Awesome professor! Highly recommend to anyone! Very interesting material and a great environment to learn in.

She teaches well and answers questions with clarity. You have to study well and know your stuff but if you know it you will do well. She is not tricky but do go to class. Her notes are somewhat self explantatory but do need explaining much of the time. Good teacher and easy to understand.

Very good teacher, one of the best professors I have had at WSU. She is super nice and understanding. Do go to lecture, a lot of the things that will be on the exam she emphasises in lecture. Very good at explaining things and her tests are straight off her notes. If you study what she tells you to, you will get an A.

She uses all the test that you have taken before on the final along with the a the last three sections. she has everything on the slides and doesn't use the book that often if you print off the slides you will be good and it makes it easy to follow along. Good online class. Study the slides. Know them well. Class takes time, but if you put it in it's pretty easy. Labs can be a pain, but that's to be expected. I didn't have much interaction with Skopec, but the class is well organized. Quizzes contain some trick questions ocassionally.

Michele is so helpful she responds to emails quickly and her online lectures were fun to listen to. She has an upbeat voice and gives study guides before tests. If you study the guides review the slides you will do great.

Took both human and comp phys from her. Just go to class with the powerpoints printed out, take notes then review them for the test and you'll do fine.

Great teacher! The class is quite a bit of work if you want a good grade but Skopec wants you to succeed. She loves what she is teaching and knows the subject material very well. I liked Skopec a lot, and most people do. She gives a lot of assignments so if you do well on them, it will boost your grade. She posts practice exams online. Be prepared for essay-based exams. Also be prepared to write quite a few papers. The class will be easier if you've taken human physiology.

Michele is awesome and hilarious. This class is a million times easier than Anatomy, and very interesting. The labs are extremely easy (1 a week) and so are the quizzes (also 1 a week). The tests are so-so, but all of the questions come from the powerpoints. She posts her lectures online if you can't make class. Definitely Physiology from Skopec!

Michelle is a great person and a good professor. Her tests are easy if you have gone to class and understand the material. She doesn't try to trick you on exams. She is very up-front with what is required for class and lab. And if you talk to her about wood rats, you get brownie points!!

I took the online class and lab. I learned a ton! One thing I can say is DO NOT buy the text book! Just buy the code from Pearson for the physio labs. I used my book once as a reference. Her tests come exclusively from the power points. The final is "cumulative" but it is just a compliation of the old tests. I earned an A quite easily.

Took online, with online lab. Learned a lot, tests were reasonable, she provided practice tests which were helpful with some of the questions showing on the exam. Had some difficulty with her through emails. She seemed too busy to answer questions fully, perhaps would have gone better in person for communication.

Dr. Skopec is by far the best zoology professor. She is passionate in her work so she is very knowledgeable about all the material she lectures on. She makes both class and lab a lot of fun and very interesting. If you come to class and take good notes you will do great. She is very helpful and makes it clear what she expects from you.

Skopec is one of the very best professors at Weber that I've ever had. She is clear and straightforward. Wants to make sure you understand the material and open to questions and comments. As long as you go to class and study a few hours a week outside class you should be fine. She helps make the material interesting and understandable.

Dr. Skopec makes this online class super awesome. She's so clear in what she wants and with lab score, she makes it almost impossible to fail. I got an A, but I had to work for it. Fast response times. She's THE PERFECT professor for this course. The material is hard, but Dr. S gives you all the opportunity to do your absolute best!

Weekly quizzes that aren't too bad if you listen to lectures. She posts lectures up on Canvas. Exams can be tricky. She drops your lowest test and quiz score and offers some extra credit.

Dr. Skopec is the single best professor at Weber State. She knows her stuff and explains it in such a way that if you show up, you will do well. Her exams are not difficult if you have studied and reviewed the lecture material thoroughly. I love how she organizes the course and she never once made a mistake that compromised her professionalism.

Dr. Skopec is amazing. This class is tough, but for an online course it was very organized. She is very smart & is not cocky about her intelligence. She truly wants to help you learn and is hilarious too. I had not taken Anatomy before Physiology; however, I received an A with a 100% on the final. It is not an Easy A but is doable. Good teacher! She is very nice and helpful with whatever you need but don't expect an easy A. It is possible to get an A but you need to put in the time and effort to earn it. Her lectures were pretty simple to follow but the lab protocols were kind of confusing at times. She uses Mastering A&P for almost all of her labs so be prepared for that.

This class was awesome! Dr. Skopec is a great teacher with a fun personality. I almost want to change majors so that I can take more classes from her. This class centered around the book "The Omnivore's Dilemma".

Dr. Skopec is one of my favorite professors at Weber. She's hilarious, down to earth, and really knows her stuff. She didn't talk down to us and the whole class just felt really laid-back. Great teacher to take online. Lectures are easy to follow, you don't need the book for the class. Make sure to study the lecture notes for exams and you should be fine. Also, be ready to spend lots of time on the lab homework. Definitely not a class to cram right before the test, make sure you study with anticipation if you want to do well.

I really like Dr. Skopec. I have taken Comparative and human physiology from her. Her lectures are fun and very informative. Her test are straight forward and from the material that was covered in class. She is very nice and helpful outside of glass. She gives a lot of good aids for the test. Study her slides and do the practices tests.

The class is very intensive due to depth of the material. Pay attention & get a head start on the reading so you can remember specifics, she'll ask about them on the tests. Lab report every other week. Everyone has to lead a discussion on a scientific paper & you have to submit answers to their questions, so you'll be reading 2-3 articles a week.

This professor had assignments and exam worth large amounts a points, but when points were taken off it was -0.25 for a 5 point question! Textbook is not needed, all the needed material is in her lecture slides.

One of my favorite professors at Weber State. She prepares her students well for tests. Use the SI, it is helpful. She allows you to study her past tests. Don't worry about a book, the slides have everything you need to know. Her lectures are very good, so I always went to class. However, if you do well just studying slides, you can skip.

I have found this class to be VERY difficult. The assignments themselves are doable, but the exams are overwhelmingly hard for me. Professor Skopec has amazing lectures, they are very lengthy but need to be watched to pass. She is very easy to get in contact with and is understanding when it comes to personal obstacles affecting your participation.

You get one opportunity per week for extra credit, your lowest exam gets dropped, and she will reuse the same questions from past tests for the comprehensive final. I took the online class. I loved it. Her lectures are great and you can watch them multiple times. She gives you a sample test to study from and a study guide. You still need to work hard for the class to get a good grade, but it's clear what you need to know. I made copies of the powerpoint slides and took notes as I listened to lecture.

Lecture videos are kind of hard to sit through sometimes, kick the playback speed up to 1.25 or 1.5 and you'll thank me. Easy class to get an A in if you have a good background and you care about learning. Plenty of opportunity for extra credit and she drops a ridiculous amount of assignments/test. Don't get lazy though.

Tests are the important things in this class. She is super fair in grading and will take the highest score and make it 100% the tests are on her powerpoints, which she posts her lectures online. I would definitely recommend taking this class from her.

Professor Skopec is a good professor. Labs take awhile to complete as well as homework, her exams are based on her powerpoint lectures so it will be very helpful to take notes as have flashcards. She offers extra credit opportunities. The class is not easy but it is not impossible.

Michele Skopec is the best professor I have ever had. Her lectures are AMAZING. She is informative and does not seek to trick you on quizzes or tests. Her tests are verbatim from her lectures. If you study based on her lectures, you will get an A of some kind. She is also extremely responsive to emails and will NEVER make you feel stupid.

Look. This is a class that needs some effort, but she makes it as easy as it can be. Everything is from lecture, and she highlights pretty well what is going to be important for the test. Use the practice tests. Quizzes are open everything. I took notes from slides, highlighted the important parts in lecture, then did the study guide. Did just fine

This class was definitely a challenge but if you put your time into it, its a lot easier. She does lectures every week that are basically the tests. Make sure to take the pre tests and look up studodoc reviews for the test. Those help a ton. She gives extra credit so take advantage!

Professor Skopec moves FAST in her lectures. Learn shorthand. She explains things well and answers questions asked, there are 3-4 lab reports done in this class so be ready for that, and each week there are student presentations that require class participation for a grade. But I would, and am scheduled to, take a class from her again!

This class had an integrated lab which involved some group work, but not hard. There is only one report you have to write and you can do it as a group if you prefer. The criteria was laid out clearly, and the assignments helped you prepare directly for the tests. Lots of presentations, but they aren't very hard.

Attendance is only mandatory one day a week, but her lecture slides are much easier to understand when you attend class. Don't waste your money on the textbook, you won't need it. Michele Skopec is easily one of the best professors I've had. She genuinely cares about teaching and it shows. Unlike other professors who mainly do lectures, she goes above and beyond to try to teach us the skills we may need in our field of study. Her classes are harder than some other professor's classes, but I feel like I get my money's worth.

She made all the content super digestible and answered every question to the best of her ability. Her lectures were super engaging AND you receive lunch every week. Worth taking coming from someone who doesn't really resonate with food sustainability, content is more interesting than presumed.

AMAZING! You will have review sessions that will be super helpful. The lectures give you important information so go to them, zoom, or access them at home. Tells you the pages in the textbook that correlate to the information. The textbook will go more in detail, so I recommend going over that as well. Does have a lab report every week or so.

Skopec is very funny and her lectures are decent. There are lots of papers and a good amount of presentations, but they are easy to do. Has no cumulative final which is nice. She's easy to get ahold of as well.

Dr. Skopec is an amazing professor. She really makes you WORK for your grade, but it's all productive and highly relevant to the class. Everything is structured to further real-life skills you'll use in academia and research. She throws you a lot of bones too if you're struggling. Show up and ask questions, you'll do great.
