She is awesome! Anatomy is a difficult class but she will do her best to help you understand. She also give extra credit to help your chances of passing or for a better grade. Take her!!!!

I was very successful in this class. The teacher is a very excellant teacher!!! She is very helpful and gives extra credit if you need it. the class itself is demanding of your complete attention, but Mrs. Monlux helps you with any barriors. I recomend this teacher very highly.

It has been years since I had her class, but rest assured I will never forget just how awesome her class really is! You will need to enroll into her class first thing, because so many vie to have her as an instructor and to have anatomy without her, is a down right mistake! MJC is very fortunate to have Michelle as an instructor!!!

there is so much to learn in Monlux's class, but she manages to make it interesting and easy to remember. she is also very patient when extra instruction is needed.

Michelle loves teaching, and anatomy- and it shows. She explains things clearly, and constantly reviews. She is a fair professor who will take the time to explain things in a way that you will remember- she has lots of great hints for memorizing things. She is interesting and motivational....I highly recommend taking her class!

You must take Michelle for this class. She is very enthusiastic about teaching anatomy that she makes you enjoy the class. She gives out a lot of helpfull hints to remember information. The course itself requires a lot of time for all the memorization. I really enjoyed taking that class because I learned a lot and there was no surprises.

YOU MUST TAKE MICHELLE! She is such an awesome person. I love her! She speaks the student's language and is so organized and easy to understand. There are no surprises on her tests. There is so much to learn, and she makes it as easy as possible. Truly the only option if you are thinking about taking Anatomy.

Anatomy being a hard class will be made easy and fun to attend if taken with her. her instructions are very very clear. if you do you work, you will work our with an A in the class. she is the best teacher. you wont find anyone better. from the cells, through bones, muscles, skeleton, and trough cadavers, she will be with you all the way. Michelle is without a doubt the best teacher I have had in college. I couldnt wait to go to class. The class is a lot of work, but she is very straightforward in what you need to know and conveying that to the student. If you need to take anatomy then you need to take Michelle...trust me you will love her!

Anatomy is a difficult class but she makes it sooo much easier! She breaks down everything so that anyone can understand it. She is the ONLY one you should take Anatomy from! We've seen some of Upton's tests and Michele doesn't require near as much detail.

she is energetic, interesting, easy to understand, and best of all straight forward. Tells you what is going to be on the exams, reviews info 4 quiz right before taking it, gives extra credit and doesn't waste time DUMBBB ?'s. Nobody wants valuable time spent in the labs wasted with people who don't even know where they are for the 2nd semester

This is the first class since I started college that I have became friends with the instuctor and thought that learning can be very fun and exciting

Michele is an excellent teacher, and very kind. She uses helpful pnemonics to remember different structures and often compares things to food ;D She is very clear and organized, and her tests were not bad. Do the work and study, study, study.. and you should do fine. She also has the funniest laugh too ;)

Hands down the best instructor I have EVER had. If you are going to take Anatomy -you have to take it with Michele. She obviously loves teaching and she makes this challenging subject fun and interesting. Very clear on what will be on tests & quizzes, no surprises. Great lectures and labs. Very helpful - always makes herself available to help. A+++

Michelle is a wonderful instructor...she should be teaching other instructors how to be a successful teachers and how to treat your students.She is clear on all aspects of anatomy and did'nt try to trick you with hard test questions. You did'nt have to take the final if you had above 98%. She has a beautiful personality and was helpful.

She is one of the best instructors I have ever had. She loves her job and you can tell. She also takes an interest in her students and makes you feel very comfortable. She is very clear in what she wants and helps you learn the subject matter however she can. Love her!

She makes a hard class interesting. I don't think the tests have to be so hard though. I would have liked more extra credit opportunities. Make sure you make use of SI sessions.

Anatomy is hard as is there is a lot of material, but you wont find a better teacher than Michelle to help you sort it out and present it in a way that makes it real easy to learn it all, she is one of those very for the student kind of teachers and genuinely cares, she is always available for questions and offers great solutions if you are having

Always has a huge smile on her face, she makes learning anatomy fun and makes it to were you can actually understand the terms and concepts. I wouldn't recommend taking anatomy with anyone else other than her...shes simply amazing!!

Michele is the BEST anatomy professor at MJC, you cannot go wrong in taking her. Everything is hands on, she never tricks you on tests, she is fair, fun and very helpful. If you do well enough throughout the semester, you may not even have to take the final, if your points allow. You can't go wrong when you TAKE ANATOMY WITH MICHELE!!!

Michele is a wonderful teacher. The class is difficult, but she tries her best to get everyone to understand. As long as you study, you will do fine. She gives one quiz per week and an exam every five weeks or so. I reccommend taking Anatomy with her.

Greatest teacher ever!! Hard class, fast paced, but really fun! Her labs are long, but super laid back with music playing in the background. To succeed, I highly recommend the S.I. study sessions throughout the week as there are hundreds of terms to memorize and studying the models is a must!!

She's the easiest professor I've ever had. She explains everything in detail, and her lectures/lab are easy to follow and understand. Attend every lecture and lab and you'll get an easy "A"! If you get a high grade on every exam, you don't have to take the final! Marvelous teacher! I highly recommend her.

Brutal! The teacher has many rules which some students must follow ( not all ) if you know what I mean, Excellent lectures and video photos to follow on blackboard. But it's still very nose to the grind studying.

Michell is a touch cookie, dont thing that going into her class will give you an A even if you are already an A student. The material is fast fast fast and memorzation is key and there is allot of it. Bones i never thought existed before we had to learn and every muscle in the human body alon with allot more had to be learned within 1 week, almost

do your self a favor, before you take her class memorize all of the human bones,the ones you can see and the ones inside the bones,along with the entire muscle system. it will give you a BIG advantae and give an already A student a possible B in the class. Plan on attending SI classes too it will help

Michele is so good at what she does! If you have the chance to take anatomy with her definitely do! She makes things very clear to where it just clicks.

Best anatomy teacher! I started with an F on my first of 5 tests but passed with a B. You must memorize about 200+ things per week. This requires a study group, SI time, flash cards and name game practice. Never put off studying daily or you'll fail. This class was very interesting & lots of fun but don't expect a life outside of it! Good luck!

She was great. Always had time for students with questions, but kept the class moving. Engaging lecturer who makes a difficult course seem easier.

I had Michelle for Human Biology and she is awesome. She explains things really well and answers everyone's questions! Tests are a little rough. Chapter's homework is online and not hard just practice. Overall she's great, take her and you won't regret it!

Great teacher! Helps you retain hard information by giving you hints to remember. I got an A but had to work for it. She did play favorites, so hopefully you are a favorite.

I had her for both courses. She pays favorites towards the people who are actually TRYING to suceed. She was always quick to respond to emails and everyday before class she had 1 hour of study group where she would help students to understand this hard meterial. However, only a few of us would attend. She makes mistakes but she is fair!!!

Michelle is an AMAZING professor. She really knows her stuff, but it is ultimately up to the student to study. She really pushes her students to their maximum potential and should be considered a great choice for either anatomy or physiology!!

She is a good teacher. Does learnsmart which is online version for notecards & APR which is an online version with detailed pictures of cadavers&bones and its VERY useful. Don't be late! she's nice but i think she's bipolar. I love her, had her for Bio 116 and Anatomy 125.

She is a really great teacher for anatomy and human biology. But its not an easy class you have to try hard to get all of the concepts and take time to memorize all models. She gives extra credit which is good. All and all if you try really hard you can get an A .

Michele is an amazing teacher. Her lectures are very clear, and she provides notes with the information that will be on the test. Use the LearnSmart system and study your notes. The tests are not easy; however, if you study, you should be fine. Her questions are not stated to trick you.

Michele is very organized and always excited about class material. She is always welcome to questions and is very helpful. She doesn't put material on tests that you wouldn't have the opportunity to learn. It's not an easy class by any means, but as long as students put the time into studying and doing well, they can.

I agree that some of her questions are not clear and specific. I wish we can keep our test, sometimes I feel like she has the answers wrong. You have to stay focused 100% in this class in order to get an A. Its a hard class but she does try her best to help and I think she is getting better with time.

Exams=very hard! Sample exams don't prepare for exams. In-class quizzes are poorly worded, she writes Q&A 5-10 mins before quiz. Dissection labs aside, most boring labs I've ever had, we just labeled models for hrs. Doesn't take control of the class & allows students to talk over her- very distracting. Nice lady but not all she's cracked up to be.

Michele is amazing. Always willing to answer questions. Anatomy has a lot of material to learn, but she makes it as easy to understand as possible. Do the work and you'll pass. She never tests on stuff she didn't talk about. All of her lectures are online so you can listen to them again. Gets grades back to you quickly. Labs are a lot of fun.

Love her way of teaching. Anatomy is not easy and contains a lot of material but she will try to make it as easy as possible to understand. She is there for you. If you have questions, ask! Studying is a def must! Do your part and you'll be fine. Exams are hard. And BTW, actual exams are nothing like the practice so don't rely on them.

Michele was a fabulous teacher! I think she is by far the best Anatomy teacher. She really wants you to do well and is very happy all the time, however she is a tough teacher but what anatomy teacher isint? Take her if you can!

YES shes a wonderful person and a great teacher.... BUT her tests are really hard.... if you are a good "test taker" you ll be ok... YES she wants you to learn but she is a difficult grader also.... I wouldn't take her class unless u dedicate ALL day to this 1 class OR if your just a genius at remembering things.....

Great teacher! Very knowledgable. Always eager to help, really great at explaining things and has you do learnsmarts before lecture and then explains everything further. Prof Monlux was absolutely wonderful both in Bio 116 and Anat 125. She was always willing to help her students and would spend lots of extra time with you if you ask, to ensure you understand the information. Would definitely recommend. Tests are tough, studying is mandatory.
