omg she is so bad at teaching.

this teacher ubeleavably can't conduct a class. She walked out of class twice. Waited until class to grade tests taking 40 min from teaching time....out of the class room. Can't clearly teach but just complains how we should "focus" on class. The lady constantly talks to herself in clas...Have fun.

This woman those not know the meaning of etiquette. She minimizes you when you ask a question. I am very good in English, and I had to struggle to get a decent grade. When you are on time she marks you late and when you are late then she marks you as absent. Her methods are in the least outdated and her mannerism is barbaric.

As everyone else has said, she is nuts! It's not that her class is too hard, it's that she is so negative towards everyone! Even the students that do well in the class, she'll have something negative to say. Your grade is pretty much based on tests, and during tests she is loud,talks and makes it difficult to concentrate. Every thing that everyone else said is true, she is out-there. I have never been so upset with anyone like i was at her, i had lost a family member and had to miss one day and she would not let me make it up and she said maybe i should quit school if i am having family problems.

Not a good teacher i have her fora prep class and all she did was commet about every little thing said and done. i can in to the class 2 weeks late and i went to see her at her office and she said that there was no way that i was going to pass her class b/c of comming in late also whenever she would tell us to be quiet she alwayed taked nonstop

She must be rating herself because there is no way in hell anyone would actually say that this professor is helpful or that she treats her students well. You could see that she was bullied in school, she is rude, gives you pop quizzes like were in middles school but that require you to memorize the whole chapter in order to possibly pass that quiz.

This class is terrible. No speeches, 2 test , 1 project , 20% participation grade. Project was easy but topics were not related to the class.. fracking, GMO's, animal factory farming, trafficking. I passed with a C. Very strict on phones and tardiness. Tests are hard because they are based on 6 chapters of the book. Dropped lowest grade.

Well apparently if you did not attend Suncoast or Dryfoos, "you probably do not know what MLA format is" according to this woman. She also proclaimed that since we are adults, we do not need to use the restroom during class, or els we will be marked absent. she's incredibly rude and yells when she speaks. i would NEVER take her class.

She is very rude. I couldn't attend to class the first week because I was in military training. when I went to explain her my situation she didn't even listen a word, she just automatically withdraw me. She is very strict with attendance. If you have issues she won't listen to you at all. All my professors helped me catch up except her.

I took this class & regretted it the first day. She has one of the fakest laugh ever and it will make you want to bang your head into a wall. If you tell her ahead of time that you will be missing one class (even though you are allowed to miss only 2 according to her syllabus) she will give you an attitude and tell you to get out and drop her class

Don't expect any kind of break or help from this professor. Extremely rude, unprofessional, and sarcastic. She makes her students feel stupid. That being said, she does give a lot of free grades, so if you can get past the awful personality it is impossible to fail this class. Still would not recommend because what she does grade, she grades harsh.

Professor Biferie is one of the worst professors I have encountered in my time at PBSC. She teaches nothing, her lectures are god awful, and aren't even on the material she asks you to read. Your whole grade on this class is dependent on the final project. If you can't stand politics stay out of her class because it's her beliefs or you're wrong.

I did not want to take her, so I gave her a chance. The rating was ACCURATE. She is a tough women and really expect students to be on their things, which I understood. If you have a life and I have trouble balancing the school and work dont recommend her. You spend your whole semester teaching yourself how to write a 2000 word speech on a topic that she WILL NOT teach you. I am a good student, but i dont recommend her to anyone.

You are given one major assignment throughout the semester and that assignment is going to be your entire grade. She DOES NOT assist with this speech, she just gives it to you and then teaches uneccessary things that has nothing to do with the speech for the rest of the semester. She will not help if you ask she will tell u to get a tutor.

This is the laziest teacher i have ever come across at palm beach state. She does not help with anything! throughout the semester she teaches things that has nothing to do with the final assignment. Then leaves us by urself to write the final paper without any information on how to do it. Trust me, stay away from this class

Your grade is literally based on one assignment that she doesn't teach you how to do. She says, "Google it, there are examples online." I had no idea what a speech outline was and had to teach myself how to write one. Then she tells the class at the end of the semester that if you want to know what you got on your project, you can email her to see.

I never missed a session and she gave me a C. We only had one assignment which I did to the best of my ability , I went to all the classes except for one and I notified her via E-mail. I also participated in her class and she gave me a C.

You're only graded by 4 things, but the only thing that truly matters in the final presentation. That basically determines your whole grade. And you have to participate too. She's terrible

I took her ENC1101 class back in 2006 and just remembered her today at my job! I'm actually amazed this woman has a job still in 2023 (as I write this review) and to the students who are going to sign up for her class, RUN! AVOID HER! She only has a job because of nepotism and what she teaches you won't matter in the work force!

I found the professor to be rude and unprofessional! The class is more difficult than it needs to be. The t professor is unwilling to help and offer any guidance. This has made my experience awfull to say the least and has me reconsidering furthering my education

"READ THE SYLLABUS"

This professor was not the best at all. If I had to paint a picture to the way she communicates through email, I wouldn't paint her to be the best looking individual. She barely communicates and when she does, her communication can come off very rude and nonchalant. She literally have me second guessing ever taking online classes again.

I recommend taking her only as a last resort. She assigns a lot of homework that doesn't count toward your grade (likely for participation). Only the intro video and final test count. No extra credit, no late work, and she's passive-aggressive with little help offered.

20% grade relies on an introductory assignment that uses an old media source that she wont compromise on.
