She's great. She's easily in contact and wants you to suceed. She'll read your papers before they're do and give you helpful hints. She has great examples that relate to the topics. Overall, she's a great teacher and always there if you need help! Try to get her class. It's an easy A and she gives bonus stuff. Amazing!

Great teacher. Some of the things she says can be funny. She's very nice and willing to help you with any problem whether it deals with class or a personal problem (for example, I needed relationship advice one time and she was happy to help me). Try to get her as a teacher.

Doctor B is the best psychology teacher I have ever had. Talk about clarity, she makes the information very clear by giving great examples of real life situations. You will never need to take your book out the plastic just do what she says and your destined for an A.

She was a great teacher. The syllabus has all the assignments upfront, and there was only one each month! The review sheets were exactly what was on the tests. You dont use the book - so dont buy one! She also uses blackboard so all her notes are on there if you miss some days. Her lectures are awesome, and is easy going for extra help. :o)

Great teacher. Clear in explanations. Not monotone, interesting to listen to. Most often relates what you learn in class to daily life. Syllabus has everything for the year incl. the final along with test dates. All notes are online if you miss a class. Don't buy the book, listen to her and your golden. You would be very lucky to have her.

Hands down the best professor i have had in my life. She clearly goes through information through powerpoint slides step by step and allowes you to take notes at a steady pace. If you have any question what so ever she would be glad to answer it in a precise manner. I highly recomment this teacher for any Phycology course you are taking.

I think this was the first time ever i went to each and every class! She is amazing, she looks like a big Teddy Bear and all you want to do is give her a big hug! Classes were always interesting and went by really fast...she uses multiple approaches to teaching and therefore made it easier for all of us to grasp on to her down to earth concepts.

Awesome professor. Very organized and her expectations are clear. I took her online child psych class and it was very easy to navigate. She layed out the whole semester from the beginning and allowed you to work ahead if you wanted. You could take quizzes over and over and she offered extra credit. Her final exam was open from the beginning so you could work on it all semester! Awesome teacher and very understanding!

Dr. Bannoura is the best!!!! Take her class if you are lucky enough to do so!! I took her for Stats and Experimental. She is so helpful and makes herself easily accessable to her students!! I LOVED HER I wish i was still at HVCC to take her again. Basically, do your work and don't be a slacker and you won't have any problems..she deserves the best!

She makes psychology extremely interesting. She puts outlines of chaps online so that you can print them out and write your notes directly onto them. (plus I was more able to pay attention) Do the BONUS QUIZZES and the bonus in-class assignments. They are all really really easy.

I had Dr B for Psy 100 online. She is a great professor and very helpful. The assignments are fun and help tie the course and real life together. I especially liked the online quizzes that went with each chapter because it helped me to learn the material.

I took Developmental Psych with Dr. B online and found it to be a great class. She presents all of the material in a clear, concise, and organized manner. She makes her expectations clear and is extremely helpful and easily accessible via email. The class was relatively easy because the material was so interesting. Highly recommend her class!

Dr. B is the best. She's very laid back, and keeps lectures entertaining. Let's just say I took psych with another Prof before her and got an F..... I ended up with an A in her class. She makes things so you can actually comprehend it, and she really knows what shes talking about. I enjoyed her and her class.

Best teacher at Hudson Valley. She makes the subject matter very interesting and she is a genuinely nice person. Even for an intro class you will have to do work but her projects and writing assignments aren't really that much of a chore.

Great teacher. Very knowlegeble, very organized, clear due dates and directions for every project, very prompt in responding to students,flexible and understanding when there were real dificult circumstances, loved, loved, loved the class.Exam time allowance little short, requires full memorization of the material. All the rest was great.

I did well in her class even though her explanations during lectures didn't seem to jive w/lecture notes (for me anyway). If you apply yourself, you will do well. If you don't go to class & don't turn in assignments, a well-deserved F!

She is very helpful and laid back. He class atmosphere is so chill. It's easy to do well in her class as long as you do the work. She makes herself very accessible to help if you're struggling. I HIGHLY recommend taking her classes.

Dr. B is my favorite teacher at HVCC. She is very clear in her explanations of the lecture notes, and tells you the things that will be on the test directly. Attendance in this class is not mandatory, but I would highly recommend it! Take as many psych courses as possible with her! GREAT TEACHER!!

If there is any Psych Prof on campus that practically hands you an A on a silver platter, Dr. B would be that Prof. All you have to do is show up for class, take notes and do the assignments. She critiques drafts and allows you to resubmit a final for the best grade possible. Very laid back and responds immediately to emails.

Behavioral Stats is really complicated material but Dr. B is extremely helpful in explaining and welcomes homework questions. She's very approachable and fair with grading.

I just had general psych with Dr. B.. WOW as a freshman i wasn't sure what to expect. She was an amazing teacher! She made things clear, had a quick response by email, and very fluent with blackboard. everything is available if you pay attention. I will try to get her again for other psych class.

I just finished taking Psych 100 with Dr. B. If you go to class and pay attention, you will have no problem passing her class. She would review a rough draft of most assignments. Dr B is hands down the best prof I've had. The course is hard, and there is a lot of work (no big project, but weekly homework and labs plus an in class midterm and a take home final)but if you need any help, she is more than willing to help you. Not my favorite. I felt as though the guidelines to assignments could've been clearer. She was a little nit-picky on how she liked things written. But she also allowed you to send her a draft of each assignment (except the final) and she would give you feedback before you submitted it for grading. Taking this class on campus would've been better.

The notes were on blackboard so you could print them out and the tests were pretty easy. She would always go over what was going to be on the test and gave you the answers to some of the questions. She also showed bonus videos which could easily help you get a good grade. Overall easy class and a great professor. She was always willing to help.

I absolutely love Dr. B. She's such a sweetheart and she's absolutely hilarious. Stats is such a boring class, but she makes things easier. Quizzes, the midterm, and the final are all take-home, so it's easy to get a good grade in the class. She's also extremely helpful. I definitely recommend taking a class or two with her.

A great teacher who can teach this subject very well. Gives a great understanding for psychology. Loved her class and attended all of her classes. She is very funny and nice. The only hard part is her grading on writing assignments.

She really knows what she is talking about. She wants everyone to pass with an A. Gives extra credit. The tests are hard if you don't study. If you do not put in the effort than you will not pass the class. Overall, I loved her and I am taking other classes with her in the Fall.

I absolutely love Dr. B. One of the sweetest people I've ever met. I took stats with her and got an A+ because EVERYTHING was online. Different story with Exp. Psych. She graded things really hard. I felt like everything I did wasn't good enough. I love her a lot, but this class is A LOT of work.

Stats is a difficult class, things can be confusing. If you need help just go to an office hour or shoot her an email. She always answers email promptly and thoroughly. She gives everyone equal opportunity to do well. She will help you in anyway that you need, as long as you ask!

Really study for the tests. Allows a cheatsheet. Harsh and rude grader for her assignments. Assignments have too many specific rules and hard to get in the 90s. Calls students' writing annoying. Her lectures are clear. Notes are on blackboard. Very organized and emails back almost immediately. Gives extra credit. Other than assignments, easy A.

Bannoura was AMAZING! she was a tough grader, but she was always there to help her students. She told us many times that she wants us to come to her office hours. i recommend her for PSYCH100 !

I had Dr. B for Psych 100 and I thought she was very fair. She gives you chances to earn extra credit and allows cheat sheets for tests which aren't too difficult. My only issue was that she grades papers somewhat tough and doesn't always clarify the exact reason why she took points off. Other than that I recommend her highly. Good lecturer too.

Very organized, clear and specific on everything. Learned alot. She allows rough drafts hw for her to read and give feedback for easy A. Allowed 2 cheat sheets. She also makes examples that relates to real life in that way you can learn. You can't blame her if you're failing because she always gives hours and responds to email asap to help you.

If you are ever confused in her class just go to her office and you will understand everything in just a few minutes! her office is decorated with Dr. who, nightmare before Christmas and star trek! seriously cool teacher! her grading is a little tough but ask her what you did wrong. From my experience going to her during her office hours if you have any questions is really helpful. That was what helped me when I was struggling with some of the assignments she is giving. The class overall is okay and you have to do a fair amount of work to pass the class.

Took Psyc100 (summer 6/weeks) w/Dr. Bannoura online. She gives pointed feedback, which is helpful, if you pay attention to it, you will do well! The course is laid out well. Exams were posted right away, and we could work ahead. There was a quiz for every chapter, 3 major assignments, and a final. The disc. board. comments count as extra credit!

I took developmental psych in a 6 week period over the summer. This professor is awesome. As soon as the class started, she posted all the quizzes/tests and the paper that was due at the end of the class. Not to mention, she gives you 3 attempts at quizzes/tests & uses the best score out of those 3. Responds to emails in a timely manner.

Dr. B is one of the best profs I had this semester. She lectures the entire class but gives real life examples to almost everything. Participation isn't mandatory and the notes are on blackboard but unless you actually show up you won't get an A. Very easy person to talk to gives advice. Gives like 50 points in extra credit.

Professor Bannoura was very interesting. I loved the course she made her notes clear and concise and almost always let you use a cheat sheet for exams which are fairly easy. Her assignments can be tedious but she lets you send her rough drafts ahead of time to ensure you get a good grace. She was always keeping us intrigued during lecture.

Dr.B is my favorite professor at HVCC! She has very interesting and informative lectures and I loved attending her classes. There were difficult assignments but she gave the option to turn in a rough draft and get feedback before turning in the assignment which was helpful. There was also extra credit almost every week. Would highly recommend!

Dr.B is awesome!!!!!!! I was struggling with my test and she really believed in me and even went out her way to send me an email to tell me how proud of me she was. She let us use a one page cheat sheet for a few test based on if she felt like we covered too much stuff to have to remember for the test.

Professor Bannoura made our lectures extremely easy and close to questions that would be on the test. We had a lot of assignments that were specific but she almost always gave you exact templates to complete it. She also offers a lot of extra credit and our textbook was free. definitely take her!

She is a great professor. Please call her Dr. Has she did work hard for it. She gives bonus to help you pass and gives feedback for rough draft before assignment is due .

I initially wanted to drop out of her class after getting a F on the very first assignment because she graded it too harshly, but I'm glad I stayed. I just tried harder, got the bonuses done, retook the quizzes and got an A+. She's not an easy A, but she would often just show us how the test is set up and what to study for. I'd recommend her.

DR. B WAS AMAZING. The class I took is one I am not a fan of, but she made it so easy to learn and understand. She was more than wiling to give feedback and help you work through your issues without giving answers. I can not express how wonderful it was to learn from her and I WILL be taking any class she offers if I am able. 10/10 Recommend.

You are allowed to email her drafts of assignments and she will check them prior to submission to ensure you do not lose points. Plenty of chances for extra credit and all of the work is not too challenging as long as you do the reading and watch the lectures. Most weeks, one assignment and one multiple choice quiz that you can take twice.

This class is TOUGH. It is probably the hardest class you will take for your psychology associates at Hudson Valley. She is a tough grader. She grades on what you present her not your "effort". I respect that. That being said, she is SO accessible, and genuinely wants you to do well. Put in the work, ask for help. It is a truly beneficial class.

Dr. B is a very great professor. She knows the class can be challenging and she is always willing to help out every student with the best of her ability. Every time I emailed her a question she got back to me within the hour with very helpful and detailed instructions. The class is a breeze if you pay attention and ask for help.

Dr. B is very kind and genuinely cares for her students. She is easily accessible if you have a question. Put in the effort, submit rough drafts for feedback and make adjustments as necessary before submitting papers; makes a HUGE difference in your grades!

FAV PROF EVER!!! She offers a lot of extra credit and will proofread all written assignments before you turn them in. She has high expectations, but with the proofreading she does it is easy to get great grades! She responds to emails so quickly! The quizzes were easy. She even will discuss course content further via email if you want! Great course

She is very nice & gives extra credit DB's throughout the entire course. Lots of research papers, but she allows rough drafts beforehand with feedback so you can go fix your mistakes. The feedback is pretty straight forward she just wants you to go more into depth. Quizzes every week but they are easy and you can take them twice would take again.

I love Dr. B. She is fair and gives such a straight forward syllabus. She offers every opportunity for you to receive an A- you just have to work for it.

I took this as an asynchronous course last spring, while there were regular weekly assignments, they were very well explained, she covered the bases of what she wanted you to do. The final was not too difficult. As long as you read and pay attention to assignments, it is not hard to do well. Sometimes she grades a little harsh but is understanding.

Prof. Bannoura was the best prof. I had during my time at Hudson Valley. Her class was amazing, was always available and even wrote me a recommendation letter for my 4 year college for me. She's compassionate and cares deeply about her students, as well as truly loves teaching. I would take her classes a million times again if I could.
