I HATED MATH UNTILL I TOOK HER CLASS. SHE MADE MATH EASY AND FUN. SHE EXPLAINS THINGS IN MANY DIFFERENT WAYS SO YOU CAN FIND THE METHOD THAT WORKS BEST FOR YOU. i GOT AN A IN HER CLASS, THE HIGHEST MAHT GRADE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN.

I was very happy with her teaching style. I would be taking another class with her but it will not fit my schedule which I'm bummed about. If you have a hard time in math take her she will explain it in a way that you can understand and you will get a great grade in the class.

MICHELLE IS FRIGGIN AWESOME!!! I always hated math and was terrified by it, but she is thorough and well-paced. I got my first A ever in a math class, and it really helped my academic confidence. I wish she could teach all my math classes. I *highly* recommend her to anyone struggling, or anyone who wants a cool teacher who is patient without being a push-over.

I've had her for 2 semesters and she is the best math teacher i have ever had. Because i hate math, but she makes so many shortcuts and tricks to problems that make math seem easier. She is also very understanding.

If you don't understand the material being taught before hand than this professor isn't for you. She is willing to help but she writes and covers the material so fast that I go to class then the math lab to understand what she said.

If you dont understand math the way she teaches in her class, maybe you should take an easier math class. I have never had a more helpful teacher than her. I used to hate math, but she helped me understand and feel confident about math. I got an A in her class and have got an A in the math class to follow. she is the best!

She is an excellent teacher. I never understood math any better than before I took her class. She will always be there if you have any questions and also if you are behind of the rest of the class. Take her!!! She is great!

If you are scared of math, this is the teacher to take. She really makes math easy to understand. I feel very confidant in my math skills now. I highly recommend this teacher for everyone but especially if you want to get beyond that lack of confidence and fear of math. You can tell she really enjoys teaching!!!

Shes great. A bit quirky and pretty fun. She has ways of teaching you math that will make you get it. And shes brings chocolate on test days to make it easier on you. Take her class.

If you don't know algebra, you will when you after taking her class. She really makes it fun and easy to learn

She ROCKS!!!! I was a total math Phobe before Michelle. Several of us have changed work schedules to take her fall class since it's only offered in the afternoon. But it's TOTALLY worth it. She cares if you do will or not.

BROCK ROCKS! Seriously. She is entertaining, engaging, and genuinely interested in rather or not you understand the material. She doesn't take herself too seriously and won't let you take yourself too seriously, either. If you just can't seem to relax about math, try a class with Ms. Brock and your world will be smooth, and your mind enlightened.

Got to say, for this class being an 8 week accelerated class, she is well worth it! She is engaging and knows her stuff! I would highly recommend her, she is willing to help you if you need it and really wants you to succeed! She is one of the best!

Excellent instructor. Works with you to help you understand. Lets you know which types of questions will be on test so you can study. Doesn't make it easy but makes sure you understand. Really knows her stuff!

Class was ok, but u must attend to understand the material. Good teacher but she does like 3 sections in a day & it's a lot of info stuffed into my crowded brain. Provides ex.credit, homework everyday, tests are ok, 3X5 card allowed/explains material well and overall nice. I recommend her.

Very nice!Will get an A if you do all of your homework and study for tests!She has a quiz once a week and a midterm and a final! Notes are allowed on every quiz and test!

Good professor! She is very thorough in lecture, don't miss it. Homework is all online and you can do the problems over and over until you get them correct. That is the easiest way to secure an A in the class. Get 100% on your homework. She is quick to respond to emails when you have a hang up on a hw problem. Highly recommend!

Prof. Brock is an awesome teacher. She is extremely helpful and fair; If you do not care for math, you will like it after taking her class.

The best math teacher I've ever had.She teaches you short-cuts that makes it easier to understand a math problem that you are dealing with.If you have a hard time with math then I advise you take this class because she'll help guide you through any concept you have trouble with.Not a lot of hw and the qizzes are group.

Best teacher I have EVER had! If you don't like math before taking her class, you will love it now! I now don't want to take from anyone else. To bad she isn't teaching Algebra!! She really is awesome, and tons of fun. you will LOVE her class! Lots of tests, but with the way she teaches, there shouldn't be a problem getting an A.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST MATH TEACHER EVER!! She has the greatest approach to algebra, she makes every problem clear and easy to understand. She will make you feel so confidant and takes the time to answer all your questions. PROFESSOR BROCK ROCKS!!!

Take this class if you like to work outside of class and in groups. The structure of the class is basically for those who can catch onto concepts fast (she is available during office hours for extra help). DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!! 45% of your grade is based on homework, which you get a WHOLE WEEK to complete.

MRS.BROCK is the BOMB! she is super fun, very clear in describing concepts, she always has time to help and helps build your self-esteem in math, prior to taking this course i was so scared of failing but i passed with flying colors, she is awesome and very very helpful. She puts time and effort into making sure that her students understand

It is stats so attendance is mandatory although she does understand if there is a scheduling issue. She is clear and willing to answer any question about math. M. Brock gave many opportunities to receive a better grade. Highly recommend for Stat. 300

Brock rocks! She really cares about her students. She gives a little extra credit, which is enough to turn a B into an A and a B into a C. She would make class fun! She is funny too. Do the online homework! The review test for the final was pretty identical too!I recommend her for stats.

Great professor, very fair in her grading, though it can be a little bit inconsistent at times. Easy to approach and ask questions. Highly recommend her class! Also, really just used book for problem sets, which are VERY time consuming. Get a good group, teamwork will save your life :)

Great Prof! Fair grading. Problem sets are TIME CONSUMING but if you have a good group, work together outside of class, it will save your grade and time! She is very approachable and helpful and funny proffesor. Enjoyed her class very much!

Very helpful professor. Buying the textbook is pointless, its included in the online homework. NEVER FALL BEHIND ON HOMEWORK Its a very doable class. An A is absolutly possible if you don't get lazy. The study guide for the final basically is the final.

Prof is amazing! There's a lot of work in the 8-wk condensed class but it's 4 credits, totally doable, and prof is AWESOME! She works with you throughout, paces well, and saves you from yourself multiple times. She's totally human and approachable. As stated, study guide is final. Would gladly take this prof again!

I am a current student of the STATWAY program and must say that the approach on math is different, but very methodical and logical. It is highly challenging since it is a new way of thinking and I like the baby steps that this program has. I love this teacher and the class set up though even though I struggle sometimes with the concept.Love overall

This is my absolute favorite teacher. She is so easy and makes explains and teaches the material really well. I love her and would recommend her to anyone. She is super nice and is easy about homework and grading.

Super cool teacher overall. Make sure you study for quizzes, they are 50% of your grade! If you take the hybrid class don't waste your money on the textbook(its online in mymathlab).

I took the STAT 300 8-week hybrid course and actually ended up appreciating and enjoying statistics quite a bit. Prof Brock is very funny. Be prepared to spend a lot of free time on statistics if you take the 8-week hybrid class though. Make sure you have the ti-83 or ti-84 calc or else you'll fail.

Best instructor ever! Take the STATWAY program with her! I've never seen an instructor so concerned in students success as Prof Brock. I'ts a 2 semester class, but is worth it!

I never liked math prior to taking this class. Michelle Brock is a great prof. She really cares about her students. She wants you to learn and succeed not just memorize. I highly recommended her. Now I enjoy math. I got an A in her class. I am looking forward to taking Statway with her too!

Professor Brock is a WONDERFUL Math teacher. She knows how to word things perfectly. I was amazed at how well I did when I actually gave it my all && she grades fairly and gives you chances to boost your grade if needed. I took her online class and was told I was going to HATE online math but to my surprise Professor Brock made if fun!!

I have always had trouble in math before taking Michelle's class. I am passing with a B and am a lot more confident in my math abilities. She really helps you understand the concepts. Most homework is online, so she has evening "office hours" where she immediately responds to emails. Overall, I recommend her to everyone who has struggled in math!

Professor Brock has by far, been the BEST math instructor I have EVER had. Seriously. EVER! She is SUPER thorough on every single point. She even has awesome new ways of approaching problems. Very funny teacher too. Daily quizes worth only 5 ptss (just a review from previous day) Test after each section, hw nightly. Plenty of chances for extra cred

I understood almost everything! there were some points she rushed through and only a section or two of word problems she could have given us a handout for to make it easier to remember, but otherwise no problems! Her tests aren't ridiculously long which is nice, but you still need to prepare for them. Seriously! TAKE HER

Professor Brock is an angel sent to teach students Math in a way that is relatable. Math was a subject that terrified me but Professor Brocks warm, compassionate style of teaching gave me the tools to overcome my anxiety and achieve an A in the class. The class is designed to make you learn and appreciate math with hard work and dedication.

Seriously the best math professor I've ever had, she offers extra credit and will extend deadlines on homework where necessary. She cares a lot about her students and teaches math in a very clear, precise, and thorough way. If you have struggled with math- algebra especially- I highly recommend this professor.

What a great professor! Every time I ran into trouble she has helped me succeed! I had some troubles come up mid semester and she was willing to work around it for me.

Easy online class if you do ALL the work, and she gives a lot of extra credit which is great! 3 in-person exams which she is flexible if you can't take on the date assigned due to work etc. Low on clarity because she will do some problems incorrectly or grade students posts as correct when they are wrong so can get confusing at times.

This professor is incredible. I've been in the class only a month but her caring and concern for every student is not like I've ever seen in any college class. So glad I chose this class. This woman is amazing!

Professor Brock is truly the BEST in the business. I'm so happy I signed up for her Statway class. I never felt anxious or lost like I had in other math classes. Her grading was fair and her availability was fantastic. Always there when a student is in need. She wants her students to succeed and she will provide encouragement thru the journey!

Professor Brock is absolutely amazing. I chose to take Statway because I couldn't seem to get through Algebra 1. The Statway program changed my thoughts and the subject of math. This professor reduced my math anxiety, was there to help anyone in need, and the best source of encouragement. Please take her class, you'll be so grateful you did.

Without a doubt, one of the most knowledgeable professors in the math dept at ARC. She is fun, makes statistics relevant, knows the course inside-out, and is there for you. One of the best encouragers I have ever met!

The subject is extensive and difficult, but Professor Brock is amazing. She provides extra credit, and makes herself available outside of class to help students. She genuinely wants everyone to pass, and she wants you to understand the material. I would take her for every math class if possible. She's a gem. Be sure to ask if you have questions.

I find the class to be fairly easy. A lot of group work that reinforces the topics, online assignments every week including miniature tests. You will have to work at the concepts in the class to understand them typically but the tools to succeed are given to you. There were about 3 or 4 tutors this semester that can help.

She's a great teacher always available for help, her tests are fair and she does everything to prepare you and the class is easily passable as long as you do the work required

Statway was a challenging class .because makes you think out of the box. I went to as many beacon tutoring sessions, I took notes, engaged in group interaction, did the online homework, quizzes, and I did not miss a day of class. I gave it my all, because I need this class to transfer to a 4 year. She is such a great, inspiring.

I'm so gratefull to have this lady teaching me STATS! It's tough but she is a great instructor who really cares about her students.

This professor is awesome! She is honest and clear about all of her expectations and is a fabulous teacher. She made taking math enjoyable and she always gave out tests that were very similar to the material you learn from My Math Lab. I would definitely take a class of hers again!

She's great, a lot of group work in statway, which is fine as long as your group is decent. Grades in groupwork are graded together. Exams are easy, part multiple choice, and a few written problems. She is very clear with how she teaches. You should go to every class to better understand the subject, and you get a bonus on your final if you do.

Online 5 unit math class. Great instructor. Very well-organized schedule to get through a lot of material. Textbook & online videos are excellent. Homework was manageable & you can get answers using online calculators & sites. However, you must know material to pass on-site midterm and final, which account for 50% of grade. Some extra-credit.

Great class. I'm not bad at Math, so YMMV, but this was the easiest math I've taken (and I've taken this class twice before 10 years ago, dropped both times). She was very generous with grading and even allowed one last chance at the end of the semester to submit any of the assignments to receive credit or improve scores.

She gives grades based on the amount of work you've done, which really means something if you've already done plenty beforehand. She also has extra credit for practice whenever there's an exam coming up.

Brock uses an awesome program called mymathlab. She is organized and very responsive. Grades are updated in a timely manner; extra credit is given to help with all three exams. This class is challenging, be ready to study and learn new math formulas daily. Yes, every day you well learn a new math concept. This class is up to you not anyone else.
