projects. If you do not study for quiz it will drop your grade a bit. She doesn't give enough time for the quiz since it has 3 essay questions. She records the lectures so you can go back.
