Had her for the online class, so didn't interact with her too much. However the schedule was pretty clear and didn't have too many problems. If you have ever had a chem class before (incl. high school) then you should be fine. Not hard at all. Only complaint is that she didn't respond very well to e-mails and in an online class that is a Must.

She is a great teacher. She explains things clearly and completely. Attendance is not *mandatory* but if you don't go to class you will be totally lost. I had never taken chem before and I felt like I really understood and learned what she was teaching. This is not an easy A...you have to work in this class; she does not cut you much slack.

Excellent instructor. Always came to class prepared. Showed extreme patience throughout our entire semester - even with students who were not properly 'focused' on the subject. Lectures were appropriate to material being presented. Gave in-class demonstrations of chemical processes that helped relate subject to real world. She's top-notch!

Professor Clark is an excellent professor. I had never taken a Chemistry class before and with her study guides and willingness to help, it was a fun, exciting class. I would recommend attending class everyday. Professor Clark makes herself available to all her students and is more than willing to help one succeed. I would recommend her to anyone.

Prof Clark defines what an instructor should be like. She is so clear and on task. No extra things to get you confused or off topic. She makes you want to learn.

Great teacher, very clear and very patient. Hands out fill-in-the-blank notes for each unit and her tests come straight from those. If you are one of those who get things pretty easily you probably won't even need your book (I don't use mine), there are plenty of practice problems in the booklets she gives out. She teaches what you need to know.

Best teach i ever had. gives out fill in te blank study guides that are very helpful on the test. I got 100 percent on her final and an A on every test. Very Easy and nice!

Clark is great. She is very understanding person. Clark allows extentions on OWL dead lines and offers help on homework problems prior to class. She post all her lectures online which is great if you can't understand your notes. Quizes help prepare for tests. The multiple choice is the only difficult part of the test if you don't read the book.

Wonderful teacher. Very knowledgeable about the subject. She is extremely nice and helpful and wants you to succeed as best as you can. Moderate workload, tests are not bad if you study for them. Would recommend to anyone!

She is a wonderful teacher. Chem II is a very hard class to understand, but she makes it a lot easier. She is very funny and very personal with her students. Feel free to ask any questions she will be more then happy to answer. If you have to take Chem II take Professor Clark

She's very nice, pretty funny. She is very nit-picky though. She moves fast, and you really do need to go to class. The tests/quizzes are a breeze if you do the ALL of the homework

Extremely helpful. I saw her explain problems as often as people needed her to explain it for them to understand it. Tests are more then ok. I did one problem using logic and calculus and not the formula (had no time to study) she gave me full credit. Deductions on Sig Figs... but they all do that. Can only recommend.

She was very helpful. I loved chemistry because of her class. Her notes are easy to follow and she will go over it if you ask during class! Had her for lab and was also very helpful and easy to follow. Would take her again in a heartbeat and have recommended her to others!

all lectures are online & you have a 10pt. quiz every week. for about an hour she'll go over any questions; she is very helpful and nice. the lab was easy to follow and she clearly explained what to do. my only complaint is her nit-picky grading, but that's chemistry. i enjoyed her class & would definitely recommend this teacher!

This is a really tough class to take in the summer but she Ms. Clark made it enjoyable and for the 1st time ever I liked chemistry. I highly recommend this instructor.

Great online lectures with great notes! We had a substitute for most of the labs since she was on maternity leave but when she was there she was great and very helpful. She even answered emails quickly even though she was on maternity leave. You have to study a lot but I would highly recommend her. She makes Chemistry bearable.

She is awesome! I would recommend her hybrid class to anyone. Though I only put a 3 for easiness, the 3 represents the subject...not the teacher! She provides all the information you need for test. You do have to study and spend time in this class but that is just the subject. Some people said she gets annoyed by questions...Very untrue! Take her

I actually don't hate Chemistry as much as I did in high school. This Hybrid class was great - her online lectures REALLY helped. I hated going to the test center for exams. I would recommend both this teacher & this class.

Ms. Clark is very friendly and personable. I've struggled some this semester due to large course load with several science classes in one semester and home life. Shes been a great help with helping me get back on track.

I took the hybrid course and loved the lectures. Don't be fooled by the reduced meeting time for the hybrid course because you really have to work. I watched the lectures several times and found all of her examples very helpful. The hybrid is nice because it gives you flexibility. If you ever have questions, Professor Clark is eager to help.

Professor Clark's hybrid chemistry class is fantastic. If you did well in a high school chem class, you will be perfect in the hybrid. The lectures are helpful since you can watch them back as you need to study and the notes are easy to follow. She now does tests in the lab and answers all questions. Excellent teacher.

Mrs. Clark is the best Chem professor hands down. Her lectures aren't tough, she is very thorough. She also uploads all lectures online so if you miss class you'll be okay. The tests are a little tough, but if you study your notes you will do fine. He labs are also fantastic! She is very clear and helpful. Take her class!!

She does a great job of organizing the material. You have a small quiz each week, not hard, and then two lab tests in the semester. She gives you note packets each unit that you fill out in class. She gives you a few study guides and practice tests for the exams. She is very willing to help you. Difficult but study hard and you'll pass

At the beginning of the semester, the class was kind of all over the place. Everything had due dates last semester, like she didn't have time to change them. You have daily assignments, but they don't take too long and the instructions are clear. Bonus: The daily assignments stop a month before the end of the semester. I enjoyed it.

Great instructor! Wants you to succeed. Tough course, but chemistry can be fun if you study! Highly recommend Professor Clark - her enthusiasm and wit makes this class a lot of fun!

This is the best online class I've ever taken! I was skeptical on taking this online. She offers so much to make sure you work hard to get the grade you want. She has video lectures! Packets to review with for each test! Optional homework problems! More notes on D2L! If you have a problem with something, she's there for you to help you solve it.

Professor Clark- how do I even begin. She is the best professor I've ever had hands down. Yes, you have to work for your grade. It's chemistry, it's tough. But she makes it enjoyable and do-able. Lectures are fun, she makes lab exciting. She's an overall sweetheart. Gets grades in fast too. You won't regret taking her.

Michelle is an outstanding teacher. Not only is she wonderful at explaining things, but she also wants to get to know everyone of her students. For as difficult of a class as it is Michelle makes it fun! You will be just fine as long you show up to class and study a couple of hours a week. She'll drop your two lowest quiz scores as well!

I took preparation for chemistry, and it was a pretty easy class. Some stuff was hard for me to understand, but once you study it a while it makes sense. I took a hybrid class - beware, we had a quiz every time we met in class (once a week). She explained things in a clear way. She required us to spend 2 hrs in AAC + 2 hrs in SRC and meet w a tutor

Loved, Loved, Loved Prof. Clark! Chem is tough but she made it not only clear but fun. Her enthusiasm for her work is evident and rubbed off. :) Not gonna lie, I struggled with some of the assignments just bc Chem isn't easy, but she was always happy to help and answer questions. Considering a Chem major now. Loved her class! Highly recommend.

Professor Clark is a great online professor!! I was worried I wouldn't understand the material since I'm taking this course online and I'm a non-STEM major. However, her online lectures really helped me grasp and the understand the material. She always responds quickly to emails. She isn't a tough grader on the labs & grades them for participation.

Staying on top of work can be difficult because of the amount of material you have to cover but she's very good about helping students whenever they need it. She allows for 30 minutes at the beginning of each class to go over questions and gives partial credit versus counting off completely. She's a wonderful teacher!!

Prof. Clark was truly a blessing. Her lectures online were sometimes annoying in that they were recorded with a face to face class, but I would argue that the ones where she did alone were not as detailed or easy to follow. Overall, she is so very caring about her students and will work with you for a good grade if you put in the work.

Take her! Easy to understand on lecture videos. Lenient grader. A lot book assignments, but she provides all answer which are really helpful. Also gives feedback to quizzes for clarity on answers. Not really a fast responder when trying to email her. Overall she definitely made chemistry class easier. Make sure to study and go to SRC for extra help

I actually dropped from Chem 124/125 to her course b/c I was struggling so much. Guys, if you haven't had chem before or you're not great at it, do yourself a FAVOR and take her! She will help you understand even the most confusing topics in Chem. I promise you will be 100% ready to move on to Chem/Lab. If you don't take her, that's your loss.

Professor Clark is hands down one of the best professors I have had at JCCC. I was super anxious to take this class again due to dropping it last year. But I promise you, Professor Clark is the best there is. She has great lectures and a way of teaching that makes the content fun and interesting. If you are reading this, take her course!

She makes chem accessible and fun for all learners! Focus more on the lecture notes than the book to do well in this course. Everything is open note!

Professor Clark is a kind person who is passionate about chemistry being taught at every level. This course helped me complete my science and lab credit with flying colors.

Mrs Clark is a really nice professor! She does give quite a lot of homework but you just have to stay on top of it. Classes were about 30 minutes on a zoom call and I only had class on monday. Also if your not great at Chemistry she is really good at explaining problems and helping you outside of class time.

I hated this class because I could care less about chemistry, but it's a requirement. That being said, professor Clark organizes the course into neatly packaged units that are easy to digest and helpful for staying on track. It is A LOT of work, but if you can keep up with that, this class is an easy A. Take this class for your science req.

She was absolutely amazing! I was terrified of taking chemistry, but she made this class doable for me. Her lectures could be long, but they were extremely informative. She made chemistry interesting, and actually cared about how you were doing in and out of class. My only issue was around spring break, all the quizzes got scheduled weirdly.

I had her online course and it was awesome, the labs were so easy to understand and every project flew by. If I could take her class for everything I would.

Check Canvas every day! Having a virtual class is challenging since it emphasizes you having control over your learning. Also, make sure you fill out the note packets!! Those are so helpful!

I'd highly recommend Professor Clark to others. She explains material clearly and simplifies complex concepts. The assignments/ practice exams are really helpful for preparing for tests. She responds quickly to emails, returns grade promptly, and also make time for virtual office hours. I was initially nervous about online, but I'm glad I had her.
