its not a hard class. Just do the papers, and occasionally do work in class. Theres computers in front of you, so you can go to yahoo launcher and listen to music or even go on aim. Its not hard, plus you can re-do your old papers and hand them in for better grades.

This is a great class, i recommend mrs. Blease to anyone who needs to take an english 101 class. As long as you do your work and hand things in on time you wont have a problem passing. She grades fair and knows if your working on class work or surfing the web during her class.

She is an incredible english professor. She gives great advice on improving papers. I did not like the book that was used, be Professor Blease made it a great class anyway.

Wonderful class. Took online. She was very helpful and always prompt with emails. The only thing was sometimes it took her a while to get back to me with my grades

She is a terrific teacher! She explains the concepts of writing a proper MLA formatted paper with such ease my brain is flowing on a river of air... Her knowledge of sports and current events is masterful. She can piece apart any information and help anyone understand the topic they chose for their paper. Well worth the time to take her course.

Great prof! Very friendly, gives you a view into her life and is also sincere and friendly the with the students. Grades easy, doesn't care if you show up or not, and gives you time in class to write assignments. She gets you ready to write by working you up with discussions! RECOMMENDED!

Anyone looking for a professor for ENG 101? Well look no further. Mrs. Blease is in my top 5. She's super funny and very blunt but also nice! She will not hesitate to help. You WILL do a lot of writing in this class. The assignments are clear, just follow directions and you will do fine. I wish I could have her for ENG 2

She is hilarious. Listening to her give lectures made my morning. Class is focused on writing papers in MLA format, so boring if you already know how to do this. Only 4 major papers and no final exam. First three papers are easy since she basically tells you what and how she wants it written. Research paper was the most time-consuming one.

She is a very good professor, funny and knows a lot about English. I would definitely recommend taking her class. There are only four papers, that's it. If you write the papers you will succeed. I did not think I was very good at writing papers until I took this class.

Where to start? She was awesome to have. At first she come off pretty strong with some curse words that let's say, slip out. She is not your typical teacher but I think that is what makes so much fun. She is not hard at all, just do your work. You really have to be a certain kind of stupid to fail this class.

For my first semester back to school in a very long time, I was glad to have her. She made the transition painless. Wish I could have her for all my classes, kept my attention, especially after eight hours of work. Time went quickly, I looked forward going every Monday and Wednesday.

Professor Blease is amazing. Her lectures are great and very relaxed. She only assigns 4 papers. There a few in class workshops to practice citing sources and works cited pages. At the end of the semester she gives you time in class to work on papers. She also allows you to rewrite papers for a better grade, very willing to help you fix errors.

This class was paper-based, but so is every English I at NCC. Miss Blease was pretty awesome. You were allowed to hand papers in as many times as you wanted and she told you what to fix every time. Attendance wasnt a must, but use judgement to know when assignments are due and things like that. Would recommend as an easy English class.

Easy going Professor. Great communication, has an interesting sense of humor, that lowers your stress. I recommend her if you're looking for a great English class experience. Allows you to revise your paper as many times as needed to get a passing grade. However, passing is relatively easy, as she tells you exactly what is expected on the papers.

In this class i was learning to write a paper correctly. So you could mess up and totally be failed by any other professors but with Blease she shows you how to fix it and do it correctly. She is very blunt and its great you will get the truth from her like DONT TAKE COLLEGE SUCCESS YOU DONT NEED IT!!!! i feel i have learned alot from her

She is easy going, and what I like is that you can choose topics for papers. You can choose any topic for the final paper, and for the other papers, you are given a broad topic (sports, social media, etc), or a choice of them, and you can pick any subject within that broad topic. There is also no final exam, since there's a final paper

She is great and wonderful. her class is never boring. i wish she was taking English 2 because i know she will be great at it. if you ever wanted a professor that make you feel you are a student and you have what it takes to make it then this is the chance.

She will help you with whatever you need and tells us personal stories. The classes go by quick but are very entertaining.

This professor was amazing. The lectures were ok, but they were easy or somewhat to understand. She was a good person to go to for guidance and more. Do not be afford to step up and let your voice be heard in her class. You will meet new ppl, and the class may seem like it is speeding down the highway.

I hate English but her class is awesome. Great professor! Make the class very interesting. Great stories to share. Very easy going. Very funny. Honest on what she shares. I can write an English wrong and she wont mark you wrong. She will give you time to fix and still have a good grade. Just show up and do assignments even if you dont know.

I really enjoyed her class this semester. She didn't require a textbook like other English I classes which was nice and a real money saver. I wish she taught other classes because I would take her again in a heart beat.

She is very involved during lecture and has open conversations about real life topics. She grades quickly, responds to emails, and gives good feedback. 4 papers with the expectation of a rough draft for each in between papers. Lots of time to write. Lectures will give you an idea of how to organize and write your papers but will be spent mostly discussing pop culture and society. Pretty easy class a clear outline from the start.

Mrs. Blease was the perfect professor to have during my first semester at NCC. I am currently dual enrolling out of high school, and she made everything very easy for me to adapt and take on a college-level course. No assignment was challenging, but if I had a question, she would always give great feedback in order to help answer my questions.

Professor Blease is the best! She is really funny and treats everyone like people, which can be a hard thing to find sometimes. She made english class fun to sit through and made my mornings better. Highly recommend her as a teacher.

She is genuinely one of the best professors I've had. She will work with you if you're having problems and will try to accommodate you. She went over the basics and explained everything in ways that made sense and were interesting. She grades on only a few things but gives good feedback and allows you to redo it if you want to.

There is a lot of variation in the paper topics so that you can find something you actually want to write about, and she allows you to revise the paper to receive a better grade.

I had Professor Blease for ENGL101 and ENGL151L; and she was amazing. Her lectures were very engaging, and she is easy to approach for help. Both of these classes are essay heavy, but she is incredibly flexible and understanding. She also gives the students some creative freedom which makes writing the papers less excruciating.

Professor Blease was amazing and I would definitely take her class again. I had her for English 1 and she makes the class super engaging. She does not give out a lot of work, definitely no busy work. And she is very easy to talk to, its easy to ask for help if you need any.

In topics she gives us to choose from for papers, she allows lots of exploration within the subject. She encourages participation in class but won't push you. :)

Professor Blease is AMAZING! I took both ENGL 101 and 151 with her, and both times it was an amazing class. She is hilarious, doesn't give busy work, gives clear information with grading, and welcomes all perspectives. I cannot recommend her enough, and if you stay on top of the writing, its a breeze.
